Royal Enfield Himalayan 500cc With Carbon Fibre Parts – Modified

Due to generous use of carbon fibre, this 500cc Ultimate Himalayan has a far better power-to-weight ratio than stock bikeRoyal Enfield Himalayan 500cc Custom by MotoExoticaADVs are all the rage right now among motorcycling enthusiasts. Lower down, we have Xpulse 200 by Hero MotoCorp and on top of it, we have Royal Enfield Himalayan. The latter rests in a niche by offering both off-road capable hardware and high-speed cruising. Something which XPulse 200 lacks. This segment offers the right amount of power and cruising ability and comes at a fair cost. Hence the popularity. With the modding community, Royal Enfields are the most preferred. Due to their timeless design language, stock RE bikes often come off as vanilla ice cream. It is a brilliant standalone but is compatible with unlimited flavours and additions.Uttarakhand-based MotoExotica headed by Arjun Raina has taken a stock Himalayan and went absolutely bonkers with it. Imagine a custom modding company based on the foothills of Himalayas and not modifying a Himalayan. While doing so, Arjun Raina left a souvenir on his prized creation in the form of a topographic view of Mount Everest on its fairing.500cc Ultimate Himalayan Custom BikeMost modifications are mostly limited to a wrap, custom paint scheme, and a bunch of aftermarket accessories and that’s about it. It is rewarding for those who take the extra step and create something truly spectacular. That is exactly what MotoExotica has done with this 500cc Ultimate Himalayan.Royal Enfield Himalayan 500cc Custom by MotoExoticaThe team has approached this stock Himalayan at all angles and has managed to radicalise the stock bike to its maximum. Starting with its engine, this is bored out to displace 500cc with the help of a big bore kit. Also fitted are a high lift cam, a programmable ECU and a custom exhaust with a carbon fiber tip. That is not the only place where Arjun Raina has used carbon fiber. All of its body panels including its knuckle guards, fuel tank and a custom fairing is made of carbon fiber which is cured in-house by MotoExotica. Himalayan’s stock rear subframe is replaced too. All of it combined will definitely have contributed to a lot of weight savings. The new face for 500cc Ultimate Himalayan custom bike is made out of carbon fiber that also holds its fuel tank, headlight and windscreen. Stock headlights are replaced by aftermarket LEDs. This custom motorcycle doesn’t seem to have turn indicators at front and rear. There is no need for blinkers if this custom bike is only for off-roading.Royal Enfield Himalayan 500cc Custom by MotoExoticaMechanical ChangesThere are a lot of mechanical changes to make this the Ultimate Himalayan in the world for off-roading. 21” front spoke wheel is retained and rear now gets an 18” instead of 17” from stock bike. Wrapped to these wheels are knobby tyres, aiding in grip when off-roading. Front now gets a 320mm disc with a 4-pot caliper.WP USD forks replace stock telescopic ones which get covers to keep muck away. The rear suspension now gets an adjustable mono-shock suspension. With added oomph and shedded weight, this 500cc Ultimate Himalayan by MotoExotica stays true to its name. To signify this, there is a G.O.A.T. sticker on its side panels along with Mount Everest’s topography decals. More

RE Hunter 350 Street Tracker Custom Motorcycle Looks Alienist

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Street Tracker is powered by the same 349cc J-Series engine as other 350cc stablematesHunter 350 Street TrackerIf there is one brand that motorcycle modders love, it is Royal Enfield. With a blank canvas to work on, a modder can get his vision down on a Royal Enfield and end up with a unique motorcycle. Royal Enfield motorcycles are very friendly to work on and change to extract different characters. One such modder, Okeasyshop, created a radical-looking Street Tracker motorcycle based on a newly launched Hunter 350. It gets a completely different face and looks a lot like an actual Street Tracker bike that Royal Enfield would have made. Let’s take a look.Hunter 350 Street TrackerStreet Tracker motorcycles are the ones that are track racers with just enough equipment on them to pass the regulations and be classified as street-legal motorcycles. Flat track racers are those motorcycles that take place on an unpaved track. This track is usually oval in shape and flat track racers don’t come with front brakes so racers could steer their vehicle with rear wheels. Street Trackers come with front brakes, though. To convert a stock Royal Enfield Hunter 350 into a street-legal Street Tracker, Okeasyshop has incorporated a lot of changes.RearFor starters, the headlight assembly is completely removed to incorporate a flat panel with some LEDs in them just to pass off as headlights. The LEDs are stacked vertically into two clusters that give the bike an alienist look. With the removal of headlight assembly, speedo is gone as well. It is shifted below the fuel tank towards its left facing upwards. This is done to keep the Hunter 350 Street Tracker looks without skimping on regulations. The stock handlebar is replaced by a taller one and front telescopic forks are replaced with USD forks finished in a golden shade. Viewing it from the right reveals a beautifully done custom exhaust that is upswept in its design.Custom Rear SubframeOther changes spotted are Nissin calipers to drop anchor better, a custom single-seat layout and an extremely minimal and tidy tail section. To mount this single-seat, Okeasyshop has modified the frame to have a bolt-on rear subframe. A custom rear subframe allowed the modder to also incorporate a monoshock instead of a dual shock absorber setup on a stock bike.SpeedoWith a free-flowing exhaust, Hunter 350 Street Tracker custom motorcycle is likely to perform a tad brisker than stock bike owing to weight savings. Stock Hunter 350 makes 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque from its 349cc engine. This mod was based on Hunter Metro variant and hence comes with alloy wheels. With around 15 new motorcycles brewing in Royal Enfield’s labs, should they consider incorporating a Street Tracker as well? Maybe.Source More

Royal Enfield Scram 650 Rear Subframe Spied – Single Exhaust

When compared to Interceptor 650, RE Scram 650 will be considerably lighter owing to its single exhaustRoyal Enfield Scram 650Royal Enfield is currently expanding its 650cc portfolio apart from expanding its 350cc and 450cc portfolio. There was an internal document used in one of the meetings of Royal Enfield. That document got leaked online. It revealed that there are multiple new motorcycles planned for launch. One of these new motorcycles is a cruiser and a tourer which seem to be the recently revealed Super Meteor 650 and Super Meteor 650 Tourer. There was also a bobber, an ADV and a scrambler. There have been multiple sightings of a Royal Enfield Scrambler based on a 650cc platform. Test mules are spotted both overseas and also here in India. Recent test mules divulge further info on this upcoming RE Scram 650.RE Scram 650 Rear SubframeMechanically, upcoming scrambler by Royal Enfield is likely to be kept as is. A slight retune to suit a scrambler character is likely. This is a potent 648 cc parallel-twin engine that generates around 46 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. This is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch and oil cooling. The chassis on which Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform is based will undergo slight modification to suit different characters of intended variations. On Scram 650, Royal Enfield has modified its rear subframe which gives it that much-needed scrambler aesthetic. There is a single-seat setup, which gets a ribbed pattern cover.Royal Enfield Scram 650Seating posture is fairly upright with a neutral riding posture. Footpeg placement for rider seems to be slightly rear set which should add that sense of sportiness. Handlebars and instrumentation seem to be lifted off the recently launched Hunter 350. A tripper screen was not found on this test mule and might be made standard with production-spec model.Hardware ComponentsOne of the main highlights of this upcoming RE Scram 650 is its single exhaust. It gets a different exhaust header rerouting exhaust gases into one channel. This will reduce weight considerably and make the motorcycle peppier, which is a win-win situation. According to the report, this new exhaust packed a lot of bass and was slightly louder as well.In terms of componentry, Royal Enfield is offering front USD forks and LED headlights like the ones found on Super Meteor 650. There is exposed wiring that seems to be testing new LED turn indicators.Royal Enfield Scram 650RE Scram 650 still rides on spoked wheels which seem to be 17” in size. Wrapped to these wheels are block pattern tyres that should ensure slight trailing capability. Given Royal Enfield’s extensive testing, Scram 650 seems to be far from launch. When launched, pricing might be around Rs. 3.5 lakh.Source More

Royal Enfield Electric Himalayan ADV Details Leak Ahead Of Launch

A large battery pack with 200 to 300 km of range is likely from electric Himalayan by Royal Enfield owing to its ADV natureRoyal Enfield Electric Himalayan ADV – RenderRoyal Enfield has stood true to its ‘four motorcycles a year’ strategy. We got Scram 411, a new Classic 350, new Hunter 350 and recently unveiled Super Meteor 650. Royal Enfield’s quota for new launches in 2022 seems to have come to an end. That said, tomorrow never sleeps and with a future of EVs gaining traction, mainstream 2W manufacturers can’t afford to miss the EV train. Certainly not Royal Enfield, as it seems to have a monopoly on classic and retro motorcycles at least in India. RE has a ton of overseas fanbase to please as well.To continue being at the top of their game, Royal Enfield has planned multiple launches over the next few years. One of them is an electric Himalayan. You heard that right. An electric ADV from a mainstream motorcycle manufacturer. Let’s take a look.Electric Himalayan By Royal EnfieldIt was at Hunter 350 launch that Eicher Motors CEO Siddhartha Lal gave subtle hints as to what kind of EVs may come out of Royal Enfield stables in the coming years. He mentioned that the very first Royal Enfield electric vehicle will be revealed in a three to four years timeline. Even though it meant waiting, RE confirmed that it had its foot on the ground.Image – BikewaleRecently we saw Electrik01 concept in a leaked picture which looked extremely radical. Something no one had seen in a century. It had a futuristic vibe and stood by its retro charms along the way. Royal Enfield Electric Himalayan radiates the same vibes. In this sense, it is still neo-retro in its appeal, but gets a futuristic design language.Gone is its beak and in its place is a bikini fairing that holds its round headlights. A tall visor adorns its front fascia and gives it an ADV feel. It is evident that Royal Enfield is cleverly incorporating its frame as its body panels, exposed for display. At the back, we can see a sharp subframe and a clean profile.Wire spoke rims are retained and are likely to be 21” at front and 17” or 18” at the rear. Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric gets a mid-mounted motor sending power to rear wheels via chain drive. Mono-shock rear suspension and stylish aluminium swingarm are part of its package as well.Launch TimelineUnlike Electrik01 which is a prototype, Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric is still in concept design phase. It is possible that when the new breed of electric 2W from Royal Enfield sees the light of day, electric Himalayan could be the flagship. We say this because owing to its nature, an ADV should have a long range.Long range means a larger battery and that in turn means higher pricing. Also, with a decent off-road kit or touring kit, it is not a stretch to say that Royal Enfield will price it at a premium. With a top-down approach, we can expect that electric powertrains will trickle down on lower-end products as well. A launch timeline is not revealed by the company. Going by Sidhartha Lal’s hints, we can expect eclectic Royal Enfields to hit Indian roads in 2026 or beyond.Source More
