    New 2025 Suzuki AccessAt the Bharat Expo, Suzuki Motorcycle India unveiled the 2025 version of its Access 125 scooter. A total of three variants are on offer to cater to customers’ diverse needs and budgets. New 2025 Suzuki Access 125 is available in the price range of Rs 81,700 to Rs 93,300. Let’s analyse the variant-wise features in detail.
    2025 Suzuki Access 125 Standard Edition
    This is the base variant, available at a starting price of Rs 81,700. 2025 Suzuki Access Standard Edition is offered in colour options of Pearl Grace White, Metallic Mat Black and Metallic Mat Stellar Blue. Some of the key features include an LCD instrument screen that displays a range of information.
    New Suzuki Access 125 Prices
    There’s an odometer, speedometer, trip meter, clock, fuel gauge and notification lights. The base variant of 2025 Suzuki Access 125 has a USB charging port, a hazard light and dual utility pockets at the front. Users can expect a seamless fuel filling experience with the front lock operated external fuel lid.
    There’s under seat storage, dual utility hooks, two under seat hooks for securing helmets and aluminium footrests. The scooter is built for everyday needs, as evident with the flat and long floor board area. Rides are comfortable for both the rider and pillion with the wide and flat seat and a robust grab rail.
    New Suzuki Access 125 Colours
    The front section of the seat is narrow, something that allows riders to easily reach the ground. Braking setup of Suzuki Access 125 Standard Edition comprises 130 mm drum brakes at front and rear. To improve safety, a CBS system is offered as standard. Other safety features include parking brake and side stand interlock.
    2025 Suzuki Access 125 Special Edition
    This is available at a starting price of Rs 88,200. In addition to the three colour options available with the base variant, the Special Edition model gets a Solid Ice Green colour option as well. In terms of functional superiority over the base variant, the Special Edition has a disc brake at the front. The rear has a 130 mm drum brake. CBS is offered as standard. Most other features are the same as the base model.

    2025 Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect Edition
    As the name suggests, the top variant – Ride Connect Edition – packs in a comprehensive range of Bluetooth-based connectivity features. Users can access calls, SMS, WhatsApp alerts, over speeding alerts, weather updates and turn-by-turn navigation. The digital console also displays the phone battery level.
    There’s a digital wallet as well that can store important documents such as driving license and vehicle registration soft copies. Talking about colours, Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect Edition gets an exclusive Pearl Shiny Beige option. This is in addition to the four colour options available with the Special Edition.
    New Suzuki Access 125 Features
    Suzuki Access 125 is equipped with a 124 cc, single cylinder, air cooled engine that generates 8.4 PS and 10.2 Nm of torque. It is mated to a CVT gearbox. The scooter has telescopic and swing arm suspension at the front and rear, respectively. Access 125 has lightweight alloy wheels, a lightweight frame and low rolling resistance tyre at the rear, which work to improve fuel efficiency. Along with the new Access 125, Suzuki has also unveiled the Access electric scooter.

      If we take the 2W industry in India, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd is primarily known for its scooters and is not a popular brand for motorcycles. Most of Suzuki’s strengths come from its no-nonsense Access 125 family scooter. The company is readying an update for this scooter as suggested by spy shots. Let’s take a look.
      2025 Suzuki Access Base Model
      India’s third best-selling scooter, Suzuki Access, has been a successful product for the company in India. With its tried and tested no-nonsense formula, Suzuki has firmly established a stronghold in Indian scooter market. Access 125 is a stark example of this formula and is a sought-after family scooter.
      In August 2024, Suzuki Access 125 held an 11.29% market share within the top 10 best-selling scooters. Suzuki Access is set to get a major update, which is likely to launch in 2025. Test mules of this upcoming scooter have been spied before in fully loaded avatar with front disc brakes and alloy wheels.
      For the first time, 2025 Suzuki Access base model has been spied. Suggesting that the recently spied test mules are base variants are attributes like drum brakes at the front and steelies (steel wheels). Alongside Access test mules, we can see Avenis 125 and Burgman Street 125 test mules as well.

      The latter two scooters are likely to be support vehicles and all these scooters had temporary red registration plates. These test mules are completely wrapped with camouflage and show very little design changes.
      What are the changes?
      For starters, there will be a redesigned headlight along with front apron that will distinguish itself from current model. Behind this apron is storage compartment and a circular reflector. We can see new tail section along with a redesigned exhaust heat shield when compared to current model.
      Feature additions include hazard light, seen with previous spy shots. Upcoming Access is likely to get a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation. We hope new Access gets 12-inch wheels at both ends, unlike current model with 10-inch rear wheel. We also expect miscellaneous features like USB charging port, boot light and others.
      Suzuki Access Solid Ice Green/ Pearl Mirage White
      It will retain the same 124cc single cylinder air cooled engine with 8.6 bhp of peak power and 10 Nm of peak torque, mated to a CVT. When launched, it will rival Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, Yamaha Fascino 125 and recently launched Hero Destini 125.
