TVS Apache RTX 310 ADV Leaked – Himalayan 450 Rival Launch In 2025?

TVS Apache RTX 310 RenderComing from TVS, Apache RTX 310 ADV will have an overload of features, gizmos, technology and an extensive electronic rider aids
One of India’s leading 2W and 3W vehicle manufacturers, TVS Motor, is expanding its portfolio to include an ADV offering. The company has never launched an ADV yet, and will reportedly positioned on TVS-BMW’s 310 platform. Recent developments show that this motorcycle is in its final testing phase and could see a launch in 2025.
    TVS Apache RTX 310 ADV
The company has an extensive lineup of premium bikes spread across Apache and Ronin brands. TVS has showcased a Scrambler version of Ronin, called Ronin SCR and might have launch intentions with this product as the design was patented too. ADVs like Royal Enfield Himalayan and KTM 390 Adventure are currently popular.
TVS Apache RTX 310 ADV Leaked
New developments from TVS camp suggest that the company is eyeing for a 310 platform-based ADV motorcycle. A recent report suggests that a 300cc ADV motorcycle has been spied testing and has reached final stages of testing with a production model reportedly set to launch in mid-2025.
The report also attached a snippet of what looks like an ADV motorcycle from TVS. This could be taken from one of TVS’ internal presentations. Looking at the silhouette, one can deduce that TVS is going for a proper adventure tourer with a semi-fairing and a tall windscreen to protect riders from wind blasts.
    TVS Apache RTX Name Trademarked
    What can we expect?
These developments call for speculations as to what we can expect from this upcoming motorcycle. For starters, we think TVS might position this under the Apache brand and utilise the already trademarked “Apache RTX” name. Going by company’s strategies, RR is a supersport, RTR is a street fighter and RTX could be an adventure tourer.
Secondly, we can speculate what TVS might offer with this bike in terms of components. The leaked image suggests there may be 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels with tubeless tyres, fully adjustable suspension (compression and rebound front, rebound and preload rear) and disc brakes at both ends with switchable dual-channel ABS.
TVS Apache RTX 310 ADV Render
Where features are concerned, TVS is highly likely to jam-pack this motorcycle with electronics and features. We can expect a sophisticated IMU with cruise control, cornering control, traction control, ABS modes among others. We can see ventilated seats for both rider and pillion along with a TFT cluster with a plethora of features including music control and navigation.
Powertrains-wise, the same 310cc reverse inclined single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC 4V unit might power the upcoming TVS Apache RTX 310 ADV. The 450cc twin-cylinder unit recently debuted on BMW F 450 GS Concept is highly unlikely. Same performance metrics as recently launched Apache RR 310, 37.5 bhp and 29 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox, slipper clutch and bi-directional quick-shifter are possible.

2025 Honda Dio 125 Debuts With New Colours – India Launch Likely?

2025 Honda Dio 125 South KoreaThe same 124cc single cylinder air-cooled engine with 8.2 bhp and 10.6 Nm also powers the 2025 Honda Dio 125 debuted in South Korea
HMSI (Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India) has positioned itself as the country’s de facto scooter manufacturer. With the help of Activa and Dio, Honda has emerged as the leader in scooter segment. Dio is the sportier and more aggressively designed offering and has garnered great reception in India.
The company offers Dio in both 110cc and more recently, 125cc engine variants with a multitude of features and creature comforts. But it could always do with more colours. One particular colour sparked our interest, seen on the newly launched 2025 Honda Dio for South Korean market. Let’s take a look.
2025 Honda Dio 125 South Korea
2025 Honda Dio 125 Debuts In South Korea
In South Korea, Honda has launched the 2025 Dio 125 for a starting price of KRW 2,690,000 including VAT. Which roughly translates to Rs 1.62 lakh in today’s currency exchange rates. There are just two colours on offer in South Korea – Mat Axis Gray Metallic and Pearl Deep Ground Gray.
For context, HMSI offers Dio 125 in India for a starting price of Rs 84,851 (Ex-sh) for STD model and Rs 91,750 (Ex-sh) for the SMART variant with Honda’s Smart Key feature. In India, there are many colour options to choose from – Mat Sangria Red Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Nightster Black, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, Sports Red, Pearl Siren Blue and Mat Marvel Blue Metallic.
Honda Dio 125 South Korea – Pearl Deep Ground Gray
Both South Korean and Indian markets get Mat Axis Gray Metallic and Pearl Deep Ground Gray colours. But they don’t appear the same. South Korean Mat Axis Gray Metallic is slightly darker in appearance and almost looks Matt Black. On the other hand, Pearl Deep Ground Gray offered in South Korea has a Blueish tint to it, making it look like light teal shade.
Honda Dio 125 South Korea – Mat Axis Gray Metallic
Except for the change in colours, there don’t seem to be any other differences with recently launched 2025 Honda Dio 125 in South Korea. We still get the same sporty design with LED headlight in its apron, flanked by massive turn indicators. LED DRLs are on the handlebar and overall design gets a lot of cuts and creases to lend an aggressive appearance.
Honda Dio 125 South Korea – Features
    Same 125cc engine?
Componentry-wise, Indian model and South Korean model shares the same 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels, front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. They get the same features too, including a split digital console and a keyless ignition system as part of Honda’s Smart Key.
Honda Dio 125 South Korea – Engine
The same 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine powers the scooter with around 8.2 bhp of peak power and 10.2 Nm of peak torque, mated to a CVT. Fuel tank is 5.3L and Honda claims 49.5 km/l mileage (fuel efficiency) with South Korean model at 60 km/h steady speed. While HMSI has not confirmed to expand Dio 125’s palette, we hope these new colours make it to Indian model.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber Spied With Windshield – Standard Or Accessory?

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber SpiedThis upcoming Bobber style motorcycle from Royal Enfield will be powered by the same 350cc engine with around 20.7 bhp and 27 Nm
While they have already conquered the premium 300cc to 500cc motorcycle segment, Royal Enfield is on the verge of fortifying it further. Leaving no wiggle room to catch up, if we may. The company’s 350cc portfolio is already expansive and will witness a new entrant in the form of Classic 350 Bobber (name not confirmed).
This motorcycle has been spotted testing and the latest spy shots show the bike in more detail. For starters, the camouflage is gone, suggesting that the launch might be nearing. When launched, it might emerge as the more quirky and youthful version of Royal Enfield’s 350cc portfolio. Let’s take a look.
    Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber
    Classic 350 Bobber Spied Again
Royal Enfield has a slew of 350cc motorcycles in its arsenal. These include the utterly retro Bullet 350, darling of the sales charts Classic 350, most affordable Hunter 350 and the touring-friendly Meteor 350. These four motorcycles have bolstered Royal Enfield’s image as the best-selling classic bike manufacturer of all time.
Now, there will be a 5th 350cc Royal Enfield and it will be a Bobber-style motorcycle. Name is not confirmed yet. But speculations suggest possibilities like Classic 350 Bobber, Goan Classic 350, Goan 350, and Bobber 350 among others.
    Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber
Bobber 350 from Royal Enfield will be a friendlier take on a long-distance cruiser, based on Classic 350. While there is RE’s resident cruiser, Meteor 350, upcoming Bobber 350 has a lot of perks and is a style statement along with being functional. For starters, we get a massive “U” handlebar that is a standout element. This lends a lot of comfort on longer journeys.
The style statement comes from a single-seat approach with an optional pillion seat. Bobbers are primarily known for this approach. Now, we get to see a very tall windscreen on the latest test mules too. This would be a godsend for long-distance cruisers to deflect wind and protect riders from wind blasts. This windshield might be an accessory, instead of being standard fitment.
    Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber
    What to expect?
Other notable element seen on this test mule is a white-walled tyre, which is a proper retro touch. Royal Enfield must have collaborated with a local tyre manufacturer to source these white-walled tyres. Unlike the Classic 350, Bobber 350 doesn’t get a pea-shooter exhaust. Instead, it gets a normal unit finished in Black. Wheelbase is likely to be the same as Classic 350, unlike traditional Bobber bikes.
Bobber 350 gets alloy wheels, which will be a boon against punctures. Instrument cluster might be the same as Classic 350 along with LED headlights, tail lights and turn indicators. Powertrains-wise, Bobber 350 will get the same 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with 20.7 bhp of peak power and 27 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. More

Hero Xpulse 210 Vs Xpulse 200 4V – Specs, Features Compared

Hero Xpulse 210 Vs Xpulse 200While the launch date of 250cc motorcycles showcased at EICMA 2024 is not clear yet, Xpulse 210 might launch sooner than later
If there is one motorcycle company that has democratised off-road bikes to the masses, it has to be Hero MotoCorp. The company started this mission with the launch of Impulse and the mantle was carried on to Xpulse 200. Now, there is a new Xpulse 210 showcased at EICMA, set to launch soon. But how much better is it than Xpulse 200? Let’s take a look.
    Xpulse 210 Vs Xpulse 200
Within Hero MotoCorp’s portfolio, Xpulse 200 might be one of the most improved vehicles that we can think of. The company has updated it multiple times based on customer feedback but has always left enthusiasts craving for more. That’s a story for another day. In this comparison post, let’s see how Hero Xpulse 210 fares against Xpulse 200 4V.
Hero Xpulse 210 Vs Xpulse 200 – Comparison Table
While the main change is in engine department, we can’t gloss away the fact that Xpulse 210 has an all-new design. Round headlight with an H-shaped LED DRL signature has been retained. But most of the design is new. For starters, we get a new fuel tank that looks larger than on Xpulse 200’s.
Adding more muscle are the new tank shrouds that house a radiator and an oil reservoir of the liquid-cooled engine. There is a new subframe and associated body panels and we get a new rear luggage rack. Seat looks new as well. We can also spot a new windscreen and new position for exhaust can that is more up-swept than before.
    2025 Hero Xpulse 210 Engine
    New Engine
Main difference is from its engine department. Xpulse 210 borrows Karizma XMR 210’s liquid-cooled engine. Thus generating 24.26 bhp of peak power and 20.7 Nm of peak torque. This is an increase of 5.1 bhp of power and 3.5 Nm of torque, over Xpulse 200 4V. More appreciable are the addition of DOHC 4V head and liquid cooling for smoother power delivery.
The addition of a slipper clutch and 6-speed gearbox will ensure Xpulse finally gets the much-needed high-speed highway cruising capability. On paper, these updates make Xpulse 210 one of the most complete vehicles on sale in India. That one motorcycle to (potentially) do it all.
    Hero Xpulse 210
    Componentry
Xpulse 210 still comes with the same 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, which is a good thing for off-road enthusiasts. Sadly, the tyres are still of tube-type. Just like there is a Pro variant with Xpulse 200, Hero has showcased an Xpulse 210 Rally with upgraded components, which will launch after the launch of standard bike.
Speaking of standard Xpulse 210, suspension travel has gone up to 210mm front and 205 mm rear. Xpulse 210 Rally gets fully adjustable front (compression and rebound) and rear (preload and rebound) with higher suspension travel. Braking is handled by discs at both ends. Unlike Xpulse 200 with single-channel ABS, Xpulse 210 gets dual-channel ABS.
    New Hero Xpulse 210
    Features and Launch
Features-wise, Hero is offering more with Xpulse 210. For starters, there is a new 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster that is a major leap from the LCD setup on Xpulse 200. This unit also gets upgraded switchgear and supports Bluetooth and Navigation features when connected to a smartphone.
Hero MotoCorp has not confirmed the launch date of the new motorcycles showcased at EICMA 2024. However, there is a good possibility of Hero Xpulse 210 launching soon, considering that it has been tested for a long time. In contrast, the 250cc offerings will launch later after thorough testing. TVS Motor also reported increased retail sales last month at 3,51,950 units. This was well over 2,52,359 units sold in Oct 2023. Its market share also took a leap to 17.04% from 16.66% YoY. Ending YoY sales on a positive note was Bajaj Auto with 2,30,254 units sold last month over 1,79,308 units sold in Oct 2023. The company however, saw a marginal decline in its market share to 5.15% from 5.30% YoY. The new Bajaj Pulsar N125 is sure to stir up sales along with the Freedom 125 CNG, the world’s first CNG motorcycle.
Ola, Ather Post YoY Sales Growth
Royal Enfield (95,113 units) and India Yamaha Motor (68,153 units) each posted YoY growth. RE market share remained on par at 4.61%. However, Yamaha market share dipped to 3.30% from 3.66% YoY. In the electric vehicle segment, despite several issues being faced by Ola Electric with mounting consumer complaints, its sales went up to 41,651 units in the past month. This was over 23,892 units sold in Oct 2023. Market share also went up to 2.02% from 1.58% YoY.
Ather Energy also nearly doubled its retail sales count in Oct 2024 with 15,993 units sold in the said month. This was over 8,484 units sold in Oct 2023. Classic Legends too witnessed sales increase to 4,180 units from 2,776 units YoY while Greaves Electric (3,981 units) and Piaggio (3,241 units) suffered a YoY decline in sales. 2025 Kawasaki KLX 230 Sherpa Debuts With New Design Elements

New Kawasaki KLX 230 Sherpa vs KLX 230
The 2025 Kawasaki KLX 230 Sherpa is uniquely setup than standard bike with less suspension travel, lower weight and higher torque
With ADV segment gaining more popularity in India, Kawasaki is set to launch its most affordable mainstream off-road bike in the form of KLX 230. Launch timeline for KLX 230 is December 2024 and is expected to get aggressive pricing to rival the likes of Hero Xpulse and Yezdi Adventure.
However, the new 2025 Kawasaki KLX 230 Sherpa has just debuted in Japan, featuring a new design that looks a lot more modern and aesthetic. It stays similar to the KLX 230 lineup, with subtle design changes and new colour palette to establish a new appearance with KLX 230 Sherpa. Let’s take a look at the new model’s design.
    Kawasaki KLX 230 Sherpa
    2025 Kawasaki KLX 230 Sherpa
We can see the company playing with colours for different finishes and combinations to establish a unique look. Headlight unit seems to be the same twin LED setup, but KLX 230 Sherpa now gets a dual-tone effect with a black windscreen look. ORVMs are the same round units and the beak is identical.
With KLX 230 Sherpa, Kawasaki has added knuckle guards fixed on both ends. Front long travel RSU telescopic forks with fork gaiters get a blacked-out finish that looks better than silver finish of KLX 230. Also looks better is the new fuel tank with more subtle tank shrouds. These tank shrouds get multiple design elements for a modern appeal.
    [embedded content]

    Lower weight, more torque!
There are new graphics on fuel tank too. Notably, Kawasaki has given the mainframe and swingarm body colour treatment that looks really nice. On KLX 230, exhaust heat shield was finished in body colour, which is Black in KLX 230 Sherpa. This move reduces visual bulk and lends a sleeker vibe.
    KLX 230 Sherpa
Also reducing the visual bulk is the single-piece seat with a monotone Black shade. The heat shield on exhaust bend pipe near engine is finished in Black with KLX 230 Sherpa. Other than these changes, KLX 230 Sherpa is very close to the standard KLX 230 in powertrains and componentry.
    KLX 230 Sherpa
Bike still rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch wheels with off-road tyres, single petal discs at both ends. Ground clearance on Sherpa is 240mm, as opposed to KLX 230’s 265 mm. KLX 230 Sherpa also weighs 134 kg, which is 5kg lighter than KLX 230. While India-spec Kawasaki KLX 230 develops 18.1 PS and 18.3 Nm, KLX 230 Sherpa generates 18 PS and 19 Nm.
Suspension travel of KLX 230 Sherpa is lower too, when compared to KLX 230. Kawasaki India will launch KLX 230 in December 2024, and there are very few chances of a Sherpa version in the future with improved aesthetics. More
