In the latest spy shots, new RE Hunter 350 has been spied up close, revealing new details. Royal Enfield Hunter 350 gets a classic retro design with signature styling highlights such as a round headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single-piece seat and a short rear section.Tail section gets split grab rails and a short circular fender along with a round turn taillight with turn indicators. The motorcycle rolls on 17-inch black alloy wheels which nicely complement the bike’s sporty stance.2022 Royal Enfield Hunter 350ccThe sporty appeal of Hunter is further accentuated by a dark theme adopted for its internals and running gear with components like engine casing, handlebar, and suspension setup painted in black colour with a matte finish. Other notable highlights include an upswept muffler with a short exhaust tailpipe, circular rearview mirrors, redesigned side panels and fork gaiters.Features on offerIn terms of features, it should offer the same equipment as its other siblings like Meteor and new-gen Classic. The most prominent of those will be a Tripper Navigation pod in the instrument console which displays turn-by-turn navigation when paired to one’s smartphone via Bluetooth. It should also receive USB charging as a standard fitment.Hunter will be based on the new J1D platform which currently underpins Meteor 350 and new-gen Classic 350. Suspension will include USD forks in the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking will be via disc brakes at the front and rear with dual channel ABS offered as standard. With launch planned for later this year, estimates put the RE Shotgun 650 in a price range of Rs 4-4.5 lakh.RE Upcoming LaunchesRoyal Enfield has plans to introduce a wide range of motorcycles in India over the next 7 years and here we list a few. First off in 2022 will be the new RE Scram 411 adventure bike which is a scrambler version of the Himalayan. It will share its features with the latter and will also have the same chassis and engine. The dashboard could also benefit from a carbon fiber finish at certain places.Like the current ZS EV, the upcoming model is expected to be packed to the brim with features. The latter currently has the rights to manufacture and retail three iconic motorcycle brands including- Jawa, Yezdi and BSA.The company also holds the rights for sale and manufacture of two-wheelers under the French brand Peugeot. The first product under Peugeot to launch in India is expected to be Django 125. A heavily camouflaged test mule of this scooter has been spied testing on India roads once again after a long time.Peugeot Django 125: Changes in prototypeLast time this scooter was spotted was during its testing phase in December 2020. However, in comparison to previous spy images, there were considerable changes evident in the latest spy shots.For starters, the previous test mule was completely undisguised and flaunted every bit of its glory while the latest prototype was covered to the brim. Also, the previous test mule sported a nice and broad split-style seat with a ribbed pattern.Peugeot 125cc Scooter Spied In PuneOn the other hand, the recent prototype features a single-piece flat seat. The saddle was flanked by a pair of ugly-looking split grab rails, unlike the original scooter which received a sleeker pair of silver-coloured grab rails. We can also expect its under-seat storage to be larger in this prototype in comparison to the previous iteration.The biggest highlight of Django is its retro-style design, however, the latest test mule undergoes serious changes with regards to its design. Going forward, this test mule is expected to be the India-spec Django. The India-spec version gets new body panels that are in line with a more contemporary and modern design. It also features a new rectangular LED set-up similar to the ones seen in Vespa SXL.Expected features & SpecsIn terms of features, the latest mule appears to receive a digital instrument console that is rectangular in shape instead of the round cluster seen in the Europe-spec model. However, the India-spec iteration is expected to be tuned slightly differently in order to suit Indian riding conditions. Once launched, it will rival the likes of Vespa and Yamaha Fascino.Manufacture by MahindraThe latest prototype was seen wearing an MH14 number plate registered in Pimpri Chinchwad, near Pune – suggesting that the scooter might be manufactured at Mahindra’s Chakan plant. In addition to setting up newer ones, Peugeot could make use of Mahindra two-wheeler’s existing dealerships. The updated version of the EV made its international debut in October last year and is reported to enter our market next month. The relatively short turnaround time underscores the important role the model plays in MG India’s scheme of things.2022 MG Astor Electric (ZS EV) – What’s new?While there were earlier evidences which indicated that the India-spec MG ZS EV is going to adopt a smaller battery to optimize cost, a more recent report suggests that the upcoming iteration will actually adopt a larger battery pack, and hence will have an improved autonomy.For reference, the current ZS EV on sale in India is equipped with a 44.5 kWh battery pack which has an autonomy of 419 Km certified by ICAT. It is being reported that the new version will adopt a 51 kWh pack which is expected to push the official range figure over 450 Km.A larger battery pack is likely to be accompanied by a sizable increase in price tag but a best-in-class range would go a long way in bolstering the compact electric crossover’s appeal. As of now, it is the Tata Nexon which is the best seller in the segment.[embedded content][embedded content]As far as e-motor is concerned, we don’t expect any significant changes. To recap, the ZS EV is powered by a PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) which has a peak power and torque outputs of 141 hp and 353 Nm respectively.The charging system comprises a regular 7.4 kW AC and fast 50 kW DC systems. The enhanced battery capacity will slightly increase the fast-charging time from 0 to 80% which currently stands less than 50 minutes.Styling updatesStyling changes on the 2022 MG ZS EV are primarily concentrated on the front fascia. While sheet metal design remains pretty much untouched, the previous version’s conventional front grille has been eliminated in favor of a body-colored pseudo grille element which is expected to bring in aerodynamic improvements.2022 MG Astor Electric (ZS EV)The MG logo on the nose has now ditched its black background and no longer hinds the charging port behind it. Instead, the new grille element houses the hardly noticeable charging port lid.The new version of the MG electric SUV also gets new alloy wheel design which also appears to bring a slight improvement to overall aerodynamics. We don’t expect any significant changes to the interior.
