2022 Hero Xtreme 160R Launch Price Rs 1.17 L – Pulsar, Apache Rival

2022 Hero Xtreme 160R will remain identical to its predecessor mechanically and gets subtle additions only2022 Hero Xtreme 160R LaunchedHero MotoCorp has been at the top of the sales charts now for a really long time. As seen in our sales charts, Hero sold 3,83,165 units in June 2022, but it saw a decline of 7.76% YoY when compared to June 2021 with a difference of 32,320 units in total. Most of Hero MotoCorp sales come from budget offerings led by Splendor and the likes. But when it comes to premium offerings like Xtreme 160R and XPulse series, they don’t generate as many sales. But 160 cc segment is currently heating up again with the launch of Bajaj Pulsar N160 and it gets most of the good stuff from Pulsar N250. We also have the TVS Apache 160 4V which is currently the benchmark.Hero had launched its Xtreme 160R in this segment hoping to capture some of the market shares. But with the launch of Pulsar N160, Hero had to do something to keep its 160 cc offering competitive and hence they have given it a slight update for 2022 model year.2022 Hero Xtreme 160R LaunchedFor 2022 model year, Hero has slightly updated its potent Xtreme 160R. The upgrade is in the form of a gear position indicator on the LCD instrument cluster. Xtreme 160R gets a negative LCD panel displaying information like speedometer, tachometer, dual trip meter, clock and some more features. Take a look at the detailed walkaround video below, credit to MRD Vlogs.[embedded content][embedded content]Customers could also opt for Hero Connect which offers a range of connectivity features enhancing vehicle safety and user safety for Rs 4,999. Xtreme 160R also came with hazard lights, auto sail technology, and side stand engine cut-off. It lacked a gear-position indicator and now, Hero has added just that.Xtreme 160R has a muscular profile and gets an LED headlamp, LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, a sculpted fuel tank, a stubby tail section and a unique LED tail lamp that gets a blacked-out finish. The engine assembly, frame, exhaust pipe, and alloy wheels get a blacked-out look for added sportiness. 2022 Hero Xtreme 160R prices start from Rs. 1.17 lakh for single disc, Rs 1.20 lakh for double disc and goes to Rs. 1.23 lakh for 2022 Stealth Edition. All prices are ex-sh.2022 Hero Xtreme 160R Vs Bajaj Pulsar N160 Vs TVS Apache 160Xtreme 160R was a potent product and specced well against competition. But it doesn’t make as much power as a Pulsar N160 with 15.68 bhp and it definitely can’t match the outright 17.39 bhp of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. It does make a little more power when compared to Honda X-Blade’s 13.67 bhp, though. But Xtreme 160R has a trump card and that is its 139 kg weight which is the lightest in this segment.2022 Hero Xtreme 160R vs Bajaj Pulsar N160 vs TVS Apache 1602022 Hero Xtreme 160R is powered by the same 163 cc, single-cylinder engine with an SOHC setup. It is capable of generating 15 bhp at 8500 RPM and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. It weighs 138.5 kg with a single disc and can carry 12 litres of fuel. With this update, Hero has given some more value to their customers and expects to increase sales with this new addition. Hero has also announced some new colours too. More

Hero Splendor 125cc New Black Colour Launch – First Look Walkaround

Super Splendor is the result of Hero’s effort of expanding the popular Splendor brand to offer with 125cc engine2022 Hero Splendor 125cc Matte Black LaunchedHero MotoCorp is currently the highest-selling motorcycle brand in India. Driving the sales for Hero is the ever-popular Splendor series of commuter motorcycles. Splendor brand is a force to reckon with as sales continue to ramp up almost every month. To incorporate a 125 cc engine with its popular Splendor range, Hero created the Super Splendor 125.This formula has boosted Splendor series sales even further as seen in our top 10 motorcycles post. Super Splendor only gets a 125 cc engine while Splendor Plus only gets a 100 cc engine and Splendor iSmart 110 gets only a 110 cc engine establishing a clear distinction between the three. But now the flagship of Splendor series has gotten a new variant.Hero Splendor 125cc New Black ColourThe largest motorcycle company in India, recently took to social media to announce a new variant of Super Splendor 125. According to the teaser, it would be “All Black”. That is exactly what Hero MotoCorp has delivered. All Black variants seem to be inspired by Canvas Black colour shade offered with Splendor Plus.Till now, Super Splendor was offered in five different colour shades. They were Glaze Black, Dusky Black, Nexus Blue, Heavy Grey, and CB Red. But both the black shades offered before were not monotone black. They had accent colours and a lot of graphics. As we know, Hero leans too much on graphics to spruce up their products. But always end up overdoing it.2022 Hero Splendor 125cc Black Colour LaunchedBut Splendor Plus gets Canvas Black shade that is devoid of any graphics and looks super clean. Looking at Hero Splendor 125cc New Black, Hero seems to have taken the same route too. This new All Black shade also looks super clean without any graphics. The only thing that breaks its black monotone is Super Splendor 3D badge on the fuel tank and Hero badge on the side body panels. This new All Black variant is offered in two different finishes. One is a regular Gloss Black finish and the other is a super stealth Matt Black finish that adds a lot of elegance to the Super Splendor. If it was our money, we’d definitely bet on the Matt Black option. Take a look at the walkaround video below, credited to R Rohit.[embedded content][embedded content]Specs & LaunchHero Super Splendor is powered by a 125cc BS6 compliant engine with XSens Technology. This engine develops 10.73 BHP of power at 7500 RPM and torque of 10.6 Nm @ 6000 RPM. This engine is paired with a 5-Speed Gearbox unlike a 4-speed unit on other Splendor branded bikes. This gearbox is said to be optimised for both city and highway riding.i3S tech makes sure that the daily commutes are eco-friendly and wallet-friendly too by enabling engine start/stop feature. Hero also allows users to turn off i3S if they find it obtrusive. Super Splendor chassis is a diamond frame with 180mm ground clearance and offers a long seat. New Hero Scooter Spied For First Time – NTorq, RayZR 125cc Rival?

New Hero scooter is likely to be powered by the same 124.6cc engine found on Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 125 with i3S techNew Hero 125cc Scooter SpiedHero MotoCorp is currently the highest-selling two-wheeler brand in India. Hero Splendor is the highest-selling motorcycle in India as seen in our top 10 motorcycle list for the month of June 2022. Splendor alone sells more than second and third highest selling motorcycles combined and is expected to stay that way for a long time. But in the scooter market of India, Hero has not had such a grand monopoly. Because that cake is still in Honda’s kitchen where the Activa is brewed. If we look at top 10 scooter list for the month of June 2022, Activa alone sells more than second highest to ninth highest selling vehicles combined. This says a lot about the scooter market in India.New Hero 125cc Scooter – Sporty DesignHero has scooters in its portfolio that rival Honda Activa series. At the lower end of the spectrum, Hero has Pleasure which is a 110cc scooter and at the top tier, it has Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 125. But as sales figures indicate, both 125cc scooters from Hero are not in top 10.It is not that Hero’s 125cc engine doesn’t have any sauce: It does. It makes 9 bhp of power and 10.4 Nm of torque. This engine is also mated to Hero’s proprietary i3S technology which enables a stop/start feature improving fuel efficiency. It is the style, form factor and character that both the Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 125 lacked. That’s where the new sporty scooter comes into play.New Hero 125cc Scooter SpiedThanks to Shifting-Gears, a new Hero scooter has been spied under testing with heavy camouflage. This new scooter dons a much more sporty and edgy design than the current scooters on sale by Hero. It gets an LED headlight set up on the front fascia like NTorq, RayZR and Avenis instead of on the handlebar like Activa, Jupiter and Access. This gives it a sporty appeal and enhances looks further, is an interesting LED DRL pattern. It is likely to be powered by 125cc engine.New Hero Scooter – Features & LaunchIt also gets storage compartments below the instrument console like other Hero scooters and will also get USB phone charging too. This upcoming scooter gets a switchable i3S button on the right switch gear. At the rear, it gets an ‘X’ shaped LED tail-light and normal halogen turn indicators.Hero should have given a smoked effect to the tail-light cover as they did with Xtreme 160R making it look sportier. A glaring omission on this scooter according to us, is an external fuel filler cap which would drastically aid user comfort while refueling.New Hero 125cc Scooter SpiedSuspension setup is a normal telescopic unit at front and twin shockers at the rear. Hero 125cc sporty scooter might get 12” wheels that are machine cut alloys in this top-spec trim along with a front disc brake too. We can expect steel wheels and drum brakes with lower variants. We also expect Hero to give the XTec system on this scooter too. The instrumentation screen is new which is a rectangular fully-digital LCD panel with expected features like trip meters, odometer, clock, fuel-level indicator and Bluetooth connectivity with notifications and turn-by-turn navigation.Hero MotoCorp has not revealed any details about this upcoming scooter yet. But it could be launched around the festive season and is likely to be priced on par with Maestro Edge. When launched, this sporty 125cc scooter will compete with other sporty scooters like TVS NTorq, Honda Grazia, Suzuki Avenis, and Yamaha RayZR. Of these, Ntorq, Avenis, RayZR regularly feature in the top 10 selling scooter list. Hero would be aiming to eat into their share with this new 125cc scooter.Source More

Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Kit Launch Price Rs 46k – Specs Detailed

Hero MotoCorp has launched Rally Edition with factory fitted Rally Kit on Xuplse 200 4V2022 Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition LaunchedAfter the Impulse, Hero returned to the genre with XPulse 200 which was a sequel to the company’s adventure-tourer saga. It was designed as an off-roader first and then given some touring capabilities. Hence, it was not a fast cruiser. This was worked on in the BS6 model and bettered even further with the launch of XPulse 200 4V.Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the Rally Edition at an event recently. In the past, Hero tried to give a taste of a proper rally bike on its XPulse adventure tourer in the form of a Rally Kit for Rs. 38,000. It had fully-adjustable front and rear suspension with longer travel, 5mm more ground clearance, hence a longer stand, handle-bar risers, rally-spec seat and rally-spec Maxxis knobby tyres.2022 Hero XPulse Rally EditionFront suspension had 30-click compression settings and 30-click rebound settings. The front suspension can now travel up to 250mm which is 60mm more than stock. The rear suspension gets adjustability in terms of rebound and preload and can travel 220mm which is 50mm more than stock. For reference, its closest rival Royal Enfield Himalayan gets 200mm suspension travel at front and 180mm at the rear. The new Rally kit, however, adds preload adjustability with cartridge-style forks at front and takes the ground clearance to a whopping 275mm.2022 Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition LaunchedRally Edition which is expected to launch soon is believed to get further upgrades, but straight out of the factory. For starters, Rally Edition will be a slightly larger motorcycle than the XPulse 200 4V with a rally kit. Rally Edition will get a longer wheelbase of 1427mm which is 17mm longer than the stock bike and 8mm longer than XPulse 200 with Rally Kit. With a long wheelbase, we also get 33mm greater overall length and 62mm greater overall height than stock XPulse 200 4V.In terms of design, Rally Edition gets a slightly reworked fuel tank with red and gold accents which make the bike look more handsome. Another notable aspect is that Rally Edition doesn’t get the rally-spec seat offered with Rally Kit. Hero XPulse 200 Rally Edition is expected to be a lot more capable than the stock bike and also its main competitor Himalayan.New Rally Kit & PriceThe new Rally Kit that will be sold is an upgrade over the old kit. It gets better components seeking out more capability. This new Rally Kit is for all existing XPulse 200 owners and for those who want to buy the stock bike now and maybe upgrade it later as they start to crave more off-road ability. While Rally Edition will be kitted out right from the factory.2022 Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition LaunchedNew Rally Kit is priced at Rs. 46,000. XPulse 200 4V is priced at Rs. 1,35,978 (ex-sh, Delhi) and will cost around Rs. 1.82 lakh (ex-sh) for the stock bike along with this kit. We expect Rally Edition to be priced around Rs. 1.55 lakh to 1.65 lakh (ex-sh).With Rally Kit, customers have to buy these upgraded components on top of stock components that came with the stock bike. Hence the added cost whereas with a Rally Edition, Hero will “replace” the stock parts with upgraded rally-spec parts right from the factory.Hero MotoCorp will launch both Rally Kit and XPulse 200 Rally Edition very soon. When launched, it will compete with Royal Enfield Himalayan and Yezdi Adventure. In terms of pricing, it will compete with a lot of other motorcycles including pseudo-adventure-tourers like Honda CB200X. More
