The just launched Baja Orange is the 5th colour in Speed T4’s palette.

    Triumph Speed T4 Baja Orange
According to Triumph, this is the first time a 400cc segment motorcycle has been offered with a colourway like Baja Orange. The way it has been executed on Speed T4, this Baja Orange shade sort of reminds us of Baja Orange colour option offered with Scrambler 1200. Similar Baja Orange in a matte shade was offered on Street Triple 765R as well.
With the new Speed T4 Baja Orange colourway, Triumph aims to offer more road presence that exudes a warm appeal. It continues to get brushed steel finish on its exhaust unit, a Speed T4 badge in 3D, pinstriping on alloy wheels and more. This colourway is inspired from raw and sun-soaked landscapes of Baja desert in California.

KTM 390 Duke and Triumph 400 Bikes Get 10-Year Warranty – Details

KTM 390 Duke and Triumph 400 Bikes Get 10-Year WarrantyWith multiple 2-wheeler brands offering longer warranties, this strategy appears to be crucial for enhancing customer satisfaction and peace of mind
Sub-500cc KTM and Triumph bikes are mostly available with the combo of 2-year standard warranty and 3-year extended warranty. As part of a special scheme, select KTM and Triumph bikes are now getting warranty coverage of 10 years. Eligible bikes include the KTM 390 Duke and Triumph Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X and Speed T4. This longer warranty scheme is valid till 30th June 2025. Let’s check out the details.
KTM 390 Duke gets 10-year warranty
An extended 10-year warranty is now available with the KTM 390 Duke. As mentioned earlier, this special warranty offer is valid till 30th June. The icing on the cake is that this extended warranty for 390 Duke is being offered at no extra cost. Moreover, the 10-year warranty on KTM 390 Duke will be transferable.
    KTM 390 Duke
In case the bike is sold, subsequent owners can continue to enjoy the benefits of the extended warranty. However, users must fulfil all the terms and conditions of the warranty. With a transferable 10-year warranty at no extra cost, KTM 390 Duke appears to have gained an edge over its rivals.
For context, Aprilia recently increased the warranty on Tuono 457 to 4 year / 48,000 km. This is still less than 390 Duke’s 10-year warranty. Moreover, 390 Duke is available at a more accessible price point in comparison to the Tuono 457. A longer 10-year warranty has multiple benefits for users.
    KTM 390 Duke
For example, expenses related to unexpected repairs can be avoided. Users can be assured of availability of replacement parts. With the warranty being transferrable, the 390 Duke can now command a higher resale value. Finding buyers will also become easier. An extended warranty also reflects the brand’s confidence in the quality of its products.
    Triumph 400cc motorcycles – 5-year standard + 5-year extended warranty
Extended warranty of 10 years for Triumph 400cc bikes is available till 30th June 2025. Bikes eligible for this special offer include the TR Series bikes like Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X and Speed T4. All three bikes share the same platform, featuring a perimeter frame with a bolt-on subframe.
    2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X
43 mm USD forks at front and a gas-charged monoshock rear suspension is common. The only difference is that Scrambler 400 X has longer travel in comparison to Speed 400 and Speed T4. Braking setup comprises 300 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes, with dual-channel ABS. Scrambler 400 X has switchable rear ABS for off-road use. While Speed 400 and Speed T4 have 17-inch wheels at both ends, the Scrambler 400 X utilises 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combo.
All three bikes use the 398.15cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. For a sporty ride experience, the engine on the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X is tuned to deliver 40 PS and 37.5 Nm. The Speed T4, focused on a relaxed riding experience, is tuned to deliver 31 PS and 36 Nm. It is the most affordable in Triumph TR series, starting at Rs 1.99 lakh.

India-Made Triumph Scrambler T4 Spied Testing Abroad

    Triumph Scrambler T4
Triumph Motorcycles is about to launch new versions of its Scrambler 400X to expand the lineup. Yes, we will see the launch of a more off-road version of this motorcycle soon, in the form of Triumph Scrambler 400XC. But we have not forgotten the Scrambler T4 (name not confirmed) which was spied testing in India once.
This motorcycle is speculated to be a more affordable version of Scrambler 400X in the same way Speed T4 is an affordable version of Speed 400. After that one appearance in India, this motorcycle has been spied testing again abroad. Let’s take a look at what it has to offer and what we should expect from this upcoming motorcycle.
    Triumph Scrambler T4
    Triumph Scrambler T4 Spied Testing
Considering Triumph’s past naming schemes, one can speculate that this motorcycle might not be called Scrambler T4. At least in global markets. Triumph could advertise this motorcycle as a Street Scrambler and name it Street Scrambler 400 or Scrambler 400 RS. This falls in line with what Triumph has done in the past with its twin-cylinder classic motorcycle range.
However, we can’t ignore the possibility of this being called Scrambler T4 because Speed T4 exists and this follows a similar ethos of cutting down on equipment and premium quotient. On this recent test mule, we can see some testing equipment strapped on its back and it does not feature any camouflage.
    Triumph Scrambler T4
We can see a new side body panel that establishes a unique appearance. Also striking unique appearance is the new shorter windscreen and USD forks have been finished in a non-flashy Black shade. Triumph Scrambler T4 misses out on split seat design and gets a single-piece unit. Rubber tank pads are missing too.
Triumph Scrambler T4 Spied In India
    What to expect?
Rear section is completely new and it features simpler tail lights and rear pillion grabrail. Handlebar is simpler too and it misses out on brace pads. Along with that, Triumph has also removed knuckle guards from the equation. Triumph Scrambler T4 continues to get the same semi-digital instrument cluster as Scrambler 400X.
    Triumph Scrambler T4
Powering this vehicle might be the same engine as Speed T4, which is downtuned and equipped with less premium hardware when compared to Speed 400. It might feature a manual throttle and a lower state of tune generating around 30.6 bhp of peak power at 7,000 RPM and 36 Nm of torque at 5,000 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X Launched – New Colour, Slight Price Revision

    2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X
Triumph’s 400 lineup has been gaining more and more popularity in the Indian market. The company is currently one of the notable players in the high-performance single-cylinder 350cc to 450cc motorcycle range. For 2025, Triumph has just updated the Scrambler 400X which now gets a new shade of Red along with a slight price revision. Let’s take a closer look.
    2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X Launched
With the launch of Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X in India, Triumph Motorcycles entered a new price bracket that it never operated in before. With a strong value for money quotient, Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X quickly emerged as a desirable retro-styled motorcycle with a lot more performance than the popular 350cc offerings from Royal Enfield.
The most expensive offering in the 400 range by Triumph, is Scrambler 400X. This motorcycle has been updated for MY25 version with a new colourway. Called Lava Red Satin, this new colourway looks a lot more appealing and premium. It replaces the current Volcanic Red and Phantom Black colourway.
While it looks the same as images published by Triumph’s social media handles, it looks like it will get a matte finish. Hence the word Satin in its name. 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X gets a slight price hike too. It is now priced at Rs 2.67 lakh (Ex-sh), which is a price increment of Rs 758 (Ex-sh).
    2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X
    Any other changes?
Other colourways offered with Scrambler 400X are carried over. These include Matt Khaki Green / Fusion White, Pearl Metallic White / Phantom Black and Phantom Black / Silver Ice. Other than the new colour and revised price tag, there don’t seem to be any other changes with 2025 Scrambler 400X.
It continues to be powered by a 398cc liquid-cooled DOHC 4V/cyl single-cylinder TR Series engine. This engine is capable of delivering 40 bhp of peak power and 37 Nm of peak torque, mated to a slipper clutch and a 6-speed gearbox. It rivals other Scrambler motorcycles like Royal Enfield’s Scram 440, Honda CB350 RS, Yezdi Scrambler and others.

2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X Spied With Enhanced Off-road Capabilities – New Features

2025 Triumph Scrambler. Image – Acko DriveUpdates for 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X include tubeless spoke wheels, raised front fender, compact windshield and metal bash plate
To target the fast-growing sub-middleweight motorcycle segment, Triumph had introduced the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X in July 2023. Triumph 400cc bikes have emerged as popular options, collectively ranked in the top ten list of bestselling 300cc-500cc motorcycles. In line with evolving needs of enthusiasts, Triumph will soon introduce the 2025 Scrambler 400X with multiple updates. Let’s explore what’s in store.
    2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X – What’s new?
Updated 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X was recently spotted during a shoot in Pune. Instantly noticeable is a new yellow colour, which complements the bike’s sporty, agile character. A similar yellow shade is available with the Speed 400, but the paint format is different.
2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X. Image – Acko Drive
One can also notice the distinctive graphics and Triumph logo on the fuel tank. Other additions include a raised front fender and a compact windshield. Both of these are painted in the body-coloured yellow shade. It remains to be seen if this sportier paint scheme is implemented for all variants or is exclusive to the yellow variant.
Existing colour options available with Scrambler 400X include Matt Khaki Green / Fusion White, Volcanic Red / Phantom Black, Pearl Metallic White / Phantom Black, and Phantom Black / Silver Ice. The USD forks in golden finish are common for all variants. Other features include a circular headlamp and rear-view mirrors, knuckle guards, split seats and upswept exhaust.

Tubeless wire-spoke wheels, enhanced off-road kit
To make it a more versatile machine, Triumph has introduced multiple upgrades with the 2025 Scrambler 400X. Key among them is tubeless wire-spoke wheels, as seen in the spy images. While wire-spoke wheels perform better across off-road tracks, pairing it with tubed tyres creates major hassles when handling a flat. The task of removing all the parts to access the tube and fitting it all together again is just too painful.
It’s the reason why many enthusiasts choose to go with aftermarket tubed-to-tubeless conversions. With the new 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X, enthusiasts won’t have to experience such hassles and additional expenses. With tubeless wire-spoke wheels, users get more confidence to unlock new experiences.
Off-road capabilities are further enhanced with the addition of a full-metal engine bash plate. The existing model utilizes a plastic bash plate. It provides basic coverage but lacks the durability needed for tougher terrain. Enthusiasts will also be wishing for sintered brake pads in place of the organic ones in use currently. These organic units have a limited lifespan and also impact braking efficiency.
    New more affordable variant?
Other than the aforementioned updates, most features and hardware remain unchanged for 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X. New Scrambler 400X could cost around Rs 12,000 more than the current model. To ensure it remains easily accessible, Triumph could introduce a new more affordable version of the Scrambler 400X.
A similar strategy is already being used with the Speed T4, which is around Rs 42,000 cheaper than Speed 400. The affordable version of Scrambler 400X could be priced lower, as it will focus on the essentials. Existing Triumph Scrambler 400X is available at a starting price of Rs 2.66 lakh. More

Triumph Thruxton 400 Cafe Racer Spied Without Camouflage – Launch Soon?

Triumph Thruxton 400 Cafe Racer Spied TestingThe retro classic 350cc to 450cc motorcycle segment is heating up. We have Royal Enfield on one side with around 86% of the segment and then we have the challengers. Joining the challengers soon will be Triumph Thruxton 400 (name not confirmed) featuring a Cafe Racer aesthetic which is not currently used in this segment.
There have been multiple spy shots of this upcoming motorcycle. The latest spy shot might very well be the clearest and it features zero camouflage and testing equipment and associated wires. Even the finishings on engine bay and body panels look finalized, suggesting that it is nearing production and a launch might be around the corner.
Triumph Thruxton 400 Cafe Racer Spied
The iconic and legacy motorcycle brand, Triumph, is keen on expanding its single-cylinder portfolio, which is manufactured by Bajaj Auto here in India. The lineup currently includes Speed 400, Scrambler 400X and Speed T4. There have been test mules spotted of a Scrambler T4 (name not confirmed) as well.
Triumph and Bajaj are on the verge of launching a Cafe Racer inspired motorcycle in India and abroad. When launched, it may take the name of Thruxton 400 or it may get a name based on the already established Speed 400 brand. Previous test mule sightings have shown some kind of testing equipment or had the Triumph branding hidden or concealed.
Triumph Thruxton 400 Cafe Racer Spied Testing
The new spy shots do not show any camouflage or testing equipment and it features Triumph logo on engine casing. The finishing on body panels and engine bay might be final production-spec as well. Where design is concerned, Triumph’s upcoming Cafe Racer looks neat and aesthetically pleasing with a retro charm.
It has a committed riding posture and we can see the test rider leaned on to the clip-on handlebars. Footpeg positioning is slightly rear-set too, which is fitting for a Cafe Racer motorcycle. We can also see bar-end mirrors, which we hope Triumph offers as standard fitment and not part of accessories.
    What to expect?
At the front, we have a classic Cafe Racer style semi fairing that ends into a round LED headlight. There’s also a neat flyscreen integrated into this fairing. Headlight gets a stylish ‘X’ motif which gives it a funky look. Seat is of single-piece type and there is a single-piece pillion grab rail as well.
    Triumph 400cc Cafe Racer
Engine bay gets a Matte Black finish with exposed rivets appeal oozing quality associated with Triumph brand. USD front forks, rear mono-shock 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, disc brakes at both ends with dual channel ABS are notable components. Previous spy shots show the same semi-digital instrument cluster with Triumph Thruxton 400 which lacks Bluetooth.
There’s a large radiator for engine heat management. Speaking of, Triumph is likely to offer the same 398cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC 4V/cyl engine that is capable of generating around 40 bhp of peak power and around 38 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Launch is likely to be around the corner and more info will be divulged soon.

Triumph Thruxton 400 Cafe Racer Testing Continues Before Launch

Triumph Thruxton 400 Cafe Racer TestingBajaj and Triumph are stepping up their game in the premium single-cylinder motorcycle segment. After launching the Speed 400, Scrambler 400X and Speed T4, Triumph is now working on Scrambler T4 (speculated name) and a Thruxton 400 (speculated name) and the testing continues in full swing as suggested by recent spy shots.
    Thruxton 400 Cafe Racer Testing
With the launch of Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X, Triumph opened a new chapter in terms of pricing and product planning. Based on the new 400cc platform, Triumph has already launched three motorcycles and is on the verge of developing two more motorcycles. Production of these motorcycles is handled by Bajaj Auto.
Triumph Thruxton 400 Cafe Racer Styling
Speculated to be called Thruxton 400, Triumph’s latest Cafe Racer motorcycle brings style and substance to this segment. There is a possibility of this being called Speed 400 RR, building on the popularity of Speed 400. This motorcycle has been spied globally multiple times and is the 2nd recorded instance of testing in India.
As seen in the video by The Fat Biker, Triumph Thruxton 400 is a Cafe Racer style motorcycle with a striking semi fairing setup. Other Cafe Racer cues like low-set clip-on handlebars and bar-end mirrors are present. Other than that, we have retro design cues like circular headlight, circular ORVMs, an analogue tachometer and more.
Triumph Thruxton 400 Cafe Racer Styling
Interestingly, there seems to be an X insignia LED signature in the headlights. Along with that, we have LED tail lights and turn indicators, black USD telescopic front forks and a single seat setup with a single-piece rear grab rail. Rider’s triangle looks slightly more committed than Speed 400 owing to the low-set clip-on handlebars.
    What to expect?
Triumph Thruxton 400 is probably rocking the same main frame, sub frame and swingarm as Speed 400. Suspension components include USD front forks and a rear mono-shock, while braking is handled by single discs at both ends with dual channel ABS. Tyres are likely to be slightly fatter than the 150-section rear tyre on Speed 400. Royal Enfield Guerrilla does offer 160-section tyres, if you’re wondering.
    [embedded content]
These spy shots from The Fat Biker suggest that Triumph Thruxton 400 Cafe Racer will get the same semi-digital instrument cluster as Speed 400. Where powertrains are concerned, it will be powered by the same 398.15cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC 4V/cyl engine with around 40 bhp and 38 Nm, mated to a slipper clutch and a 6-speed gearbox. Launch is likely around festive season. More
