2025 Honda CBR150R Debuts With New Colours, Updates

2025 Honda CBR150RNew 2025 Honda CBR150R sports bike gets two new colours in Malaysia, while equipment list remains the same as earlier
2025 Honda CBR150R has been launched with new colour options of Honda Tricolor and Silver. Price has been increased slightly by RM100, which is approximately Rs 2,000. Let’s check out the details of the new colour options introduced with the 2025 Honda CBR150R.
    2025 Honda CBR150R – New colours
Among the two new colours introduced for the 2025 Honda CBR150R, the Honda Tricolor is the most captivating. It essentially highlights Honda’s rich motorsport heritage that’s all about speed and competition. Along with the dominant red colour that covers most of the surfaces, there are contrasting shades of white and blue. These can be seen most prominently on the side fairing and the fuel tank. Overall look and feel is further improved with the USD forks in golden finish.
    2025 Honda CBR150R
Talking about the new Silver colour scheme, it is relatively sober in comparison to the Honda Tricolor option. Most exciting part is the contrasting accents in bright yellow colour. These can be seen across the front fascia, side fairing, fuel tank and seat section. With finer brush strokes used for the yellow shade, the overall look and feel seems a lot more refined. In a way, the Silver colour theme embodies sporty elegance, in contrast to the more ostentatious Honda Tricolor shade.
In terms of its design, there are no changes to the 2025 Honda CBR150R. The bike draws inspiration from its larger-capacity siblings such as the CBR1000RR-R, CBR650R, and CBR250RR. Some of the key highlights include an aggressive front fascia, sleek dual LED headlamp setup with sharp DRLs, front-cowl-mounted trendy rear-view mirrors and a compact windscreen. The bike has a sculpted fuel tank, sporty fairing, split seats and upswept exhaust.

    2025 Honda CBR150R – Performance, specs
Equipment list for 2025 Honda CBR150R is the same as earlier. Powering the bike is a 149.2 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, DOHC engine that generates 16.09 hp and 13.7 Nm of torque. It is mated to a constant mesh, 6 speed gearbox and comes with an assist and slipper clutch. The engine is designed to deliver a powerful performance all while ensuring a smooth and responsive experience. The liquid cooling prevents overheating, something that is quite useful in demanding situations.
    2025 Honda CBR150R
Honda CBR150R utilizes a diamond frame, suspended on USD forks at front and swing arm with monoshock (Pro-Link) system at the rear. The bike uses 17-inch wheels, wrapped with 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tubeless tyres. Braking setup comprises disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. With a seat height of 788 mm, users can expect optimal control and handling. The bike’s kerb weight of 137 kg is also quite manageable.
Safety features include an emergency stop signal (ESS) that warns other road users about emergency braking scenarios. Honda CBR150R is a 5-star rated bike, as per the MyMAP Program. It certifies that the bike complies with UN regulations, production standards and has the necessary safety features. Tech kit for Honda CBR150R includes a full digital colour instrument panel. It complements the bike’s sporty profile and displays a wide range of information in a clear, concise format. More

    2025 Honda CBR250RR Debuts With New Colour – 42 Bhp, 25 Nm

2025 Honda CBR250RRHonda is a world renowned motorcycle manufacturer and has an extremely vast portfolio, many of which are not on sale in India for feasibility reasons. One such motorcycle is CBR250RR, which has been patented in India in early 2023. Now, this motorcycle has been updated to MY25 version with subtle updates. Let’s take a look.
    2025 Honda CBR250RR Debuts
Indian motorcycle market used to get the Honda CBR250R, a single-cylinder quarter-litre motorcycle. However, Honda also has a more hardcore quarter-litre offering in the form of CBR250RR. More R’s in the name directly means more sportiness, more performance and more race-worthiness in Honda’s nomenclature.
    2025 Honda CBR250RR
CBR250RR has been patented in India, but it looks like it was more of an IP protection exercise than launch intention. However, CBR250RR is a popular motorcycle among motorcycling enthusiasts across the world. For 2025, Honda has subtly updated its quarter-litre pocket rocket with a new colourway.
Speaking of colours, Honda is offering three in total – Grand Prix Red, Pearl Glare White and Matte Buret Silver. Where pricing is concerned, Matte Buret Silver has been priced at JPY 902,000 (approx Rs 5.32 lakh), while Grand Prix Red and Pearl Glare White colourways are priced at JPY 940,500 (approx Rs 5.55 lakh).
    2025 Honda CBR250RR
    What else is new?
Design continues to be aerodynamic with a sharp fairing inspired by company’s flagship CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. LED headlights, LED DRLs, an aerodynamic windscreen, fairing-mounted ORVMs, LED blinkers, chiseled fuel tank, low-set clip-on handlebars, premium switchgear, split seats, a digital instrument cluster are notable elements.
Componentry includes USD telescopic Showa SFF-BP forks in Gold shade, rear mono-shock setup, single-petal disc at either ends with dual-channel ABS, 17-inch alloy wheels, 110-section front and 140-section rear tyres, dual-barrel exhaust and 14.5L fuel tank are highlights. All these are mounted on a potent chassis that boasts a kerb weight of 168 kg.
    2025 Honda CBR250RR
Powering this motorcycle is a 249cc parallel twin-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC 4V/cyl engine that is capable of developing a peak power of 42 PS at 13,500 RPM and a peak torque of 25 Nm at 10,750 RPM, mated to a slipper clutch, 6-speed gearbox and a quick shifter. We hope Honda launch this motorcycle in India. If it does, it will take on motorcycle with similar performance like Aprilia RS 457 and Yamaha R3.

    2025 Honda CB350 RS & H’ness CB350 Launched With New Colours

2025 Honda CB350 RSHMSI (Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India) has been making a lot of headlines in the recent past. The company in February 2025, surpassed Hero MotoCorp in terms of YTD sales when compared to sales performance last year. Now, the company just updated H’Ness CB350 and CB350 RS to MY25 versions. Let’s take a closer look.
    2025 Honda CB350 RS & H’ness CB350
One look at the 350cc to 450cc motorcycle sales charts, we can see that Royal Enfield absolutely dominates this segment with a slew of 350cc motorcycles. Challenging these Royal Enfield motorcycles are Honda’s CB350 lineup consisting of the CB350 (Classic), H’ness CB350 and CB350 RS.
The company just updated 2025 Honda CB350 RS and H’ness CB350 with a bunch of new colours and graphics that transform the overall look and appeal of both these machines. Honda is yet to announce prices for these motorcycles, which was not reflected on the website. There is a small probability of prices staying the same to be competitive against immediate rivals.
    2025 Honda CB350 RS Colours
    Changes with 2025 CB350 RS
CB350 RS gets a slightly sportier look when compared to H’ness CB350 and CB350 (Classic). It looks slightly Scrambler-esque, which is probably its biggest draw. With MY25 update, Honda has refreshed the colour palette and is mono-tone only and devoid of graphics, unlike the 2025 H’ness CB350.
Top of the fuel tank gets an interesting patch to add some contrast. Where colours are concerned, DLX trim levels offers Pearl Deep Ground Grey and Pearl Igneous Black shades. The higher-spec DLX Pro trim offers two extra colours on top of DLX – Mat Axis Grey Metallic and Rebel Red Metallic.
    2025 Honda H’ness CB350
    Changes with 2025 H’ness CB350
Starting with H’ness CB350, Honda is offering new colours across the trim lineup – DLX, DLX Pro and DLX Pro Chrome. Base DLX trim gets Pearl Deep Ground Grey and Pearl Igneous Black. DLX Pro trim gets the additional Rebel Red Metallic shade. DLX Pro Chrome colours are the most special as they get attractive graphics on the fuel tank as well.
The new colours with DLX Pro Chrome are Athletic Blue Metallic, Mat Massive Grey Metallic and Pearl Nightstar Black. These colour variants also get Chrome highlights which can be seen on front and rear mudguards. 2025 Honda H’ness CB350 lack fork gaiters for the front suspension, lending a cleaner look.
    2025 Honda H’ness CB350 Colours
    OBD2B compliant powertrain
It has to be noted that both these motorcycles now miss out on custom packs to transform the looks and functionality. Where powertrains are concerned, 2025 Honda CB350 RS and H’ness CB350 will be equipped with the same 348cc single-cylinder air cooled engine with 20.78 bhp of peak power and 30 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine will be OBD2B compliant. More

Honda H’ness CB350 New Colours Reach Showrooms – Launch Soon

Honda H’ness CB350 New ColoursIn a bid to better rival Royal Enfield’s robust 350cc portfolio, Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has rolled the dice again. This time, the company seems to be launching new colours with H’ness CB350 to attract buyers and boost sales against Royal Enfield’s 350cc motorcycles like Bullet 350 and Classic 350.
    Honda H’ness CB350 New Colours
The retro classic motorcycle segment within the 350cc segment has seen a major demand in India. Catering to this demand, we have stalwart motorcycle manufacturers like Royal Enfield, Honda, Triumph, Harley-Davidson and Classic Legends brands, Jawa and Yezdi. One look at the sales charts show India’s one-sided love affair towards Royal Enfield.
    Honda H’ness CB350 New Colours
Challenging Royal Enfield at this game is Honda H’ness CB350, which is offered in DLX, DLX Pro, DLX Pro Chrome and the customization kits. The colours offered with H’ness CB350 include Precious Red Metallic, Mat Marshall Green Metallic, Pearl Nightstar Black and Mat Massive Grey Metallic along with Chrome colours like Athletic Blue Metallic.
Now, Honda seems to be adding new colours to H’ness CB350 as seen in the leaks on social media. There are three new colours in question and all of them look like they are Glossy metallic colours. Also, all three of them get interesting dual tone graphics on the fuel tank, which lend a retro vibe.
    Honda H’ness CB350 New Colours
Exact names of these colours are not out yet. It is not yet confirmed which of the H’ness CB350’s trims get these new colours. In the leaked images, we can see these new colour variants in the dealer showrooms, suggesting that the launch might be right around the corner.
    Any other changes?
In the images, we can see that these new colour variants from Honda get split seat setup with brown seat cover. All three of these new colours lack rubber fork gaiters which H’ness 350 always had. There is chrome in both mud guards along with chrome highlights in the engine bay. While the exhaust can’t be seen in these images, it is likely to be chrome as well.
Apart from the new colours and graphics, there doesn’t seem to be any other changes on these motorcycles. It will continue to be powered by the same 348cc single-cylinder air cooled engine that is capable of generating 20.78 bhp of peak power and 30 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Honda Activa Electric Scooter in Black – Arrives at Dealer Showroom

Honda Activa Electric Scooter in BlackHonda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has taken a significant step in the electric two-wheeler segment as the first batch of Honda Activa Electric (eActiva) scooters has started arriving at dealerships. Spy shots confirm that both the Activa E and QC1 models are being dispatched to showrooms, ahead of their official launch. Bookings and price announcements are expected to take place this month, with deliveries scheduled to begin in February 2025.
Honda Electric Scooters – Activa E and QC1
To cater to a broader customer base, Honda is introducing two variants—Activa E with a removable dual battery pack setup and QC1 with a fixed single battery pack. The Activa E is expected to be positioned as a more premium offering, featuring dual swappable lithium-ion batteries of 1.5 kWh each, delivering 8.15 PS of peak power, a certified range of 102 km, and a top speed of 80 km/h.
    Honda Activa e
It also boasts a gradeability of 13 degrees, making it more capable of handling inclines. The QC1, on the other hand, is a more affordable option, featuring a single 1.5 kWh battery pack, producing 2.44 PS, and offering a range of 80 km with a top speed of 50 km/h. Its gradeability is limited to 7 degrees, which may affect its uphill performance.
    Production Plans
Honda aims to produce 1 lakh units of these electric scooters in 2025, ensuring strong localization with 99% of components sourced within India. Production is currently being handled at Honda’s Narsapura facility in Karnataka, while its other plants in Alwar, Manesar, and Vithalapur will continue manufacturing ICE two-wheelers.
    Honda Activa Electric India
The company is implementing a phased rollout strategy for its electric scooters, starting with major metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, before expanding to other locations across the country. The Activa E and QC1 will be sold via Honda’s existing dealerships, rather than through an exclusive EV retail network. Dedicated EV sections will be set up within these showrooms to ensure seamless sales and service support.
A key highlight of the Activa E is its Battery as a Service (BaaS) model, which allows users to swap batteries instead of charging them at home. This not only lowers the upfront cost of ownership but also eliminates concerns about battery life and maintenance.
With the arrival of its first batch of electric scooters at dealerships, Honda is preparing to compete with established EV players like Ola Electric, Ather, and Bajaj Chetak. By offering both swappable and fixed battery options, a high level of localization, and a strong dealership network, Honda is well-positioned to make a significant impact in India’s fast-growing electric two-wheeler market.

Honda SCR125 Scooter Patented In India – Smaller Than Activa, Dio

Honda SCR125 Scooter Patented In India
India’s leading scooter manufacturer, Honda, seems to be interested in expanding its scooter portfolio. We say this because the company has just patented Honda SCR125 scooter in India and might have launch intentions. This is a smaller scooter that will slot below Activa and Dio, if it is launched in India. Let’s take a look.
    Honda SCR125 Scooter Patented
Being the largest scooter manufacturer in India, Honda has found great success from Activa and Dio. Primarily Activa. However, the company has not found any success with scooters below the Activa and Dio. We’ve had Navi scooter X Motorcycle which didn’t appeal to buyers and we had CliQ, which didn’t click.
Honda SCR125 Scooter Patented In India
Now, Honda has patented SCR125 Xisha scooter in India, which could launch as a smaller scooter below Activa and Dio. Honda Scooter and Motorcycles India (HMSI) has not officially confirmed whether it will launch SCR125 Xisha or not. Also, there is a good probability of this patent just being an IP protection exercise, just like the Honda CG 160.
    Honda SCR125 Xisha
Where design is concerned, Honda SCR125 Xisha is a conventional and practical step-through scooter for families. It has apron-mounted halogen headlight and handlebar-mounted turn indicators. Rear design is conventional too as it has a halogen tail light and halogen turn indicators at both ends.
    Honda SCR125 Xisha
    Specs & Features
For practicality, Honda is offering two open glove boxes behind the apron along with a hook. There’s a USB charging port beside a conventional keyhole, a solid stainless steel rear shelf, a single-piece comfortable seat, spacious floorboard, alloy wheels, disc brake setup at the front and a parking brake.
    Honda SCR125 Xisha
Instrument cluster is simple and is of analogue type completely. Fuel tank has 6L capacity, minimum ground clearance is 110 mm, wheelbase is 1,245 mm and the kerb weight is 103 kg. Honda SCR125 Xisha is powered by a 125cc engine that is rated at 8.85 bhp of peak power and an 88 km/h top speed.
