Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Spied In Production-Guise Alongside Guerrilla 450

Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Spied. Credit – Blue PhoenixJust like Classic 650, Royal Enfield Bullet 650 spied, will continue to be powered by the same 648cc engine with 47 hp and 52 NmRoyal Enfield is on the verge of launching Guerrilla 450 on July 17th, whose specs were leaked last week. Alongside a recent Guerrilla 450 test mule spotted by samshere4u, there was a Bullet 650 test mule in full production-spec guise. Let’s take a closer look.Bullet 650 Spied In Production-GuiseWe have a multitude of new 650cc motorcycles incoming from Royal Enfield. There have been multiple sightings of Interceptor Bear 650 (first a Guerrilla, next a Bear) commonly referred to as Scram 650, then there is a Classic 650 and Bullet 650 in the works. Whatever happened to the sportier Super Meteor 650 with a Cowl and dual-tone alloys or the Continental GT 650 with fairing, huh?Royal Enfield Bullet 650 SideHowever, Classic 650 and Bullet 650 have been under testing a lot lately. More so, with the Classic 650 which is likely to be called Classic 650 Twin, as suggested by the recent trademark filed by the company. Bullet 650, on the other hand, has been spied on abroad more recently and this might very well be the first time it is being tested in India.Compared to the mule spotted abroad, the new mule in India looked more complete and production-spec with a rear grab rail. Except for a few features here and there, the differences between Classic 650 and Bullet 650 will be negligible. As seen in the spy shots, the differences between Bullet 650 and Classic 650 are almost similar to the differences seen between Bullet 350 and Classic.Scram 650 and Classic 650In this sense, Bullet 650 will get a more retro rear mudguard, while Classic 650 gets a more classic one which is rounder. The main differentiator is Bullet 650 will get a single-piece seat reminiscent of the yesteryears, while Classic 650 packs a split seat setup with a more modern look.Specs and featuresRound headlights, teardrop fuel tank, dual pea-shooter exhaust, Super Meteor 650’s main frame and side body panels, and headlight spoilers are common between both bikes. Both get wire-spoke wheels with tube-type tyres and RSU telescopic front forks that put them above 650 Twins (Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650) and below Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650.Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Spied In EuropeMechanically, Royal Enfield Bullet 650 spied, will get the same creamy smooth 648cc parallel-twin engine with 47 bhp and 52 Nm. This is an oil-cooled engine and offers a slipper clutch and a 6-speed gearbox. Dominating the 500cc+ segment with around 90% market share, Royal Enfield intends to offer more flavours for its 650cc platform.Between the Bullet 650 and Classic 650, there might be differences in engine and suspension characteristics. Royal Enfield might create a feature deficit, in favour of Classic 650. In this sense, Classic 650 might get more advanced features like a Tripper Dash or a Tripper Screen as standard, but not with Bullet 650.Royal Enfield Bullet 650 ExhaustsSomething similar was seen with upcoming Guerrilla 450, where only the top model gets Tripper Dash, while base model gets an analog-digital speedo with a Tripper Screen accessory. Pricing will be more affordable than Super Meteor 650.Source More

Bajaj CNG Motorcycle Detailed In New Spy Shots – No 1 Mileage Bike?

New Bajaj CNG Motorcycle SpiedKey USPs for Bajaj upcoming CNG bike include its robust performance, reduced running costs and off-road capabilitiesOver the years, Bajaj has achieved several milestones. It includes launching India’s first green CNG three-wheeler and the performance-oriented Pulsar bikes. Bajaj is set to make history once again, as it prepares to launch the world’s first CNG motorcycle.Bajaj CNG bike launch on 5th July – What to expect? To ensure it can serve the needs of a wide segment of users, Bajaj CNG bike will focus on both performance and fuel cost savings. CNG is cheaper than petrol, something that will reduce running costs of the bike. To ensure optimal performance, Bajaj is expected to use a 125cc engine for its CNG bike. It is to note that Bajaj has plans to launch multiple CNG bikes by 2025. The first of these could be the 125cc model.New Bajaj CNG Motorcycle SpiedTest mules spotted earlier had revealed that at least two models are close to production stage. One of these appears to be a regular commuter bike, whereas the other was seen with off-road equipment such as knuckle guards and fork gaiters. It is possible that two or more variants could be introduced on the launch day. The variants could also be designed based on the target audience such as urban and rural demographics.CNG + Petrol to add convenienceIn view of the size and safety aspects, only a small CNG tank would be suitable for a motorcycle. Bajaj CNG bike blueprints have revealed that the CNG tank is safely enclosed within the structure of the bike. Due to this, the CNG fuel tank will have limited fuel carrying capacity.New Bajaj CNG Motorcycle SpiedAs a regular petrol tank will also be available, users won’t have to face the prospect of running out of fuel. CNG + Petrol is also relevant in the current setup where the number of CNG fuel stations are relatively fewer in comparison to the regular petrol/diesel fuel pumps. Mileage of Bajaj CNG Motorcycle is likely to be very high, possibly making it the No 1 mileage bike of India.New Bajaj CNG Motorcycle SpiedBajaj CNG bike priceIt is apparent that significant efforts and resources have gone into the design and development of Bajaj CNG bike. However, one can still expect a competitive pricing policy. As it will be an entirely unique and new offering, some sections of consumers may have hesitations. Launching the CNG bike at a premium can prompt many consumers to stick with the regular petrol-only bikes. It is likely that an attractive, limited period initial offer price will be announced for Bajaj CNG bike.New Bajaj CNG Motorcycle SpiedTo make it stand out and position it as a VFM product, Bajaj can also introduce some best-in-class or segment-first features with its CNG bike. Being the world’s first dual-fuel two-wheeler, Bajaj CNG bike deserves some special attention. For complete peace of mind of customers, Bajaj may also offer a longer warranty package. There can be various other surprises that will be revealed only on 5th July. More

New 125cc Bajaj Pulsar Spied Testing – More Details Revealed, Compared

New 125cc Bajaj PulsarAs per the new spy shots, Bajaj could be developing a new Pulsar line to carve out a much sportier version of its 125cc portfolioBajaj Auto has been working on a new 125cc Pulsar. There have been many test mule sighting instances in India and the new spy shots reveal more details about the bike. Looking at these test mules begs the question of which Pulsar subcategory it belongs to or if a new Pulsar line is under development.New 125cc Bajaj Pulsar SpiedThere is an increasing demand for feature-loaded 125cc motorcycles that fulfils fuel-efficiency demands but also offer a premium quotient. TVS is a step ahead in this regard and Hero has done a commendable job with their Xtreme 125R. However, Bajaj lacks the newness factor, something both rivals are offering.New 125cc Bajaj Pulsar Vs Pulsar P designCurrently, 125cc Pulsars (Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS 125) are the company’s best-selling lineup and we might soon witness a third offering. Contrary to popular belief, this is less likely to be a N125 (N150 with a 125cc engine). Instead, Bajaj is likely to be spawning a whole new sub-brand or sub-lineup under its Pulsar umbrella.Recent test mules spotted show motorcycle’s side profile and we can see that it gets unique attributes of its own, while still retaining Pulsar DNA. When compared to Pulsar P range, Pulsar N range and Pulsar NS range, this upcoming 125cc Pulsar looks quite unique and looks like a more modern 125cc Bajaj Pulsar.New 125cc Bajaj Pulsar Vs Pulsar N designUnique design compared to existing PulsarsWe compared it with Pulsar P design, Pulsar N design and Pulsar NS design to see just how unique it is. Sure, there are a few parts sharing with other Pulsars. For example, the new Pulsar gets same wheels as Pulsar P150 (R.I.P.) and braking hardware. So, no petal rotors. Even the fuel tank and tank shrouds look similar to Pulsar P150.Rear tail lights and indicators along with rear tyre hugger look similar to Pulsar NS125. That said, there are many unique attributes with this new 125cc Bajaj Pulsar like flatter split seats, new tail section, new side body panels, new front mudguard, new RSU telescopic front forks with round reflector and beefy-looking suspension shrouds (covers) like a street fighter.New 125cc Bajaj Pulsar Vs Pulsar NS designExhaust setup looks almost identical to Pulsar N style bikes, but engine looks like it is gifted straight from Pulsar 125 (no prefix). Looking at the beefy suspension shrouds and single-piece handlebar, we reckon Bajaj is carving out a new street naked machine that will directly take on premium 125cc bikes.A fitting answer to Raider 125 and Xtreme 125R, if you may. Thinking in this regard, this upcoming Pulsar might get a more modern digital instrument cluster that packs many modern features. Considering 125cc Pulsars are Bajaj’s best-sellers, it makes a lot of sense for the company to expand their 125cc portfolio to incorporate a much more modern and advanced bike. What could be the name, though? Pulsar NS125Z? Pulsar N125Z?New Bajaj 125cc Motorcycle SpiedAlso read – Bajaj CNG bike launch date revealedSource More

Next-Gen Hero Destini Scooter Leaked – 125cc Activa, Jupiter, Access, Fascino Rival

Next-Gen Hero Destini Scooter Vs Current ModelWhile current model on sale is a contemporary family scooter, next-gen Hero Destini 125 seems to be going for a retro scooter appealHero MotoCorp, world’s largest 2W manufacturer in volumes, is taking greater strides in scooter segment. Primarily known for its budget commuter lineup, Hero is gearing up to launch more scooters to consolidate its position. One among those upcoming scooters is the next-gen Hero Destini and the production-spec version has been leaked showing the entire vehicle.Next-Gen Hero Destini – Next big thing in 125cc scooter segment? The 125cc scooter segment generates less sales and interest than 100cc to 110cc scooters. But the magnitude of this landscape is changing and 125cc scooters are gaining more prominence. Capitalizing on this growth are OEMs like TVS, Honda, Suzuki and Hero MotoCorp.Recently, Next-Gen Hero Destini 125 scooter has been leaked ahead of launch. Interestingly, there has not been a single spy shot or this upcoming scooter and Hero has played its cards close to the chest. Regardless, we get to see the full scooter in production guise now and without any camouflage. One can also see most of the exterior features and attributes as there is no camouflage. When compared to current Destini 125, the upcoming model almost looks like it has taken a Classic and Retro scooter vibe. We say this because current Destini 125 looked like any other contemporary family scooter.Current Hero Destini 125 XTECNow, it has been transformed into a stylish and retro-looking offering that should take on the likes of Yamaha Fascino and Vespa scooters. We can see an all-new apron with sleeker turn indicators and contrasting trims. The chunky chrome has been done away with and the headlight is now in a triangular housing.Upgrade in componentsPlastic panels behind the apron are painted that continues on the floorboard and side panels have been transformed to look like a retro scooter. Seat looks more contoured than before and pillion backrest looks the same, while grab rail is painted black. Exhaust heat shield is new and so are the swankier alloy wheels. For the first time, Destini 125 is getting a front disc brake option. We can expect other attributes like an external fuel filler cap, USB charging socket, XTEC connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and others. Powertrains-wise, it is likely to retain the same 124.6cc single-cylinder engine with 9 bhp and 10.4 Nm with i3S stop/start feature. We hope Hero is offering 12-inch alloy wheels like a Xoom 110, instead of 10-inchers. There might be a slight bump in pricing and the new model is likely to expand Hero’s presence in India’s 125cc scooter realm. Rivals include Honda Activa 125, Yamaha Fascino 125, TVS Jupiter 125 and upcoming Suzuki Access 125 facelift.Source More
