Bajaj Pulsar 250 F Blue ColourMore colour options a bike has, the easier it becomes to satisfy varying user tastes and preferencesExpanding its Pulsar range, Bajaj had launched its biggest ever Pulsar motorcycles N250 and F250 last year in October. These were offered at introductory price of Rs 1.38 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh, respectively. Current colour options for Pulsar 250 are Racing Red and Techno Grey. Although both N250 and F250 have the same colour option, they have different graphics.Bajaj Pulsar 250 BlueA move likely based on market feedback, a new blue colour has been introduced for Pulsar F250. This shade of blue is slightly different from blue shades used on other Bajaj motorcycles. Latest example involves a Bajaj Pulsar 220F 2010 model that gets a scrambler-inspired makeover. The modified bike has been aptly named Pulsar 220 FSB (fastest shooting brake). Bajaj Pulsar brand of bikes are offered in multiple options (ranging from 125cc to 250cc) with price starting from Rs 66,586. Speaking about sales performance in Dec 2021, total sales in domestic and export markets stood at 86,979 units, down 18 percent YoY from 1,06,068 units sold in December 2020.
MoM sales and exports increased marginally by 1.42 percent from 85,763 units sold in November 2021. Every model in the Pulsar range dipped on a YoY basis while Pulsar 160, 180, 200 range saw a 40.78 percent increase in MoM sales to 40,596 units, up from 28,837 units sold in November 2021.

Bajaj Pulsar domestic sales stood at 59,225 units last month, down 14.22 percent over 69,044 units sold in December 2020. MoM sales also fell 4.34 percent from 61,913 units sold in November 2021.
Bajaj Pulsar 125 topped sales charts with 27,900 units sold in December 2021, down 34.64 percent from 42,686 units sold in December 2020. MoM sales also dipped 34.06 percent from 42,311 units sold in November 2021. This also resulted in share percentage falling from 68.34 percent to 47.11 percent MoM.

Pulsar 150 (150 Neon, 150, and 150 Twin-disc) saw a 36.13 percent YoY growth to 27,169 units, up from 19,169 units sold in December 2020. MoM sales noted an even higher growth rate at 107.65 percent from 13,084 units sold in November 2021.
Sales of Bajaj Pulsar 250 dipped 41.73 percent YoY to 2,621 units from 4,498 units sold in December 2020 while MoM sales increased 306.99 percent from 644 units sold in November 2021. On the other hand sales of Pulsar 160, 180 and 200 dipped 19.30 percent YoY to 1,535 units from 1,902 units sold in December 2020 and down 73.87 percent MoM over 5,874 units sold in November 2021.

Bajaj also registered a Year-on-Year decline in terms of Pulsar exports in December 2021. Total exports in the past month stood at 27,754 units, down 25.04 percent over 37,024 units shipped in December 2020. MoM performance was better with a 16.37 percent increase over 23,850 units shipped in November 2021.

Exports of Pulsar 220F / 250 increased last month by 49.35 percent to 3,992 units while MoM exports surged by 159.90 percent from 1,536 units shipped in November 2021. Bajaj Pulsar sales have not been so promising either in terms of domestic sales or exports, both of which have posted YoY and MoM de-growth. Last month, Bajaj Auto announced that plans were afoot to update the existing range of Pulsar bikes with new gen models. The company is known to be working on these new gen models and with the Pulsar 125 and 150 bringing in most sales, these could be the two that will receive the updates first.
Bajaj Pulsar Sales Nov 2021 – Domestic Market
Bajaj Pulsar sales in November 2021 stood at 61,913 units, down 40.98 percent over 1,04,904 units sold in November 2020. It was also a MoM de-growth of 28.42 percent over 86,500 units sold in October 2021. Each model in the Pulsar range has posted de-growth.
Pulsar 125 contributed the most to total sales in the past month. Sales stood at 42,311 units, down 25.18 percent over 56,549 units sold in November 2020 but with a share of 68.24 percent over 56.26 percent held in October 2021 when sales had stood at 48,662 units.
Pulsar 150 sales also dipped 57.41 percent YoY and 46.59 percent MoM to 13,084 units in November 2021 down from 30,719 units sold in November 2020. In October 2021, sales had stood at 24,495 units. Share also dipped from 28.32 percent held in October 2021 to 21.13 percent in the past month.

Of the Pulsar 160, 180 and 200, the company noted sales to the extent of 5,874 units last month, down 44.17 percent over 4,648 units sold in November 2020. MoM sales dipped 20.70 percent from 7,407 units sold in October 2021 even as share went up from 8.56 percent to 9.49 percent.
Sales of Pulsar 220F / 250 fell by 90.85 percent to 644 units last month, down from 7,114 units sold in November 2020 while MoM sales dipped 89.15 percent over 5,936 units sold in October 2021. Pulsar 220F has been discontinued, as it makes way for new gen N250 and F250.

Exports of the Pulsar brand also suffered de-growth in November 2021. Shipments dipped to 23,850 units, down 26.71 percent over 32,540 units sold in November 2020 while MoM exports fell 10.71 percent from 26,711 units sold in October 2021.

In global market, it was Pulsar 220F (1,536 units) that posted a YoY and MoM growth while the Pulsar 150 (10,632 units) saw a marginal increase on a MoM basis. Pulsar 160,180 and 200 exports fell 33.72 percent YoY to 9,410 units while MoM shipments dipped 1945 percent over 11,682 units sold in October 2021. Pulsar 125 exports fell 60.96 percent YoY to 2,272 units and 45.23 percent MoM from 4,148 units exported in October 2021.
Taking total sales of the Pulsar range into account, sales dipped YoY and MoM. YoY sales were down 37.60 percent to 85,763 units from 1,37,444 units sold in November 2020 and down 24.24 percent over 1,13,211 units sold in October 2021. Even as each of the models in this range dipped YoY, growth was seen on a MoM basis in all models under the Pulsar range except for Pulsar 125 which fell 11.43 percent to 46,773 units.

The Pulsar range of motorcycles is in a transition phase with Bajaj planning to bring a series of new generation models. It has started with two new Pulsar 250 models- N250 and F250 which will be followed by new Pulsar models with lower displacements.
It appears as if the twin siblings have witnessed a decent start in the first month since Bajaj clocked a monthly volume of 3,38,473 units in November which comprises both domestic sales as well as exports. The Chakan-based bikemaker is leaving no stone unturned in promoting the new offerings among the masses.

Though the Pulsar 250 has been launched, but it is yet to reach at all dealerships across India. The motorcycles are arriving at different cities across India in phases. First unit of the motorcycle was delivered in Pune, which is where the motorcycle is manufactured.
Speaking about the free Bajaj Pulsar offered – Recently, an Instagram user jokingly requested Bajaj on social media to gift him a new Pulsar F250. The company decided to grant his wish. But with a condition – if the comment posted receives at least 250,000 likes.

Pulsar 250- Hardware Specs
The new Pulsar 250 is underpinned by a brand new tubular chassis which doesn’t share any of its elements with the current Pulsar models. The chassis is suspended on 37mm conventional telescopic forks upfront and a mono-shock with Nitrox at rear. Braking duties are handled by a 300mm disc at front and a 230mm rotor at rear which are aided by a single-channel ABS.
The motorcycles ride on 17-inch alloy wheels which are wrapped around by 100/80 section and 130/70 section tyres a front and rear respectively. While the naked iteration weighs 162kg, the semi-faired version tips the weighing scales at 164kg. Both bikes share a similar set of features such as full-LED lighting, a USB charger and a semi-digital instrument console.
Engine Specs & Design
Powering the new Pulsar 250 siblings is a 249.07cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that delivers an output of 24.1 bhp at 8,750rpm and 21.5 Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The motor is paired with a five-speed gearbox that benefits from an assist and slipper clutch function.
N250 and F250 differ in their styling. While the former is a naked streetfighter, the latter semi-faired sports commuter. F250 gets a front-heavy faired body with a large windscreen upfront and a slightly raised up clip-on handlebar. On the other hand, N250 gets a bikini fairing at front with a slightly low-set single-piece handlebar. /Apart from these minute variations both motorcycles flaunt a similar design.
