In April 2025, Honda had type-approved the E-VO electric motorcycle (WH8000D) in China. The E-VO has now been launched under the Wuyang-Honda brand name. This label is used as part of the joint venture between Honda and Guangzhou Motors Group Company in China. Let’s check out the details of Honda E-VO electric motorcycle.
Honda E-VO – Styling and features
With its distinctive cafe-racer styling presented in a futuristic format, Honda E-VO easily gets one’s attention. Some of the key highlights include a circular headlamp, curved windshield, bar-end mirrors, a single piece seat and fully enclosed side panelling. The bike is using 16-inch front and 14-inch rear alloy wheels, wrapped in semi-slick tyres. With a seat height of just 765 mm, users can expect excellent control and handling.
    Honda E-VO Electric Bike
Honda E-VO is using a forged all-aluminium chassis, which makes the bike both sturdy and lightweight. Aluminium metal also makes the bikes resistant to corrosion and other harsh environments. Tech kit includes a 7-inch TFT main screen, along with a TFT sub-screen for accessing navigation, music and other information such as tyre pressure and battery charge status.
The base variant gets a front dash cam, whereas the top variant gets both front and rear dash cam. These can capture your journeys and moments in 1080P resolution. Other key highlights include inverted front forks, traction control system, Type-A and Type-C charging ports, dual-channel ABS, side stand motor cut off and 5-step adjustable brake handle.
    Honda E-VO Electric Bike
Honda E-VO – Performance, battery, range, specs

Honda CD 110 Discontinued – Splendor Rival Removed from Official Website

Honda CD 110 Dream DeluxeBefore Shine 100 was launched, the CD 110 was the most affordable Honda commuter bike in India
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) recently updated its website in a new format. While everything looks great, the CD 110 is no longer listed. It is likely that the bike has been discontinued due to low sales. It was one of the most affordable offerings into Honda’s motorcycle portfolio. Let’s check out the details.
    Why Honda CD 110 discontinued?
At the time of its launch in 2014, CD 110 was offered at a starting price of Rs 42,000. Being one of the most affordable, it emerged as a popular choice in the entry-level commuter segment. Honda CD 110 continued to deliver consistent results over the years. However, things started to change when Honda Shine 100 was launched in March 2023.
Honda Shine 100 was competitively priced, around Rs 8k cheaper than the CD 110. With no major difference in the equipment list and only a slight difference in performance, consumer preferences started to shift in favour of the more affordable Shine 100. However, there are areas where CD 110 had a lead over Shine 100. For example, CD 110 was offered with tubeless tyres in comparison to tube type tyres used with Shine 100.
Similarly, CD 110 had a claimed mileage of 74 km/l in comparison to around 65 km/l of Shine 100. However, due to the price difference between the two bikes, it appears that these positive aspects of CD 110 were set aside. Shine 100 has been receiving good reviews from users, which has also contributed to its sales.
    2020 Honda CD 110 Dream BS6
As sales of Shine 100 climbed higher, an opposite effect was noted with CD 110. In February 2025, SIAM data revealed that only a single unit of CD 110 was sold. Sales in March 2025 were only slightly better at 33 units. In the next month, Honda CD 110 sales dropped to zero. This could have been the trigger for the bike’s discontinuation. However, Honda has not made any official announcement regarding the same. It is also not known if Honda CD 110 will be replaced with another product.
    Alternative options for customers
While Honda CD 110 was a good choice in the commuter segment, there are quite a few alternatives available in the market. Honda Shine 100 has already proven to be a good alternative, although it does not have tubeless tyres. Among other brands, Hero MotoCorp has the biggest portfolio of entry-level commuter bikes. However, Hero currently does not offer a 110cc motorcycle.
Honda CD 110 last known price was Rs 76,401. In this price range, one can consider Hero motorcycles such as Splendor Plus, Passion+ and HF Deluxe. In this segment, Bajaj has options such as Platina 110 and CT 110X. Options from TVS Motor include the Star City Plus and TVS Sport.
As is evident, quite a few alternatives for Honda CD 110 are available in the market. In its last known configuration, Honda CD 110 was equipped with a 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It generates 8.79 PS and 9.30 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. With advanced technologies such as Enhanced Smart Power (eSP), the bike was able to deliver a smooth performance and higher mileage. More

The teaser, released via Honda India’s BigWing social handles, hints that the premium X-ADV could be launched in the coming days—marking a big leap forward for Honda’s premium strategy in India.
Honda X-ADV 750 – The Global ADV Scooter, Coming to India
This move is likely to bring much-needed relief and excitement to Honda fans in India, many of whom have long expressed frustration over the lack of high-end offerings in the country. With two premium launches in just two days, it looks like HMSI is finally delivering on its promise to bring more global models to Indian shores.
    [embedded content]
Globally, the Honda X-ADV 750 is one of the most unique offerings in the maxi-scooter segment. It blends adventure touring capability with everyday practicality and the comfort of a scooter. The model teased for India appears to be the same latest-generation version that was introduced internationally, which comes equipped with updated features and new colour options.
The X-ADV 750 is powered by a 745cc parallel-twin engine that produces 58 bhp and 69 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 6-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), making it a rare breed of scooters in the country. The robust underpinnings include 17-inch front and 15-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, dual disc brakes up front, and long-travel suspension—all engineered for mild off-road and touring capabilities.
    X-ADV Scooter
Key features include LED lighting, an adjustable windscreen, a large digital display, and multiple riding modes. Internationally, it’s also offered with various accessory packs like Adventure, Comfort, and Urban, although it remains to be seen how Honda will package it for the Indian market.
Honda X-ADV Scooter India Launch in 2025
    Honda India’s Premium Push
Until now, Honda has primarily dominated the commuter scooter market in India with models like the Activa, Dio and recently launched Activa Electric. However, with rising demand for premium and lifestyle two-wheelers, the company appears to be shifting gears. The back-to-back reveal of the Rebel 500 and the X-ADV teaser shows that Honda is finally serious about tapping into India’s premium segment through its BigWing network.
It’s worth noting that the X-ADV 750 has been spotted on Indian roads previously, in full road-legal guise, registered in Arunachal Pradesh. At the time, it was believed to be a privately imported unit. But with this official teaser, a full-scale launch in India now looks imminent.
Honda India has not yet confirmed the price or launch date of the X-ADV 750, but more details are expected in the coming days. Given its premium positioning, the scooter will be sold via Honda BigWing Topline dealerships in select cities, similar to the Rebel 500. Honda Rebel 500 Vs Royal Enfield SM 650 Vs Kawasaki Vulcan S – Compared

Honda Rebel 500 Vs Rivals – Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and Kawasaki Vulcan SIn a fight for the large displacement classic and retro motorcycle segment, Royal Enfield has its popular 650cc offerings. There have been more challengers now than ever before and the latest one is Honda Rebel 500, which directly takes on Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and Kawasaki Vulcas S. We compared specs and features of these motorcycles to see which is a better package on paper.
Honda Rebel 500 Vs Rivals – Specs
We have to start with pricing because Royal Enfield has achieved excellent prices and it is the most affordable, starting from Rs 3.68 lakh and goes till Rs 3.98 lakh (Ex-sh). At the other end of this price ladder, we have Kawasaki Vulcan S priced at Rs 7.10 lakh (Ex-sh). Just launched Honda Rebel 500 is positioned bang in the middle at Rs 5.12 lakh (Ex-sh).
All three bikes get a parallel-twin engine and only Super Meteor is an inferior oil-cooled SOHC 2V build. One look at this spec sheet is enough to understand that Honda Rebel 500 has the smallest engine at 471cc. However, it makes up for it with its light-weight build, weighing at just 191 kg, while Super Meteor 650 weighs 241 kg and Vulcan S is bang in the middle at 229 kg.
That said, the most performant offering in this trio is Kawasaki Vulcan S as it packs the highest numbers. However, it is the only one in this trio to lack a slipper clutch. Vulcan S also packs the longest wheelbase, Super Meteor 650 has highest ground clearance and Rebel 500 has lowest seat height.
Honda Rebel 500 Vs Rivals – Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and Kawasaki Vulcan S
Rebel 500 has the smallest fuel tank at 11.2L and it is Super Meteor 650 that has the largest at 15.7L. All three motorcycles offer different wheel size combinations at the front and rear. Rebel 500 has the widest front tyre and Vulcan S offers the widest rear tyre. Super Meteor 650 offers largest disc brakes, which could probably be because it is the heaviest bike in this trio.
    Rebel 500 is the lightest!
All three motorcycles get dual-channel ABS and there are no riding modes, quick shifter or any other fancy gizmos. Only the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 gets USD telescopic front forks, while other two resort to RSU telescopic units. Interestingly, only the Vulcan S gets a rear mono-shock, which is also a single-sided type. Other two get twin shockers which are common with cruisers.
Honda Rebel 500 is the only one to offer full LED lighting all around. Super Meteor 650 lacks LED indicators and Vulcan S lacks LED indicators and LED headlights. All three motorcycles get a semi-digital instrument cluster, but only the Royal Enfield offers Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation with its Tripper TFT screen. More
