Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 Bobber Details Leaked Ahead Of Launch

    Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber
With the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350, users can expect more enjoyable rides and some distinctive features as well
Royal Enfield has strived to increase options available to enthusiasts continuously. As part of that strategy, RE’s 350cc portfolio will get a new member – the Goan Classic 350. The new bike is scheduled to debut at the upcoming Motoverse. The 3-day event will be held from 22nd to 24th November 2024.
Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 – What’s different?
New Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 will feature distinctive elements that make it stand out among other 350cc motorcycles from Royal Enfield. For example, the bike will be getting whitewall tyres which were a popular choice during the 1950s and 1960s. Their use was quite common across both cars and motorcycles. Brands like Harley-Davidson and Indian had used these tyres for several of their products.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber Spied
Whitewall tyres enhance the retro vibes of the bobber-style Goan Classic 350. Enthusiasts who prefer a vintage look and feel will surely be interested in the new Royal Enfield bike. As of now, whitewall tyres are quite rare to be spotted with modern motorcycles. Other changes include a new “U” handlebar that better suits the needs of a bobber-style motorcycle.
Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 has a ground clearance of 170 mm. It will come with a rider-only seat as standard. A pillion seat will be available as an accessory, along with the supporting kit needed to mount it at the rear. The setup can be similar to that of the pillion seat option available with Shotgun 650. With the rider-only seat, Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 has a kerb weight of 197 kg. With the pillion seat and supporting frame, the weight of the bike will increase by around 9 kg.

    Parts borrowed from Classic 350
Most other features of Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 will be the same as Classic 350. Some of the key highlights include a circular headlamp (probably LED) and rear-view mirrors, tear-drop fuel tank and broad fenders at front and rear. Suspension setup comprises conventional telescopic forks at front and dual rear shock absorbers. While spoked wheels will be better suited for the bobber-style Goan Classic 350, Royal Enfield may provide the option of alloy wheels as well.
Wheel sizes could be similar to Classic 350 – 19-inch front and 18-inch rear. Braking setup is expected to have 300 mm and 270 mm discs at front and rear, respectively. The twin downtube spine frame will be similar to other 350cc Royal Enfield motorcycles. Powering Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 will be the same 349cc, single-cylinder, air-oil cooled engine that generates 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. It is mated with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.

Goan Classic 350 – Price estimate
Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 will be marketed as a lifestyle product and could command a slightly higher pricing in comparison to Classic 350. This can be especially true for the top variants of Goan Classic 350. For reference, Classic 350 single-channel ABS variants start at Rs 1.93 lakh. The top variant is available at Rs 2.30 lakh.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber Spied With Windshield – Standard Or Accessory?

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber SpiedThis upcoming Bobber style motorcycle from Royal Enfield will be powered by the same 350cc engine with around 20.7 bhp and 27 Nm
While they have already conquered the premium 300cc to 500cc motorcycle segment, Royal Enfield is on the verge of fortifying it further. Leaving no wiggle room to catch up, if we may. The company’s 350cc portfolio is already expansive and will witness a new entrant in the form of Classic 350 Bobber (name not confirmed).
This motorcycle has been spotted testing and the latest spy shots show the bike in more detail. For starters, the camouflage is gone, suggesting that the launch might be nearing. When launched, it might emerge as the more quirky and youthful version of Royal Enfield’s 350cc portfolio. Let’s take a look.
    Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber
    Classic 350 Bobber Spied Again
Royal Enfield has a slew of 350cc motorcycles in its arsenal. These include the utterly retro Bullet 350, darling of the sales charts Classic 350, most affordable Hunter 350 and the touring-friendly Meteor 350. These four motorcycles have bolstered Royal Enfield’s image as the best-selling classic bike manufacturer of all time.
Now, there will be a 5th 350cc Royal Enfield and it will be a Bobber-style motorcycle. Name is not confirmed yet. But speculations suggest possibilities like Classic 350 Bobber, Goan Classic 350, Goan 350, and Bobber 350 among others.
    Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber
Bobber 350 from Royal Enfield will be a friendlier take on a long-distance cruiser, based on Classic 350. While there is RE’s resident cruiser, Meteor 350, upcoming Bobber 350 has a lot of perks and is a style statement along with being functional. For starters, we get a massive “U” handlebar that is a standout element. This lends a lot of comfort on longer journeys.
The style statement comes from a single-seat approach with an optional pillion seat. Bobbers are primarily known for this approach. Now, we get to see a very tall windscreen on the latest test mules too. This would be a godsend for long-distance cruisers to deflect wind and protect riders from wind blasts. This windshield might be an accessory, instead of being standard fitment.
    Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber
    What to expect?
Other notable element seen on this test mule is a white-walled tyre, which is a proper retro touch. Royal Enfield must have collaborated with a local tyre manufacturer to source these white-walled tyres. Unlike the Classic 350, Bobber 350 doesn’t get a pea-shooter exhaust. Instead, it gets a normal unit finished in Black. Wheelbase is likely to be the same as Classic 350, unlike traditional Bobber bikes.
Bobber 350 gets alloy wheels, which will be a boon against punctures. Instrument cluster might be the same as Classic 350 along with LED headlights, tail lights and turn indicators. Powertrains-wise, Bobber 350 will get the same 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with 20.7 bhp of peak power and 27 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. More

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric 2.0 Showcased At EICMA – New Motor, Battery

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric 2.0 ConceptWith the showcase of Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric 2.0 concept at EICMA 2024, the company is flexing its interest to e-mobility
Being among the best-selling classic and retro motorcycle manufacturers in the world, Royal Enfield has built on nostalgia and past heritage. However, the company is equally invested into the future with electrification and sustainability being among the concerns shared.
In that regard, Royal Enfield just debuted its Flying Flea lineup at EICMA 2024. However, there was another showcase at EICMA 2024 and it was a second iteration of electric Himalayan concept showcased at EICMA 2023. Called Himalayan Electric 2.0, this motorcycle debuts a new and improved battery and motor.
    Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric 2.0
    Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric 2.0
With the launch of Himalayan 411, Royal Enfield established itself as a dominant player in India’s mainstream ADV sector. This segment had only witnessed lower capacity offerings from Hero MotoCorp and soon became an instant hit. The Himalayan 450 built on this bike’s legacy and unlocked better highway cruising capability.
Last year at EICMA 2023, Royal Enfield showcased HIM-E concept, an electrified ADV motorcycle under the Himalayan sub-brand. It featured a large battery element where a typical fuel tank and engine would go and powered a mid-mounted electric motor that propels the rear wire-spoke wheels shod with off-road tyres.
    Himalayan Electric 2.0
The formula with new Himalayan Electric concept showcased at EICMA 2024 is the same as last year. However, it now features iterative updates making it a better product technologically than last year’s concept. It has to be noted that there might be a couple of iterations in the future to reach production phase.
Himalayan Electric 2.0 is visually more related to Himalayan 450 on sale, unlike the too futuristic looking HIM-E Concept showcased last year. The seat is not shaped like a fuel tank this time around and lends a non-conventional appeal. Below the flat-ish seat, we have the massive battery pack and a mid-mounted motor.
    Himalayan Electric 2.0
    What are the changes?
Tank brace for jerrycans and other accessories is redesigned and is finished in White, as opposed to last year’s Red. Headlights are LEDs and USD front forks are finished in a Gold shade. Tall windscreen, round ORVMs, tall seat height, high ground clearance, and relatively clean tail section are notable elements.
Notably, Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric 2.0 concept has an electronically controlled suspension setup, single disc brake at either end, Gold colour wire-spoke rims, a purposeful design and a lot of road presence. As per the company, the battery and motor on this concept are all new. More

Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycles – Flying Flea C6 and Scrambler EV

Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycles – Flying Flea S6 and C6More details about Royal Enfield FF.C6 like range, battery capacity, charging time, etc. will be revealed in the coming days
At the 2024 EICMA, Royal Enfield took the wraps off its first-ever electric motorcycle named Flying Flea FF-C6. The Flying Flea name also represents the new range of electric motorcycles that will be using the same platform. Along with the classic-styled FF.C6, Royal Enfield also previewed the scrambler-style FF.S6. Both electric motorcycles are expected to be launched in early 2026.
Royal Enfield first electric motorcycle – Flying Flea FF.C6
While the electric space is entirely new for Royal Enfield, the brand maintains a strong connection with its lineage. For its first electric motorcycle FF.C6, Royal Enfield has derived inspiration from the Flying Flea motorcycle used during the World War II era. The legendary Flying Flea motorcycle was known for its simple design, robust performance and agile handling. All these characteristics have now been incorporated into the electrified version, the FF.C6.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 – Single Seat
Royal Enfield has ensured that people who choose sustainable products don’t have to compromise with styling. That’s why the Flying Flea FF.C6 electric motorcycle has a simple, yet captivating design. A retro profile is evident with the circular headlamp and rear-view mirrors. The motorcycle has a circular TFT dashboard as well. While the presented model has a rider-only seat, a pillion seat and other supporting paraphernalia will be made available as an accessory.
    Exclusive Flying Flea logo
For its Flying Flea range of motorcycles, Royal Enfield will be using an entirely new logo. Highlighting the agile characteristics of these bikes and their connection with their predecessor, the logo has the shape of a parachute. A lightning element can also be seen, which is indicative of fresh new ideas and the motorcycle’s electric underpinnings. Lettering used on the logo includes ‘Flying Flea’ on the top and ‘Royal Enfield’ at the bottom.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 – Dual Seat
World’s only production motorcycle with Girder forks
One of the standout features include the robust-looking Girder forks. These were quite popular during the 30s and 40s. As of now, Flying Flea FF.C6 will be the only production motorcycle in the world to get Girder forks. In addition to their attractive styling, the Girder forks also ensure a unique riding experience.
    Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6
Forged aluminium frame and magnesium battery case
Another attractive feature is the forged aluminium frame. Its curvy design enhances the bike’s retro flavour. The aluminium frame is strong and lightweight, ensuring the best of both worlds for an electric motorcycle. When looking at the bike, one is also captivated by the wind-shaped profile of the battery case. The fins have a curvy profile, something that can channel air in an optimized manner. Weight is significantly reduced with the use of magnesium for the battery case. Magnesium also offers good thermal conductivity, which means improved cooling for the battery pack.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 Scrambler EV
    Patented technologies
Royal Enfield has invested a lot of time and effort in the development of its first electric motorcycle. A number of advanced technologies are being used, with many submitted for patents. 28 patents have been submitted in the last 6 months alone. Royal Enfield has developed its own in-house software for the electric bike, so that changes and updates can be incorporated in a hassle-free manner. The bike also uses a tailor-made chip.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 Scrambler EV – Features
An in-house developed central Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) seamlessly integrates all the various physical and digital components. The VCU supports more than 200,000 ride mode combinations to suit the varying needs and preferences of riders. Flying Flea FF.C6 will get OTA updates and a comprehensive range of connectivity features. Other key features include traction control, cornering ABS and lean angle sensing ABS. The bike has disc brakes at both ends.
    Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6

Enthusiasts were expecting some specs to be revealed during the launch of Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle. But key specs like range, battery chemistry and capacity, charging time, etc, have not been revealed. However, it would be safe to assume a range of over 100 km.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea Scrambler FF.S6 revealed
Along with the FF.C6 unveil, Royal Enfield has also previewed the Scrambler version, FF.S6. It gets some distinctive features such as enduro-inspired one-piece long seat, USD forks and aluminium spoke wheels. The Scrambler version has 60% more travel suspension. It will have faster acceleration in comparison to the FF.C6. More

Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Debuts Today – Flying Flea Could Be The Name

Royal Enfield EV Teaser – Flying FleaWith a reference to its Flying Flea motorcycle from World War II era, Royal Enfield EV teaser with parachute might be hinting the name
With electric mobility taking more prominence in India, many manufacturers have been testing out the waters. Among these manufacturers is Royal Enfield, which is set to debut a new electric motorcycle on November 4th. As teased by the company, we will witness the first ever electric motorcycle from Royal Enfield.
In the teaser, we can see a retro motorcycle air-dropped from the sky with a parachute strapped on. This could be a historical reference to Royal Enfield’s Flying Flea, which was used by British Paratroopers during World War II. But will the motorcycle be called Flying Flea? Let’s take a look at the possibilities.
    Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Teaser
    Royal Enfield EV Teaser
Iconic motorcycle manufacturer, Royal Enfield, has a rich heritage and played a crucial role in British soldier’s mobility in the battlefield. The company leans on its heritage whenever possible and has drawn multiple references from the past. With their upcoming electric bike, Royal Enfield seems to be doing the same.
When Royal Enfield teased their first ever electric motorcycle, to be debuted on 4th November, it looked like it was a clear reference to Flying Flea from the past. Refreshing your memory, Royal Enfield Flying Flea is a 125cc single-cylinder 2-stroke motorcycle. It was used by British Paratroopers during World War II.
    Royal Enfield Flying Flea
Flying Flea was designed to be dropped from aeroplanes into the battlefield with the help of parachutes. This motorcycle weighed only 56 kg, making it apt for airdrop exercises. This motorcycle had a special frame around it, for the parachute. A model which was based on a German DKW ( irony!).
Speculation is that Royal Enfield might use Flying Flea name with their upcoming electric motorcycle. That may be a reason why the company teased their upcoming EV with a parachute, which might be a hint as to what this motorcycle could be named.
    Royal Enfield Flying Flea
    What to expect?
Royal Enfield has trademarked the name Flying Flea in markets like Europe. Even in India, Flying Flea name is registered by its parent company Eicher Motors Limited. This means Royal Enfield’s upcoming electric motorcycle that goes by Electrik 01Concept, can be named Flying Flea, upon launch.
It has a retro design with a unique frame design that engulfs the bike’s batteries. There is a fuel tank-like element for aesthetics with a teardrop design. Front forks are of Girder type and might make it to production as well. Performance might be in line with other 350cc bikes from Royal Enfield. Range could be around 150 km on a single charge.
