Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Fully Leaks – Blue And White Dual Tone

Critical sub-systems like engine, frame, suspension, braking system, etc., will be carried over from the well-established Meteor 350New Royal Enfield Hunter 350. Credit – BK SAHAThe eagerly awaited Royal Enfield Hunter 350, a new derivative of the two wheeler brand’s new 350 cc platform is days away from its launch. The retro classic motorcycle has just been homologated. Registration formalities at regional transport authorities have commenced earlier this month. The said document also throws light on important specifications of the motorcycle. To be underpinned by the new J-Platform which debuted with the Meteor 350, the Hunter 350 is essentially a roadster variant of the donor model. In fact, the registration approval document clearly mentions the Meteor as the base model and Hunter as its variant. This means the duo will share majority of the components.Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Fully LeaksTo be launched on 7th Aug, specs and colours of Royal Enfield Hunter 350 leaked earlier today. Now, the first units of Hunter have started to arrive at dealer yards across India. The variant seen here, is likely to be the top Metro Retro variant, which will be offered in dual tone colour. The Hunter Rebel Blue colour seen in these leaked photos, is seen in dual tone colour scheme of blue and white. In terms of dimensions, the soon-to-be-launched Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is more compact than its cruiser sibling. At 1,370 mm, the wheelbase is 30 mm shorter while the length is down a good 85 mm at 2,055 mm. The new RE is also narrower and shorter with width and height of 800 mm and 1,370 mm respectively. The gross vehicle weight is rated at 360 kg and the Hunter is homologated to transport 2 persons.New Royal Enfield Hunter 350The compact dimensions are atypical of Royal Enfield motorcycles. With a sleek yet nostalgic design, the company will be aiming to bring in new breed of younger audience to its forum. We expect the twin down-tube frame of the Meteor to be carried forward but with a different geometry. The motorcycle will be suspended by traditional telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks adjustable for pre-load. The previous spyshots confirmed that the Hunter 350 will adopt 17-inch alloy wheels. The front and rear tyre sections are 110 mm and 140 mm respectively. Just like the Meteor, the braking system will be composed of twin-piston 300 mm front and single-piston 270 mm rear disc brakes (both floating calipers), governed by Dual-channel ABS. A semi-digital instrument cluster with tripper turn-by-turn navigation system is expected to be on offer.New Royal Enfield Hunter 350Medium displacement kingLeaked document confirms that the Meteor’s 349 cc motor will be carried forward without significant changes, and it will be rated at 14.87 kW (20.24 hp) at 6,100 rpm. While nothing is mentioned about the transmission, we can be sure that the 5-speed unit will also be a carryover but there could be some slight difference in gear ratios or final drive ratio to impart a character that suits a roadster. The air/oil-cooled fuel-injected motor is a significant step-up in the refinement department compared to the old thumpers.Royal Enfield has been the undisputed leader of the mid-displacement motorcycle segment in the country. The competition couldn’t really make a dent but not for the lack of trying. With the Hunter 350, RE will be looking to consolidate its strong position. The newly launched TVS Ronin 250 will be the Hunter’s primary rival. Expect launch price to be in the Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 1.7 lakh range – ex showroom.Source More

Royal Enfield Hunter Variants Retro, Metro Rebel – Wt 177 Kgs, Colours Leak

With price tag of around Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 1.7 lakh, Hunter 350 will be the most affordable Royal Enfield bike upon launchRoyal Enfield Hunter 350 – Colours, Variants DetailsAs part of its strategy to target new segments, Royal Enfield will be launching Hunter 350cc motorcycle on August 7. While the hardware is the same as that of new gen Classic and Meteor 350, Hunter has a distinct, agile design. With Hunter, Royal Enfield will be looking to attract a new segment of users. It comes across as a nimble-footed bike that can be a true asset for city streets. It will primarily compete with the likes of Honda H’ness CB350, Yezdi Roadster and Jawa Forty Two.Royal Enfield Hunter VariantsPrior to its launch, it has been leaked that Hunter will be offered in two variants – Hunter Retro and Hunter Metro. There is also an additional variant, based on Hunter Metro, and it is called Hunter Metro Rebel. This will be top of the line variant on the Hunter 350 range. Leaked details are credit to Bullet Guru and GJV Team.Among the key differences between the two variants is the hardware configuration. For example, Hunter Retro variant will have a front disc and rear drum brake setup. Single-channel ABS will be offered as standard. It will get spokes wheels, bulb tail lamp, oval shape indicators, old Classic style instrument cluster, and will not come with a main stand. Kerb wt is 177 kgs.Royal Enfield Hunter Retro and Royal Enfield Hunter MetroIn comparison, Hunter Metro variant will have 300 mm and 270 mm disc at front and rear. It will be offered with dual-channel ABS. It will get alloys, LED tail lamp, round shape indicators, new Meteor style instrument cluster, and will get a main stand. Kerb wt is 181 kgs. Both variants will have 17-inch wheels at front and rear. Seat height is at 800 mm while ground clearance is at 150mm. Fuel tank capacity is 13 liters.Royal Enfield Hunter ColoursNew Hunter 350 will be offered in a choice of 8 colour options. The base Hunter Retro will be offered in two colour options of Factory Black and Factory Silver. Hunter Metro is offered in 3 colours of Dapper White, Dapper Ash and Dapper Grey. Of the three, the Dapper Grey option is only offered when you book the Hunter via Royal Enfield MIY app.Top of the line Royal Enfield Hunter Metro Rebel variant will be offered in three colours of Rebel Black, Rebel Blue, and Rebel Red. Of the three, Rebel Red can only be booked via MIY. The Rebel colours will come with dual tone finish, as seen in leaked spy shots.Royal Enfield Hunter Retro, Hunter Metro, Hunter Metro Rebel – ColoursWhile Hunter Metro variant will have better capabilities, it’s the Retro variant that will appeal to folks with limited budget. Assuming Hunter Retro is launched at around Rs 1.5 lakh, it will be a sweet deal in this segment. It’s quite possible, as Royal Enfield has focused on reducing cost of the bike. For example, plastic and fibre parts have been used instead of metal. This has also helped reduce weight of the bike, which in turn has boosted power-to-weight ratio.Another way of reducing cost of the bike is making Tripper navigation an optional feature. This strategy has already been deployed for Meteor 350 and Himalayan. It has also been revealed that Hunter will be offered in eight colour options. Three of these will be customizable.Royal Enfield Hunter 350cc RenderHunter 350 performanceHunter 350 has been built on the new J-platform that’s currently in use with Classic and Meteor 350. The bike has a twin downtube spine frame, integrated with telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. It is powered by the 349cc motor that makes 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm. It is mated to a constant mesh 5-speed gearbox. While Hunter is not expected to get any performance tweaks, it will automatically deliver better performance owing to its lightweight body. As compared to Classic and Meteor that weigh 195 kg and 191 kg, respectively, Hunter will have kerb weight of around 177 kg. Hunter is smaller and has a shorter wheelbase than Classic and Meteor, which makes it a more capable urban machine.Source More

Upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc Shotgun Stuck In Traffic – Spied

Royal Enfield Shogun 650 is expected to hit the Indian markets early next year and could be priced around Rs 3.5 lakhUpcoming Royal Enfield 650cc Shotgun Stuck In TrafficRoyal Enfield’s lineup will look very different in the next few years as the bikemaker is planning to launch multiple new models over the course of next five years. The company will be expanding its flagship 650 range by introducing various new models.Numerous spy shots of the upcoming 650cc motorcycles have been spied on roads since last year. Another test mule of the supposed Shotgun 650 has been spotted testing recently and spy shots of the same have been circulating on the internet. The latest spy shots show two production-ready prototypes of the twin-cylinder motorcycle.Royal Enfield 650cc Shotgun Stuck In TrafficTwo test mules of the upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc Shotgun have been spied together, credit to Motor Vaahan. They are stuck in traffic, giving us a closer look at the motorcycles. They are wearing hardly any camouflage, revealing finished body panels and fuel tank. This indicates that Royal Enfield is done with a major part of the developmental process for the bike. However, the recently spied test mules have a few subtle yet noticeable variations in comparison to the pre-production concept showcased earlier. The biggest difference is the split-style seats seen in the test units as opposed to a single rider’s seat shown in the concept model. The SG650 concept flaunted the looks of a single-seater bobber. It is likely that Royal Enfield will introduce multiple variants of Shotgun with multiple seating layouts.[embedded content][embedded content]From the looks of it, Shotgun 650 is more likely to be a 650cc equivalent of Classic 350 which is also available both in single- and dual-seat variants. The round headlight, side panels and fenders, all bear a striking resemblance to the concept. Unlike Cruiser 650, which is speculated to be named Super Meteor 650, this model gets centre-set footpegs and a straight handlebar.Expected Features & SpecsIn terms of features, it gets a twin-pod instrument cluster that will be a semi-digital unit instead of a fully digital unit seen in the SG650 concept. The smaller pod could be for Tripper Navigation which displays turn-by-turn navigation, although this feature is expected to be available as an optional accessory.Hardware configurations of Shotgun 650 will consist of a dual-cradle frame suspended on USD forks up front and twin shock absorbers at rear. Braking duties will be handled by single disc brakes at both ends and chewed down by ByBre callipers. These will be aided by a dual-channel ABS.Powering Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 will be the same 648cc oil-cooled, parallel-twin motor that performs duties on the current 650 Twins- Interceptor and Continental GT. This unit pushes out 47 bhp and 52 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slip and assist clutch. Apart from Shotgun 650, Royal Enfield also has plans to launch Classic 650, Meteor 650, Hunter 350. More

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Prices July 2022 – Costlier By Up To Rs 5k

In CY2022, Royal Enfield Meteor 350 prices have been raised twice and decreased once; this is the third price hike this yearNew Royal Enfield Meteor 350Likely due to rise in input costs, Royal Enfield has increased prices of Meteor 350 in July. Prices have been increased by up to Rs 5,000. In percentage terms, prices have been increased in the range of 1.3% to 2.29%. Latest round of price hike does not bring any changes or updates for the bike. While the price difference may seem substantial, it is unlikely to impact sales of Meteor 350. It is currently the second bestselling 350cc motorcycle from Royal Enfield. In overseas markets, it has surpassed Classic 350 to become the most exported Royal Enfield bike. A total of 3,487 units were exported in June 2022.Meteor 350 new prices July 2022Price increase varies based on the variant. New price of Meteor 350 Fireball Red / Yellow / Blue / Matt Green variants is Rs 2,05,844. That’s an increase of Rs 3,591, as compared to June prices. Stellar Blue / Red / Black variants’ new price is Rs 2,11,924, an increase of Rs 4,591.Stellar Pure Black Custom is now priced at Rs 2,11,924, an increase of Rs 2,754. Supernova Brown / Blue / Red variants get costlier by Rs 4,592; new price is Rs 2,22,061. With this latest price hike, the earlier price reduction benefit of Rs 5,000 has largely been cancelled out.New Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Prices July 2022As may be recalled, Royal Enfield had slashed prices of Meteor 350 by Rs 5k, which was effective from May 01, 2022. The price reduction was made possible by removing Tripper navigation as a standard feature. It was classified as an optional feature that users could choose through Royal Enfield’s MIY configurator.Along with Meteor, the same approach was also deployed for Himalayan. It was a consumer-friendly move, as Tripper navigation is not a feature that everyone needs. By making Tripper navigation an optional feature, Royal Enfield was also able to cope up with shortage of semiconductor chips. It ensured that users who needed Tripper could get their bikes delivered in the shortest possible time.New Royal Enfield Meteor 350 VariantEarlier this year in April, Royal Enfield had increased prices of Meteor 350 in the range of Rs 2-4k. Starting price for Meteor in April was Rs 2.05 lakh for Fireball Red / Yellow variants. Three new colours were also introduced for the bike – Fireball Blue, Fireball Matt Green and Supernova Red. As of now, Meteor 350 is available in a total of 14 colour options. There are 7 dual-tone and 7 single-tone colour options. This is probably the widest choice of colours available for a 350cc bike.Royal Enfield is also working on a new version of Meteor 350, likely to be called Meteor 350X. It has been spied on test, and launch is expected soon. It will have similar upgrades / changes which the Thunderbird 350X had over the Thunderbird 350. More
