Pulled-back, low-set handlebar is neatly placed without any clutter to allow optimal handling for the user. Ride ergonomics will be similar to that of Apache RR310, with slightly rear-set foot pegs.In terms of choice of colours, BMW G310RR is expected to get two options. One of these will be the tri-shade Factory colour of White, Blue and Red. The other option could be metallic black shade, which is offered with S1000RR. Apache RR310 comes with multiple ride modes that have varying power and torque output. For peak performance, users can engage the Sport or Track ride mode. In these modes, the engine generates 34 PS of max power at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm of peak torque at 7,700 rpm. In Rain and Urban mode, performance numbers are reduced to 25.8 PS and 25 Nm to ensure optimal safety.BMW G310RR top speed and acceleration are likely to be similar to that of RR310. The latter takes 7.17 seconds to reach 0-100 kmph and has a top speed of 160 kmph. BMW G310RR will have Trellis frame with USD forks at front and monoshock rear suspension. Braking duties are performed by 300 mm and 240 mm disc at front and rear, respectively. As seen in the teasers, the bike has ByBre brake callipers. The German motorcycle manufacturer has retro legacy motorcycles like R nineT, off-roaders under GS series, corner-carving track machines under RR, XR and S series, sport-tourers under K series, maxi scooters under C series and more. You name it, they have it.What about budget entry-level motorcycles? Well, they’ve got that covered too. To expand their motorcycle envelope and cater to a wider range of audiences across a wider price spectrum, BMW partnered up with TVS Motors. Together, they developed a potent 313cc single-cylinder engine and platform on which both manufacturers have based their motorcycles. 2 such motorcycles by BMW are G 310 R and G 310 GS. They will launch a new one later this month called G 310 RR, more on that later.2023 BMW G 310 R New ColoursKicking things off with the street naked G 310 R, it used to come with two shades namely, Cyanite Blue Metallic and Limestone Metallic. But the German motorcycle manufacturer has discontinued both these colour options. Replacing the Cyanite Blue Metallic, we have Passion Racing Red. And replacing Limestone Metallic, we have Sport Polar White / Racing Blue Metallic.Red comes off as the more striking of the two. It gets a red trellis frame, mostly red fuel tank, red front mudguard and red wheels. BMW has added a touch of white to the headlight cowl and ‘R’ livery on the fuel tank. It gets a blacked-out engine bay, engine guard and gets the typical BMW gold front forks. Sport Polar White / Racing Blue Metallic is the subtler of the two. It also gets a red trellis frame and red wheels. But the splash of red on Passion Racing Red is replaced by white and the white on that model is replaced with metallic blue. The R livery is finished in red though.2023 BMW G 310 R New Colour LaunchBMW G 310 GS New Paint SchemesBMW has added a new version of its G 310 GS namely Basic Cosimic Black 3 in place of Polar White that it used to get before. It is the subtlest of the 3 new colour shades BMW G 310 GS received. It has a black trellis frame, a gloss black finish on top of the fuel tank and top of the fairing, and black wheels. Basically, everything else is black too except for the silver finish on the rear subframe body panels and fairing extensions covering the gold front USD forks.2023 BMW G 310 GS New Colour LaunchSport Polar White / Racing Blue Metallic is another style and it replaces the Triple Black option. It gets a trellis frame finished in red, top of the tank and fairing is now blue with the rest of the tank finished in white. Other elements remain similar to Basic Cosimic Black 3.Replacing Cyanite Blue Metallic is Rallye Kalamata Metallic Matt. It also gets a red trellis frame, but the top of the fuel tank and fairing now gets a dark golden shade that looks very subtle. Earlier teasers posted by the company indicated that the bike will be getting fully-adjustable suspension setup. But the teaser shared today, misses out on adjustable front suspension. Is BMW planning on offering multiple variants? One with adjustable suspension and one without?Adjustable suspension option helps rider to tune the motorcycle in a more friendly manner. Based on riding style and terrain, the user will be able to adjust the firmness and flexibility of the suspension system.BMW G310RR adjustable suspension?Earlier teaser revealed adjustable knobs on fork tops, which are similar to the ones offered with Built to order (BTO) version of TVS Apache RR310. It is possible that other features too that are offered with RR310 BTO may be available as standard with G310RR. This will work as a means of differentiation and justify G310RR’s premium profile and pricing.Suspension is likely to be the same as that used with Apache RR310 BTO. For example, the Dynamic Kit comprises fully-adjustable KYB front suspension. It has 15mm of preload adjustability and 20 sets of damping. Rear monoshock KYB suspension is also fully adjustable with 10 steps of preload adjustment and 20 sets of damping. Stiffness can be adjusted, as per track requirements for optimal race experience.[embedded content][embedded content]Apache RR310 Dynamic Kit also comprises brass coated drive chain. It enhances the bike’s sporty profile and also works as an anti-rust agent. In Race Kit of RR310, equipment list includes lower set handlebars that boost performance on the race track. However, it is not yet known if all these features will be introduced with G310RR as standard.Foot pegs onboard G310RR appear to be the same as those offered with stock version of RR310. Race Kit of RR310 has race designed foot pegs that offer improved grip and stability during cornering. It also has raised footrest assembly that allows faster speeds on corners and higher lean angle. In Urban and Rain mode, performance drops to 25.8 PS and 25 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. RR310 top speed is 160 kmph and it can reach 0-100 kmph in 7.17 seconds.2022 BMW G 310 RR – RenderAs compared to Apache RR310 that has Michelin Road 5 tyres, BMW has chosen to stick with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres for G310RR. Another difference is conventional disc brakes, as compared to petal discs used with Apache RR310. It will be based on the same 313cc engine and platform that currently underpins G 310 R naked street fighter and G 310 GS adventure tourer. Hence, it has been predicted that the upcoming G 310 RR will borrow some inspiration from TVS Apache RR 310.BMW G 310 RR Fully Faired – RenderBased on official teasers, a digital illustration of the upcoming BMW G 310 RR has been created. As expected, the overall silhouette of the fully-faired sports bike by the German marque is starkly similar to its Indian cousin. Although there are a few subtle variations to distinguish between the two models.In this rendition, the designer has employed more cuts and creases around the headlight assembly, something that isn’t seen in Apache. The twin-pod headlight itself appears to be a different unit from the one seen in the flagship TVS. The rendered bike seen in this image is wrapped under the traditional BMW HP-livery with red and blue accents over a white base. Reports have mentioned that there will be another all-black colour option on offer with G 310 RR. The visor shown on this Bavarian derivative of sports bike is slightly different from the one seen in Apache RR 310 although the fuel tank seen in this digital illustration is almost identical to the latter.Other prominent visual highlights seen in this digital rendition are split-style seats with a raised tail section, 5-spoke alloy wheels with black rims, a race-spec red trellis frame and a stubby side-on exhaust canister. Taillight assembly also appears to be slightly different from the one offered in Apache.Expected Mechanical SpecsCycle parts of the upcoming Beemer are expected to be mostly similar to Apache RR 310 barring a few variations. For instance, BMW has used a conventional front disc brake in G 310 RR instead of the petal-shaped rotors seen in Apache.
