New Hero Vida VX2 EV TeaserHero MotoCorp has been on the verge of launching a new electric scooter in India under their Vida brand. It will be called Vida VX2 and it is the production version of Vida Z showcased at 2025 Auto Expo. Owing to its lower-tier equipment, it will be positioned below Vida V2 lineup in the company’s electric scooter portfolio.
This is the teaser from Hero that shows Vida VX2’s front design, which looks more or less the same as Vida Z. Also, this teaser features Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, recreating some of the dialogues and emotions from the movie Animal. Let’s take a closer look.

    Hero Vida VX2 EV Teaser
Vida electric scooter brand by Hero MotoCorp is on the verge of a strategic expansion. The direction of expansion is rather interesting as it seems to be headed the route of affordable electric scooter market where Ola S1X is partying currently. Crashing this party will be Vida VX2, whose design is teased for the first time.
Latest teaser features Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in similar roles we saw in the movie Animal by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. While this movie is nothing to write home about, the iconic ‘Sunayi de raha hai. Behra nahi hu me” dialogue has become quite a sensation in B Town, which is recreated in this teaser with Anil Kapoor as father and Ranbir Kapoor as his son.
    Hero Vida Z
This teaser revolves around the concept of generational gap along with associated interests and shifting buyer trends. We can see Ranbir Kapoor suggesting to buy an EV showing upcoming Vida VX2 on his smartphone in a Blue shade, but Anil Kapoor’s interests nest with ICE scooters.
In this teaser, we can see a glimpse of upcoming Vida VX2’s front design in a Blue shade, which is completely uncamouflaged. This is the same design that we saw on Vida Z at 2025 Auto Expo and units of Vida VX2 that have arrived at dealerships also show similar design, but in a lovely Yellow shade.

    What to expect?
Just like Vida V2 lineup, we can expect Vida VX2 to be launched in Lite, Plus and Pro trim levels with varying battery capacity, while features remain the same. Speaking of features, Vida VX2 is a step-down from Vida V2 lineup as they get a conventional key hole and a non-touch instrument cluster with physical controls on switchgear to operate it.
In contrast, Vida V2 gets keyless go as standard along with a 7-inch touchscreen. Hero will launch Vida VX2 next month on July 1st. Hero Vida Z Spied Undisguised Ahead Of Launch

Hero Vida Z SpiedAt the 2024 EICMA Show, Hero MotorCorp made quite a spectacle by showcasing four new motorcycles. These were Hero Xtreme 250R, Xpulse 210, Xoom 160 and Vida Z global electric scooter. The company seems to have commenced testing of the Vida Z ahead of a proper launch. It has been spied for the first time. Let’s take a closer look.
    Hero Vida Z Spied Testing
India’s largest 2W manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, currently operates the V2 lineup of electric scooters under Vida brand. At 2024 EICMA Show, Hero showcased a handsome new electric scooter with global launch intentions. Called Vida Z, it is a sporty yet elegant electric mobility solution that packs a slightly different ethos than V2 lineup of electric scooters.
    Hero Vida Z
Currently, we get Vida V2 in three different variants – Vida V2 Lite, Vida V2 Plus and Vida V2 Pro. The effective Ex-sh prices of these variants are Rs 74,000, Rs 81,800 and Rs 1,15,300 respectively. Hero has not yet revealed launch timeline along with product positioning among their current crop of V2 electric scooters.
The recent spy shots show Vida Z without any camouflage in a lovely Yellow shade. When compared to the Vida Z scooter showcased at 2024 EICMA and 2025 Auto Expo, we can see that this test mule misses out on a couple of elements. For starters, the contrasting Orange accents are missing and so is its pillion backrest.
    Hero Vida Z Spied
Where design is concerned, Vida V2 takes aggression and sportiness a couple of notches above. In contrast, Vida Z takes a much more sober and elegant approach. At the unveiling, Vida by Hero MotoCorp had unveiled that this new electric scooter will be a global product and will be launched in major global markets like UK.
    What to expect?
LED projector headlights seem to be shared with Vida Z, but front apron is completely new and is devoid of any cuts and creases. Handlebar cowl and front mud guard gets dual tone effect of body colour and Black. LED tail lights, LED turn indicators, single-piece seat along with a touchscreen instrument cluster are notable elements.
    Hero Vida Z Spied
Apart from the few aforementioned differences, Vida Z test mule is almost identical to what the company showcased before. Looking at how close it appears to production, one can speculate that the launch might be around the corner. Vida Z is built on a modular platform that can accept battery packs between 2.2 kWh to 4.4 kWh.
These will be removable batteries that one can charge at their home or apartments. It will have a powerful electric motor that is either swingarm mounted or mid-mounted. We can expect decent range, features and storage provisions. Connectivity features will be abundant too and users will get to monitor various stats.

Hero Vida Electric ADV Design Patented – Launch Soon Under Acro Brand?

Hero Vida Electric ADV Design PatentedAfter launching Vida V2 electric scooter range, Hero MotoCorp is excited to launch more EVs. As seen with recent developments, Vida brand can see a major portfolio expansion including electric off-road bikes for adults and kids. One of them has been patented in India, indicating a launch soon. Let’s take a look.
    Hero Vida Electric ADV
Vida electric scooter sub-brand from motorcycle giant Hero MotoCorp is yet to make a significant dent in electric scooter space. The company has surpassed most of its startup rivals and often features among the top five best-selling electric scooters in India. However, there can be more sales and they don’t have to be just electric scooters.
Hero Vida Acro Concept Left, Lynx Concept Right
Hero MotoCorp seems to be launching an electric off-road motorcycle in 2025. An electric dirt bike, if you may. If you recall, Hero MotoCorp showcased two electric ADV motorcycle concepts at EICMA 2023. Called Lynx and Acro, these electric off-road motorcycles grabbed a lot of eyeballs.
Lynx concept was an electric dirt bike for adults, while Acro concept was an electric learner dirt bike for kids. Looking at the design patent filed by Hero MotoCorp in India, it looks a lot like a production version of Acro concept. The main reason that points towards it being an Acro and not Lynx, is the lack of traditional motorcycle braking equipment at the front.
Hero Vida Electric ADV Design Patented
Yes, the design trademarked in India does not have conventional disc brakes at the front, like the ones seen on Lynx concept. That’s because it is likely to get the exposed shoe-type braking system we see in bicycles, similar to the setup showcased with Acro concept. It will be dedicated to kids as a learner bike.
    Will it be road legal?
Where dimensions are concerned, it will be substantially small, even when compared to the smallest of motorcycles for adults. We can see a raised handlebar, centre-set foot pegs and a flat seat for an upright seating position. Front suspension looks like they are height-adjustable USD telescopic units with beefy fork covers and a rear mono-shock. Allowing users to adjust this motorcycle’s ergos to suit them perfectly.
    Hero Vida Acro Adjustable Height
We can see a removable electric battery across the spine of this machine and a mid-mounted electric motor. This electric motor drives rear wheel with what looks like a belt drive. Knobby tyres make this motorcycle look like it is off-road-ready. We also don’t see a speedo on this motorcycle. Instead, we can see a Vida branding where instrument cluster should have been.
Where performance is concerned, this Hero Vida electric ADV based on Acro concept might be packing quite a punch, enough to kick the tail out on corners and get to speeds to achieve jumps. There is a possibility that it might not be road-legal and only a tool to be used on off-road tracks or trails for future champions to learn and build skills on. More
