2023 Bajaj Pulsar N 150 In New Spy Shots – More Sporty

As part of the ongoing initiative to update the Pulsar range, Bajaj is expected to launch Pulsar N150 soon2023 Bajaj Pulsar N150 Spied TestingLaunch of Pulsar 250 twins was a major milestone for Bajaj, as it demonstrated a significant leap in performance as well as a new, sportier design language. Taking Pulsar 250 twins as the benchmark, Bajaj is looking to introduce a similar set of features for other Pulsar motorcycles. After N160, the next in line to get the updates include Pulsar 150 and Pulsar NS125. These two are among the primary volume generators for the company. Bajaj will be looking to launch the updated versions in the shortest possible time.2023 Pulsar N 150 spottedTwo variants of Pulsar N 150 have been spotted, one with disc-drum combo and another with disc brakes at both ends. While the test mules are fully camouflaged, the contours and outlines look familiar to pulsar 250 twins and N 160. It is apparent that some signature features of Pulsar 150 will be retained to ensure a distinctive identity. It is easy to see that Pulsar N 150 has a more aggressive profile, as compared to existing Pulsar 150. Headlamp cowl has a sharper design and front mudguard has been shortened to achieve a sporty look and feel. Tank Shrouds and side panels appear to be similar to existing variant, but Pulsar N150 is likely to get sportier graphics and decals. Some new colour options are also likely.2023 Bajaj Pulsar N150 Spied TestingIn terms of performance, one of the key updates is monoshock rear suspension. Existing Pulsar 150 has dual-rear shock absorbers. While both suspension setups have their advantages, a monoshock suspension is known to improve stability and handling. Monoshock ensures more precise damping, thereby allowing agile characteristics for the bike. This will be useful for tackling busy city streets. However, monoshock suspension is not so great for carrying heavy loads.Pulsar N150 performanceJust like N160, Pulsar N150 could also get some performance updates. For example, recently launched Pulsar N160 has been equipped with an updated engine that promises faster acceleration and improved reliability. Relevant changes have been incorporated to ensure smoother gear shifts and reduced noise and vibrations. Upcoming Pulsar N150 could also benefit from a similar set of updates. In its current form, Bajaj Pulsar 150 is powered by a 149.50 cc motor that generates 14 PS of max power at 8,500 rpm and 13.25 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike has 17-inch wheels at both ends, shod with 90/90 front and 120/80 rear tubeless tyres (dual-disc variant).2023 Bajaj Pulsar N150 Spied Testing2022 Pulsar N 150 is expected to be launched at around the same price as that of existing model. It will depend on the overall quantum of updates introduced for N150. Current Pulsar 150 is available at Rs 1.14 lakh. Pulsar N150 will rival the likes of Honda Unicorn, Yamaha FZ-Fi Version 3.0 and TVS Apache RTR 160.Source More

New Bajaj Pulsar Spied Testing – Is It 125cc Or 150cc ?

After launching biggest 250cc Pulsar and new-gen N160, Bajaj is in the process of introducing similar design aesthetics across the Pulsar rangeNew Bajaj Pulsar N125 or New 150cc?It is likely that the next in line to get cosmetic updates and possibly some performance boost will be the bestselling Pulsar motorcycles. In that sense, the preferred candidates will be Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150. As of now, more than 80% of overall Pulsar motorcycle sales are contributed by smaller capacity Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150. The former is the largest contributor with more than 50% share in Pulsar sales.A test mule spotted recently can be seen with front and rear disc brakes. This increases the likelihood of Pulsar 150. As compared to existing Pulsar 150 that has dual gas filled rear shock absorber, the test mule can be seen with monoshock rear suspension. This feature is already available with NS125. Another key difference can be seen in the underbelly exhaust, as compared to a standard-looking upswept exhaust used with current Pulsar 150.New Pulsar N125 and Pulsar 150 featuresWhile test mules of N125 / new-gen Pulsar 150 have been spotted wearing heavy camouflage, it is easy to notice that the core design language is similar to Pulsar 250 and N160. Some of the key features include aggressive headlamp design, sporty rear view mirrors, beefy tank shrouds, telescopic front forks, prominent engine cowl, sleek turn signals and sharp tail section.New Bajaj Pulsar N125 or New 150cc?While Pulsar 250 and N160 and even NS125 have split-seat design, it is likely that Pulsar N125 and new-gen Pulsar 150 will be getting a single-piece seat. NS125 already has an underbelly exhaust, which will be visually largely the same with N125. Both N125 and new-gen Pulsar 150 will have a comfortable riding stance, with centrally placed foot pegs and ergonomically placed handlebar.Pulsar N125, Pulsar 150 performanceIt is possible that engines for N125 and Pulsar 150 can be updated, as per new architecture used for Pulsar 250. Recently launched N160 also utilizes an updated engine that offers improved reliability and faster acceleration. It has segment-best torque availability and fastest passing acceleration in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear. Gear shifts have been smoothened and noise and vibrations have been reduced. Similar set of improvements can be expected with the Pulsar N125 and new Pulsar 150.New Bajaj Pulsar N125 or New 150cc?When launched, Pulsar N125 will work as a replacement for current NS125. In its current format, NS125 generates 12 PS of max power at 8,500 rpm and 11 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed constant mesh transmission. In case of Pulsar 150, power and torque output is 14 PS and 13.25 Nm.Sensing more opportunities in 125cc segment, Bajaj is also readying CT125X. It will be a sportier version of the entry-level CT motorcycle, with features like rugged headlamp design with metal guards, V-shaped DRL, fork gaiters, tank pads, quilted seat design and rear rack. Engine could be same as the upcoming Pulsar N125. Launch price of Bajaj CT125X is likely to be around Rs 80k. It will take on rivals such as Hero Glamour, Hero Super Splendor, Honda Shine and Honda SP125.Source More

2023 Bajaj Pulsar N125 Spied – New 125cc Rival To Raider, Glamour

After launching the new gen versions of Pulsar N250 and N160, Bajaj is now getting ready to launch N125 new gen2023 Bajaj Pulsar N125 SpiedBajaj is on the verge of restructuring the company’s Pulsar lineup. Launch of Pulsar F250, N250 and more recently the N160, reflects this. Bajaj has filed new trademarks for Pulsar Eleganz, Pulsar Elan and Twinner in India. Now, we have managed to get our hands on spy shots of Pulsar N125 under testing with heavy camouflage. A total of two test mules were spied together. They were spotted testing in Alibaug, Maharashtra, credits to Bhargav Mhatre. Let’s take a look at the new updates.2023 Bajaj Pulsar N125 SpiedFrom the looks of it, we can speculate that it is the Pulsar N125. We say this because it looks like it has a smaller 125cc mill. This engine might be shared with Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS125. The engine also looks like it is only air-cooled as it doesn’t have any oil-cooling equipment installed on the motorcycle. It is expected to make around 11.6 bhp of power and 10.8 Nm of torque. In terms of looks, it looks similar to the recently launched Pulsar N160 and the bigger N250. As a result, the fuel tank and muscular shrouds look like they are identical to bigger Pulsar N250’s proportions making it look macho. The tail section is reminiscent of the Pulsar N160 and N250 with twin LED tail lights. But it gets an old-fashioned grab handle instead of the split unit on the former.2023 Bajaj Pulsar N125 SpiedOther similarities with Pulsar N160 include the same instrument cluster, projector headlight, LED DRLs, handlebars, turn indicators, mirrors, and a lot more. What about differences? You might ask. There are a few. Apart from a single-piece grab handle, Pulsar N125 test mule gets a single-piece seat, a small cowl above the instrument cluster, drum brake at the rear, skinny rear tyre, and a telescopic front suspension and not a lot more. The rider on the test bike seems to have a neutral seating position. Rider’s footpegs seem to be centrally set. This will provide an excellent rider’s triangle for city commutes as well as the occasional highway cruise.Launch Plans?Bajaj Auto seems to be expanding its 125cc portfolio. We recently spotted new CT 125X at a showroom recently. Then they have the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS125. At the pricier end of their 125cc range, we will get this, Pulsar N125, which might replace the existing Pulsar NS125. More info regarding this will be provided by Bajaj Auto in the coming months.Pulsar 125 is the second-highest selling 125cc motorcycle in India after the Honda Shine 125. But as seen in the sales charts, Pulsar’s 125cc lineup is declining slightly on MoM basis. Pulsar N125 might be enough to jump-start it back up, right? Exact pricing is not yet known. But Pulsar N125 is likely to cost around the same as NS125. When launched, it will compete with Honda CB Shine, TVS Raider, Hero Glamour and the likes. Pulsar N125 is likely to launch in 2023. More
