Royal Enfield Classic 650 UnveiledWith the new Classic 650, Royal Enfield has unveiled their 6th 650cc motorcycle with more offerings to come in the future
Ever since the launch of Interceptor 650 and GT Continental 650, Royal Enfield has held the 500cc+ motorcycle segment tightly in its grasp with around 85% to 90% market share. Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650 further added to the sales. Now, Royal Enfield has launched Interceptor Bear 650 and unveiled Classic 650 to further broaden the horizon.
The new Classic 650 is expected to single-handedly dominate the company’s 650cc portfolio like Classic 350 has done with the 350cc portfolio. The timeless design with retro charm and raw beauty is the primary strength of Classic 650. Launch is likely to happen soon and pricing will be lower than that of Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650.

At passing glance, Classic 650 looks like a Classic 350. But that’s deliberate as the design is what sells the Classic brand and has turned Royal Enfield’s fortunes around. From the looks of it, Classic 650 might very well be one of the prettiest middle-weight retro motorcycles on sale in the world. It weighs 243 kg, though.

Unlike the just launched Interceptor Bear 650, Classic 650 is based on the same chassis as Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650. While those two motorcycles pack in more premium componentry like USD Telescopic front forks, Classic 650 stays relatively simpler in terms of components with 43mm RSU telescopic front forks.

Rear suspension is taken care of by twin shock absorbers. Instrument cluster of Classic 650 is similar to Classic 350 and gets a Tripper Screen as standard that supports Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The exhaust setup is similar to Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650 with two tail pipes.

Mahindra BE 6e And XEV 9E Electric SUVs Teased – Global Debut Nov 26th

Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e TeasedWith wild design, Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e will not only make buzz in India, but is expected to shine in export markets too
India’s leading traditional SUV manufacturer, Mahindra Auto, has just revealed the production names of two of its upcoming electric SUVs. This is the latest revelation and the company has also revealed the world premiere date of these electric SUVs – Nov 26th, 2024 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Mahindra BE 6e And XEV 9E
If there is one Indian car brand known for unusual naming traditions, it has to be Mahindra. Not only does most Mahindra product names end with an ‘O’, they also have quirky naming strategies. Mahindra has been cleaning up the quirky naming trend by eradicating KUV and TUV sub brands (much needed).
    Mahindra XEV 9e Teased
Previously speculated to be BE.05 and XUV.e9, these SUVs will be called BE 6e and XEV 9e respectively. As per Mahindra, BE 6e and XEV 9e are the flagships within their respective sub brands. So, the new sub brands fall under Mahindra’s Electric Origin SUVs substrata and even gets its own ‘Infinity’ logo.
For starters, Mahindra has gotten rid of the full-stop in the names – BE.05 and XUV.e9, which is a step in the right direction. The new Infinity logo for Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs is what is seen on XEV lineup and is illuminated. With BE lineup, the BE illuminated logo has been retained, which we saw with concept.

BE 6e is built from the ground up, adhering to BE (Born Electric) philosophies. The company has teased both BE6e and XEV 9E, without any camouflage. Thus revealing some of their key design elements, edgy detailing, wild LED DRL signatures among others. Both vehicles will premiere on 26th November at Mahindra’s Unlimit India event held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
    Mahindra BE 6e Teased
    What to expect?
Mahindra BE 6e will be around 4.3m in length and will feature a wild and futuristic design. It will feature a cockpit-like split dashboard with twin-displays. Up to 60 kWh battery can be expected with this vehicle and it could feature single-motor and dual-motor drivetrain configurations for 2WD and 4WD setups respectively.
XEV 9e, on the other hand, is a much larger vehicle with a lot of street presence. We expect it to be around 5m in length and features a stylish Coupe design. On the inside, a triple dashboard layout is seen with many elements carried over from XUV700. Up to 80 kWh battery, single and dual motor layouts are expected as well. More

Upcoming 12 New Royal Enfield Motorcycles – Meteor, Bullet, Classic, Hunter and More

New Royal Enfield Classic 650 RenderEnthusiasts can look forward to exciting new products and updated models that will also include Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle
To stay ahead in the game, Royal Enfield has introduced updates and new motorcycles at regular intervals. The company enjoys almost complete dominance in 350cc-450cc and 650cc motorcycle segments. Several new launches are planned in the coming months, as listed below.
    1. Royal Enfield EV (New Model)
    Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Spied
Latest spy shots reveal a strong possibility that Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle will be the production version of the Electrik 01 Concept. There’s a strong connection with the Flying Flea motorcycle used during World War II. Some of the key highlights include circular headlamp and rear-view mirrors, liberal use of chrome accents, a circular instrument console, Girder forks and tear-drop fuel tank design.
As compared to regular Royal Enfield bikes, the electric bike has a relatively skinnier profile. It is evident with the compact body and the narrow tyres. Such features make the bike suitable for urban commutes and can also help optimize range by reducing air drag. Royal Enfield will unveil its first electric motorcycle on 4th November. Launch is likely in 2025. With its distinctive profile, Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle will be an easy pick for enthusiasts.
    2. Himalayan Electric (New Model)
    Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric Testbed
Royal Enfield is also developing an electric version of its popular Himalayan 450 bike. Prototypes are already being evaluated to understand the testbed’s capabilities and improvement areas. It may take around a couple of years for Himalayan 450 electric motorcycle to make it to production stage.
    3. Interceptor Bear 650 (New Model)
    Royal Enfield INT Bear 650
Scheduled for launch on 5th November, Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 will be the brand’s first scrambler-style bike in the 650cc segment. It is expected to be the most lightweight 650cc Royal Enfield bike. While the 650cc engine and platform are already popular, Royal Enfield has introduced some exceptional colour options to the delight of enthusiasts.
Mechanical upgrades include USD forks at front, as compared to standard telescopic units seen with Interceptor 650. The black colour variant has the USD forks in golden finish. Other highlights include a circular TFT Tripper Dash, single exhaust setup and dual-purpose tyres.
    4. Classic 650 (New Model)
    New Royal Enfield Classic 650
Recent spy shots revealed the upcoming Classic 650 in attractive dual-tone colour options. Both single-seater and pillion seat models will be available. As compared to the Classic 350 that has a single exhaust, the larger capacity sibling has twin exhausts. Other distinctive features of Classic 350 include the brand’s new logo on the fuel tank. Overall profile is quite similar to the Classic 350. While Classic 350 is currently the top selling Royal Enfield bike, it remains to be seen if Classic 650 gets the same level of fan following.
    5. Bullet 650 (New Model)
    Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin
Upcoming Bullet 650 has been spotted on road tests multiple times in recent months. As per trademark filings, it is likely that the Bullet 650 will go on sale as the Bullet 650 Twin. Royal Enfield could launch the Bullet 650 Twin around mid-2025. It could be positioned as the most affordable 650cc bike from Royal Enfield. Several of the styling bits will be derived from the 350cc Bullet. Equipment list will also be pretty basic to ensure an accessible price point.
    6. Himalayan 650 (New Model)
    Royal Enfield Himalayan 650 Render
With Himalayan 650, Royal Enfield will be in a better position to challenge international bestsellers such as Kawasaki Versys 650, Benelli TRK 502 and Suzuki V-Strom 650. Recent spy shots reveal that Himalayan 650 will be better suited for touring than pure off-roading. Some of the key features include USD front forks, monoshock rear suspension and upswept exhaust. The bike gets dual petal discs at the front, which is something new for a Royal Enfield bike. Launch is expected in 2025.
    7. Himalayan 450 Rally (New Model)
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Rally Version – 91 Wheels
While the existing Himalayan 450 is off-road ready, the Rally version will have improved off-roading capabilities. Spy shots revealed the ‘RALLY’ lettering on the rear panel, which clears all doubts about the bike’s purpose and market positioning. Some of the key highlights include spoked wheels, monoshock rear suspension and upswept exhaust. The bike is likely to get adjustable front and rear suspension. The Rally kit could also include knuckle guards and handlebar risers. A rally racer version of Himalayan 450 is also being developed.
8 and 9. Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 facelifts
    2025 RE Interceptor 650 Spied – Overdrive
Royal Enfield 650 twins, Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, are the top selling bikes in 500cc+ motorcycle segment. They currently have around 2/3rd market share. Royal Enfield is working on the 650 twins’ facelifts that are expected to be launched in 2025. One of the key updates will be dual-disc setup at the front to improve braking performance. Spy shots also reveal a circular instrument console. This could be the same unit, as in use with Himalayan 450. The 648cc parallel-twin engine will be carried forward.
    10. Meteor 350 facelift
    Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Facelift
Royal Enfield’s 4th best selling motorcycle, Meteor 350 contributes more than 10% to overall sales. The facelift model is expected to get LED pilot lamp and tail lamp as standard across all variants. The bike already has an LED headlamp. Some new colour options and tech upgrades could be part of the package. In terms of performance, Meteor 350 facelift will continue with the existing 349cc, single cylinder, air-oil cooled engine.
    11. Bullet 350 facelift
    Bullet 350 facelift Spied
Existing Bullet 350 is not very old, as it was upgraded with the new engine and chassis in September 2023. It is unlikely that Bullet 350 facelift will be getting any major tech updates. Parts like the new digi-analogue instrument console and USB port were added last year.
    12. Hunter 350 facelift
    2025 Hunter 350 Spied – Overdrive
With its athletic build and agile performance, Hunter 350 has emerged as the second best selling Royal Enfield bike. In its first update, Hunter 350 facelift will be getting an LED headlight. The current model is equipped with a halogen unit. Users can expect smoother rides, as Hunter 350 facelift will be getting a new rear suspension. These updates could be limited to the Metro variant of Hunter 350. The facelift model will continue with the existing 349cc engine. More

Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 Debuts – 5 New Colours, Launch Soon?

Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 DebutsInterceptor Bear 650 is the first scrambler-style motorcycle based on Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform and may be the lightest
With 650 Twins, Royal Enfield rewrote the rule books of multi-cylinder large-displacement engine-equipped motorcycles. Starting from Interceptor 650 and GT Continental 650, Royal Enfield has significantly expanded its 650 portfolio. Newest addition to this lineup is a Scrambler based on Interceptor 650 which has just made its global debut.
    Interceptor Bear 650 Debuts
Royal Enfield, the iconic motorcycle manufacturer, has emerged as India’s de facto classic and retro mobility solutions provider. This behemoth has been dominating two lucrative segments in India – 350cc to 450cc segment and 500cc+ segment. With little to no traction from rivals, Royal Enfield has soldiered on to the top.
    Interceptor Bear 650
Their latest offering is a Scrambler style motorcycle based on Interceptor 650. Called Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650, the name symbolises Eddie Mulder’s historic win at Big Bear Run of 1960. The latest teaser by Royal Enfield was voiced by Eddie Mulder, also a renowned racer, stuntman and bike builder.
When compared to Interceptor 650 it is based on, the new Scrambler is a lot more appealing. For starters, there are 5 new colours to choose from, as seen in the image below. The launch colour is based on a bright yellow shade, complemented by white and black elements, for a sporty vibe. Some colourways get painted mainframe and subframes.
    Interceptor Bear 650 Colours
Overall silhouette is almost identical to Interceptor 650 it is based on. Which is not a bad thing in our opinion. Side body panels now get a round element. Headlights are LEDs and so are the tail lights and turn indicators. The single-piece seat seems to be slightly raised, for that Scrambler look.
Front suspension has gotten an upgrade to USD telescopic forks as opposed to RSU telescopic forks on Interceptor 650. These USD forks are from Showa and should allow for sportier handling. Rear suspension is still handled by a twin-shock setup on Interceptor Bear 650, but it might be tuned differently.
    Interceptor Bear 650 Tripper Dash
    What are the changes?
Also upgraded is the instrumentation where we can now see a TFT Tripper Dash that supports music control and Google Maps. The main highlights of Interceptor Bear 650 are the new tyres which could be Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR and the new single exhaust setup. This exhaust is slightly upswept and might make Interceptor Bear 650 the lightest RE 650cc bike.
It will be powered by the same 648cc parallel twin engine as other RE650 offerings. This engine will churn out around 46 bhp of peak power and 56.5 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Price-wise, we can expect a starting price of around Rs 3.5 lakh – 3.6 lakh (Ex-sh).

    2025 Royal Enfield Bear 650
When the first set of Royal Enfield’s 650cc scrambler leaked on the internet, it created a commotion among the motorcycle fraternity across the world. This is a lightweight and off-road-oriented version of Interceptor 650 and it gets a lot of upgraded features and components over it.
Royal Enfield Bear 650 Officially Teased
Interceptor 650 has been loved by many, owing to its simplicity and retro charm. Now, enthusiasts get to see a wild side of it. As seen in the teasers, Royal Enfield has confirmed the name of its upcoming Scrambler. Initially, speculations suggested it would be called Scram 650 and then we saw Interceptor Bear 650 being trademarked in India.
    Royal Enfield Bear 650
Putting a full stop to speculations, Royal Enfield has chosen to call it Bear 650. Keeping it in line with the company’s recent naming trends. First we got a Gorilla-inspired name and now we get a Bear. Where design is concerned, Royal Enfield has kept it simple and close to the Interceptor 650 it is based on.

The main difference we can see are the USD telescopic front forks finished in a lovely Gold shade. Thus Bear 650 becomes the first offering based on this chassis to get USD forks. Rear is still twin-shock setup and upcoming Himalayan 650 will be the first 650cc Royal Enfield to get rear mono-shock setup.
    Royal Enfield Bear 650
We can see single-tone and dual-tone colours with Royal Enfield Bear 650, as seen in the teaser. Bear 650 gets a single exhaust setup, which will contribute to weight reduction. Another notable element on this motorcycle is the addition of the 5-inch Tripper Dash which gets features like Google Maps and music controls.

    In Gut We Trust
The teaser signifies changing landscapes from the city to the deserts. Indicating that Royal Enfield is pitting this motorcycle as a getaway vehicle to have some fun off-road to escape the mundane 9-5 routines. Notably, this teaser was voiced by renowned motorcycle racer, stuntman and bike builder, Eddie Mulder.
    Royal Enfield Bear 650
Royal Enfield Bear 650 will be powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin oil-cooled engine that is capable of generating 47 bhp and 52 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. In the teaser, this motorcycle seems to have reworked exhaust noise and sounded a lot like an American V-Twin. More details will be revealed soon and launch is likely to happen in 2025.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Scrambler Teased Before Launch – 5th Nov Debut

Royal Enfield Bear 650 TeaserWith a more versatile character, Royal Enfield Bear 650 can target a broader segment of users – Debut on 5th November, 2024
Royal Enfield’s 650cc portfolio will soon have new additions such as Classic 650 Twin, Bullet 650 Twin and Himalayan 650. Earlier today, we also saw updated 2025 Interceptor 650 spy shots. Another new 650cc bike will be a scrambler model, expected to go on sale as the Bear 650. This name has been trademarked across multiple global markets as well. Now, RE has also dropped the first official teaser.
Royal Enfield Bear 650 Teaser Out
The 10 second teaser video shared by Royal Enfield gives a glimpse of what is to come along with the debut date. The caption reads – “CAUTION HAS BEEN CHASING US. BUT WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN QUICKER.” The teaser ends with the date 5th November and the image of what looks like a bear. Take a look at the teaser below.
    [embedded content]
Test mule sightings reveal that the new Royal Enfield scrambler bike is based on the Interceptor 650. The tubular steel chassis and the design of the fuel tank are the same as that of Interceptor 650. But the suspension setup is different, positioned higher to achieve a longer suspension travel in comparison to other Royal Enfield 650cc bikes. Bear 650 gets USD forks at front in comparison to the telescopic units seen with Interceptor 650.
At the rear, the scrambler model has dual shock absorbers, similar to that of Interceptor 650. However, Bear 650 uses different spring/damper units that miss out on the gas reservoirs seen with Interceptor 650. RE Bear 650 is expected to get a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combo. These have dual-purpose block-pattern tyres, likely to be tubed units. The suspension and tyres configuration indicates that Bear 650 will be capable of handling mild to moderate off-road tracks.
    Royal Enfield Bear 650 Scrambler
Royal Enfield Bear 650 has minimalistic, neo-retro aesthetics. With the classic scrambler format, the bike can attract a broad segment of users. Some of the key highlights include all-LED lighting, circular headlamp and rear-view mirrors, tear-drop shaped fuel tank, braced handlebar for off-road tracks, new mudguards, upswept exhaust, a slightly rising seat and oval race-style number boards.
    Royal Enfield Bear 650 Scrambler
Design of the footpegs and levers complement the bike’s rugged character. The two-into-one exhaust setup with perforated heat shield is something entirely new for a Royal Enfield bike. This is similar to the popular scramblers of the 1960s. Bear 650 will be using a circular TFT instrument screen, the same as seen with Himalayan 450 and recently launched Guerrilla 450. Users will be able to access a range of app-based features including full map navigation.
Royal Enfield Bear 650 – Performance
Powering Royal Enfield Bear 650 will be the 648cc, inline twin cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC engine. It generates 47 PS and 52.3 Nm, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Although the engine is the same as other 650cc bikes from Royal Enfield, Bear 650 can deliver a higher power-to-weight ratio with its lightweight profile.
The bike has minimal body panelling, a two-into-one exhaust and short tail section and fender. All these will help enhance overall performance. In the company’s lineup, Bear 650 will be positioned above the 650 twins and below the Super Meteor 650. More

Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Spied For The First Time Before Launch

Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle SpiedRoyal Enfield will officially reveal their first electric motorcycle on 4th Nov 2024 – Launch expected in 2025
India’s best selling brand in the middleweight motorcycle segment, Royal Enfield is now looking to achieve something similar in the EV space. There aren’t any CC limitations for electric two-wheelers. And brands have full freedom to create truly unique products that suit their target audience. Royal Enfield will unveil its first electric motorcycle on 4th November, 2024.
Royal Enfield electric motorcycle – What to expect?
Ahead of that, the first spy shots of this new motorcycle have now leaked online. Based on these images, it is likely that Royal Enfield’s first electric bike will be based on the Electrik 01 concept. An image of the prototype was first released in 2022. As it is seen being tested on the road, that means it is no longer a concept and is in near-production ready form.
    Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle
Royal Enfield has added an exclusive section on its website for its electric motorcycles. Teasers reveal a bike being dropped from the skies using a parachute. This hints at the possibility that the upcoming electric motorcycle could borrow its name from the Flying Flea, a motorcycle that was used during World War II. The shape of the parachute is an exact match with the sketches of the air-dropped Flying Flea motorcycles, released during World War II.
    Focus on urban mobility
While such talks may be speculative, it is interesting to note that Royal Enfield had registered the ‘Royal Enfield Flying Flea’ trademark in 2020. On its website, Royal Enfield mentions that its new range of electric two-wheelers will hit the road soon and are designed for urban mobility. They will have agile characteristics, something that applies to the Flying Flea as well. However, for the 21st century, Royal Enfield electric motorcycles will offer the full range of connectivity and hi-tech features.
    Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Spied
Leaked spy images reveal a retro profile, with circular headlamps and rear-view mirrors. The LED headlamp unit is similar to the other RE motorcycles. There’s a circular instrument cluster as well. It could be the same as or a derivative of the one in use with Himalayan 450. Features such as the classic tear-drop fuel tank design, Girder forks, rider-only seat and semi-circular rear fender are quite similar to that of the Flying Flea. The skinny wheels and tyres are another common feature. For an EV, such components can help reduce air drag and optimize range.
    Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Spied
On 4th November, Royal Enfield is likely to provide some more information about its first electric motorcycle. In terms of performance, the first Royal Enfield electric motorcycle can be comparable to the brand’s popular 350 cc ICE motorcycles. Those with range anxiety may get some estimates on that as well.
    Himalayan 450 Electric
Royal Enfield is also working on the electric version of Himalayan 450. As of now, extensive tests are underway to determine the platform’s capabilities. When ready, the Himalayan 450 electric platform will spawn a new range of electric two-wheelers.
