    2024 TVS iQubeTVS Motor Company registered a significant improvement in domestic sales at 29.40% YoY in April 2024 with the Jupiter scooter in the leadIn April 2024, TVS Motor Company reported substantial sales growth in domestic markets both in terms of YoY and MoM. It was the Jupiter scooter, Raider and Apache along with the XL moped that commanded a major 72% share in total sales. TVS iQube in the electric two wheeler segment has seen outstanding demand and sales are set to increase with the recent launch of the new top-spec ST variant of the iQube electric scooterTVS Motor Domestic Sales April 2024TVS Motor has recorded total sales of 3,10,449 units in April 2024, a 29.40% YoY growth over 2,32,956 units sold in April 2023. This was a volume growth of 68,493 units. It was the TVS Jupiter that commanded the most attention with a 29.38% YoY growth to 77,086 units sold in the past month from 59,583 units sold in April 2023. The Jupiter scooter was also the 2nd best-selling scooter in India after the Honda Activa.TVS Sales Breakup April 2024TVS Raider and Apache followed in quick succession with 51,098 units and 45,520 units sold in April 2024 relating to a 62.26% and 19.32% YoY growth. These two bikes also featured at Nos. 5 and 6 on the list of best-selling motorcycles last month. The Apache lineup was also extended with the new RTR Black Edition that will compete with the Bajaj Pulsar and Yamaha FZ in the 160cc category.TVS XL moped, the only such offering in the company portfolio, has seen a 20.04% YoY growth in sales to 41,924 units while the Ntorq 125cc scooter sales grew at 13.77% to 30,411 units in the past month. TVS Motor recorded sales of its electric iQube at 16,713 units with a massive 168.40% YoY growth. The transition from FAME II which ended on 31st March 2024 to the new Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS) 2024 that came into effect from April 2024 continued to see robust demand in the electric two wheeler segment.TVS Sales Breakup April 2024 – YoY ComparisonTVS Sport sales dipped 15.01% while Radeon sales were up 31.37% to 12,316 units. It was the TVS Zest 110cc scooter that received overwhelming demand last month with a YoY growth of 785.51% to 12,316 units from just 9,375 units sold in April 2023. The sales list also included TVS Ronin (2,130 units, Apache 310 (422 units) and Star City (1 unit). Star City saw its sales fall 99.98% over 4,627 units sold in April 2023 while Pep+ sales were down to 0 units.TVS Sales Breakup April 2024 – MoM ComparisonTVS Motor MoM Sales April 2024On a MoM basis, TVS has also posted positive sales which grew at 15.71% over 2,60,532 units sold in March 2024. Almost all models in the company portfolio have recorded MoM growth in sales except for the Zest, Apache 310 and Star City.Jupiter scooter sales grew by 7.98% MoM from 71,390 units while Raider sales were up 34.38% from 38,026 units sold in March 2024. TVS Apache, XL and Ntorq have also posted significant MoM growth while iQube and Sport sales grew by 16.66% and 31.55% respectively.TVS Radeon 110 cc commuter motorcycle that is a rival to Hero Splendor has seen a 9.65% MoM growth to 12,316 units from 11,232 units sold in March 2024. However, Zest sales dipped considerably by 12.01% over 9,239 units sold in March 2024.     TVS Apache RR 310 Miami BlueTVS Motor has reported a growth across both domestic sales and exports in March 2024 with domestic sales up 8% and exports soaring 26.71% YoYTVS Motor Company, the third best-selling two wheeler maker in India after Hero and Honda, has reported increased sales in March 2024, thus ending the past fiscal on a positive note. Total sales (domestic + exports) in March 2024 improved by 10% to 3,42,378 units, a growth of 40,007 units over 3,05,371 units sold in March 2023. The two wheeler maker has also registered their highest sales in FY2024 at 29,65,744 units overtaking Bajaj Auto by significant numbers.TVS Domestic Sales March 2024Taking into account domestic sales, TVS Motor has reported an 8.20% YoY growth. Sales which had stood at 2,40,780 units in March 2023 improved to 2,60,532 units in March 2024. This was a volume growth of 19,752 units. In the motorcycle segment, the company sells the Apache, Raider 125, Sport, Radeon, Ronin, etc while it has XL in the moped segment and Jupiter, Ntorq and iQube in the scooter segment out of which the iQube is its sole electric offering.TVS Sales Breakup March 2024Leading the domestic sales list was TVS Jupiter with a 21.26% YoY growth. Sales improved to 71,390 units in the past month, up from 58,874 units sold in March 2023. Jupiter currently commands a 27.40% share. At No. 2 position was the XL moped with 40,867 unit sales in the past month, up 11.01% over 36,814 units sold in March 2023. In March 2024, the company also registered the names TVS XL EV and E-XL for their upcoming electric moped which is pegged for launch in September 2024 to rival the recently introduced Kinetic E-Luna.Raider sales also improved tremendously by 22.66% YoY to 38,026 units in March 2024 up from 31,002 units sold in March 2023. However, thereafter the model lineup suffered a setback with the Apache (34,237 units), Ntorq (26,912 units), iQube (14,326 units) and Sport (11,934 units) each suffering a YoY de-growth. TVS recently increased prices of its iQube and iQube S electric scooters by Rs 3,000 and 6,000 respectively. This price hike comes in following a new Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS) introduced by the Government of India following the FAME II scheme ending on 31st March 2024.TVS Sales Breakup March 2024Lower down the domestic sales list and posting outstanding YoY growth was the Radeon with a 37.21% improvement in March 2024 to 11,232 units while it was exceptional demand seen for the Zest, sales of which grew by 188.63% YoY to 9,239 units in March 2024. The new Ronin added 1,911 units to TVS sales last month while the Apache 310 saw its sales up 8.78% to 446 units from 410 units sold in March 2023. Star City sales dipped 99.38% to just 12 units as compared to 1,931 units sold in the same month last year.TVS Sales Breakup March 2024TVS Exports in March 2024 – Star City 125 in the LeadTVS exports improved by 26.71% YoY in March 2024 to 81,846 units, up from 64,591 units sold in March 2024. This was a volume growth of 17,255 units. In the lead at No.1 on the export list was Star City 125 with 34,897 units sold last month, a 28.60% YoY growth from 27,136 units sold in March 2023 to command a 42.64% share on this list.Apache exports also improved by 126.53% to 11,408 units from 5,036 units YoY while Star City saw a 51.85% YoY growth in exports to 11,372 units. A maximum YoY growth in exports was experienced by the TVS Raider which improved at the rate of 161.36% to 7,745 units in March 2024 from 3,346 units sold in March 2023.Jupiter exports dipped 35.21% to 5,917 units in the past month while a 45.91% growth was reported for the TVS Sport to 5,625 units. The list also included the Ntorq (2,764 units) and XL (496 units) both of which have suffered massive YoY de-growth while there were 416 units of the relatively new Ronin exported last month. Apache 310 sales grew to 166 units from 90 units, an 84.44% growth on a YoY basis while iQube exports stood at 40 units in the said month from 0 units shipped in March 2023. More

    TVS JupiterAnalysing the TVS Motor sales March 2024 charts, we can see that there was a MoM decline across all the entries, except for 3W Domestic salesOne of India’s leading 2W and 3W manufacturer, TVS Motor, posted an impressive 3,54,592 units total sales in the month of March 2024. The company garnered this sales number across multiple vehicle genres like motorcycles, scooters, e-scooters, mopeds and 3W-wheelers. While the company witnessed commendable YoY growth, there was a slight MoM decline as well.TVS Motor Sales March 2024Breaking the numbers further, we have motorcycles at the top and e-scooters at the bottom. With 1,71,611 motorcycles sold, this genre of vehicles took the top position with 49.82% of TVS’ total sales. Some of the most popular motorcycles from TVS include Apache range, Raider 125, Sport, Radeon, Ronin and more.When compared to the 1,41,250 units sold in March 2023 and the 1,84,023 units sold in February 2024, TVS motorcycles saw 21.49% YoY growth and 6.74% MoM decline. Volume growth YoY stood at 30,361 units and volume loss MoM was 12,412 units.In 2nd place, we have scooters with 38.17% of TVS’ total sales. Sales stood at 1,31,472 units last month and registered a 2.06% YoY growth over 1,28,817 units sold last year and a 0.51% MoM decline over 1,32,152 units sold a month before. Thus leading to volume growth of 2,655 units YoY and losing 680 units MoM. Leading scooters are Jupiter, Ntorq and iQube.TVS Motor Sales March 2024 – YoYWhen we say mopeds, it is the XL 100 range that sold 41,363 units and there was a 10.32% YoY growth and 0.65% MoM decline and accounted for 12% of company’s sales. iQube range of scooters sold 15,250 units and fell into the red completely with a 0.74% YoY decline and a substantial 15.08% MoM decline.Exports & 3W salesTVS sold 2,60,532 2W vehicles in the domestic market and accounted for 75.64% of company’s total 2W sales. 2W domestic sales saw 8.2% YoY growth and a 2.61% MoM decline. Exports took 24.36% of TVS’ total 2W sales with 83,914 units shipped last month and gained 25.66% in sales YoY, but also witnessed a 7.08% MoM decline.Total 2W sales were 3,44,446 units with 11.99% YoY growth as opposed to 3,07,559 units sold a year ago and a 3.73% MoM decline when compared to 3,57,810 units sold a month before. TVS’ 3W sales stood at 2,088 units in domestic market and 8,058 units shipped abroad. 3W domestic saw 56.4% YoY and 1.06% MoM growth, while 3W exports declined by 2.42% YoY and 5.73% MoM.TVS Motor Sales March 2024 – MoMIn total, TVS sold 10,146 3W vehicles in India with 5.76% YoY growth gaining 553 units in volume and 4.41% MoM decline losing 468 units in volume MoM. TVS’ total domestic sales (2W+3W) stood at 2,62,620 units and total exports (2W + 3W) was 91,972 units. When compared to total domestic sales growth of 5.76%, company’s total export growth of 22.57% was more notable.In total (2W + 3W), TVS managed to push 3,54,592 vehicles out of its manufacturing facilities across motorcycles, scooters and mopeds in both domestic and international business. Almost every model in the company’s portfolio has seen positive demand steering up total sales (domestic + exports) to 3,52,750 units in February 2024, up 86,875 units when compared to 2,65,875 units sold in February 2023. This related to a 24.62 percent YoY growth.TVS Motor Domestic Sales February 2024With Jupiter scooter being the best-selling model in the company portfolio in domestic markets and the Star City 125 grabbing most attention globally, the company now gears up to expand its electric vehicle portfolio beyond the  iQube. Two names, TVS XL EV and E-XL names have been registered, one of which will become the electric version of the ICE powered moped – XL 100. Jupiter sales grew by 37.05 percent YoY to 73,860 units in February 2024, up from 52,891 units sold in February 2023 to command a 27.61 percent share on this list.TVS Motor Exports Breakup Feb 2024TVS Raider, a popular model in the 125cc segment, has also seen a 38.61 percent YoY growth to 42,063 units in the past month, up from 30,346 units sold in February 2023. It was followed by the XL moped with 41,059 unit sales last month, up from 35,346 units sold in February 2023. TVS Apache has seen a very marginal YoY de-growth by 0.98 percent to 34,593 units from 34,935 units sold in the same month last year.Sales of the Ntorq grew by 45.47 percent to 24,911 units while iQube sales improved by 1.74 percent to 15,792 units in February 2024. The domestic sales list also included the Sport (12,528 units), Radeon (12,337 units) and Zest (7,579 units). Relatively new entrant Ronin sales stood at 2,042 units while R310 sales were at 573 units, a 53.21 percent YoY growth from 374 units sold in February 2023. TVS Star City suffered a 95.54 percent YoY de-growth with just 165 units sold last month.TVS Exports Led by Star City 125 in February 2024TVS Exports grew nearly two fold in February 2024 to 87,248 units, up 96.20 percent from 44,470 units shipped in February 2023.  In global markets, it was Star City 125 along with Star City that amassed the highest sales and a combined share of 64.2 percent. Star City 125 exports went up to 38,137 units last month from 18,250 units shipped in February 2023 relating to a 108.97 percent YoY growth. Star City exports also climbed to 17,874 units, a 266.57 percent YoY growth over 4,876 units shipped in February 2023.Significant sales growth was also seen for the Apache (9,285 units), Sport (6,540 units) and Raider (5,982 units) while Jupiter exports dipped 13.03 percent to 4,647 units in the past month. The list also included TVS Ntorq (3,196 units), Ronin (838 units), XL (576 units) and iQube (113 units) while R310 exports dipped 100 percent to 60 units in February 2024. More
