2026 Hayabusa Debuts With Torque Boost, Enhanced Cruise Control

2026 HayabusaIn addition to the technical updates, the 2026 Hayabusa is now also available in a Special Edition model with exclusive features
Suzuki has unveiled the 2026 Hayabusa, offering refined performance and updated electronics. The new model was recently showcased at the Motorcycle Live (MCL) event, held at the NEC in Birmingham. The standard model is now available at a starting price of £18,599 (Rs 21.60 lakh), whereas the Special Edition version is priced at £18,999 (Rs 22.06 lakh). Let’s check out the details.
    2026 Suzuki Hayabusa – What’s new?
For the 2026 Hayabusa, Suzuki has updated the throttle maps to deliver higher torque at low RPM. Users can expect quicker and stronger acceleration without the need to rev hard. This update will allow smoother rides in urban environments since the engine will now respond better at low RPM. Overtaking at low speeds will also become easier.
Suzuki has updated the cruise control setup to ensure that it remains active even during gear shifts. In the previous model, the standard approach was used wherein the cruise control would turn off when the user shifted gears. With the cruise control now active during gear changes, users can expect smoother highway riding. There won’t be any hassle of resetting the cruise control every time the user shifts gears. This update will reduce fatigue and make long rides a lot more enjoyable.
Another useful update is smoother launch control and a new lithium-ion battery. Users can expect faster and more predictable take-offs, which will be useful at traffic stops and track environments. The lithium-ion battery used is lightweight and designed to deliver improved electrical performance.
    2026 Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition
Suzuki has introduced a Special Edition version of the 2026 Hayabusa, which gets an exclusive colourway. This model also gets some exclusive graphics, badging elements and some new features. As compared to the standard version that has a black shade with red accents, the 2026 Special Edition Hayabusa has a blue shade with white accents. Both these colours have a strong association with Suzuki race bikes.
An aerodynamic seat cowl is offered as standard with the 2026 Hayabusa Special Edition. This accessory enhances the bike’s sporty aesthetics, especially the side profile. The distinctive colour scheme is complemented with 3D ‘Suzuki’ black decals, placed on a white background on the sides of the fuel tank. Similarly, the top section of the fuel tank gets a circular ‘Special Edition Hayabusa’ badge.
This badge also displays the ‘Hayabusa’ in Japanese Kanji character, highlighting the bike’s Japanese origins and heritage. Another benefit for enthusiasts choosing the 2026 Hayabusa Special Edition is the discounted pricing for official Akrapovic exhausts. While the market price of these exhausts is £3,025 (Rs 3.51 lakh), Suzuki is offering them for just £1,999 (Rs 2.32 lakh) with the 2026 Hayabusa Special Edition. Cost of fitting is included in the price of the Akrapovic exhaust upgrade.
2026 Suzuki Hayabusa continues to be powered by the 1340 cc, 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that generates 190 PS and 150 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. Across international markets, Suzuki Hayabusa competes primarily with Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. More

KTM RC 160 Spied Testing – R15 Rival Could Launch In 2026

KTM RC 160 Spied TestingBajaj and KTM are stepping up their game in the premium 150cc to 160cc motorcycle segment. The company recently launched KTM 160 Duke to take on Yamaha MT-15, a premium 150cc liquid-cooled street fighter. Based on the same platform, KTM is now eyeing Yamaha R15 with a supersport version of 160 Duke which might be called RC 160. Let’s take a closer look.
    KTM RC 160 Spied Testing
It was September 2025 when KTM launched 160 Duke in the country and it took on the premium street fighter segment where Yamaha MT-15 had dominance. Now, Bajaj and KTM are working on a new supersport motorcycle to rival Yamaha R15 and R15M, which has achieved cult status in India owing to its overall performance, styling and equipment.
KTM had confirmed that there will be a supersport version of 160 Duke and it has spied testing on Indian roads in the form of KTM RC 160. In typical KTM fashion, the upcoming RC 160 bears similar design as its bigger RC brothers and in the company’s portfolio, it will be slotted below RC 200, where RC 125 used to be.
    KTM RC 160 Spied Testing
Spy shots show a test mule donning a Black and Orange combination. USD forks and alloy wheels are finished in Black with this colourway. It gets a Trellis mainframe and a bolt-on rear subframe like its larger RC siblings. Clip-on handlebars, fairing-mounted ORVMs and sculpted fuel tank are other notable elements.
The way rider is sitting, it looks like KTM RC 160 will command a committed riding posture with a lean on handlebars and rear-set footpegs. Cycle parts include USD telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, 17-inch alloy wheels, fat tyres, large disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, a split seat and split rear grab rails are notable.
    What to expect?
Features-wise, KTM RC 160 will get a 5-inch fully digital LCD instrument cluster with a host of attributes. It is also seen on 160 Duke and will support Bluetooth connection along with turn-by-turn navigation. Considering R15 offers one, KTM RC 160 might get a bi-directional quick-shifter as well.
    KTM RC 160 Spied Testing
Powering this vehicle will be the same 164cc single-cylinder DOHC 4V/cyl liquid-cooled engine that is capable of generating 19 PS of peak power and 15.5 Nm of peak torque, mated to a slipper clutch and a 6-speed gearbox. Considering how production ready this test mule looks, KTM RC 160 is likely to launch early in 2026.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 To Debut At Motoverse – What We Know So Far

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 TeasedAfter a grand debut at the 2025 EICMA Show, Royal Enfield is expected to showcase the new Himalayan 750 at 2025 Motoverse in Goa held between 21st to 23rd of November, 2025. This is the first time Himalayan 750 will be officially showcased on Indian soil and ahead of that, test mules continue to be spied on in the country. Here are all the things we know ahead of its India debut.
Himalayan 750 To Debut At Motoverse
First of these 750cc Royal Enfield twinners is likely to be Continental GT 750 and then Himalayan 750. More eyes seem to be on the Himalayan 750 as it is likely to emerge as a versatile option for many aspirational bikers across the world. Royal Enfield has officially teased it alongside an electric Himalayan prototype testing in the Himalayan mountain range.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Alloy Variant
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 shows a similar styling exercise as Himalayan 450 with rear turn indicators mounted tail lights, a sturdy-looking luggage rack and even a saree guard, suggesting that this middle-weight ADV is in its final rounds of testing. The last test mule sighting showed an alloy wheel version and there is a more trail-worthy wire-spoke wheel version spied as well.
Himalayan 750 looks substantially larger than Himalayan 450 and it seems to be bearing a larger fuel tank as well. There is a probability of it accommodating around 20L of fuel. There’s a single exhaust which is up-swept to allow water wading. Front windshield is large and might bring adjustability into the equation as well.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Alloy Variant with Adjustable Suspension
The unit showcased at EICMA Show had USD front forks with adjustability for compression and rebound along with cross-spoke wheels. As revealed in previous spy shots, rear is likely to get adjustable suspension too and one can see a remote pre-load adjuster. Tripper Dash makes its way here and we can see dual disc brake setup at the front.
Expected features include ride-by-wire throttle with cruise control, a bi-directional quick-shifter, circular LED headlights, LED tail lights and integrated turn indicators, Google Maps mirroring, music control, switchable dual-channel ABS and even a centre stand.
    Royal Enfield Himalayan 750
    New 750cc engine
With a 650cc engine, Royal Enfield finally stepped into the ring of multi-cylinder middle-weight motorcycles. Before that, Royal Enfield used to have a 499cc single-cylinder unit and a big bore version of it with a 535cc engine seen in Continental GT 535. Now, the company’s big displacement aspirations have navigated it to a new 750cc unit.
While performance metrics are not confirmed by Royal Enfield, Himalayan 750 might pack around 60 bhp of peak power and around 55 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This parallel-twin oil-cooled engine is expected to be refined and offer a fatigue-free touring experience to riders.

KTM 390 Adventure, Adventure X Price Hike Up To Rs 27k – GST Buffer Ends

    New KTM 390 Adventure X
KTM has officially increased prices for two of its popular ADV motorcycles — the 390 Adventure and the 390 Adventure X — after absorbing the GST-linked cost burden for the past couple of months. This comes following the implementation of GST 2.0, which raised the tax rate on motorcycles above 350cc from 31% to 40%.
When GST 2.0 was rolled out, Bajaj Auto had announced that it would temporarily absorb the impact for all KTM and Triumph models above 350cc. That move helped KTM maintain aggressive pricing and deliver record sales last month. However, with the buffer period now over, revised prices have been rolled out.
The revised pricing pushes both ADVs notably higher, widening the gap once again with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Over the last couple of months, the price difference had narrowed significantly thanks to KTM’s GST absorption.
KTM 390 Adventure, Adventure X Price Hike
Other KTM 390 Models Remain Unchanged — For Now
As of today, the 390 Duke, RC 390, and the soon-to-launch 390 Enduro have not received a GST-driven price revision. However, industry expectations suggest that a hike is inevitable as KTM adjusts its portfolio to the new tax structure.
Impact on KTM 390 Range Sales
The KTM 390 lineup has been performing strongly, especially after the price stability KTM maintained during the GST transition. However, the latest hike may slow momentum in the short term. In a market as price-sensitive as India, a Rs 20,000–27,000 jump is substantial — particularly when rivals like the Himalayan 450 and Yezdi Adventure continue to operate in a relatively stable price band.
390 Adventure range may still attract enthusiasts who prioritise performance and features, but casual buyers or first-time ADV seekers could now lean toward more affordable alternatives. If similar hikes follow for the 390 Duke and RC 390, overall volumes for the 390 platform could face pressure in the coming months. More

Honda Super ONE Prototype Track Drive – The Tiny EV That Thinks Like a Hot Hatch

Honda Super ONE PrototypeHonda recently flew us to Japan for an exclusive look into its future—new products, new tech, and a clear roadmap for India. But the biggest highlight of the trip wasn’t inside a hall at the Japan Mobility Show. It was outside Tokyo, at the Honda Tochigi Proving Grounds, where we finally got behind the wheel of the Super ONE Prototype, Honda’s upcoming compact EV designed to redefine everyday mobility.
A Compact EV Built to Be Fun – Not Just Efficient
And after driving it on Honda’s private test track, one thing is clear: This is not a typical small electric car. This is a tiny EV with the heart and behaviour of a sporty hatchback. The Super ONE Prototype will go on sale first in Japan in 2026, followed by the U.K. and select Asian markets. This A-segment EV is based on Honda’s idea of “e: Dash BOOSTER”—a car that makes even your daily commute feel fun and engaging.
    Honda Super ONE Prototype
Honda has used a reworked version of its N-Series lightweight platform, widened significantly with a broader tread and flared fenders. The moment you turn the steering wheel, the prototype reacts instantly. No delay, no softness—just direct, clean response. The battery is placed flat and low in the center of the car, giving it:
    – One of the lowest centres of gravity in its class– Outstanding responsiveness to steering inputs– Surprising stability in corners for something this small
    Honda Super ONE Prototype
On the Track: Light, Agile, and Shockingly Stable
At Tochigi, Honda let us drive the Super ONE Prototype on the handling course—tight bends, long sweepers, sudden direction changes. Unlike most small EVs that feel upright and appliance-like, the Super ONE feels balanced, athletic, and surprisingly confidence-inspiring. Within minutes, the car’s dynamic personality becomes obvious:
    Honda Super ONE Prototype
    – It feels playful and eager, like a go-kart with Honda engineering finesse.– The stiffened chassis and widened stance deliver remarkable composure, even during quick lane changes.– The low-set battery keeps the car planted, letting you push harder than you’d expect from an A-segment EV.
The Magic Trick: Boost Mode + Simulated 7-Speed Gearbox
This is where Honda pulls off something unique—something we’ve never experienced in a small EV.
    Honda Super ONE Prototype
Boost Mode – A mode created exclusively for this car. Engage it, and the Super ONE suddenly wakes up:
    – Power output increases noticeably– Acceleration becomes sharper– Simulated engine sound fills the cabin– Virtual 7-speed gearbox kicks in with realistic shift behaviour
    Honda Super ONE Prototype
Honda has engineered this simulation beautifully. The system calculates gear position, virtual RPM, throttle input, and vehicle behaviour in real time. It’s playful, addictive, and genuinely engaging. This is not a gimmick—it’s Honda’s way of bringing ICE driving emotion into the EV era. You actually feel:
    – Kickdown shocks– Rev-matched virtual downshifts– Fuel-cut sensation during coasting
    Honda Super ONE Prototype
    Who Is It For?
Honda says the Super ONE is for people who want a compact, city-friendly EV but also want something that feels alive. It’s meant for everyday Japanese and European urban environments—but with an emotional, spirited driving character rarely seen in small EVs. In short, this is a car that makes short trips exciting and long trips enjoyable.
    Battery / Specs
While Honda hasn’t officially revealed the battery or motor specifications for the Super ONE, we believe it packs a far more performance-oriented setup than the electric N One e it’s based on. Both cars share the same wheelbase, front-wheel-drive layout, and much of the underlying structure — but that’s where the similarities end. The Super ONE gets wider tyres, a significantly broader track, and a reworked steering system, making it more driver focused.
    Honda Super ONE Prototype
The chassis has been widened and stiffened, the suspension reinforced, and the steering rack quickened — all pointing toward a more athletic character. For reference, the N One e uses a 29.6 kWh battery and a 64 PS motor with 160 Nm of torque, but the Super ONE clearly delivers stronger performance. Battery size could be a little bigger, but the tuning and motor output are expected to be noticeably more potent, giving the Super ONE the lively, playful behaviour we experienced on the track.
    Will It Come to India?
Honda is evaluating multiple EV options for India, including the Super ONE’s platform. But the Super ONE itself is not confirmed for our market yet. However, after experiencing the Super ONE on Honda’s Tochigi test track, it’s clear that this is not just another compact EV — it’s a personality-packed, fun-to-drive, premium small car unlike anything currently sold in India. And that’s exactly why Honda should seriously consider launching it here. Our market has no truly exciting, high-quality, city-friendly EV in this size or format; everything either feels too basic or too large for our traffic conditions.
    Honda Super ONE Prototype
The Super ONE, with its low centre of gravity, sharp steering, playful character and Boost Mode theatrics, would be perfect for Indian roads — quick, manoeuvrable and genuinely enjoyable even at low speeds. More importantly, bringing this model to India would do wonders for Honda’s brand image. For years, enthusiasts have been waiting for Honda to bring back something youthful, emotional and ride-focused. The Super ONE could be that turning point — a product that reminds people what made Honda special in the first place, while also aligning with India’s fast-growing EV push. If Honda gets the pricing right, this could become one of the most talked-about urban EVs in the country. More
