It is likely to have the same engine which will power the upcoming Harley Davidson for India. This is rumoured to be a 420cc engine, and could carry the name Xpulse 420.Testing for the same has already begun and spy shots have leaked online. Rendering artist Pratyush Rout has penned down his vision of what Xpulse 420 could look like. His renderings are based on spy shots, capturing most of its essence. Xpulse 420 renders get colours from Xpulse 200 2V and 4V.New Hero Xpulse 420 Spied In Ladakh2024 Hero Xpulse 420 Rendered – Ready To Off-roadThe name is an amalgamation of existing Xpulse lineup and 420cc engine (rumoured) co-developed with Harley-Davidson. Harley-Davidson’s upcoming single-cylinder Roadster will get this engine first. HD-4XX was present on the number plate on Harley’s prototype. As opposed to the skinny Xpulse 200, our render of 2024 Xpulse 420 comes off as significantly substantial. It gets a bikini fairing which neatly integrates into the muscular fuel tank. They even cleverly double as tank shrouds or extensions as well. Neatly integrated into its fairing, is a sharp beak. There is a sleek LED headlight below a prominent windscreen. Height of this windscreen is adjustable too, accommodating riders of varied heights.Hero Xpulse 420cc – RenderThere is a scooped-out rider’s seat, which should establish a (relatively) lower seat height. A slightly stepped pillion seat is present too. and the rear subframe ends in a luggage rack, doubling as grab rail for pillions. A chunky up-swept exhaust will ensure respectable water-wading capability. The red-painted tubular frame adds a sporty touch.Hero Xpulse 420cc – RenderMonotone and Dual-tone Colours From Xpulse 2V and 4V2024 Hero Xpulse 420 gets USD front forks, seen on test mules. Front fork covers neatly integrate into the motorcycle’s front fenders. Wire-spoke wheels might be 21” front and 18” rear. We wish Hero offers fatter, tubeless tyres with the production version of larger Xpulse.Xpulse 420 branding on its fuel tank and Hero branding on its side body panels is in line with what the company had done with Xpulse 200. Colour combinations with Xpulse 420 match those offered with Xpulse 200. These are Matte Nexus Blue, Polestar Blue and Sports Red combinations from Xpulse 200 4V and Matte Green, Panther Black, White and Matte Grey from the now discontinued Xpulse 200 2V.Hero Xpulse 420cc – RenderHero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson’s new 420cc – 450cc platform will spawn multiple new vehicles. Larger Xpulse will primarily lock its horns with KTM 390 ADV, BMW G310GS and upcoming Royal Enfield Himalyan 450. 2023 Hero Xpulse 420 could be priced aggressively in the range of Rs 3-4 lakh upon launch.Disclaimer – Design renders presented in this blog are solely for illustrative purposes and have not been commissioned, approved, or endorsed by the manufacturer. Hero Xtreme 160R Spied With USD Front Forks – Pulsar NS160 Rival

Hero Xtreme 160R is currently priced in the range of Rs 1.18 lakh to Rs 1.3 lakh, ex-shHero Xtreme 160R USD Front Forks SpiedMajority of Hero’s sales are driven by budget commuters like Splendor, Super Splendor, Passion, Glamour and the likes. In premium 160cc commuter space, Hero has Xtreme 160R, which doesn’t sell as much as the company would have liked. Hero can change this around and turn the tides toward its favour by making key changes to this machine.New Hero Xtreme 160R USD Forks Launch SoonWe’re talking about decisive factors like the USD front forks which were recently introduced in rival Bajaj Pulsar NS160. Latest test mule of Xtreme 160R has been spotted with USD front forks, indicating that it might launch soon.Apart from USD forks, there are going to be new colours as well as certain design changes to establish an iterative change with 160R. These changes were hidden under the camouflage. That said, we could spot the presence of a muscular grab rail. What Will Be Continued From Outgoing Model? There are a lot of good bits about Hero Xtreme 160R that will be carried over to this upcoming update. For starters, Hero Xtreme 160R is a well-equipped motorcycle with LED headlights, LED turn indicators, hazard light function, LED tail lights with smoked effect housing, fully digital instrument cluster with negative LCD and gear position indicator, muscular design and more.Hero Xtreme 160R USD Front Forks SpiedOne of the highlights of Hero Xtreme 160R has been its lower kerb weight. At just 138 kg (for rear drum variant), it is one of the lightest motorcycles in the segment, second to only TVS Apache RTR 160 2V. With impeccable ride and dynamics already established, Hero seems to have a solid baseline on which this update might build on.Hero Xtreme 160R USD Front Forks SpiedAlso, the 163 cc single-cylinder engine making 15 bhp of power and 14 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox is likely to be carried over. Single-channel ABS with rear optional disc brake will also be carried over, instead of a dual-channel option. What Do We Expect From This Update? With the launch of Bajaj Pulsar NS160 with USD front forks, Hero doesn’t want to be left behind in offering its customers a good riding package. In comes Hero Xtreme 160R with USD front forks which will offer enhanced corner-carving capabilities. Expect prices of Hero Xtreme 160R USD variant to be higher by about Rs 5k-10k, than the current version.Hero Xtreme 160R USD Front Forks SpiedWe hope Hero offers the same instrument cluster as Xpulse 200, 200T and Xtreme 200S on Xtreme 160R. This enables Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation as well. There is a tiny possibility of Xtreme 160R getting promoted to 200cc class with upcoming Karizma’s 210cc engine, now that Hunk is being tested with the same 160cc engine. More

New Hero Karizma 210cc Spied 1st Time – More Power, Features

Hero MotoCorp has registered two new names – Karizma XMR and Karizma XMR 210New Hero Karizma 210cc launch soon – SpiedHero MotoCorp is on the verge of stepping up its game in the premium motorcycle segment. They are working on launching a range of new motorcycles in the 200cc to 450cc segment. These will include new adventure motorcycles, roadsters as well as fully faired machines.Hero Karizma Coming Back – New Gen MotorcycleOne of them is likely to be new gen Karizma. Yes, Hero is getting ready to revive their iconic brand. Karizma was the flagship Hero motorcycle for many years, until it was discontinued. Over the years, Hero tried to revive the Karizma brand multiple times, but did not succeed to meet expectations. 2014 Karizma facelift designed by EBR (Erik Buell Racing) was the iceberg that single-handedly sank Hero’s Titanic.New Hero Karizma 210cc launch soon – SpiedHistorically speaking, Karizma has always been offered as a duo. A semi-faired Karizma with slightly less power and a fully-faired Karizma ZMR with more power. This time around as well, the same approach is expected. Hero has trademarked two names – Karizma XMR and Karizma XMR 210.Karizma XMR could be the less powerful one with a bikini fairing to take on Pulsar 220F. It might even don the same 200cc oil-cooled engine as outgoing Xtreme 200S. While the Karizma XMR 210 could be the fully faired offering with a liquid-cooled 210cc engine and 6-speed gearbox to take on Pulsar RS 200.[embedded content][embedded content]Xtreme 200S Design Language?Based on the latest Karizma test mule spied, it seems to be carrying a design inspired by Xtreme 200S. Closer inspection reveals an almost similar fairing, but more stylised. We can spot differences over Xtreme 200S – LED turn indicators with hazard light function and fairing-mounted ORVMs instead of being mounted on handlebars.New Hero Karizma 210cc launch soon – SpiedAs pricing was one of Karizma’s key strengths, we reckon it won’t bear any fancy equipment to ramp up costs. From the spy shots, it is clear that 2023 Hero Karizma does not get USD front forks. LED lighting, and Bluetooth connectivity with navigation could be offered. New Karizma 210 prices are expected to be in the Rs. 1.3 to 1.6 lakh bracket. Is 210 In Karizma XMR 210 Denoting Its Displacement? It is not yet confirmed. If we take the Aston Martin Rapide AMR 210 for example, the 210 in its name denotes two things. One, it is limited to just 210 units across the world. Two, it has a top speed of 210 mph, making it the fastest four-door sedan in the world.New Hero Karizma 210 – Name trademarkedSticking with Hero, that 210 has to mean something. Being logical, it won’t hit 210 km/h top speed. So, it is highly likely to denote its displacement. Liquid-cooled or not, that could be debatable. Also, it might very well be Hero’s 200cc engine, bored to displace 210cc and mated to a new 6-speed gearbox (rumoured). We can expect around 25 bhp and 30 Nm from this setup. More

Major design changes are unlikely, as the bike already has a sporty profile. Some premium hardware and new features could be among the key highlights of new-gen Xtreme 160R.New Hero Xtreme 160R SpiedNew Gen Hero Xtreme 160R – Updated features, More techEven in its current format, Hero Xtreme 160R is a well-equipped bike. It has all-LED lighting and an inverted LCD console with adjustable brightness. There are 5 brightness levels, allowing the user to choose as per their needs. At rear, the bike has 7-step rider adjustable monoshock suspension. The bike uses 17-inch wheels at both ends, shod with 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tyres.Braking duties are performed by 276 mm and 220 mm petal disc at front and rear, respectively. Single-channel ABS is offered as standard. The bike’s weight is 139.5 kg, which is the lowest in segment. Fuel tank capacity is 12 litres.Engine likely to deliver improved performance, more mileageWith rivals getting performance upgrades, it is important for Hero MotoCorp to upgrade the performance of Xtreme 160R. Currently, it is powered by a 163cc, air cooled motor that generates 15.2 PS of max power and 14 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. Expect the new 160R to deliver better acceleration as well as mileage figures.New Hero Xtreme 160 Spy Shots from last yearWith the updates, new-gen Xtreme 160R could witness a slight bump in prices. Existing prices start from Rs 1.18 lakh and go all the way to Rs 1.3 lakh. A total of 4 variants are on offer. In comparison, Pulsar N160 which was recently updated with USD forks, is priced at 1.27 lakh while the TVS Apache 160 price ranges from Rs 1.18 lakh to Rs 1.23 lakh. All prices are ex-sh.Apart from this, Hero is also working on a new 210cc range of motorcycles with full fairing (Karizma) as well as naked street (Hunk / Xtreme). They also have a new 420cc Xpulse and 420cc Xtreme / Xpulse in the making along with Harley Davidson 420cc.Source More

New Hero Motorcycle Design Patent Leaks – Hunk 200cc To Rival Pulsar, Apache?

Upon launch, Hero’s new motorcycle could take on rivals such as TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS200New Hero Motorcycle Design Patent Leaks – Is it Hunk 200cc?India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp has started looking beyond the commuter segment. The company has plans to launch multiple new products in 200cc to 500cc segment. This space is expected to register strong growth in coming years and Hero wants to make the most of it.Last month in March, it was revealed that Hero will be bringing back Karizma in its new-gen avatar. Now, patent documents reveal another new bike, which is expected to be Hunk 200. While Hunk is no longer available in India, it is sold in several international markets. New Hunk planned for India will have a unique profile and equipment list.New Hero Motorcycle Design Patent Leaks – Is it Hunk 200cc?Hero Hunk 200 stylingJust like other bikes in this segment, Hero Hunk 200 has a sleek profile. It is expected to have all-LED lighting. Some of the key highlights include compact headlamp cowl, wide handlebar, sculpted fuel tank design, sporty shoulder fairing, rugged engine protector, cone-shaped exhaust canister, single-piece saddle and boomerang-styled grab rails.Hero Hunk 200 could get a full-digital instrument console. It is expected to be a compact unit, all while displaying a wide range of information. It remains to be seen if Bluetooth-based connectivity features will be available with the bike. Among rivals, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has a dedicated connectivity suite. In comparison, Bajaj Pulsar NS200 does not have connectivity options.Riding stance seems a bit committed with the slightly low-set handlebar. However, foot pegs appear to be centrally mounted. Rider seat section has a scooped profile, which should ensure adequate comfort even during longer journeys. It also lowers the seat height, improving overall balance and handling. The bike appears to be agile and highly manoeuvrable, making it suitable for city streets. Pillion seat section seems a bit narrow, but the panels on the side are quite wide. These should ensure adequate thigh support.Hero Hunk 200 engine, specsPowering Hero Hunk 200 could be a new engine. Lack of a radiator indicates that the bike will have an air-cooled engine. Power and torque output could be comparable to other street bikes in this segment. For reference, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has a 197.75cc engine. In Sport mode, it churns out 20.82 PS of max power and 17.25 Nm of peak torque. Pulsar NS200 is equipped with a 199.5 cc motor that makes 24.5 PS and 18.74 Nm.Hero Hunk 200 is expected to get 17-inch alloy wheels, shod with standard tubeless tyres. It will have disc brakes at both ends, with at least single-channel ABS. Suspension system comprises telescopic forks at front and a monoshock unit at rear. There is unlikely to be any premium equipment such as ride-by-wire tech and slipper clutch. Hero is likely to focus on sporty styling, peppy performance and affordable pricing to make it work. More

2024 Hero Karizma 210cc Launch Planned – Pulsar 200 Rival

As opposed to the 223cc air-cooled engine with 20 bhp in its pocket, upcoming Hero Karizma with a liquid-cooled 210cc engine will be more potentImage for illustration purpose onlyIndian motorcycle manufacturers seem to be going back to their roots. Products that seem to be the next big thing, often disappoint where sales are concerned. Products that they replace, often come off as the more prominent and popular. We always crave what we can’t have, right? We observed this pattern with Pulsar 220F re-launch. Now, Hero is at it as well.Remember the Karizma series of faired motorcycles from Hero. How can you not? For, they were so memorable. We’re not talking about facelifted models launched in 2014, but the OG Karizma R and Karizma ZMR. Get ready to hear about them again, as they are reportedly making a grand comeback with a new liquid-cooled 210cc engine.Hero testing a new fully faired motorcycle – New Karizma?2024 Hero Karizma New Gen – 210cc Engine With Liquid CoolingEver since they were launched, Karizma series offered a lot of bang for the buck and were some of the most sought-after in its segment, rivaling Pulsar 220. Hero priced them right and even marketed them right. Bollywood star Hritik Roshan even nullifies a freaking tornado in a Karizma ZMR. I remember this because it was effective and memorable marketing.Facelifted models designed by EBR (Erik Buell Racing) were the sole holes in the ship as they single-handedly took down Karizma brand into an abyss. Hero did launch Xtreme 200S, which was supposed to be Karizma’s replacement, but really wasn’t. Now, Hero is set to bring in a new platform on which the upcoming Karizma will be based.Hero Xtreme 300S Fully Faired Motorcycle? We’re talking about a brand new frame, housing a brand new 210cc liquid-cooled engine and coupled to a brand new 6-speed gearbox. Exact specifics about this new engine are not yet out. But 25 bhp of power and 30 Nm should be reasonably adequate for this motorcycle. It would be launched as a fully faired motorcycle. Good thing about the upcoming 2024 Hero Karizma lineup is they are reportedly being designed with inspirations from OG Karizma series and not facelifted models. Phew!More Tech, More Power – Faster Than Ever BeforeGiven that Hero Karizma line represented value for money in the past, competitive pricing is likely to be the main strength. In favour of competitive pricing, Hero might skimp on USD forks and other fancy hardware like slipper clutch, ride-by-wire and more. However, we should expect disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS (at least as an option).LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, side stand sensor with engine cut off are features that are highly likely to make it to production. Elements like 6-speed gearbox, oil-cooling and USD front forks are firsts for any production-spec Hero MotoCorp offerings. It might be launched around the all-important festive season. 2024 Karizma price could be in the range of Rs 1.5 lakh.We really hope Hero would install the same engine in Xpulse 200 as well, breathing new life into an already potent platform. With 25 bhp and 30 Nm, Hero Xpulse would absolutely fly in trails and off-roading situations. We are likely to see more “KariPulse” too, plonking this new 210cc engine in Xpulse chassis.Source More
