Riding on their popularity among motorcycling enthusiasts, KTM has just showcased 390 Adventure R, 390 Enduro R and 390 SMC R.
    2025 KTM 390 Adventure R
These are among the most exciting product showcases at EICMA 2024. While 390 Adventure is a new generation of company’s adventure tourer, 390 Enduro and 390 SMC are completely new and have been breaking light for the first time ever. By unveiling these new products, KTM now offers five body styles with the 390 platform – Duke, RC, Adventure, Enduro and SMC.
    2025 KTM 390 Adventure R Unveiled
2025 KTM 390 Lineup At EICMA
Next-gen 390 Duke was launched first across many international markets including India, the other models within 390 lineup needed updating. Improving on their previous iterations are 390 Duke (street fighter) and just unveiled 390 Adventure (tourer, off-roader), while next Gen RC 390 is under testing.
    2025 KTM 390 Adventure R
Now, KTM has added two entirely new body styles with 390 lineup – Enduro and SMC. Both motorcycles were just showcased at EICMA 2024. Before diving deep into Enduro and SMC, we have to start with 390 Adventure as it is the most popular one. For the next Gen 390 Adventure, KTM has been offering varied capabilities with the help of variants.
    2025 KTM 390 Adventure R
390 Adventure is offered in X and R variants. Bodywork remains the same between the two, but only the 390 Adventure R variant gets TFT instrument cluster, cornering ABS and MTC. X variant is a more road-focused tourer with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, non-adjustable front and rear suspension with 200 mm travel.
    [embedded content]
R variant, on the other hand, is a more off-road-worthy offering with improved hardware like 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, off-road tyres, and fully adjustable suspension with 230 mm travel, among others. Ground clearance is higher with R variant and seat height is 885 mm, while X variant has a seat height of 825 mm.
    2025 KTM 390 Enduro R
    390 Enduro R and 390 SMC R
Where Adventure lineup is more of a semi-faired tourer/off-roader, KTM’s new Enduro lineup aims to be more hardcore and eager to take on the rough stuff. For starters, it ditches Adventure’s fairing and associated weight, making it more manageable to ride off-road. While it lacks a windscreen, it retains the front beak. Headlight and instrument clusters are a simpler units, unlike Adventure’s.
    2025 KTM 390 Enduro R
Another new body style with KTM’s 390 lineup is SMC R, adhering to Supermoto genre. This is likely to be very popular owing to its fun quotient. The main differentiating factor is the 17-inch front and rear wheels wrapped with sporty tyres for maximum corner carving credentials. It gets unique styling with quirky elements, making it stand out within KTM’s 390 lineup.
    2025 KTM 390 SMC R
All of the showcased 390 motorcycles (2025 KTM 390 Adventure R, 390 Enduro R and 390 SMC R) will be manufactured at Bajaj’s facility in Pune and shipped to various markets. New 390 Adventure (X and R) and 390 Enduro R are more likely to launch in India, while 390 SMC R might be skipped, until there is demand, of course. More

The new Classic 650 is expected to single-handedly dominate the company’s 650cc portfolio like Classic 350 has done with the 350cc portfolio. Royal Enfield Classic 650 Unveiled
With Classic 650, Royal Enfield aims to provide Classic 350 owners a worthy upgrade, while still offering the same design. This is an incredible feat to achieve and Royal Enfield has done it beautifully. Classic 650 looks exactly like Classic 350, but the timeless design has been proportionally ported over to the larger size.
At passing glance, Classic 650 looks like a Classic 350. But that’s deliberate as the design is what sells the Classic brand and has turned Royal Enfield’s fortunes around. From the looks of it, Classic 650 might very well be one of the prettiest middle-weight retro motorcycles on sale in the world. It weighs 243 kg, though.
    Classic 650 Unveiled

    BMW Concept F 450 GS Revealed – 2-Cyl 450cc Engine, 48 bhp, 175 kg

BMW Concept F 450 GS RevealedWhen launched, BMW Concept F 450 GS might take on the likes of recently spied Aprilia Tuareg 457 among others rivals
Legacy motorcycle manufacturers have been looking into launching more affordable offerings to broaden their sales horizon. BMW has a fruitful partnership with TVS Motor in India and has successfully established a 310cc single-cylinder platform. This platform has spawned G 310 R street fighter, G 310 GS ADV-Tourer and G 310 RR supersport.
Now, the company has teased a new 450cc platform to offer buyers that want more than what this 310cc platform offers. For starters, this new 450 platform is powered by a 450cc twin-cylinder engine that can generate 48 bhp. As revealed by the company, the first motorcycle based on this new platform is an Adventure-Tourer called F 450 GS.
    BMW F 450 GS
BMW Concept F 450 GS Revealed
One of world’s renowned motorcycle manufacturers, BMW Motorrad, has been branching out its portfolio to include a new 450 platform. The company has teased a new GS concept motorcycle based on this platform. Currently in its concept form, this motorcycle has a high probability of making it to production.
Where design is concerned, BMW Motorrad has stuck to its GS genes. The company has trickled down a lot of design elements from bigger GS bikes into this motorcycle. At the front, BMW Concept F 450 GS bears a quad-element LED DRL signature like bigger GS bikes. Production-spec motorcycle will have a functional headlight too.
    [embedded content]
There is an integrated beak at the front, which is a part of its semi fairing. We can also see a reasonably tall windscreen that should reduce wind buffeting. A large radiator for liquid-cooling is also present inside the body work at the front. Also prominent at the front, we have USD telescopic forks finished in a lovely gold shade.
    BMW F 450 GS
These front forks are not adjustable, though. Rear gets a mono-shock setup. Knuckle guards, BMW classic colourway on White, a single-piece rally seat, rear luggage rack, a clean rear tail section (production model will get tail lights and turn indicators), an Akrapovic exhaust and a fully digital instrument cluster with advanced features are some of the notable elements.
    BMW F 450 GS
    What to expect?
There seems to be a tubular trellis frame and subframe. Wheels are of wire-spoke type and they seem to be 19-inchers at the front and 17-inchers at the rear. Tyres are chunky off-road types that will provide a lot of grip and leverage off the road. Saddle width seems manageable too, and so does the rider’s triangle.
    BMW F 450 GS
The 450cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine is the key highlight of BMW Concept F 450 GS. It makes 48 bhp and this concept weighs only 175 kg. Say 180-185 kg for production model. It is primarily developed for A2 class riders in Europe, but could be a worthy weapon against recently spied Aprilia Tuareg 457. More

Hero Karizma XMR 250 Teased – Quarter-Litre SuperSport To Debut At EICMA

Hero Karizma XMR 250 TeasedWith a 250cc powertrain, Hero Karizma XMR 250 might develop up to 30 bhp of peak power and 25 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox
World’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, has been on the verge of overhauling its premium motorcycle lineup for some time. The company has been working on a new 250cc engine and has teased for the first time on a Karizma XMR 250. There is a major overhaul in terms of design too, positioning Karizma XMR 250 as sharper and meaner.
    Hero Karizma XMR 250 Teased
For everyone who were looking for a reasonably priced quarter-litre supersport, Hero Karizma XMR 250 will appeal a lot. Even though price is not revealed, we can count on Hero MotoCorp to position it very attractively. Even Rs 2 lakh (Ex-sh) price point might be viable too, which is around Rs 20K more than Karizma XMR 210.
    Karizma XMR 250 Fascia
Before diving into the design and features revealed from the teased video, we have to talk about Karizma XMR 250’s rivals. Hero is smartly creating a niche for itself, rather than chasing existing and well-established players. When launched, it will be the country’s only fully-fired liquid-cooled 250cc motorcycle.
If Hero managed to price it around Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.10 lakh, it would emerge as one of the most tempting propositions to ignore. With the larger Karizma XMR 250, Hero is offering more aggressive design as seen in the teaser. The windscreen is taller and is likely to be height adjustable like on Karizma XMR 210.
Karizma XMR 250 Vs Karizma XMR 210
While the fascia appears to be the same, there are changes. For starters, it looks wider than before and a lot more edgy and aggressive. There are massive aerodynamic winglets with XMR 250 branding. Just like on the recently launched TVS Apache RR 310, we expect these winglets on Karizma to add downforce as well.
Rear tail lights have been carried over and so are the LED turn indicators. The design patents leaked some time ago, confirm the presence of USD telescopic front forks, adding to the sporty handling characteristics. Combined with aerodynamic winglets, Karizma XMR 250 might transform its handling characteristics.
    Karizma XMR 250
How much more powerful is the new engine?
Apart from that, we expect a stronger braking setup to anchor what will be a faster and quicker motorcycle. Dual-channel ABS is confirmed. Features-wise, we can see the same TFT instrument cluster as regular Karizma XMR 210 and it will sport Bluetooth and navigation feature. With the new Karizma XMR 210, there seems to be more connectivity features including a SOS button.
    Karizma XMR 250
The new 250cc engine is likely to be a bored-out version of the 210cc mill. This is a liquid-cooled single-cylinder mill with DOHC 4V head that might generate around 30 bhp of peak power and 25 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Official performance numbers will be revealed soon.
