2023 Ford F-150 Shelby Centennial Makes up to 800 All-American Horsepower

Shelby American has revealed its latest creation, the 2023 Ford F-150 Centennial Edition. The Centennial Edition F-150 can be ordered in either 400- or 800-hp configurations, with only 100 units of the more powerful version being made.Pricing for the Centennial Edition includes the donor Lariat 4×4, 5.0L SuperCrew, and starts at $129,495 for the naturally aspirated truck and $138,495 for the supercharged version.Shelby American is continuing the long tradition of naming things after Carroll Shelby with the creation of more specially tuned creations. The performance outfitter kicked off the year with the introduction of a 750-hp Centennial Edition Mustang. In a slight twist, the newest creation built to honor the late Shelby is an F-150–based performance truck, capable of producing up to 800 horsepower. Based on the 2023 F-150 Lariat 4×4 SuperCrew, the Centennial Edition comes standard with the same naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V-8 that comes optional on the standard Ford model. That’s kind of boring, so Shelby also added an optional supercharger system complete with a performance air intake with high flow filter, aluminum heat exchanger and a billet throttle body with high-flow fuel injectors. The optional system brings total output to a much more reasonable 800 horsepower. Opting for either engine configuration will equip the Centennial Edition with a Borla cat-back exhaust system to snort exhaust fumes out the black dual exhaust pipes at the back. Shelby AmericanNot satisfied with an exhaust system and supercharger, the Shelby team fit the Centennial with Fox shocks that have adjustable dual speed controls. According to Shelby, the system allows the shocks to be adjusted from better off-road capability, to better track handling, and even to a more luxurious ride. Off-road capability is also aided by upgraded brakes that now live within a set of 22-inch alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich all-terrain KO2 tires.More Centennial ShelbyThe interior is updated as well, and now has two-tone leather upholstery complete with Centennial Edition logos. Shelby Centennial floor mats, billet racing pedals, and tinted windows complete the rest of the interior, with the official Shelby serial number printed on a plaque on the dash.Shelby AmericanNaturally, Shelby will only make 100 examples of the truck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its founder’s birth. The base 400-hp version carries a starting price of $129,495, while the supercharged truck starts at $138,495. The trucks come with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty, which includes the powertrain and still allows for stock features like over-the-air updates and the onboard generator. New Hero Karizma Launch Teaser – Fastest Ride Coming On 14th June

2023 Hero Karizma ZMRThe new 210cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine is likely to generate 25 bhp of power and 25 Nm of torque and equipped with a 6-speed gearboxProspect of Hero MotoCorp resurrecting its iconic Karizma brand has enthusiasts jumping in joy. For the OG Karizma had played strings of many Indian hearts. The company recently showcased the upcoming Karizma XMR 210 to dealers. Now, Hero MotoCorp has shared a new teaser on their social media, which announces a new launch on 14th June 2023. It is likely to be of the new Karizma.2023 Hero Karizma spy shot was leaked earlier. In its new avatar, it is a much sharper and sleeker motorcycle than Xtreme 200S. With the new design and a stronger engine, Karizma might assert dominance in 200-250cc fully faired motorcycle space.2023 Hero Karizma launch teaserHero Karizma XMR launch on 14th JuneIf we compare the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR with the recently showcased Xtreme 200S 4V, there are not a lot of component differences. For starters, conventional telescopic front forks, petal disc brakes, 100/80-17 front and 130/70-17 rear tyres look similar. Alloys look different and so does the rest of the motorcycle. There seems to be a new frame along with a new subframe. Fairing looks sharper and more aerodynamic. Headlights are sleeker and ORVMs are mounted on fairing. Clip-on handlebars look like they’re slightly higher set for comfort and relatively upright riding position. But it puts the headlight too low in contrast to its handlebars. Suzuki Gixxer SF features a similar design trait as well.Rear subframe is sleeker too. Hero has mounted pillion footpegs to this subframe. Split seat setup lends a sporty appeal. Exhaust end can is stubbier than Xtreme 200S. The fuel tank is taller and allows riders to grip it between their thighs. Black elements cut down on visual bulk significantly. The sleek body panels add to that effect too.New Karizma XMR’s get a liquid-cooled beating heartThis is the first Hero MotoCorp motorcycle to feature a liquid-cooled setup. Even the larger 420-450cc engine co-developed with Harley-Davidson is air and oil-cooled. Rumour mill suggests a new 6-speed gearbox that should aid high-speed highway cruising and fuel efficiency with a top-gear in overdrive ratio. The new engine is highly likely to displace 210cc as denoted by the 210 in Hero’s trademark. Performance figures might be around 25 bhp and 25 Nm of torque. This would be a sweet spot to rival the likes of Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and Bajaj Pulsar RS200. We hope the same engine is equipped with Xpulse in the future. Off-road ability and high-speed highway cruising will get a solid boost.A fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, ABS modes, instant fuel economy, LED lighting, hazard light are highly likely features. Considering that Hero is skimping on USD front forks, pricing will be aggressive, which will be a key strength for Karizma XMR 210. Prices could be in the Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 1.8 lakh range. More

2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 spied undisguised – Next to Bajaj Boxer

2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 spiedThe same 399cc (rumoured) single-cylinder engine from 2024 KTM 390 Duke is likely to be part of Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401Bajaj Auto manufactures KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles under 400cc at their plant near Pune in India. Now, a new gen Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 production-spec motorcycle has been spied undisguised inside a Bajaj Auto plant, as standing next to it is the export spec Bajaj Boxer. In India, Husqvarna only offers their 250cc range, and not the 401s. Will that change with the launch of this new gen motorcycle? Only time will tell. From the spy shots, it seems like the 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 gets the same set of updates that recently spied 2024 KTM 390 Duke received.2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 spied – The Black ArrowOf the two motorcycles offered by Husqvarna, Svartpilen is a neo-retro scrambler-ish offering, while Svartpilen is a neo-retro cafe racer. This particular model lacks a tank rack, wire-spoke rims, upright handlebar and block-pattern tyres that are historically reminiscent of Svartpilen. Both next-gen Husqy twins will carry the same set of updates that next-gen KTM 390 Duke is getting. We’re talking about a brand new tubular trellis frame and an updated 399cc (rumoured) engine with more performance than the outgoing 373cc unit.Other notable changes similar to the new Duke include adjustable USD front forks from WP, a banana-shaped swingarm, an underbelly exhaust, an off-set rear mono-shock suspension with rebound adjust and more. Apart from KTM-sourced componentry, there are generational changes to new-gen Huskies as opposed to outgoing models.Changes from outgoing modelFor starters, the new bike looks bigger. Apart from that, we hope for better pillion comfort and better fit and finish and less exposed wiring. The new tail section is now at the rear subframe, rather than on its tyre hugger. This change is likely to apply to both Svartpilen and Vitpilen.Previous set of spy shots featured a test mule with block-pattern tyres, wire-spoke rims, a taller handlebar, and a rack on the fuel tank. This is likely to be a Scrambler variant of Svartpilen. Most of the electronic goodies from next gen KTM 390 Duke are likely to be a part of new gen Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 as well.India launch is likely as there is a saree guard present on the spied motorcycle. Husqvarna’s popularity in the Indian premium motorcycle segment is far less than KTM’s. We would wager that Husqvarna wants to upgrade itself in India and improve from the 100 motorcycles sold in April 2023.Image Source More

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 3D Model Reveals New Design Details

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 3D renderThe new 450cc engine on RE Himalayan 450 might generate around 35 bhp of power and 40 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearboxRoyal Enfield is currently working on a new 450cc platform. Himalayan will be the first of the many motorcycles based on this new platform. Testing continues in full swing. Production-spec test mules have surfaced too. Launch is expected in Sep 2023.There are enough spy shots online that one can visualise what RE Himalayan 450 will look like. TrippleLines channel has now visualised Himalayan 450 and created a thorough 3D model of it using CAD software.RE Himalayan 450 3D ModelBecause final production finishes are still unknown, TrippleLines has left surfaces matte black. Matte black is what most manufacturers opt for before finalising the surface finishes and colour schemes. They have gotten most of the design right, except for its exhaust design. In the 3D model, Himalayan 450’s exhaust is somewhat boxier than in reality. This exhaust is significantly stubbier than outgoing Himalayan and Scram 411. Because the exhaust end can is not as high, water-wading capacity will be lowered. Also, rear turn indicators are not as sleek as in the model and definitely not shaped like a leaf. Speaking of rear turn indicators, they even double up as brake lights too. We have seen similar arrangement in premium BMW and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.[embedded content]Other than that, this 3D rendering gets most things right. Details like USD front forks with splash guards, front and rear spoke-rim wheels, larger 21” front wheel and 17” rear wheel, saddle stays, jerry can holders, rear top rack with sturdy grab rails, the mandatory saree guard, round LED headlights and sleek LED turn indicators, a tall windscreen, round instrument cluster and more. The new engine will pack a punchEngine details are captured perfectly too. This is the first Royal Enfield to get a liquid cooling setup. Himalayan 450 3D model render features a similar heat jacket as seen in the spy shots. Royal Enfield should have provided air cooling fins on this engine even though it is a liquid-cooled engine for aesthetics. Yezdi and Jawa motorcycles get this right. In terms of displacement, this engine will fall in the 450cc bracket. Speculations suggest 35 bhp and 40 Nm. 6-speed transmission is probably on the cards too, making Himalayan 450 the first single-cylinder offering from RE to get one.Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 3D render – Side viewIn previous test mules, the front wheel appeared to be smaller than 21”. This could be Himalayan’s low seat height version like KTM offers with its 390 Adventure. When launched, RE Himalayan 450 will primarily rival upcoming Hero Xpulse 440 in terms of raw off-road capability and other rivals like KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS and Yezdi Adventure. More

2024 Chevy Camaro Bows Out with Blacked-Out Collector’s Edition

Chevrolet has released details for the 2024 Camaro, including a new Collector’s Edition commemorating the sixth-generation model’s final year. The Collector’s Edition has black paint, special trim, different wheels, and other goodies. It costs between $4995 and $5995 for the standard models and $14,995 for the supercharged ZL1.As Chevy prepares to open orders for the sixth-generation Camaro’s final model year, it’s releasing a special Collector’s Edition version of the muscle car. The 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition is an option package that brings special visuals including black paint, badging, different wheels, and other extras. It’s available for the coupe and convertible and on the 1LT, LT, and 1SS trim levels; the supercharged ZL1 gets its own extra-special Collector’s Edition that will be limited to 350 units.More on the CamaroThe standard Collector’s Edition package, which costs $4995 for the 1LT, $5495 for the LT1, and $5995 for the 1SS, brings Panther Black metallic paint, black stripes, 20-inch black wheels, the front splitter from the 1LE performance package, and—on coupes at least—the ZL1’s rear spoiler. Chevy is highlighting that the Camaro’s original code name was Panther (not to be confused with Ford’s Panther platform, of course) by integrating Panther graphics into the Camaro badges on the doors and onto the steering wheel. There are also special floor mats and a welcome kit that includes two Camaro posters.ZL1 Collector’s EditionChevroletFor significantly more money, the ZL1’s Collector’s Edition upgrades include Panther Matte Black paint, a serialized badge notating which number the car is in the run of 350 units. Purchase of a ZL1 also includes a special Shinola watch meant to match the car.For the 1LT and LT1 trims, choosing the Collector’s Edition also requires adding the RS package. This puts the all-in prices for coupe models at $39,440 for the 1LT Collector’s edition, $47,385 for the LT1 Collector’s Edition, $49,890 for the 1SS Collector’s Edition, and $89,990 for the ZL1 Collector’s Edition.Chevy is also dropping the Camaro’s available turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four base engine for 2024. This leaves the 335-hp 3.6-liter V-6, the 455-hp 6.2-liter V-8, and of course the ZL1’s 650-hp supercharged 6.2-liter V-8. Base prices rise accordingly, to $32,495 for the LT coupe and $38,495 for the LT convertible. Orders for the 2024 model open June 15, and production will end in January 2024.This content is imported from poll. Tata Sierra Electric Pickup Render – A Captivating Heavy Lifter

Tata Sierra Pickup EV – RenderTata Sierra electric SUV is expected to debut in 2025, which could be followed by other body styles such as an electric pickupAfter successfully resurrecting Safari, Tata is working to achieve something similar with the Sierra brand. Around three decades back, Sierra was a popular SUV that boasted of 4×4 capabilities. There’s even greater scope for Sierra now, owing to the increasing demand for lifestyle SUVs.Sierra was unveiled as a pre-production electric SUV concept at 2023 Auto Expo. It is possible that Tata may introduce ICE powertrains as well with Sierra. To showcase the potential of Sierra concept, Pratyush Rout has come up with a digital render of electric pickup version of the SUV.Tata Sierra electric pickup digital renderOne of the factors that had made Sierra a popular SUV in the 1990’s was its bold design and dominating street presence. A lot has changed with the Sierra electric concept, but the SUV’s core character has been retained. The electric pickup render continues with the same design philosophy. However, there are some unique features that Sierra electric pickup will always miss. For example, the wrap-around rear window was a key design highlight of the original Sierra. This feature has been retained even with the electric version of Sierra. Specific tweaks have been introduced in line with modern design aesthetics and to accommodate the two extra doors.Tata Sierra Pickup EV – RenderEarlier this year, it was revealed that none other than Ratan Tata had asked the team to not lose out on the signature features of Sierra SUV. Ratan Tata has a special liking for Sierra, as its launch in 1991 coincided with the company’s entry into passenger vehicle segment. Unfortunately, such signature features cannot be retained with the electric pickup version that gets a cargo bed at rear. Most other features of Sierra electric pickup concept are the same as the electric SUV concept. Some of the key highlights include a prominent front fascia with sleek LED headlamps and a full-width LED light bar bordering the bonnet. Side profile has wide body cladding, squarish wheel arches, sporty dual-tone alloy wheels and door side moulding. A-pillar has been blacked out and flush door handles ensure a clutter-free profile.Sierra electric expected performanceDetails about Sierra electric’s powertrain and other specs are yet to be revealed. What is known is that Sierra electric is based on Tata’s Gen 2 architecture. It is a heavily modified version of the ALFA platform. It can accommodate various powertrains and drivetrain options.Tata Sierra Pickup EV – RenderIf Tata launches ICE versions of Sierra in future, it could borrow the 2.0-litre turbo diesel motor that does duty onboard Harrier and Safari. It makes 170 PS / 350 Nm and has transmission options of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. Harrier and Safari are expected to get turbo petrol option too, possibly with the upcoming facelift version. Tata’s new 1.5-litre petrol unit makes 170 PS and 280 Nm. This could be offered with Sierra as well. Both manual and automatic transmission options will be available.Disclaimer – Design renders presented in this blog are solely for illustrative purposes and have not been commissioned, approved, or endorsed by the manufacturer.
