    Honda CB300R De-Listed From Website – Discontinued?

Honda CB300RHonda Motorcycles and Scooters India has a vast portfolio in the country. At the premium end of this portfolio within the single-cylinder offerings, we had CB300R, a neo retro motorcycle. CB300R was first launched all the way back in February 2019, marking a new journey for CB lineup in India.
Fast-forwarding to October 2025, Honda seems to be pulling the plug on this motorcycle. It was recently de-listed from the company’s official website suggesting a discontinuation. Will there be an updated version of CB300R? Or was it the last of premium 300cc single-cylinder offerings from Honda? Let’s take a closer look.
    Honda CB300R
    Honda CB300R Discontinued
CB300R from Honda has had quite a journey in India. It was first launched in February 2019 for a price tag of Rs 2.41 lakh (Ex-sh) via the CKD route. It was discontinued in July 2020 and a new BS6 model was awaited. It was then re-launched in India in January 2022 with more localised components and a few updates for a price tag of Rs 2.77 lakh (Ex-sh).
In October 2023, Honda slashed the prices of CB300R to Rs 2.4 lakh (Ex-sh), down by Rs 37k, making it more appealing to buyers. Last month, the GST 2.0 revisions made CB300R even more appealing by bringing the price down to Rs 2.19 lakh (Ex-sh), down by as much as Rs 21k.
    Honda CB300R
Despite the price revisions, CB300R remained as one of the company’s least-selling vehicles. Which could have led to a potential discontinuation of CB300R in October 2025. The main strength of CB300R was its weight. Or the lack thereof. It weighed 146 kg, while packing around 32 PS of peak power from its 286cc single-cyl liquid-cooled engine.
    Will it make a comeback?
We sure hope so, given the seesaw moments CB300R has had in our market. With latest GST 2.0 revisions benefitting motorcycles under 350cc, there is huge potential if Honda packages CB300R better. The model discontinued (potentially), lacked a modern TFT instrumentation with Bluetooth and Navigation, Type-C ports and other features.
    New Honda Roadster Patented
There is a new neo-retro premium motorcycle has been patented in India and we wish it is the next CB300R packed with premium features. USD telescopic front forks, disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, fat and sticky tyres, a new TFT screen with a host of features, and more, could be part of the package. More

2026 Toyota Hilux Debuts – Petrol, Diesel, Hybrid, Electric, Hydrogen

2026 Toyota Hilux HybridToyota has officially unveiled the ninth-generation Hilux, marking a major transformation for the legendary pickup as it enters the era of electrified mobility. The all-new Hilux brings a host of firsts, including battery electric (BEV) and hydrogen fuel cell (FCEV) versions — alongside 48V hybrid, diesel, and petrol powertrains — embodying Toyota’s multi-path strategy to meet diverse customer and market needs.
    Hilux Enters an Electrified Era
The new generation Hilux has been developed under Toyota’s philosophy that different regions and customer requirements demand multiple powertrain options rather than a single solution. The lineup now includes a fully electric Hilux BEV, a Hybrid 48V variant, and continued internal combustion choices for select markets, making it the most versatile Hilux ever produced.
    2026 Toyota Hilux BEV
With this expansion, Hilux will become the Toyota model with the widest range of powertrains in its global portfolio — a testament to its evolution from a rugged workhorse to a modern, sustainable utility vehicle.
    Design – Tough Yet Agile
The 2026 Hilux adopts a new “Tough and Agile” design theme. The front fascia gets a bold new look with slimmer headlamps, a horizontal bar carrying the TOYOTA name, and a redesigned bumper. The electric version features a closed-off front grille for aerodynamic efficiency and unique alloy wheels. A new rear deck step and reprofiled side steps enhance practicality, while Hilux now comes exclusively in the Double Cab body style based on customer preference.
    2026 Toyota Hilux BEV
Inside, the cabin has been redesigned for greater comfort and modern appeal, drawing inspiration from the new Toyota Land Cruiser. The dashboard features a 12.3-inch customizable driver display and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, with grouped off-road controls and a new shift-by-wire selector in the BEV variant.
    2026 Toyota Hilux BEV
Connectivity features include wireless smartphone charging, rear USB ports, and remote vehicle access via the MyToyota app, which offers fleet managers the ability to track multiple vehicles, monitor charging and fuel levels, and access driving analytics.
    2026 Toyota Hilux BEV
    Improved Safety and Handling
For the first time, the Hilux adopts electric power steering, providing more precision and ease of manoeuvrability. The Toyota T-Mate suite of safety and driver-assistance technologies has also been upgraded, now offering features such as Proactive Driving Assist, Low Speed Acceleration Suppression, and Emergency Driving Stop System. Additional features include Blind Spot Monitor, Safe Exit Assist, and a Driver Monitor Camera. Over-the-air (OTA) software updates will keep the system current throughout the vehicle’s lifespan.
    2026 Toyota Hilux BEV
2026 Toyota Hilux BEV – The First Fully Electric Hilux
The introduction of the Hilux BEV marks a historic shift for the pickup. Powered by a 59.2 kWh lithium-ion battery and dual e-axles, the electric Hilux delivers permanent all-wheel drive with 205 Nm of torque at the front and 268.6 Nm at the rear.
    2026 Toyota Hilux Hybrid
Preliminary figures suggest a payload capacity of 715 kg, towing capacity of 1,600 kg, and an estimated driving range of 240 km (WLTP). Toyota claims best-in-class charging performance, while off-road capability remains uncompromised thanks to body-on-frame construction, battery protection measures, and the same wading depth as the diesel model. A Multi-Terrain Select system optimizes traction across different surfaces, simulating low-range torque distribution similar to a conventional 4×4.
    2026 Toyota Hilux BEV
Hilux Hybrid 48V – The Core Model for 2026
Toyota’s 48V Hybrid system — already introduced in 2025 — will become the core powertrain option for the new generation. Production is scheduled to begin in spring 2026. The setup combines a 2.8-litre diesel engine with a 48V lithium-ion battery, electric motor-generator, and DC-DC converter, delivering smoother, quieter operation and improved fuel economy.
    2026 Toyota Hilux
The system also retains Hilux’s renowned capability — including 1-tonne payload and 3.5-tonne towing capacity — while maintaining its 700 mm wading depth. Off-road performance is enhanced with Multi-Terrain Select, Multi-Terrain Monitor, and Panoramic View Monitor for improved control in rough conditions.
Internal Combustion Variants for Select Markets
Toyota will continue offering 2.8-litre diesel and 2.7-litre petrol versions for Eastern European markets, ensuring the model remains accessible to customers in regions where diesel remains a necessity. India is likely to get these engine options at the time of launch sometime next year.
    2026 Toyota Hilux
Fuel Cell Hilux – Arriving in 2028
Toyota has also confirmed that a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) version of the Hilux will go into production by 2028. This upcoming variant will combine zero-emission performance with long range and rapid refuelling capabilities, furthering Toyota’s hydrogen ecosystem development across Europe.
With the ninth-generation Hilux, Toyota blends its legendary strength, reliability, and off-road capability with cutting-edge electrification and connectivity. By offering electric, hybrid, and hydrogen powertrains alongside proven ICE options, the new Hilux ensures that it continues to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving global market — all while staying true to its “Invincible” DNA. India’s First True 7-Seater Electric SUV
There are 5-seater electric SUVs and a 7-seater electric crossover MPV on sale in India. Mahindra is staying ahead of the curve with XEV 9S as it is the first mainstream automaker in India to offer a 7-seater electric SUV. A combination which rivals have not cracked yet, Mahindra has.
    Mahindra XEV 9S
A True Blue SUV, Built the Mahindra Way – Rugged, Refined, and Ready
After experiencing BE 6 and XEV 9e, we are pretty sure that Mahindra XEV 9S will be nothing less than a true blue SUV. Mahindra’s rugged SUV DNA has trickled down from its decades of impeccable experience. It will encompass the essence of being an SUV with sophisticated ride quality and exceptional rough-road ability.
    Mahindra XEV 9S
Luxury, Tech and Performance – All in One
Mahindra XEV 9S will usher in a new era of electric mobility as it is a paradigm shift in features and equipment offered by any mainstream OEM in India. It will build on the strengths of XEV 9e, which has already established itself as a dominant electric SUV. Triple 12.3-inch screen dashboard, industry-leading 1,400W 16-speaker Harman Kardon system, sophisticated ambient lighting, exquisite materials and luxurious upholstery all make for a stellar package.
Features like powered front seats with driver seat memory function, ventilated front seats, multi-zone climate control, dedicated AC vents for 2nd and 3rd row seating, Level-2 ADAS, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Snapdragon’s extreme computing power, comprehensive OTA updates and connected tech will be a part of Mahindra XEV 9S.
    Mahindra INGLO Architecture
Electric Origin SUV based on INGLO platform – Comfort for all!
Unlike rival eSUVs that are mostly derived EVs with technological prowess of the past, Mahindra XEV 9S is based on born electric INGLO platform which is tech-forward and ready for the future. This platform promises sophisticated ride quality with its 5-link independent rear suspension with frequency dependent damping.
Also, INGLO based vehicles have been offered with RWD layout as standard, which will be true with XEV 9S as well. INGLO platform is born electric and it offers a flat floor without any transmission tunnel. The skateboard platform of INGLO architecture ensures better space management ensuring your family travels in utmost comfort.
Adding to overall comfort is the fact that Mahindra XEV 9S will come with sliding 2nd row seats. This allows flexibility for 2nd row occupants to slide back for maximum comfort or carve out more knee room for 3rd row occupants. Adding versatility is folding 3rd row seats, which will unlock a cavernous boot space.
    Mahindra XEV 9e Frunk
    Full Sized Usable Frunk
Unlike rival brands that offer a frunk as an after-though, the frunk on Mahindra XEV 9S is inviting. Bonnet gets assisted pneumatic struts for a premium experience and it opens up to a full-sized frunk and a curated experience. These elements make XEV 9S’s frunk genuinely useful, further adding versatility to the overall package.
    Mahindra XEV 9S
    Dual-Pane Openable Panoramic Sunroof
Sunroof has emerged as an aspirational feature for Indian SUV buyers. In BE 6 and XEV 9e, Mahindra offered a fixed glass roof. With Mahindra XEV 9S, the company will offer a dual-pane panoramic sunroof that can open to let fresh air inside the cabin.

30,000 Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs sold
With the Mahindra XEV 9S, the brand is once again pushing boundaries — combining space, technology, and performance in a way that’s unmistakably Mahindra. Built on the powerful INGLO platform and backed by the trust of over 30,000 Mahindra eSUVs already on Indian roads, the XEV 9S is not just an SUV — it’s the next milestone in India’s electric journey. VinFast Limo Green 7s Electric MPV Spied Testing In India – Carens Clavis EV Rival

VinFast Limo Green 7s Electric MPV SpiedVietnamese EV maker VinFast seems to be accelerating its plans for the Indian market. After filing design patents earlier this year, its upcoming Limo Green 7-seater electric MPV has now been spotted testing on Indian roads for the very first time. These latest spy shots, captured by automotive enthusiast Sandeep, reveal a fully camouflaged test mule, hinting that India could be one of the key markets for this new electric people mover.
    First-ever sighting in India
The heavily camouflaged prototype closely resembles the design of the VinFast Limo Green, which was recently launched in Vietnam. The test mule features the same tall, upright stance, distinctive vertical tail lamps, and a large glasshouse — elements clearly visible despite the camouflage. The alloy wheel design and the tailgate profile appear similar to the model seen in the earlier patent filings, further confirming its identity.
VinFast Limo Green 7s Electric MPV Spied
From the side, the vehicle’s silhouette suggests a three-row seating layout, and the upright proportions confirm that it will prioritize cabin space and practicality. The test mule also features a digital instrument cluster visible through the windshield, confirming that the model is in an advanced stage of testing.
    Built for Indian roads
The Limo Green measures around 4.74 meters in length with a 2,840 mm wheelbase. Ground clearance is expected to be around 170 mm, well-suited for Indian road conditions.
VinFast Limo Green 7s Electric MPV Spied
Under the skin, the Limo Green is powered by a 60.1 kWh battery pack paired with a 201 bhp electric motor, producing 280 Nm of torque. It’s a front-wheel-drive setup, offering a certified range of around 450 km (NEDC). Fast charging from 10–70% is said to take just 30 minutes.
VinFast Limo Green 7s Electric MPV Spied
    Interior and features
In Vietnam, the Limo Green features a clean, minimalist cabin with a 10.1-inch infotainment display, leatherette upholstery, 360-degree camera, and a floating centre console. The model will likely bring similar equipment to India, with three-row seating for seven occupants.
If launched in India, the VinFast Limo Green would become one of the few all-electric 7-seater MPVs, joining the likes of the BYD eMAX 7 and the Kia Carens Clavis EV. Given its size and feature set, it could also appeal to both premium family buyers and fleet operators seeking a spacious, eco-friendly people carrier.
VinFast Limo Green 7s Electric MPV Spied
    Made in Tamil Nadu
VinFast has already inaugurated its Toothukudi facility in Tamil Nadu, the company’s first manufacturing plant outside Vietnam. The new facility will support local production and exports, and the Limo Green could very well be one of the first models assembled there.
In Vietnam, the Limo Green is priced at around VND 749 million (approx. Rs 25 lakh), inclusive of a 7-year/1.6 lakh km warranty. If priced competitively in India, the model could be a strong addition to the growing electric MPV segment. With local testing now underway, expect the VinFast Limo Green to make its Indian debut sometime next year, strengthening the brand’s portfolio alongside the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs. More

2026 Hero Xtreme 125R Launch Price Rs 1.04 Lakh – Dual ABS, Ride Modes, Cruise Control

2026 Hero Xtreme 125R Reach Showrooms – Shahrukh AkhtarDual-channel ABS with Xtreme 125R aligns with the broader plan to enhance safety for two-wheeler riders
India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, is keen on strengthening its portfolio beyond the 100cc segment. Towards that end, Hero is working on multiple new products including new electric two-wheelers. Another strategy that seems to be delivering results is the introduction of premium features with existing bikes and scooters. Most recent example is the introduction of dual-channel ABS with the Xtreme 125R. Let’s check out the details.
    2026 Hero Xtreme 125R – Dual-channel ABS
As may be recalled, Hero Xtreme 125R was launched last year at the Hero World 2024 event. At that time, the bike was equipped with single-channel ABS. It was the top variant that had the ABS, priced at Rs 99,500. Hero Xtreme 125R is positioned as a rival to the likes of Honda CB125 Hornet, TVS Raider and Bajaj Pulsar N125.
2026 Hero Xtreme 125R Reach Showrooms
To enhance overall value for consumers and improve safety, Hero has now introduced dual-channel ABS with Xtreme 125R. This is essentially an optional upgrade, available with the top variant. The single-channel Xtreme 125R will continue to be on sale alongside the dual-channel ABS variant. Customers can also choose the base variant, which does not have any ABS. It has a combined braking system (CBS) instead.
As of now, single-channel ABS is mandatory only for bikes of more than 125cc displacement. For bikes up to 125cc, it is up to the manufacturer to decide if they want to offer CBS, single-channel ABS or dual-channel ABS. With the Xtreme 125R getting the option of dual-channel ABS, a similar move could be possible with rival offerings. TVS Raider and Honda CB125 Hornet are equipped with single-channel ABS. Bajaj Pulsar N125 comes with CBS.
2026 Hero Xtreme 125R Reach Showrooms
    Cruise control, riding modes
Xtreme 125R has also been updated with Electronic Throttle Body (ETB or ride-by-wire throttle), 3 ride modes (Eco, Road and Power) and cruise control. With these new features, users can expect a better overall experience with the bike. In other updates, the dual-channel Xtreme 125R gets three exclusive colour options – Black Pearl Red, Black Matshadow Grey and Black Leaf Green. These have distinctive graphics as well in comparison to the single-channel ABS and CBS variants.
Hero Xtreme 125R gets power from a 124.7 cc, air-cooled engine that generates 11.4 bhp and 10.5 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed, constant mesh gearbox. The engine is designed to optimize both performance and fuel efficiency. The bike can achieve 0 to 60 km/h in just 5.9 seconds, which is claimed to be the fastest in the 125cc segment. Xtreme 125R offers a mileage of 66 km/l, which is pretty impressive for a 125cc bike.
Hero Xtreme 125R dual-channel ABS variant is available at a starting price of Rs 1.04 lakh. It is around Rs 12,000 costlier than the single-channel ABS variant that is priced at Rs 92,500. The base variant with CBS is priced at Rs 89,000. More

New Hero SplendorRetail two wheeler sales crossed the 31 lakh unit mark in Oct 2025, boosted by festive demand and reforms in GST tax structure – Ola Electric was the only one in red
India’s two-wheeler industry recorded a strong performance in October 2025. Sales in the two-wheelers were at lifetime highs. The segment has posted improved sales thanks to better rural sentiment, an upward surge in liquidity, while there was a positive impact thanks to new GST reforms. Company dealerships cited the past month as being the best festive season in recent memory, with improved demand both for commuter bikes and scooters, and renewed interest in the EV segment.
Two Wheeler Retail Sales Oct 2025
The two wheeler segment accounted for retail sales of 31,49,846 units in Oct 2025. This was a 51.76% YoY growth from 27,75,578 units in Oct 2024. MoM sales saw an even more exciting surge by 144.60% when compared to 12,87,735 units sold in Sept 2025. It was also on a YTD basis that the two wheeler segment remained in the positive. Buyer could be awaiting the next gen Chetak that is currently on its test rounds and even as it was under camouflage, a series of design and feature updates are expected.
Royal Enfield also reported a strong performance last month, with sales rising to 1,44,615 units, up from 98,163 units in the same period last year. Similarly, Suzuki Motorcycle recorded healthy growth, with retail sales increasing to 1,35,715 units compared to 1,07,107 units a year ago.

Ola Electric sales declined to 16,036 units while in Oct 2024 it had been at the top of electric two wheeler sales charts with 41,843 unit sales.
The sales list also included Greaves Electric (Ampere EV) with 7,629 unit sales over 3,990 unit sales in the same month last year. Classic Legends followed with 6,922 units while Piaggio sales also ended positively at 3,666 units. There were others on this list that added 16,252 units to total retail sales, up from 13,587 units on a YoY basis. More
