New 125cc Bajaj Pulsar Spied Testing – More Details Revealed, Compared

New 125cc Bajaj PulsarAs per the new spy shots, Bajaj could be developing a new Pulsar line to carve out a much sportier version of its 125cc portfolioBajaj Auto has been working on a new 125cc Pulsar. There have been many test mule sighting instances in India and the new spy shots reveal more details about the bike. Looking at these test mules begs the question of which Pulsar subcategory it belongs to or if a new Pulsar line is under development.New 125cc Bajaj Pulsar SpiedThere is an increasing demand for feature-loaded 125cc motorcycles that fulfils fuel-efficiency demands but also offer a premium quotient. TVS is a step ahead in this regard and Hero has done a commendable job with their Xtreme 125R. However, Bajaj lacks the newness factor, something both rivals are offering.New 125cc Bajaj Pulsar Vs Pulsar P designCurrently, 125cc Pulsars (Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS 125) are the company’s best-selling lineup and we might soon witness a third offering. Contrary to popular belief, this is less likely to be a N125 (N150 with a 125cc engine). Instead, Bajaj is likely to be spawning a whole new sub-brand or sub-lineup under its Pulsar umbrella.Recent test mules spotted show motorcycle’s side profile and we can see that it gets unique attributes of its own, while still retaining Pulsar DNA. When compared to Pulsar P range, Pulsar N range and Pulsar NS range, this upcoming 125cc Pulsar looks quite unique and looks like a more modern 125cc Bajaj Pulsar.New 125cc Bajaj Pulsar Vs Pulsar N designUnique design compared to existing PulsarsWe compared it with Pulsar P design, Pulsar N design and Pulsar NS design to see just how unique it is. Sure, there are a few parts sharing with other Pulsars. For example, the new Pulsar gets same wheels as Pulsar P150 (R.I.P.) and braking hardware. So, no petal rotors. Even the fuel tank and tank shrouds look similar to Pulsar P150.Rear tail lights and indicators along with rear tyre hugger look similar to Pulsar NS125. That said, there are many unique attributes with this new 125cc Bajaj Pulsar like flatter split seats, new tail section, new side body panels, new front mudguard, new RSU telescopic front forks with round reflector and beefy-looking suspension shrouds (covers) like a street fighter.New 125cc Bajaj Pulsar Vs Pulsar NS designExhaust setup looks almost identical to Pulsar N style bikes, but engine looks like it is gifted straight from Pulsar 125 (no prefix). Looking at the beefy suspension shrouds and single-piece handlebar, we reckon Bajaj is carving out a new street naked machine that will directly take on premium 125cc bikes.A fitting answer to Raider 125 and Xtreme 125R, if you may. Thinking in this regard, this upcoming Pulsar might get a more modern digital instrument cluster that packs many modern features. Considering 125cc Pulsars are Bajaj’s best-sellers, it makes a lot of sense for the company to expand their 125cc portfolio to incorporate a much more modern and advanced bike. What could be the name, though? Pulsar NS125Z? Pulsar N125Z?New Bajaj 125cc Motorcycle SpiedAlso read – Bajaj CNG bike launch date revealedSource More

Built to take on rough stuff, Himalayan 450 is among the best single-cylinder ADVs on the market. Spanish rider Salvatore Di Benedetto took a modified Himalayan 450 and completed Swank Rally De Sardegna held in Italy.Modified Royal Enfield Himalayan 450Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has been making quite a few headlines in the recent past, albeit, not for good reasons. Himalayan 450 has been witnessing chassis-related failures when after-market accessories were installed. Crash guards, in particular. However, company promises a seamless experience when genuine RE accessories are used.Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 – Salvatore Di BenedettoRight around these circumstances, renowned ADV rider, Salvatore Di Benedetto, participated in the popular Swank Rally De Sardegna and used a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 to complete it. Except for a few attributes here and there.Sure, we can see an aftermarket exhaust and this could mean an engine tune to extract slightly more performance and free flow of intake and exhaust. Maybe the main ECU is tuned or a piggyback ECU is in action. The main mod that will boost performance in rally scenes is the off-road knobby tyres seen on this bike.Himalayan 450 RallyFront fender of this motorcycle has been removed and so has the rear tail section, turn indicators and ORVMs. Stock split seat setup has been replaced with a rally-spec seat that looks a lot like the seat from Royal Enfield’s GMA (Genuine Motorcycle Accessories). Next-Gen Hero Destini Scooter Leaked – 125cc Activa, Jupiter, Access, Fascino Rival

Next-Gen Hero Destini Scooter Vs Current ModelWhile current model on sale is a contemporary family scooter, next-gen Hero Destini 125 seems to be going for a retro scooter appealHero MotoCorp, world’s largest 2W manufacturer in volumes, is taking greater strides in scooter segment. Primarily known for its budget commuter lineup, Hero is gearing up to launch more scooters to consolidate its position. One among those upcoming scooters is the next-gen Hero Destini and the production-spec version has been leaked showing the entire vehicle.Next-Gen Hero Destini – Next big thing in 125cc scooter segment? The 125cc scooter segment generates less sales and interest than 100cc to 110cc scooters. But the magnitude of this landscape is changing and 125cc scooters are gaining more prominence. Capitalizing on this growth are OEMs like TVS, Honda, Suzuki and Hero MotoCorp.Recently, Next-Gen Hero Destini 125 scooter has been leaked ahead of launch. Interestingly, there has not been a single spy shot or this upcoming scooter and Hero has played its cards close to the chest. Regardless, we get to see the full scooter in production guise now and without any camouflage. One can also see most of the exterior features and attributes as there is no camouflage. When compared to current Destini 125, the upcoming model almost looks like it has taken a Classic and Retro scooter vibe. We say this because current Destini 125 looked like any other contemporary family scooter.Current Hero Destini 125 XTECNow, it has been transformed into a stylish and retro-looking offering that should take on the likes of Yamaha Fascino and Vespa scooters. We can see an all-new apron with sleeker turn indicators and contrasting trims. The chunky chrome has been done away with and the headlight is now in a triangular housing.Upgrade in componentsPlastic panels behind the apron are painted that continues on the floorboard and side panels have been transformed to look like a retro scooter. Seat looks more contoured than before and pillion backrest looks the same, while grab rail is painted black. Exhaust heat shield is new and so are the swankier alloy wheels. For the first time, Destini 125 is getting a front disc brake option. We can expect other attributes like an external fuel filler cap, USB charging socket, XTEC connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and others. Powertrains-wise, it is likely to retain the same 124.6cc single-cylinder engine with 9 bhp and 10.4 Nm with i3S stop/start feature. We hope Hero is offering 12-inch alloy wheels like a Xoom 110, instead of 10-inchers. There might be a slight bump in pricing and the new model is likely to expand Hero’s presence in India’s 125cc scooter realm. Rivals include Honda Activa 125, Yamaha Fascino 125, TVS Jupiter 125 and upcoming Suzuki Access 125 facelift.Source More
