Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric Spied In Ladakh

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric Spied TestingRoyal Enfield has been taking long strides in electric mobility and we first saw a glimpse of it at the 2023 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy. Royal Enfield showcased a crude prototype of an electric off-roader called HIM-E, which abbreviates to Himalayan Electric. After HIM-E, Royal Enfield also showcased Flying Flea range of motorcycles at 2024 EICMA Show – FF.C6 and FF.S6.
Now, Royal Enfield seems to have developed production versions of HIM-E and they could conveniently be called Himalayan Electric. These units were spotted at a hotel in Ladakh, where top management of Royal Enfield were supposedly testing them. Looking at these products, one might say they are close to production spec model.

    Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric Spied
Himalayan has been the cornerstone in India’s adventure touring motorcycle segment. The versatility of touring and off-roading in one motorcycle is a fascinating package. With Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric spied, one could expect it to excel in off-roading as the brand’s DNA would suggest, but not so enthralling in touring department.
    Himalayan Electric Spied In Ladakh
When compared to HIM-E prototype, Royal Enfield has ironed things out a lot with this version. We can still see some exposed welds on its custom aluminium swingarm. Speaking of aluminium, we can see it almost everywhere. The mainframe and subframe seems to be custom aluminium units and not a tubular trellis type.
    Himalayan Electric Spied In Ladakh
The battery and motor seem to be stressed members of this chassis. There are aluminum luggage mounts at the front of these motorcycles just like in Himalayan 411 and 450. Heel plates are aluminium too and Himalayan Electric gets off-road pegs. Battery case is made of aluminium as well and it has interesting patterns which may represent the topological view of Himalayan terrains or something like that.
    Himalayan Electric Spied In Ladakh
There’s not much to say about design as it takes a ‘function over form’ approach. There is a single-piece seat element that also replicates a fuel tank element, similar to what we saw in HIM-E concept. A front beak is missing, but we get a tall windscreen. Lighting is all LED with LED projector headlights and tail lights are integrated into its rear turn indicators.

    Premium components
Where components are concerned, it is a premium affair on Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric. Wheels are spoked type SM Pro Platinum enduro units that are made of billet aluminium wrapped with knobby type Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross tyres. Dropping anchor on this machine are fancy petal disc (single-disc setup) at both ends with Nissin Callipers.
    Himalayan Electric Spied In Ladakh
Both brake fluid reservoirs are located on the handlebar. Speaking of, only one test mule had a braced handlebar with Renthal brace pad. Suspension is taken care of by fully-adjustable USD telescopic front forks along with fully adjustable Ohlins rear mono-shock. There was a sophisticated ECUMASTER dashboard on these mules which was of larger 7-inch unit. This dashboard is positioned in a tower unit like in rally bikes.
    Himalayan Electric Spied In Ladakh
There’s no official confirmation regarding the launch of Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric. Also, we’re not sure how much of these premium components and features will make it to the final production version. Performance ceiling of Himalayan Electric is still unknown and one could speculate that it may have enough oomph to emulate Himalayan 450’s performance, which is not a bad thing. More

2026 Kia Seltos Spied With Two Different Front Designs – ICE and EV?

2026 Kia Seltos Spied With Two Designs
Hyundai has taken their vastly successful Creta and carved out an electric version. Both vehicles carry the same silhouette, but unique design identities with dedicated front design and wheels. While it is not confirmed, Kia might be taking a similar strategy and developing an electric version of Seltos with unique design elements of its own.
It will be based on upcoming 2026 Seltos and not the current model. Spy shots of upcoming Seltos have been packing two different fascias under its camouflage as highlighted by Kindelauto. This strongly suggests Kia might be working on an electric counterpart, similar to what Hyundai has done with Creta. Let’s take a closer look.
    2026 Kia Seltos – Design 1
    2026 Kia Seltos Spied
At least in India, Kia never had a sportier version of its vehicles with dedicated design elements like Hyundai N Line. Kia did have the X Line, which was more of a paint finish difference and a few other and nowhere close to what Hyundai has been doing with N Line, which offers profound design changes and upgrades to mechanical components.
So, when the upcoming 2026 Seltos is packing two different front fascias, primary speculation was that there could be an electric version of Seltos. Differences between both these fascias are quite evident as seen with highlights outlined by Kindelauto. Even the alloy wheels are different with these, further fueling this speculation.
    2026 Kia Seltos – Design 2
Both versions seem to have a front charging port and only one of them may be functional. The main differences can be seen in bumper designs and alloy wheel designs. Both vehicles were spied testing together and were papped at the same location. On the inside, there might be a few design changes with EV version with gear selector behind steering wheel and others.
    Same powertrains as Creta Electric?
Powering this vehicle could be the same battery and motors as Creta Electric. Either a 42 kWh or a 51.4 kWh battery pack mated to a single FWD electric motor that can generate up to 169 bhp of peak power, promising a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7.9s. In Creta Electric, max range promised is 473 km on a single charge.
    Kia Carens Clavis EV Spotted
2026 Kia Seltos is speculated to offer a Hybrid powertrain option as well, which will keep the Maruti Suzuki and Toyota Hybrids in check. Kia India is working to launch Carens Clavis EV in July 2025, which may feature the same powertrains as Creta Electric.

Affordable Hero Vida VX2 Spied Undisguised At Showroom – Details

Hero Vida VX2 SpiedHero MotoCorp’s electric scooter brand, Vida, is on the verge of launching a new affordable offering on July 1, 2025. Called VX2, it is speculated to be positioned below Vida V2 lineup. There was a lot of buzz online whether it will be a new electric scooter or a rebadged Vida Z, showcased at 2025 Auto Expo.
The first set of spy shots of this upcoming scooter are out and we have our answer to that question. Upcoming Hero Vida VX2 is a rebadged Vida Z and it will be positioned as an affordable product. Units have reached showrooms undisguised and they show key design detail and the affordable equipment it packs. Let’s take a closer look.
    Vida VX2 Plus Spied
    Affordable Hero Vida VX2 Spied
The new Vida VX2 has been spied for the first time without any camouflage on it. It dons a matte yellow shade and VX2 badge on side body panels. Beside VX2 badge, we also get ‘Plus’ badge which confirms that there will be multiple variants of VX2. Looking at Vida V2 lineup, one can speculate that VX2 will be offered in Lite, Plus and Pro.
As things stand, Hero Vida V2 starts from Rs 74,000 for base Lite variant, Rs 85,300 for mid-spec Plus variant and 1,15,300 for top-spec Pro variant (all prices Effective Ex-sh). Looking at the equipment that Vida VX2 is packing, it is a less premium product with less features and equipment.
    Vida VX2 Plus Spied
Where pricing is concerned, Vida VX2 might start from Rs 65,000 (Effective Ex-sh), which will unlock huge sales potential for the brand. Vida VX2 appears quite premium with its LED projector headlights, LED tail lights, LED sequential turn indicators, 12-inch dual-tone alloy wheels (same as V2), front disc brake and other elements.
Looking closely, one can see a physical key hole with Vida VX2, whereas Vida V2 comes with a smart key with keyless go feature as standard fitment right from the base Lite variant. Another giveaway that is less premium than V2 Lite is a smaller instrument screen. This is likely to be a colour TFT unit with connectivity features including navigation.
    Vida VX2 Plus Spied
    Less features
However, looking at the extensive switchgear with a joystick, it is obvious that Vida VX2 will not pack a touchscreen instrument screen, which is also offered as standard with Vida V2, even with base Lite variant. The body panels are much simpler on VX2 and do not require expensive tooling. There’s a single piece seat, unlike the split seat offered on Vida V2.
Powertrain details are not confirmed yet. But it is likely to share the same removable battery architecture as Vida V2 lineup in the same variant hierarchy with battery packs ranging between 2.2 kWh to 3.9 kWh. Claimed IDC range can go till 165 km, depending on battery option. Hero Vida VX2 will launch on July 1, 2025.

Hero Xpulse 160 Spied For The First Time – Impulse Successor

    New Hero Xpulse 160 Spied
When Hero and Honda parted ways, Impulse ADV was the first motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp. Impulse was way ahead of its time, but it was not well received by Indian audience owing to its smaller 150cc engine. However, the formula of an affordable off-roader evolved into Xpulse 200 and the recently launched and rather brilliant Xpulse 210 off-roader / tourer.
Now that Indian motorcycle buyers are more evolved and matured, Hero seems to be exploring a possibility to bring back a small capacity off-roader. Fueling these speculations, we have the first ever spy shots of a probable Hero Xpulse 160 with a smaller engine and more affordable components. Let’s take a closer look.
New Hero Xpulse 160 Design Compared With Xpulse 200
    Hero Xpulse 160 Spied
In a rather interesting turn of events, Hero MotoCorp seems to be working on a new off-road motorcycle. We’re not talking about the ADV with a 440cc engine that has been spied testing before and definitely not the 250cc Xpulse that everyone is craving for. We are talking about a new Xpulse that packs a smaller engine than the current 210cc and 200cc units.
These recent spy shots show an air-cooled engine that looks different from the current air-cooled 200cc unit. It looks smaller in size and cross referencing it with Hero’s other powertrains, it looks sort of like the 163cc engine seen on Xtreme 160R. We hope it has the 4V version which is rated at 16.9 PS of peak power and 14.6 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
New Hero Xpulse 160 Design Compared With Xpulse 200
Other notable giveaways suggesting this is not the Xpulse 200 include the circular disc brakes as opposed to Xpulse 200’s petal discs. These also look a wee bit smaller in diameter. The radiator for Xpulse 200’s oil cooling and windshield are missing too. Another change is in its knuckle guards which are of old type that were hinged at the ends.
    Same design retained?
Comparing these new spy shots with current Xpulse 200, we can see that Hero has carried over the design and body parts. This way, Hero is saving on development and production posts, achieving economies of scale. New Hero Xpulse 160 spied could be packing similar suspension along with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel size combination as well.
New Hero Xpulse 160 Design Compared With Xpulse 200
Speaking of possibilities, Hero could position this motorcycle as Impulse successor and even name it accordingly. It will boast a more affordable price tag and be much lighter in weight than Xpulse 200’s 159 kg kerb weight for Base variant and 161 kg for Pro variant. It is likely to be advertised as an off-roader only, positioned below Xpulse 200 or probably even replace it. Xpulse 210 is more than capable if touring comfortably at triple digit speeds is what you need. More

Tata Harrier EV Spied Undisguised – Launch Nears

Tata Harrier EV Spied UndisguisedWhile following largely the same styling approach as its ICE sibling, Harrier EV will be getting several additional features
As competition intensifies in the electric vehicle segment, Tata Motors aims to boost sales with new product offerings. One of these is the Harrier EV, scheduled for launch on 3rd June. Ahead of that Harrier EV has been spotted undisguised on road tests as seen in the spy shots from automotive enthusiast Avinash Anushe. Harrier EV exudes a macho appeal and massive road presence. Let’s take a look.
Harrier EV Spied Undisguised – Upgrades over ICE Harrier
Based on Tata’s acti.ev Gen 2 EV architecture, Harrier EV is designed to deliver a better performance. It will be Tata’s first electric car to have an all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup. With a dual motor setup, one mounted on each axle, Harrier EV will have improved traction and stability across challenging environments such as off-road, snow and rain. In Tata’s terminology, Harrier EV’s AWD configuration will be marketed as QWD (Quad Wheel Drive).

With dual motors, Harrier EV will have a higher torque output of around 500 Nm. In comparison, ICE Harrier utilizes a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 170 PS and 350 Nm. With the Harrier EV, enthusiasts will be able to unlock more exciting experiences across diverse terrains. Users can also expect enhanced acceleration, easier overtaking and a more dynamic overall performance with the AWD improving handling and versatility.
Overall performance will be further improved with a multi-link rear suspension. In comparison, the ICE Harrier utilizes a torsion beam rear suspension. Users can expect smoother rides over uneven surfaces, along with better handling and stability. Harrier EV will also be getting a self-parking function that Tata calls the ‘Summon Mode’. It is expected that Harrier EV could be equipped with a 60-75 kWh battery pack. Range is expected around 500 km.
    Tata Harrier EV Undisguised
    Exteriors, equipment list
Exterior styling of Harrier EV is largely the same as its ICE counterpart. In the latest spy shots, one can notice the serrated turbine blade wheels that are designed to improve aerodynamic efficiency. The wheels are the same as seen with the unit showcased at the 2025 Bharat Expo. Apart from the wheels, the side profile retains the styling seen with the ICE model. The EV has conventional body-coloured door handles, blacked-out pillars, a slightly rising belt line and the charging port mounted on the right.
At the rear too, Harrier EV has the same profile as the ICE version. At the front, Harrier EV borrows the lighting elements from the ICE Harrier. However, there are some EV-specific differences such as the closed-off grille and a more refined and futuristic bumper section. Harrier EV could also get some new colourways.
    Tata Harrier EV Undisguised
Inside, the equipment list will be mostly the same as seen with ICE Harrier. Some of the key highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control and a 10-speaker JBL sound system. There will be some EV-specific features such as Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging. Safety kit will include Level 2 ADAS, 7 airbags, 360° camera, hill hold assist, blind spot monitoring and tyre pressure monitoring system. More

Kia Carens Clavis Electric Spied With Minor Differences – Compared To ICE

Kia Carens Clavis EV SpottedAll-electric Kia Carens Clavis will be available in two variants, with prices starting at around Rs 20 lakh
After launching its new premium MPV, Carens Clavis, Kia is readying the Carens Clavis EV. Being India’s first mass-market 7-seater electric MPV, Clavis EV gets the first-mover advantage. Test vehicles have been spotted multiple times in recent months. Latest spy shots from Andhra Pradesh reveal some new details. Let’s take a look.
Kia Carens Clavis EV – Charging port, ADAS radar module
Similar to Creta EV, the charging port of Clavis EV is located at the front centre. Clavis EV is expected to share the same electric powertrain, as in use with Creta EV. The latter has battery pack options of 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh. Range is 390 km and 473 km, respectively (as per MIDC Part 1 + Part 2 Cycle). Creta EV has a front-axle mounted electric motor, generating 135 PS with the Standard variant and 171 PS with the Long Range variant. Clavis EV is expected to have similar specifications.
    Kia Carens Clavis EV Spotted
Latest spy shots also reveal an ADAS radar module mounted at the front centre. This configuration is slightly different from the ICE Clavis variants that have the ADAS module mounted to the side. This change in radar placement can be due to Clavis EV’s distinct front-end architecture. A centrally positioned radar can improve sensor alignment and field of view. This setup can work better for specific ADAS functions such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping systems and forward collision warnings.
Overall ADAS package of Clavis EV is expected to be similar as ICE Carens Clavis. There are 20 autonomous ADAS Level 2 features. It includes smart cruise control with stop and go, high beam assist and driver attention warning. Also, blind view monitor, forward collision avoidance assist and rear cross traffic collision warning and avoidance assist.
New Kia Carens Clavis ICE variant
Other safety features expected with Clavis EV include 6-airbags, electronic stability control, hill start assist control, vehicle stability management and all-wheel disc brakes. The MPV will also get tyre pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, dash cam with dual camera and 360° camera with blind view monitor on the cluster.
Kia Carens Clavis EV – Styling, equipment list
From the spy shots, it appears that Clavis EV is using the same Ice Cube MFR LED headlamps and Star Map LED DRLs with integrated turn signals as seen with the ICE Carens Clavis. However, there will be some other changes at the front to achieve a slightly distinctive profile. Unlike the ICE version, which does not have an LED DRL connecting the front LEDs, the EV variant will have an LED DRL. In addition, there will also be some EV-specific badging around the vehicle. Side profile will remain about the same, although the test vehicle can be seen with a new design for the alloy wheels.
Inside, the equipment list will be largely the same as that of ICE Carens Clavis. Some of the key highlights include a 26.62-inch dual panoramic display panel, front ventilated seats, 4-way powered driver’s seat, wireless charger, BOSE Premium sound system with 8-speakers and ambient lighting. However, Clavis EV could get some additional features such as Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging. More

BMW F 450 GS Spied With Minimal Camo – New Details Revealed

New BMW F 450 GS SpiedBMW F 450 GS will likely be launched by the end of this year, with a price tag of around Rs 5 lakh
After discontinuing the G 310 GS, BMW Motorrad is developing a new entry-level addition to its famed GS family. While earlier test mules were heavily camouflaged, latest spy shots provide more clarity on how the bike will look like. The test mule seems close to production-ready. Let’s check out the details.
    BMW F 450 GS – Key highlights
Overall design and styling of BMW F 450 GS seems inspired by its larger sibling, the R 1300 GS. For example, BMW F 450 GS utilizes X-shaped LED DRL elements that are similar to that of R 1300 GS. However, to ensure a distinctive profile, a stacked LED headlamp lighting setup has been used with the F 450 GS. The larger sibling comes with a single LED headlamp.
    New BMW F 450 GS
Other key highlights include sharp LED turn indicators, a large windscreen and a raised front beak. BMW F 450 GS has multi-layered sharp panelling and gets a sculpted fuel tank. While the concept was presented at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo with a single-piece seat, this near-production-ready unit comes with split seats.
Features that instantly get one’s attention include the USD forks and handlebar in golden finish and a chunky upswept exhaust. A number of accessories can be seen such as hand guards, a robust bash plate (likely metallic) and a top box at the rear. The bike has slots for mounting panniers at the rear.
    New BMW F 450 GS
With its compact profile, BMW F 450 GS will effectively meet both urban and mild off-roading needs. The bike has a relaxed riding stance, which makes it suitable for long-distance touring. While the concept was seen with wire-spoke wheels, this test vehicle utilizes alloy wheels. For folks who intend to use the bike more for off-roading, BMW could offer wire-spoke wheels as an accessory.
    Performance, specs
In an earlier statement, BMW had stated that F 450 GS would be using a new twin-cylinder inline engine that had been developed from scratch. With a first-of-its-kind ignition offset, the engine has a distinctive feel and delivers a more engaging throttle response. The engine produces 48 hp, making it ideal for the A2 licence category across Europe. BMW F 450 GS will be using a 6-speed gearbox.
    New BMW F 450 GS
Alloy wheels are 19-inch front and 17-inch rear, wrapped in road-biased dual-purpose tyres. Both ends have disc brakes and dual-channel ABS will be standard. To meet the A2 license category requirements, the bike will have a kerb weight of 175 kg. The bike has a preload-adjustable mono-shock with load-dependent damping at the rear. Rider aids expected with the BMW F 450 GS include traction control, configurable riding modes and cornering ABS. A 6.5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth will ensure seamless connectivity and navigation.
    New BMW F 450 GS
Similar to the now discontinued G 310 GS, the BMW F 450 GS will be manufactured by TVS Motor. Launch in India is expected later this year. BMW F 450 GS will challenge rivals such as Honda NX500, KTM 390 Adventure, CFMoto 450 MT, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and upcoming Aprilia Tuareg 457.

India-Made Triumph Scrambler T4 Spied Testing Abroad

    Triumph Scrambler T4
Triumph Motorcycles is about to launch new versions of its Scrambler 400X to expand the lineup. Yes, we will see the launch of a more off-road version of this motorcycle soon, in the form of Triumph Scrambler 400XC. But we have not forgotten the Scrambler T4 (name not confirmed) which was spied testing in India once.
This motorcycle is speculated to be a more affordable version of Scrambler 400X in the same way Speed T4 is an affordable version of Speed 400. After that one appearance in India, this motorcycle has been spied testing again abroad. Let’s take a look at what it has to offer and what we should expect from this upcoming motorcycle.
    Triumph Scrambler T4
    Triumph Scrambler T4 Spied Testing
Considering Triumph’s past naming schemes, one can speculate that this motorcycle might not be called Scrambler T4. At least in global markets. Triumph could advertise this motorcycle as a Street Scrambler and name it Street Scrambler 400 or Scrambler 400 RS. This falls in line with what Triumph has done in the past with its twin-cylinder classic motorcycle range.
However, we can’t ignore the possibility of this being called Scrambler T4 because Speed T4 exists and this follows a similar ethos of cutting down on equipment and premium quotient. On this recent test mule, we can see some testing equipment strapped on its back and it does not feature any camouflage.
    Triumph Scrambler T4
We can see a new side body panel that establishes a unique appearance. Also striking unique appearance is the new shorter windscreen and USD forks have been finished in a non-flashy Black shade. Triumph Scrambler T4 misses out on split seat design and gets a single-piece unit. Rubber tank pads are missing too.
Triumph Scrambler T4 Spied In India
    What to expect?
Rear section is completely new and it features simpler tail lights and rear pillion grabrail. Handlebar is simpler too and it misses out on brace pads. Along with that, Triumph has also removed knuckle guards from the equation. Triumph Scrambler T4 continues to get the same semi-digital instrument cluster as Scrambler 400X.
    Triumph Scrambler T4
Powering this vehicle might be the same engine as Speed T4, which is downtuned and equipped with less premium hardware when compared to Speed 400. It might feature a manual throttle and a lower state of tune generating around 30.6 bhp of peak power at 7,000 RPM and 36 Nm of torque at 5,000 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
