It has been developed in collaboration with Toyota. The latter will also introduce its own version based on the same platform in 2025. Maruti eVX will compete with the likes of MG ZS EV and upcoming Tata Curvv EV, Creta EV and Seltos EV.Maruti eVX spotted at a recharge stationThis is the first time Maruti eVX has been spotted while getting charged in India. Built from the ground up, the electric SUV will have to undergo rigorous testing for several months. Although the test mule is heavily camouflaged in all-black, one can clearly see the design of the electric SUV.Maruti eVX Spotted Next To S-CrossMaruti eVX has a dominating street presence, made possible with the chunky, upright front fascia, large alloy wheels, sloping roofline and rugged rear profile. The SUV will be getting L-shaped headlamps, closed-off front grille, shark fin antenna and wraparound tail lamps. Full-width LED elements could be there at the front and rear.In line with consumer preferences, Maruti eVX will have a minimalistic design theme for the interiors. Instead of physical buttons, eVX will have capacitive touch controls. Users can access these on the touchscreen, dashboard and the steering wheel.Maruti EVX Electric SUVeVX will have a large panoramic touchscreen that comprises the infotainment screen and the digital instrument cluster. Hyundai Ioniq 7 Spotted Testing – Kia EV9 Counterpart, Ditches Suicide Doors

Hyundai Ioniq 7 spotted testingKia EV9’s counterpart is Hyundai Ioniq 7 and has been spied testing for the first time – It is Hyundai SEVEN Concepts’ production versionKia and Hyundai are currently on the verge of carving out quite a chunk in global EV segment. Combined, the South Korean sister brands have developed E-GMP platform that the recently spotted Hyundai Ioniq 7 test mules will be based on. Hyundai Ioniq 7 spotted, is likely to sport similar powertrain as recently launched Kia EV9 flagship.Hyundai Ioniq 7 Spotted TestingRecent test mules of Hyundai Ioniq 7 were captured testing in Germany. Ioniq 7 is Hyundai’s counterpart of Kia EV9 flagship electric SUV and is the production version of Hyundai SEVEN electric SUV concept showcased a couple of years ago.Production-spec Ioniq 7 deviates a lot from what Hyundai showed with Concept. We’re not stressing about the lack of suicide doors (rear hinged doors) for 2nd row. Sure, that is a noticeable miss from Hyundai SEVEN concept. But we’re slightly surprised with the overall design that Hyundai is going for.As seen with SEVEN concept, Hyundai was promising a boxy SUV with a lot of presence. With production-spec Ioniq 7, Hyundai is giving out MPV vibes that seem to be in line with Hyundai Ioniq 6 sedan (saloon). Reminds us of Hyundai’s MPVs like Stargazer and Staria. Bonnet is short and A-pillar is quite raked. There’s a sense of swooping effect to this design.Hyundai Ioniq 7 fasciaNot just MPV vibes, overall design is swoopy and curvaceous, something that SEVEN concept didn’t have. Even Kia EV9 has a butch SUV stance and proportions. The test mule spotted in Germany had two different sets of alloy wheels on testing. Both these wheels are likely to be on offer with Ioniq 7, depending on different variants.Front fascia has vertically-stacked headlights that will be studded with pixel-shaped LEDs. These Pixel LEDs will comprise its LED DRL too along with rear LED signature. Side body claddings are chunky and remind us of recently launched Hyundai Kona. Rear was fully camouflaged and not a lot can be deduced.Same powertrain as Kia EV9?On the inside, Hyundai Ioniq 7 is less likely to sport the same flamboyant interiors as SEVEN concept. There is a much greater probability of Ioniq 7 packing similar attributes from both Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6. Dual 12.3-inch screens on dashboard along with a few buttons here and there, are probable.Hyundai Ioniq 7 profileHyundai logo will be replaced with the four-dots that this company is going for with past vehicles. Level-three autonomous driving aids, recycled materials on the inside, third-row seating, Hyundai’s latest operating system that powers Kona EV are some of the key highlights. Ioniq 7 might be the last E-GMP equipped global electric vehicle with announcements of next-gen eM and eS platforms.Same set of powertrains as Kia EV9 is highly likely with Hyundai Ioniq 7 spotted testing in Germany. Up to 100 kWh battery, dual motor layout with total system output of 380 bhp from Kia EV9 is logical. Claimed range on EV9 is 350 miles (563 km), while the aerodynamic design of Ioniq 7 can eke out more range. India launch is iffy and company hasn’t officially confirmed it for the Asian subcontinent.Images – Autoexpress More

Bajaj New Commuter Bike Spotted – Could Be CT150X

New Bajaj commuter motorcycle spiedA 150cc commuter can make every day rides a lot more exciting and also do some heavy lifting across difficult terrainBajaj is known to pull up surprises. At a time when the focus is on the biggest Pulsar ever, an entirely new test mule has been spotted. Hat tip to Rushlane Spylane member for sharing this exclusive spy shot. It is possible that Bajaj could be working on a 150cc commuter bike. It could be launched as CT150X.Bajaj new commuter bike – What to expect? The usual set of commuter bikes are largely pooled in 100cc to 125cc segment. At 150cc and above, the majority of bikes are positioned as performance-oriented machines. In this space, Bajaj already has Pulsar 150 and Pulsar N150. These are among the bestselling Pulsar bikes in the country. With the new 150cc commuter bike, Bajaj can provide something more relevant for the specific target market.New Bajaj commuter motorcycle spiedSpotted with heavy camouflage, the test mule wants to keep things under wraps as far as possible. However, a closer inspection does provide some hints about how the final version will look like. Some of the features that are evident include round headlamp, standard commuter-style handlebar with brace, heavy-duty front forks, a single piece seat and a standard grab rail. The bike also has an engine crash guard, rear tyre hugger and saree guard with integrated footrest. Just like CT125X, the new 150cc commuter is likely to have fork gaiters. As evident, there are enough similarities to link the test mule to a 150cc commuter bike under CT brand. Bajaj may also be looking to boost the CT range that hasn’t been doing all that great in comparison to Pulsar and Platina range. CT bikes have significantly fewer numbers than Pulsar and Platina, across both domestic and international markets. A new 150cc CT bike can probably bring about positive changes.Bajaj CT150X performanceIt is possible that Bajaj CT150X could get a tweaked version of the existing 149.50 cc engine in use with Pulsar 150. Power and torque output could be adjusted in favour of fuel efficiency. On-board Pulsar 150, the engine delivers 14 PS of max power and 13.25 Nm of peak torque. In comparison, Pulsar N150 has slightly higher numbers at 14.5 PS and 13.5 Nm. Both models have a constant mesh 5-speed gearbox. The engine being used with the test mule can be seen with fins. It indicates that this is an air-cooled engine. The bike comes with new alloy wheels. It has disc brake at front, which appears to be similar to that of CT125X. Other highlights include rugged foot pegs and hand guards.A 150cc commuter bike seems to have potential, as there aren’t many players in this space. Bajaj CT150X could especially do well across smaller cities and rural markets. The usual set of 100cc to 125cc bikes are quite popular, but they can reach their limits when subjected to heavy work. With more power and torque, a 150cc commuter bike will be appropriate for the specific needs of such markets. More

Bajaj Pulsar P125 Spotted Testing Without Camouflage For The First Time

New Bajaj Pulsar P125 spottedThe upcoming Bajaj Pulsar P125 will sport the same design and componentry as the now discontinued Pulsar P150, with Pulsar 125’s powertrainLeading Indian 2W and 3W manufacturer, Bajaj Auto, is on the verge of expanding its 125cc Pulsar portfolio. Current 125cc Pulsar lineup includes OG Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS125. The latest entrant to this highly competitive segment is Bajaj Pulsar P150. Launch must be nearing as the test mules donned zero camouflage.Bajaj Pulsar P125 spotted testing – Does it make sense? In a rather surprising move, Bajaj replaced Pulsar P150 with Pulsar N150. We say surprising because Bajaj is known to hold on to its motorcycle designs and Pulsar P range debuted in November 2022. For context, design of OG Pulsar is around 15 years old. But what happens to all the dyes, jigs and manufacturing equipment dedicated to making body parts for discontinued Pulsar P150?This is where the new Pulsar test mule comes into play. Bajaj seems to be shifting Pulsar P range from 150cc to 125cc class. Lacklustre sales registered by Pulsar P150 seem to be a primary reason for its discontinuation. 150cc Pulsar buyers sought some beef and brawn that P150 never could never bring to the table.Hence the introduction of Pulsar N150. Now Pulsar P range will re-spawn in 125cc category which makes a lot of sense for Bajaj. We say this because it is 125cc Pulsars, attracting highest footfall in showrooms and they seem to have highest conversion rates as well.Pulsar P125 – Same design as P150Sales charts reflect the same with 125cc Pulsar being Bajaj’s best-seller with 35% of the company’s total sales in September 2023. Launch is likely to happen soon and it will be positioned between OG Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS125. Price of around Rs. 90,000 (ex-sh) would be logical too. What does the new Pulsar P125 pack?First set of spy shots reveals an overall similar silhouette to Pulsar P150. This test mule shows zero camouflage on it. We would wager that none of the body panels and components from Pulsar P range will be altered.Sleek and slender body, attractive LED headlight assembly with a large projector and a unibrow-type LED DRL signature, extended tank shrouds, clip-on handlebars, an engine cowl, single-piece seat, a conventional grab handle, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a USB port and twin-LED tail lights are some of the highlights. As per componentry, upcoming Bajaj Pulsar P125 will come equipped with RSU telescopic front forks, single disc setup at the front with single-channel ABS, rear drum brake, conventional box-section swingarm, similar 17-inch alloy wheels as P150 and the same 124cc single-cylinder engine.Speaking of engine, it will develop around 11 bhp of peak power and 11 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Fuel efficiency is likely to be around 50 km/l. Primary rivals are TVS Raider 125, Honda SP 125 and Hero’s Glamour XTEC and rumoured Xtreme 125, along with Bajaj’s own OG Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS125. Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 Golden Black and Grey Red Colours Spied

Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 ColoursNew Himalayan is lighter, agile, future-ready and a better performer in comparison to its predecessorSince 2016, Royal Enfield Himalayan has been the preferred choice for enthusiasts looking for a budget off-road bike. Himalayan has made its mark across international markets as well. The experience of riding a Himalayan will get better with the all-new 452cc model. It is scheduled for launch on November 07, just a few days before Diwali.Himalayan 452 featuresIn terms of styling, Himalayan 452 is a lot sportier than the current model. The new version looks more agile and is expected to offer improved control and handling. The bike will also be lighter, with an unladen weight of 196 kg. In comparison, existing Himalayan 411 has a kerb weight of 199 kg. New Himalayan is longer and wider, measuring 2,245 mm and 852 mm, respectively. With handguards, the width will increase to 900 mm.Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 ColoursWheelbase is also longer at 1,510 mm, as compared to 1,465 mm of Himalayan 411. However, new Himalayan is shorter at 1,316 mm, compared to 1,370 mm of existing Himalayan. But if the tall screen is installed, new Himalayan will be 1,415 mm in height. New colours of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 have been spied. These are dual tone Golden Black and Grey Red.As compared to the flatbed type structure of the existing model, all-new Himalayan 452 has a bow-like arched profile. This is expected to have tangible benefits in ride quality and overall performance. Exactly how much of a difference it makes will only be known when one gets to ride the new Himalayan 452. Some of the key highlights of new Himalayan include USD front forks, all-LED lighting and a new instrument console.Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 ColoursSignature features such as circular headlamp and rear-view mirrors have been retained. New Himalayan has raised front fender, dual purpose tyres, new fuel tank design, front racks, more ergonomic seats and a stubby upswept exhaust. New Himalayan will be getting a comprehensive range of accessories including side panniers and top box.Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 ColoursHimalayan 452 performanceThe upcoming new model is officially registered as Himalayan 452. It gets its name from the new 451.65cc engine. Choosing 452 name seems a deliberate decision, as it creates a lot more exclusivity for the bike. Especially when it’s compared to ‘450′ that sounds quite generic and bland. The new engine generates 40 hp of peak power, way higher than 24.3 hp of the existing model. RPM is also higher at 8,000 revolutions per minute. This will ensure a range of benefits such as higher top speed, improved throttle response and enhanced cruising capabilities.Similar performance numbers can be seen with Triumph Speed 400, although it is not a direct rival to Himalayan 452. In terms of engine architecture, Himalayan 452 is expected to continue with the SOHC setup for the valve train. In comparison, Triumph has utilized a DOHC setup for Speed 400. Triumph has also launched the 400X scrambler. It is possible that a Triumph ADV version could be launched in future to directly rival new Himalayan 450. That battle will be quite intense and exciting to witness.New Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 could be launched at around Rs 3 lakh. An introductory, limited period price of around Rs 2.60 lakh to Rs 2.70 lakh is also possible. The current model is available at a starting price of Rs 2.16 lakh. More

Royal Enfield Bobber 350 With Pillion Seat Accessory Spied Up-Close

Royal Enfield Bobber 350The same 349cc single-cylinder engine as other 350cc RE bikes will do duty on Royal Enfield Bobber 350 as well – With 20.2 bhp and 27 NmAfter the launch of Bullet 350, Royal Enfield is set to introduce a new 350cc motorcycle. However, this is not a new motorcycle. In typical Royal Enfield fashion of carving new vehicles out of the same core motorcycle, we will get a bobber-styled 350cc bike. The name Classic 350 Bobber or Bobber 350 are likely.Royal Enfield Bobber 350 With Pillion Seat AccessoryWith utter dominance in 350cc motorcycle segment, Royal Enfield is set to further fortify its portfolio with a niche product. We’re talking about Royal Enfield Bobber 350 which will probably be the most expensive 350cc RE in the portfolio when launched. It is an adaptation of its best-selling Classic 350. Hat tip to automotive enthusiast Ashok for sharing these exclusive spy shots.Royal Enfield Bobber 350In this sense, it is basically a Classic 350, but with Bobber style. It lacks proper Bobber attributes like an extended wheelbase and is highly likely to just be a design exercise. In this regard, Jawa has done a pretty good job with Perak and 42 Bobber. Both of these are proper Bobber motorcycles and not regular bikes with tall handlebars.Recent spy shots show Bobber 350 up close. We can see Royal Enfield is playing the retro card. We’re talking about white-walled tyres (or teal-coloured tyre walls) that scream retro and pay tribute to one of the standout elements of vehicles of the past.Royal Enfield Bobber 350It will probably get a single seat as standard with a pillion seat version as an option and offer a pillion seat as an accessory too. Buying either Bullet 350 or Classic 350 and installing Bobber 350’s handlebar could yield similar results as Bobber 350. Just saying. Side body panels, headlights, instrument cluster, switchgear, and everything are similar to Classic 350.Royal Enfield Bobber 350What is different between Bobber 350 and Classic 350?Wheelbase looks identical to that of Classic 350 along with fuel tank and body panels. The differences between the upcoming Bobber 350 and Classic 350 single-seater are with headlights, handlebars, seating, tyres and exhaust. Bobber 350 packs a slightly taller handlebar that is reminiscent of Bobber-style motorcycles.Seating is slightly different too with pillion seats being small and uncomfortable for long rides. It is to be noted that Royal Enfield is likely to offer Bobber 350 with a more comfortable pillion seat option as seen in previous spy shots. Pillion seat in recent spy shot seem to be an accessory. Exhaust has slightly different tips and the headlights are now LEDs.RSU telescopic front forks, dual rear shock absorbers, single disc brake setup at both ends, dual-channel ABS, wire-spoke wheels, and analogue instrument cluster, are similar to the ones seen with other Royal Enfield bikes. The 349cc single-cylinder engine with 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox will remain as is with Bobber 350 too. More

The classic design, minimalistic panelling, step-up single piece saddle and liberal use of chrome are some of the key highlights of Bullet 350. It doesn’t seem appropriate to carry out any drastic changes on the bike. Especially when there are already other styling options available with products like Classic 350, Meteor 350 and Hunter 350. Bullet fans like the old-school look and feel, which will be continued with the new-gen version. However, users can expect improved ride dynamics with the new Bullet 350. Such aggressive pricing is one of the key reasons why Hunter has emerged as the second best selling Royal Enfield bike. New Bullet 350 could be launched at a slightly higher price point, somewhere around Rs 1.60 lakh. (ex-sh) More

It generates 15 hp and can reach a top speed of 95 kmph. Charging options are versatile, with a standard 0.9 kW charger available. For those in a hurry, there’s a 1.5 kW fast charger. Charging time for the dual-battery pack version is approximately 5 hours 12 minutes with the standard charger and 3 hours 30 minutes with the fast charger. The single-battery version can be charged in approximately 3 hours 2 minutes with the standard charger. More
