Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 All Digital Speedo, Console – Spied

With a new engine displacing around 450cc, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is likely to make around 30 bhp of power and 40 Nm of torque2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450Royal Enfield’s extended testing periods are not a new thing. After launching Super Meteor 650 recently, RE is set to launch their new 450cc platform spawning multiple derivatives. One of them is the much awaited Himalayan 450.Royal Enfield’s future proposed models based on this 450cc platform are five in number. Out of which, Himalayan 450 and Hunter 450 are likely to be lead vehicles and will spawn derivatives like a tourer, cafe-racer with fairing and a full-fledged Scrambler as well. First of the bunch is likely to be Himalayan 450 and undergoes most frequent testing.Himalayan 450 All Digital ScreenCurrently, Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 features a busy cluster of dials. It has an analog speedo with a tiny LCD screen below it for odo, gear position indicator, and some other info. Besides that, we have a smaller analog dial for the tachometer. Below it are two circular dials. One analog fuel meter and one digital compass.A circular Tripper navigation screen is also there in this already-busy cluster in a jugaad fashion. Overall, it looks all cluttered. With the new gen Himalayan, RE has solved that problem. New H450 features just one large circular display which is likely to be an LCD or even a TFT unit. This large canvas should be enough to show all of the info that old Himalayan did.2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 digital speedoAnother appreciable aspect of this new instrument cluster is that it is angled toward the rider. When touring, it falls into the rider’s peripheral vision and negates a need to look away from the road in order to grasp vehicular data. This might not be an ideal solution when standing and blasting on the trails. But, that is not likely to be an everyday occurrence.Specs & FeaturesWe already knew that Royal Enfield has equipped the upcoming H450 with USD forks. These new spy shots reveal that it is from Showa. They don’t seem to be adjustable for rebound and compression, though. However, this is still a test mule and production-spec model might feature rebound and compression adjustability.Rear will be suspended by a mono-shock unit and is also likely to be from Showa. Exact engine specs are not yet known. But it will displace around 450 cc to make around 30 bhp of power and 40 Nm of torque. Power will be regulated by a 6-speed transmission and is likely to feature liquid cooling. There are a lot of rivals getting prepped. Sharpening their blades to rival Himalayan 450 is the new Hero MotoCorp Xpulse which is likely to feature around 400cc engine and 2023 KTM 390 Adventure.Source More

Pricing is in line with what motorcycle enthusiasts were expecting and is far less than rivaling low-slung middle-weight cruisers like Kawasaki Vulcan S and the likes. Bookings have opened. Deliveries will start from 1st Feb 2023 in India.RE Super Meteor 650 PricesAfter years of testing, Royal Enfield finally launched the Super Meteor 650 in India. If you thought the 650cc platform broke a lot of Royal Enfield related stereotypes, Super Meteor 650 takes that notion to a new level. It is the first-ever RE to come with USD forks and LED headlights. It is the first 650cc motorcycle from RE to get modern features like a Tripper screen.Royal Enfield has stuck to its ethos and has delivered a timeless-looking motorcycle that is sure to age well. With swooping lines, round headlights, taillights, turn indicators and subtle use of chrome, it pays tribute to motorcycles of the past with modernity. Rider is greeted with a generous seat with a relaxed riding posture.Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc launch price Rs 3.5 lakhThe handlebar extends slightly toward the driver ensuring an upright riding posture. Front-set footpegs ease driver fatigue and are an absolute boon for long intercontinental mile munching (or Kilometer munching). Weighing 241 kg and measuring 1500 mm long wheelbase, Super Meteor is set to offer supreme straight-line stability and decent immunity to cross-winds.Just like its smaller sibling, Meteor 350, Super Meteor 650 gets alloy wheels on both standard and Tourer variants. Buyers will enjoy tubeless tyres which are more convenient than tubed tyres. Speaking of tyres, Super Meteor 650 gets 100/90-19 tyre at front wrapped on 19” alloy and 150/80-B16 tyres at the rear wrapped on 16” alloy wheel.Specs & FeaturesRoyal Enfield has offered a Tripper navigation screen with Super Meteor 650 that enables turn-by-turn navigation. Along with that, Royal Enfield is offering accessory kits named Solo Tourer and Grand Tourer. These kits add more value to the motorcycle and enhance functionalities. The 648 cc parallel-twin engine is shared with Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. This is the main talking point of this motorcycle. It makes 47 horses and 52.3 torques and is very tractable. Power is regulated by a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and is sent to the rear wheels via a chain drive.Starting at Rs. 3.49 lakh (ex-sh) for standard RE Super Meteor 650, this is the least expensive low-slung cruiser with multi-cylinder engines of any kind. Yes, Keeway K-Light 250V and Benda V302C exist at Rs. 3.09 lakh and Rs. 3.89 lakh (both prices ex-sh). But they don’t fall into middle-weight category. Kawasaki Vulcan S priced at 6.4 lakh (ex-sh) is the only logical rival. More

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Modified Into Scrambler, Brat – Untamed And Exotic

Scrambler and Brat versions of Hunter 350 appear truly exotic, untamed and are available to anyone who can afford the cost of customizationRoyal Enfield Hunter 350 ModifiedA bike that signifies Royal Enfield’s evolving design philosophy, Hunter 350 has emerged a bestseller right from its launch. It is currently the second best selling bike in the company portfolio. It has raced ahead of Meteor 350 and leads by a significant margin.New Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has also emerged as a popular choice for customization projects. With its neo-retro profile and simple architecture, virtually limitless iterations can be created. Two such customizations, Hunter Scrambler and Hunter Brat, have now been showcased by K-Speed, a leading Bangkok-based bike customization shop. K-Speed specializes in standalone customization projects and also has ready-to-ship custom parts for a wide range of popular bikes in the world.Royal Enfield Hunter Scrambler – ModifiedIn its Scrambler makeover, Hunter 350 gets a rugged, dominating profile. The knobby dual-purpose tyres immediately grab one’s attention and exude a sense of brute force and dominance.Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Modified – ScramblerThese are functionally relevant as well, with capabilities to tame a wide variety of off-road terrains. Another feature that’s super slick is the custom-made engine cover and side panels. These have protruding ribs that work to enhance the bike’s rugged character.Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Modified – ScramblerTo ensure adequate protection against flying debris, Hunter Scrambler gets a thick plated engine cowl. For engine cooling, four small sized holes have been machined into the engine cowl. There’s apparently an inner breathable layer that can take care of smaller sized debris. Another key addition is a crisp aftermarket exhaust, placed parallel to the seat.Other key highlights of Hunter Scrambler include custom front fender in high-mounted position, tank top cover, bar-end micro mirrors and custom seat with quilted pattern and white lining. A number of stock components such as front and rear indicators have been completely removed. Rear tail has been shortened to achieve a compact profile.Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Modified – BratRoyal Enfield Hunter Brat – ModifiedHunter Brat shares some of the custom parts with Scrambler version, but has an entirely different character. It is a true-blue road machine, with the most notable update being the large balloon tyres. Components like the headlight, bar-end micro mirrors, tank cover and custom engine cover and side panel covers are the same as Hunter Scrambler. Hunter Brat has also been stripped of its front and rear turn signals.Customizations that ensure a unique profile for Hunter Brat include the low-set handlebar, a minimalistic looking saddle and curvy upswept aftermarket exhaust. Front suspension appears to have been tweaked to achieve a low riding stance.Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Modified – Brat Both Hunter Scrambler and Brat are likely to be focused largely on cosmetic enhancements. There are unlikely to be any tweaks to the engine to boost its performance. Aural experience could be unique, as both versions get a different aftermarket exhaust. Hunter is powered by a 350cc motor that churns out 20.2 bhp of max power and 27 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.Source More

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Launch Date 16th Jan 2023 – Official

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will go on sale soon across India from 16th Jan 2023Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650After its global unveiling at EICMA in Milan on 8th October, Super Meteor 650 was showcased at 2022 Rider Mania. Organized by Royal Enfield, Rider Mania was a three-day event, from November 18 to 20. The event was back after a two-year gap.It is here that the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 made its India debut. This new RE has a distinct profile, even though the signature retro bits such as round headlamp, tear-drop shaped fuel tank and broad rear fender have been retained. While dimensionally the bike is pretty huge, the bodywork is a lot crispier in comparison to other Royal Enfield bikes. Components like the fuel tank, seat, side panels and exhaust are intelligently designed for a more athletic look and feel.Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Launch DateSuper Meteor 650 appears to be the most capable Royal Enfield bike in terms of street presence. However, it could create issues across bad patches, potholes and badly engineered speed bumps. In terms of ride comfort, Super Meteor 650 ticks all the right boxes. The scooped rider seat looks snug and should be able to provide adequate lumbar support. The bike has pulled-back, wide handlebar and forward-set foot pegs. Handling the 241 kg bike shouldn’t be an issue even for shorter guys, as seat height is just 740 mm. This should enhance ride comfort and ensure better control at high speeds, while braking and making sharp turns.Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 launch date 16th Jan, 7-30 PMThere will be two variants of Super Meteor 650 – Solo Tourer and Grand Tourer (GT). Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 Custom – Modified To Race

Commissioned by Royal Enfield, this customized Scram 411 Supermoto edition was to debut at Glemseck 101 race meetRoyal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 CustomWith their simple, yet robust architecture, Royal Enfield bikes are easy to modify and can support a wide variety of body styles. Latest custom project involves Himalayan Scram 411 that has been transformed into a Supermoto racing machine. Commissioned by Royal Enfield, this custom project has been executed by Germany-based Crooked Motorcycles. Images are credited to Bike Exif.Key objective of this project was to showcase the creative prowess of team Crooked. The challenge was to achieve an entirely new look, without losing out on the core character of Himalayan Scram 411. Moreover, everything needed to be done in a time period of just three weeks.Himalayan Scram 411 Supermoto – SuperScramCustom-made SuperScram has such an unconventional design that calling it radical will be an understatement. Much of the bike’s body panelling has been removed and replaced with custom-made panels. The primary choice of metal here is aluminium, which is easy to mill into the desired shape. Unlike stock Scram 411 that has a curvy fuel tank and body panelling, SuperScram has straight-cut panels with sharp profile. Some deep-level modifications were performed such as removal of subframe and replacing it with a custom bodywork. The stock fuel tank has been entirely removed and there’s a new custom fuel tank built under the seat. It comes with a snazzy pop-up filler cap. The underseat fuel reservoir not only helps achieve a sleek look and feel, but also lowers the bike’s centre of gravity.Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 CustomAt front, the bike has bright Supernova LED headlight. Tail lights are custom-made and placed in the lower section of rear fender. Parts like license plate, speedometer and turn signals are missing on purpose, as this is more of a display machine.SuperScram aftermarket upgradesWhile the 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combo has been retained, SuperScram Supermoto gets Metzeler Sportec M9 tires. Scram 411 stock low-mounted fender has been replaced with a Husqvarna enduro unit. Suspension and braking apparatus have been retained, but the bike gets additional equipment such as Probrake levers and LSL handlebars. These help achieve a sportier look and feel.Other upgrades include short-stroke throttle, Biltwell Inc. grips and a CNC-machined start button seamlessly integrated into the bodywork. The saddle is another key highlight, which appears like a nano runway. The custom Alcantara seat stretches all the way from the steering head to the bike’s rear fender. It is functionally relevant though, as it allows easy movement of the rider. The bike gets a custom exhaust that runs parallel to the seat.Colour theme is predominantly black, with contrasting bits of yellow. The black shade comes in glossy finish across most parts. Components like the engine are also blacked out. There are no performance upgrades in this customization project.Source More
