Mahindra XUV3XO EV Spied In Near-Production Form – Nexon EV Rival

Mahindra XUV3XO EV SpiedUnlike the 4.2m length of XUV400, the upcoming XUV3XO EV is likely to be under the 4m constraint similar to ICE XUV3XO on sale
Ever since Mahindra launched the XUV400, it has been hailed as the most performant and fun-to-drive electric offering in its segment. Since launch, Mahindra updated it once earlier this year with a refreshed interior, while the exteriors were yet to be refreshed. That is happening now and we are seeing more test mules of XUV3XO EV.
    Mahindra XUV3XO EV Spied
Essentially, XUV3XO EV is XUV400 facelift. Mahindra is updating XUV400 with a new design language, similar to the one we saw with XUV3XO. It will have a lot of road presence and will appeal to a broader range of audiences, owing to its new design. This is a radical new design that is likely to boost the sales of XUV400 or XUV3XO EV in its segment.
    Mahindra XUV3XO EV Front
Speaking of segments, there is a massive jump in XUV3XO EV’s positioning. While rest of the manufacturers are making their vehicles larger, Mahindra is making the XUV400 smaller and will fit it into the sub 4m SUV segment. This is a lot logical too as it will now share its underpinnings and all of its exterior sheet metal with ICE XUV3XO.
Thus bringing the costs down. It has to be recalled that XUV400 is a 4.2m long vehicle with a unique rear section than XUV300 (discontinued). This was done in favour of a larger boot. However, ICE XUV3XO has trimmed the spare wheel size and has liberated a larger boot while still being sub 4m in length.
    Mahindra XUV3XO EV Rear
We can expect a similar luggage carrying capacity of 364L of ICE XUV3XO on the upcoming XUV3XO EV. It will adhere to sub 4m length, as suggested by the recent spy shots. Even the 17-inch alloy wheels look identical to those of ICE XUV3XO’s. As of now, the badges seen on this recent test mule read XUV3XO and not XUV3XO EV.
The main differentiating factor is that the XUV3XO EV will come with a Copper contrasting roof, which Mahindra only offered with XUV400. Even on the inside, we can see Copper highlights around the gear selector on centre console. XUV3XO’s large C-shaped LED DRLs, and connected LED tail lights are likely to remain unchanged.
    Mahindra XUV3XO EV
    What does it get?
We can expect the same set of updates that XUV3XO got. For starters, the soft-touch dashboard and door pads, ventilated front seats, LED interior lights, wireless charger, 10.2-inch free-standing infotainment screen, 10.2-inch instrument screen, camera-based Level-2 ADAS, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents and more.
Where powertrains are concerned, XUV400 currently gets 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh battery pack options promising up to 456 km of range on a single charge. The 310 Nm of torque is segment-leading and will be XUV3XO EV’s main selling point. There might be a new battery with around 45 kWh capacity, considering Nexon EV just got one.

New Pulsar N125 Vs Raider, Xtreme 125R, Super Splendor, Shine, SP125

Bajaj Pulsar N125With its distinctive, sporty profile and best-in-segment power-to-weight ratio, Pulsar N125 can be a big challenge for rivals
As part of its plans to continually strengthen the stronghold of the Pulsar range, Bajaj has introduced the all-new Pulsar N125. Prices start at Rs 94,707, making it one of the affordable options in the 125cc segment. To understand its potential, here’s a comparison between Pulsar N125 vs. Hero Xtreme 125R vs. TVS Raider vs. Hero Glamour vs. Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG vs. Super Splendor vs. Pulsar 125 vs. Honda Shine vs. Honda SP125.
Pulsar N125 Vs. Rivals – Styling and features
As first impressions matter, Bajaj has done a good job in terms of the bike’s design and styling. While rivals like TVS Raider and Hero Xtreme 125R too have a sporty profile, Pulsar N125 stands out with its sharp looks and exclusive colour choices.
    [embedded content]
Specially tantalizing is the Ebony black – Purple Fury colour option. This dual-tone shade is available with the LED Disc Bluetooth variant. Some of the key highlights of Pulsar N125 include its sharp panels and tank shrouds, edgy headlamp design, chunky suspension covers, split seats and an underbelly exhaust.
Pulsar N125 Vs. Rivals – Performance
While the visuals get one hooked, Pulsar N125 takes a lead in performance aspects as well. The bike has a 124.58 cc engine that delivers 12 PS. This is the same as the Pulsar NS125 and higher than other rivals. Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider deliver 11.4 PS and 11.38 PS, respectively. Pulsar 125 generates 11.8 PS. Torque output of Pulsar N125 is 11 Nm, which is more than Xtreme 125R (10.5 Nm), but slightly lower than Raider that produces 11.2 Nm. TVS Raider has the highest torque output among all 125cc motorcycles.
    Bajaj Pulsar N125 vs Rivals
Bajaj is claiming the Pulsar N125 to have the fastest-in-segment 0-60 kmph acceleration. One of the key factors making it possible is the lightweight profile of Pulsar N125. Coupled with highest power output, it ensures that the bike has the best power-to-weight ratio in the 125cc segment. Pulsar N125 has a kerb weight of 125 kg. In comparison, the primary rivals Raider and Xtreme 125R weigh 122 kg (drum)/123 kg (disc) and 136 kg, respectively.
Pulsar N125 has the highest power-to-weight ratio at 96 PS/ton. The only other bikes in 125cc segment to have power-to-weight ratio greater than 90 PS/ton include TVS Raider (92.5 (disc)/93.3 (drum)), Honda Shine (93 (disc) / 93.9 (drum)) and SP125 (91.5 (disc)/ 92.3 (drum)). These numbers support Bajaj’s claim that Pulsar N125 is designed to dominate urban streets that have chaotic and heavy traffic. Pulsar N125 is also better designed to tackle rough patches. It has best-in-segment ground clearance of 198 mm.
Pulsar N125 Vs. rivals – Pricing
When compared to primary rivals TVS Raider and Xtreme 125R, Bajaj Pulsar N125 is the most accessible bike. Base variant is priced at Rs 94,707, whereas the top variant starts at Rs 98,707. In comparison, TVS Raider base and top variants are priced at Rs 95,439 and Rs 1,03,830, respectively. Hero Xtreme 125R base and top variants are priced at Rs 95,800 and Rs 99,500, respectively. New Hero XPulse Teased For 2024 EICMA Debut – Future Of ADV Awaits

New Hero XPulse TeasedHero MotoCorp is getting ready to unveil an all new ADV motorcycle at the 2024 EICMA show next month – Is it the new Xpulse?
India’s adventure motorcycle dream for the mainstream market was paved by Hero MotoCorp with the launch of Impulse. Later on, the company launched Xpulse 200, democratizing the ADV genre. Now, Hero is set to climb the next step in its ADV journey with new Xpulse, which will globally debut at EICMA 2024.
    New Hero XPulse Teased Officially
For months, there have been speculations about Hero working on a larger displacement version of the Xpulse. While earlier expectations pointed to an Xpulse 210, recent clues indicate that Hero might be unveiling the Xpulse 440 instead. This would mark a significant step up in terms of performance and features, positioning the new Xpulse as a serious competitor in the mid-capacity adventure motorcycle market.
    New Hero XPulse Teased
All of this hints at a possible global debut of an all new Xpulse. But will it be an Xpulse 210 or Xpulse 440, that remains to be seen. However, after a bit of digging into the bike shown in the teaser, it looks like the image belongs to an aftermarket parts manufacturer called HyperRider. The motorcycle in question is a BS4 Xpulse 200 FI equipped with a few accessories from HyperRider.
If this is a boo-boo from Hero’s digital marketing team, then this reminds us of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza teaser where their marketing team had used images of an Audi Q3. Sure, the hype around Hero Xpulse 210 is real and it really is among the most-anticipated ADV motorcycles. However, this image used by Hero MotoCorp is probably not the correct motorcycle, while the real Xpulse could look a lot different.
Image in the new Hero Xpulse teaser matches this image from Hyperrider
    What to expect?
If it is the larger Xpulse 440 – This larger engine could deliver around 35-40 bhp and 35 Nm of torque, giving the bike much-needed grunt for high-speed cruising and off-road performance. The 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch will further enhance its touring credentials, allowing for smoother gear shifts and better control at higher speeds.
Hero is expected to load the Xpulse 440 with a host of features aimed at both off-road enthusiasts and long-distance riders. The Pro Kit, which was earlier seen on the Xpulse 200, may make its way to the Xpulse 440 as well, including fully adjustable long-travel suspension, off-road-spec tyres, and handlebar risers for improved ergonomics. Additional features could include a larger windscreen, improved aerodynamics with tank shrouds, and a rugged tank cage to protect the fuel tank during off-road adventures.
While the Xpulse 200 has been a capable entry-level adventure motorcycle, the new Xpulse 440 will likely cater to a wider audience looking for serious adventure touring and off-roading capabilities. With a larger fuel tank and enhanced cruising capabilities, the Xpulse 440 could emerge as a strong contender in the adventure motorcycle segment, appealing to riders who want a balance of performance, versatility, and affordability.
If it is the Xpulse 210, it will get the same 210 cc DOHC 4V liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine from Karizma XMR 210. This engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. Performance metrics might be around 26 bhp and 21 Nm. These updates will give Xpulse much-needed high-speed cruising capabilities, making it a more versatile product than it already is.
    A Strategic Move by Hero
Hero MotoCorp’s entry into the 400cc segment is likely a strategic move to capture a growing market of adventure motorcyclists in India and beyond. By offering a larger Xpulse model, Hero will compete with popular mid-capacity adventure bikes such as Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure. The global debut at EICMA 2024 ensures that the new Xpulse will grab international attention, further solidifying Hero’s position in the global ADV market. More

Creta EV, Carens EV Spied Together In Varanasi – To Share Parts, Powertrain ?

Creta EV, Carens EV Spied Together
With mass market products like Creta EV and Carens EV, Hyundai and Kia will be gearing up for the tough competition ahead
In the next few years, the EV segment will witness several new product launches from most of the leading brands. For the mainstream EV market, Hyundai and Kia will be placing their bets initially on Creta EV and Carens EV. These were recently spotted on road tests in Varanasi by automotive enthusiast Abhishek.
Kia Carens EV – What to expect?
Carens EV will be based on the ICE Carens facelift model that is expected to arrive in mid-2025. Spy shots reveal that Carens EV has new alloy wheels. Since it will be based on the ICE facelift model, some changes are expected across the front fascia. Much of the sheet metal will be common for both Carens EV and ICE Carens facelift. An earlier test vehicle was spotted with a new, more robust suspension setup. That will be necessary to bear the load of the battery pack.
    Kia Carens EV Spied
To expand its market reach, Carens EV is expected to be offered in both 6-seater and 7-seater options. Features on the inside will be borrowed mostly from the ICE model. The Carens facelift has a number of exterior and interior features similar to the EV5. Some key highlights include dual 10.25-inch screens, a 360° camera and a panoramic sunroof. Carens EV will be getting a comprehensive range of ADAS features.
Hyundai Creta EV – Key features
As evident from the test vehicle, Creta EV has the same silhouette as that of the ICE variant. However, some distinctive features are evident such as the new design for the alloy wheels. These are aerodynamic, low drag units that can boost performance and range. Changes are likely at the front as well. Creta EV will be getting a closed-off grille and exclusive badging to highlight its electric underpinnings.
    Hyundai Creta EV Spied
Earlier spy shots had revealed that Creta EV will be getting a new circular steering wheel with a 3-spoke design. One of the test vehicles was seen with distinctive ‘CRETA electric’ badging on the upholstery. To achieve a differentiation with the ICE mode, Creta EV is expected to get new interior theme options. Choices for the ambient lighting can also be more dynamic in comparison to the ICE model.
Equipment list for Creta EV will be largely the same as that of the ICE model. However, some new features are likely, especially the ones possible only with an electric car. This approach may also be aimed at motivating potential customers to make the switch to electric. Features borrowed from the ICE variant will include dual 10.25-inch screens, front ventilated seats and panoramic sunroof. Creta EV will have leather wrapped steering wheel, electric parking brake with auto hold, USB ports and wireless charger.
Hyundai Creta EV is expected to get a 45-kWh battery pack, linked to a 138 hp electric motor. Certified range could be around 450 km, whereas real-world range may be approximately 350 km. It is highly likely that the powertrain option could be common for Creta EV and Carens EV. More

Bajaj Pulsar N125 Launch Price Starts Rs 95K – First Ride Review

Bajaj Pulsar N125 First-Ride ReviewWith the launch of Pulsar N125, Bajaj has carved out a sportier product promising the highest power-to-weight ratio in its segment
Ever since the launch of Classic Pulsar 150, Bajaj has been a staple name among India’s motorcycling enthusiasts looking for an exciting, yet affordable motorcycle. Pulsar brand has been enjoying a cult following in India and is a preferred choice for many. In 125cc segment, Bajaj has added a new Pulsar, bridging more excitement to the masses than it did before.
Of course, we’re talking about the just launched Bajaj Pulsar N125 boasting an exciting new design along with best-in-segment performance credentials. But is it enough to take on the competition which includes TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R? Considering that 125cc Pulsars (Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS125) are Bajaj’s best-selling offerings, will new Pulsar N125 push the envelope further? Let’s take a look.
    [embedded content]
    Bajaj Pulsar N125 First-Ride Review
The company arranged a media drive for Pulsar N125 at Raftaar Gokarting Track in Pune, Maharashtra. Bajaj provided Rushlane with top-spec Pulsar N125 LED Disc BT Variant in Ebony Black Purple Fury shade for a short ride. This colourway looked a lot more appealing than the other two colourways – Ebony Black Cocktail Wine Red and Pewter Grey Citrus Rush. Base LED Disc variant is offered in Pearl Metallic White, Ebony Black, Cocktail Wine Red and Carribean Blue.
As the name suggests, LED Disc BT variant comes with a Bluetooth-equipped instrument console priced at Rs 98,707 (Ex-sh), while the base LED Disc is priced at Rs 94,707 (Ex-sh). Prices are in line with what rivals are offering, considering the equipment on board. Within Bajaj’s 125cc Pulsar lineup, Pulsar N125 is positioned above Classic Pulsar 125 and below Pulsar NS125.
    Pulsar N125 Prices
Where design is concerned, I think Bajaj has hit it out of the park this time around. Pulsar N125 gets a refreshing new design language which is edgy and has a lot of presence. It is sporty in appearance and is the sharpest-looking 125cc Pulsar Bajaj ever sold. With premium 125cc segment booming, Pulsar N125 fits right in and aims to carve out a niche for itself, setting it apart from TVS Raider and Hero Xtreme 125R.
    Bajaj Pulsar N125
    How does it look?
Before the launch, Pulsar N125 was speculated to be an ADV-type offering as test mules showed a few ADV-like elements. These have been carried over in the production model. For example, we have a long split seat, a pronounced grab rail for pillion, a headlight design shaped like it has a tiny faux beak and the segment-best 198 mm ground clearance. Despite being high off the ground, Pulsar N125 has an accessible seat height of 795 mm.
    Bajaj Pulsar N125 Design
Main draw for Pulsar N125 is that it has beefy suspension covers, lending a macho appeal. A chiseled fuel tank, muscular tank shrouds extending into its engine bay, angular body panels and striking dual-tone floating panels are other notable elements. Headlight assembly is a dual-pod element with vertically stacked chambers populated by LEDs. Rear has neatly laid out LED tail lights, which encompass Pulsar DNA. Beneath front fork covers, we have RSU telescopic forks, while rear gets a mono-shock setup. Keeping the bike compact is an underbelly exhaust.
Bajaj Pulsar N125 Front Fork Covers
17-inch alloy wheels remind me of Pulsar P150 (RIP). Switchgear has all the elements one would expect with a 125cc motorcycle. To control Bluetooth-equipped instrument cluster, there is a Mode button as well. Bajaj is offering a Type-A USB charging port on fuel tank. Right-side switchgear has a toggle for auto engine start/stop feature too. Only the front wheel gets disc brake and Bajaj is offering CBS, leaving Xtreme 125R as the only one in this segment to offer single-channel ABS.
    Bajaj Pulsar N125 Switchgear
    Ride, Handling and Performance
Bajaj arranged the media drive for Pulsar at Raftaar Gokarting Track in Pune, for a reason. This Go Karting track is perfect to test slow-speed manoeuvrability of Pulsar N125 along with its handling characteristics at a higher pace. Before that, we have to get engine’s performance metrics out of the way. So, a 124.58 cc engine generates 12 PS at 8,500 RPM and 11 Nm at 6,000 RPM, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
    Bajaj Pulsar N125 Engine
12 PS is segment best, but is the same as Pulsar NS125’s numbers. However, Pulsar NS125 weighs a hefty 144 kg, whereas Pulsar N125 weighs only 125 kg. Thus Pulsar N125 claims the highest power-to-weight ratio of 96 PS per tonne, which is again best-in-segment. In real-world conditions, these numbers do translate well and ensure peppy performance with enough vigour to thrill riders.
    Bajaj Pulsar N125 Seat
Acceleration is brisk where 125cc premium commuters are concerned and Pulsar N125 has a youthful character. 1,295 mm wheelbase is not the shortest in this segment, nor is it the longest, offering a right blend of straight-line stability and handling. In city traffic, Pulsar N125 was easy to flick around. This bike inspires confidence to be playful and have a thrilling commute. Bajaj claims around 97 km/h top speed, but the bike reached 110 km/h in our testing (speedo indicated).
    Bajaj Pulsar N125
Suspension is neutral as it offers a decent blend of great handling and bump absorption. 198 mm ground clearance ensured that we did not bottom out on bad patches of roads, which are frequent occurrences in Pune. Braking is par for this segment and offers a good bite to bring this machine to a halt. Weighing less definitely contributes to good braking feedback.
    Bajaj Pulsar N125 Instrument Console
    Conclusion
Concluding Bajaj Pulsar N125 is very easy. It is the lightest 125cc Pulsar sold by Bajaj and we think it is the sportiest to look at. With Pulsar N125, Bajaj is expanding its best-selling segment and is offering tough competition to TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R. It looks the part and offers highest ground clearance, which is unique in this segment.
    Bajaj Pulsar N125
However, Pulsar N125 is not perfect. Hero is offering single-channel ABS and LED turn indicators, which Bajaj could have offered as well. TVS Raider offers the best TFT instrument cluster in this segment with a plethora of features. In contrast, Bajaj Pulsar N125’s LCD cluster lacks basic features like a tachometer and gear position indicator. Bluetooth connectivity is also very limited in functionality as there is no navigation feature.
    Bajaj Pulsar N125 LED Headlight
There could have been a variant with drum brakes at the front, for an even more accessible base price. Also, the Automatic engine stop/start feature was not working on our unit during the testing. Which was a bummer. Instrument cluster showed a real-time fuel economy of around 31 km/l, which is not accurate considering that it is a new vehicle and will yield more mileage (fuel efficiency) with time. Claimed FE of the new N125 is around 60-65 kmpl. More

2025 KTM 390 ADV Cruiser Control Confirmed – New Spy Shots

2025 KTM 390 ADV With Cruise ControlWith fully adjustable suspension, 21-inch front wheel, knobby tyres and raised ground clearance, 2025 KTM 390 ADV promises a lot of fun
KTM is keen on updating its Adventure lineup based on both 250 and 390 platforms. However, being the flagship, 390 Adventure gets more features and equipment. The R version of this motorcycle was recently showcased at a rally in South Dakota, USA. This motorcycle showed cruise control for the first time.
    2025 KTM 390 ADV
One of India’s most popular ADVs, KTM 390 Adventure, is set to receive a major upgrade. There are two versions of this motorcycle as suggested by the different equipment shown by spy shots and official camo images.
    2025 KTM 390 Adventure
While the one spotted testing in India is the standard model geared more towards touring, a more off-road-friendly R version (R for Rally?) has been showcased recently in South Dakota, USA. Albeit draped in camouflage, this motorcycle showcased by KTM at a rally event seemed to have finalised equipment.
The R version gets off-road-friendly components like 21-inch front wheel, knobby tyres, fully adjustable suspension and more ground clearance. We also saw handlebar risers, round ORVMs and knuckle guards among others. While most of these elements will not make it to the standard model, there is one feature that will.
    2025 KTM 390 Adventure
We’re talking about cruise control feature seen with the recent spy shots of the showcased motorcycle in USA. The motorcycle gets ride-by-wire (electronic throttle) which enables the motorcycle to adjust and maintain speeds set by the cruise control system. This is a very handly feature to have while long-distance touring.
Reducing rider inputs for a relaxed experience is the purpose of this feature. It is controlled by the left switchgear. We can see a dedicated button to enable cruise control and a + button to increase the speed or reset it. We also hope there is cornering cruise control in the package as well.
    2025 KTM 390 Adventure
    What else does it get?
The 2025 KTM 390 ADV comes with a major redesign, taking its edgy design language to a whole new level. We have a vertically stacked headlight setup along with a tall windscreen. The semi-fairing is sharp and there is a long beak for that quintessential ADV look. Final details will be revealed at 2024 EICMA Show, where it will be fully revealed.
    2025 KTM 390 Adventure
It will be powered by the same 399 cc DOHC 4V liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine capable of generating around 45 bhp and 40 Nm. A host of electronics are expected with this motorcycle. Also, advanced instrumentation via a 5-inch TFT unit with Bluetooth connectivity suite is also standard.

New Royal Enfield Classic 650 Rendered – 9 Colours Based On Recent Spy Shots

New Royal Enfield Classic 650 RenderWhen launched, Royal Enfield Classic 650 has the potential to surpass the sales of other 650cc motorcycles in company’s portfolio
One of the world’s leading classic motorcycle manufacturers, Royal Enfield, has been aggressively expanding its lineup. Within the 650cc portfolio, we have multiple new vehicles under development including Himalayan 650, Interceptor Bear 650 and Classic 650. Ahead of launch, here are some of the realistic renders of upcoming Classic 650, created by Pratyush Rout.
    Royal Enfield Classic 650 Rendered
Rushlane’s render of Royal Enfield Classic 650 is based on the recent spy shots showing test mules with unique dual-tone colourways. Because these test mules were completely undisguised, we could see what Royal Enfield has been up to, where colour schemes are concerned.
    New Royal Enfield Classic 650
These renders perfectly capture the essence of what Royal Enfield is trying to offer with their upcoming Classic 650. For starters, the test mules spotted were single-seater versions and that’s what these renders depict as well. There will be an option for pillion seat version when launched in India and abroad.
Overall design is similar to Classic 350, but there are a few changes. For starters, Classic 650 will come with twin exhausts, which are of pea-shooter design. Because these exhausts have to follow the shape of the large engine casing, they are not exactly straight, which lends a unique design.
New Royal Enfield Classic 650 Render
Tear-drop design for fuel tank ties it with Classic’s look and some variants get dual-tone colourways too. On the tank is also the new logo, which RE had trademarked earlier this year. The 2024 Classic 350 has two side body elements, while Classic 650 has one. The bike’s steering setup looks more or less the same, with similar headlight and front suspension setup. A Tripper screen might be offered, but not Tripper Dash.
Rear tail lights are similar to the ones seen on 2024 Classic 350 as well. Round ORVMs finished in chrome are also notable. The main highlight is the colourways Royal Enfield is going for. These renders borrow a few single-tone and dual-tone colourways from 2024 Classic 350 and look striking on Classic 650.

    Specs and Launch
Classic 650 will be powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin oil-cooled engine that is capable of generating around 47 bhp of peak power and 52 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. LED lighting all around, single disc brake setup at either ends, RSU telescopic front forks.
Classic 650 has been under development for a very long time and has been spied on multiple occasions. With Classic 650, the company is trying to cater to a majority of buyers across the world who might be looking to upgrade from their Classic 650. Conversely speaking, it could be one’s first big bike with retro design.

Either way, Royal Enfield Classic 650 has immense sales potential and might easily outperform Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650 sales. Where pricing is concerned, it is likely to be positioned above the 650 Twins (Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650) and below Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650. More
