CFMoto Electric Scooter Planned For India Launch – Ather 450X Rival

    CFMOTO ZEEHO Electric Scooter
Upon its launch, Zeeho Cyber e-scooter will compete against the likes of Ather 450X and Bajaj Chetak Electric

CFMoto had been out of the news for over a year until it recently made its comeback with the BS6 updated 300NK. This will be followed by its faired sibling 300SR which is expected to be launched in India in the coming months. In fact, the Chinese automaker has planned to launch a new product every eight months.
The company has revealed that the 650cc trio is also expected to arrive in India soon. However, the bikemaker isn’t only looking to bring in new conventionally IC-powered two-wheelers in the country. The brand is also looking ahead in future and developing electric mobility solutions that would also make it to the country.
    Zeeho Cyber e-scooter
At the end of last year, CFMoto launched its new subsidiary brand Zeeho which will spearhead the company’s electric mobility division. It also revealed the Cyber concept electric scooter which reports suggest might be launched in India in the near future. Like the petrol-powered two-wheelers from CFMoto, the upcoming electric two-wheelers under the Zeeho brand will also be designed by Kiska Designs.
    Concept Design
Zeeho Cyber concept sports a futuristic design although the production-spec model is expected to be a lot different. At front, the e-scooter concept gets an LED headlamp which is flanked by two wing-like LED light panels.

Its front fairing is sporty and muscular yet sleeker than its rear end. The side fairing extends backward to meet the LED taillights which are essentially facing sideways. The seat looks exceptionally small to accommodate a pillion.
    Specifications
Coming to its specifications, the concept featured a pouch-style 4kWh lithium-ion battery manufactured by Farasis Energy that is paired with Zeeho’s indigenously developed Cobra 10 kW water-cooled motor. This powertrain is capable of producing an output of 13.4 bhp and a humongous 213 Nm of peak torque.
This torque figure helps the e-scooter sprint 0-50 kmph in just 2.9 seconds while its top speed has been capped at 110 kmph. The company claims a range of 130 km on a single charge as per NEDC (New European Driving Cycle).
CFmoto Zeeho Cyber Electric Scooter Concept
There are three driving modes on offer as well namely- Eco, Street and Sport which clearly reveal their utility. The company claims a lifespan of 2,500 cycles which roughly translates to eight years of normal usage or 3 lakh kilometres. The battery could be rejuvenated from 0 to 80 % using a fast charger for 30 minutes. The battery pack can operate in temperatures ranging from -20-degree to 55-degree celsius which makes it suitable for most countries.
As per the company, the India-spec model has slightly different specifications than its international version. Zeeho will also be looking to extend its lineup to electric bikes as well which should also be introduced in India. According to reports, CFMoto intends to launch Zeeho Cyber in India towards the end of this year following its international debut in June 2021.

CFMoto 300SR India Launch Planned – Rival To KTM RC 390, Ninja 300

    CFMOTO 300SR
Mechanically, the faired 300SR is identical to the naked 300NK with the same powertrain and hardware setup

After being absent for the better part of 2020, CFMoto announced its re-entry to the Indian market by launching the BS6 iteration of its naked streetfighter 300NK. Now, the Chinese bikemaker wants its presence to be felt across the country on a larger scale. Hence it is contemplating on launching the faired sibling of 300NK.
As per a report, CFMoto is likely to launch 300SR in India towards the end of this year; between October and December. The faired sports bike is expected to be made available in India as a CKD product which means it could be priced very competitively. It is expected to be priced at Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom) which would make Rs 20,000 dearer than its naked sibling.
    Design & Features
A few weeks ago, the motorcycle made its debut in Philippines. As its naked version, the 300SR has been designed by KISKA which has also contributed to the Duke range of motorcycles for KTM. It features a sporty, aggressive and proper aerodynamically designed fairing that is able to catch one’s attention at once.
It gets a pair of slit LED headlights flanked by LED DRLs which give the bike an angry look. Other notable design highlights include stepped-up split seats, a raised windscreen, a muscular tank, lower-set clip-on handlebars and a dual-tone colour scheme.
    CFMOTO 300SR
In terms of features, 300SR comes equipped with a TFT colour screen with two different modes and an all-LED setup for lighting. It has a kerb weight of 165 kg and can hold up to 12-litres of fuel in its tank. The Philippines-spec model is available with a new Nebula White color scheme which is a combination of white and teal.
    Mechanical Specs
Mechanically, 300SR is identical to its naked streetfighter sibling. It is powered by a 292.4cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that puts out 34 bhp at 8750rpm and 20.5 Nm of peak torque at 7250rpm. This unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox. As far as its dynamics are concerned, its suspension setup consists of a 37mm upside-down USD fork at front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at rear.
Anchorage is taken care of by a single 292mm disc at front and a 220mm disc at rear while a safety net is provided by a dual-channel ABS. It rides on 17-inch designed wheels shod by 110/70-section tyre at front and a 140/60-section tyre at rear.
Upon its arrival in India, it will lock its horns against the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300, TVS Apache RR 310 and the upcoming new-gen KTM RC 390. More details will be revealed closer to launch.

    2021 CFMoto 300NK BS6 Launch Price Rs 2.29 L – KTM Duke Rival

    CFMOTO 300NK
The 2021 CFMoto 300NK is offered with minute styling revisions and a BS6 updated engine

For the entire 2020, we barely got to hear about Chinese bikemaker CFMoto. The company neither launched any new products nor did it update its existing ones. Many were made to believe that would put a full stop on the company’s operations in India with the outbreak of novel coronavirus until recently, after a long time it made its presence felt in social media.
A few days ago, the manufacturer had shared a couple of teasers of the upcoming BS6 avatar of 300NK. Now, the Chinese brand has launched the updated naked streetfighter in India at the same price as its BS4 predecessor.  Therefore, the BS6 compliant 300NK will be retailed at a price of Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
    Updated Design
At first glance, one wouldn’t notice any major differences because there aren’t any. There are only subtle cosmetic variations from its BS4 iteration which include small tweaks to fuel tank covers and tank extensions.
The updated 300NK continues to sport the same styling which features design elements such as a low-slung full-LED headlamp, an upswept rear section, a muscular fuel tank, an underbelly exhaust and a rear-fender mounted number plate.
    CFMOTO 300NK BS6
Contrasting blue colours of its fuel tank cover and frame make it look edgier and sportier with the influence of KISKA. These are the same folks who have designed KTM’s Duke range of motorcycles. It rides on new Y-shaped spoke alloy wheels with new contrasting coloured rims instead of the older star alloy spoke design.
    BS6 Updated Engine
The major update has been in its engine department which now complies with the latest BS6 emission norms. One can sport the large catalytic converter below the engine underbelly. It continues to be powered by a 292.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which in its BS4 guise kicked out 33.5 bhp and 20.5 Nm of peak torque.
The exact specifications of the engine are yet to be revealed officially although output figures might alter slightly to its BS4 predecessor. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox but will miss out on a slip and assist clutch.
    Mechanical Configurations
Its hardware setup has also remained untouched with it being based on a steel Trellis frame. Suspension duties will be taken care of by upside-down USD forks at front and a mono-shock at rear. Braking duties will be handled by calipers from J. Juan which are chewed down by single discs at both ends. The braking setup will be assisted by dual-channel ABS.
CFMoto 300NK will take on the likes of BMW G310R and KTM 250 Duke. Its launch will be followed by the introduction of other models of the Chinese brand including 650NK, 650MT and 650GT. The company is also planning to launch an electric two-wheeler in India at some stage in the near future. More

    2021 CFMoto 300NK BS6 Teased – KTM Duke 250, BMW G310R Rival

    Image for reference
Albeit the mandatory BS6 compliance of the engine, there will not be any major updates on the new CFMoto 300NK

Chinese two-wheeler brand CFMoto has been absent in India since 2019. The company was expected to bring back its products in the updated BS6 avatar, however, things did not add up to plan due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus. It seems the company is now ready to return to the fold in India.
CFMoto has teased the BS6 version of its 300NK on its social media handle which is expected to launch in the country soon. We expect the upcoming bike to achieve more levels of localisation in order to be more competitively priced. In its BS4 guise, 300NK was retailed at a price of Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
    Expected Design & Features
The 2021 300NK is unlikely to witness any major updates in terms of its styling or mechanical specifications apart from cleaner emissions from the engine. Although, the bike might receive new colour options along with new body graphics.
It is very much likely to carry forward the same sharp design with features such as dual-tone paint scheme, rear fender mounted number plate, underbelly exhaust and dual-tone paint scheme.
    CFMOTO 300 NK BS6 Teaser
300NK bears a close resemblance with KTM’s Duke range of motorcycles since it has been designed by Kiska designs, the same folks that have been involved with the Austrian brand. We don’t expect a major overhaul in its equipment either. This means we will continue to see the same set of features such as a colour TFT display, all-LED lighting and a USB charger.
    Expected Mechanical Specs
Coming to its powertrain, it is expected to be powered by the same 292.4cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected which powered its BS4 predecessor. Its output figures, although, could be slightly different in its upcoming BS6 avatar. In its BS4 guise, this motor churned out 33.5 bhp and 20.5 Nm of peak torque. It will continue to be paired with a 6-speed gearbox but will miss out on a slip and assist clutch.
It is also expected to retain its hardware setup which is based on a Steel Trellis frame. Suspension duties are handled by upside-down USD forks at front and a mono-shock at rear. Stopping power will come from single discs on both wheels which are clamped by calipers from J. Juan. The brakes will be assisted by dual-channel ABS.
Once launched, it will take on the likes of KTM Duke 250 and BMW G310R in India. Launch of NK300 will probably be followed by the introduction of other CFMoto models in India including 650NK, 650MT and 650GT. The manufacturer is also planning to launch an electric motorcycle in India in the near future. More

CFMoto Zeeho Cyber Electric Scooter Concept – Likely Rival To Ather 450X

CFmoto Zeeho Cyber Electric Scooter Concept
CFMoto has announced the launch of their new sub-brand Zeeho; which will launch future ready electric two wheelers

Chinese automaker CFMoto has launched its new brand Zeeho. Under Zeeho, they have unveiled their electric scooter concept named Cyber, which is expected to enter production in 2021.
This will be the first electric scooter by CFMoto and it highlights the company’s strategy to increase focus on electric two-wheelers in the coming years. CFMoto’s current global portfolio comprises motorcycles, side-by-side utility vehicles, all-terrain vehicles and powersports engines.
CFMoto Zeeho Cyber design and features
In its concept form, Zeeho Cyber sports a futuristic look and feel. Some of the key design elements include striking LED headlamp and DRLs, sculpted bodywork with a mix of sharp cuts and smooth curves, a radical seat design, shortened tail and edgy tail lamps and turn indicators. The rear wheel is placed farther than the tail section, which seems something new for a scooter.
Talking about features, Zeeho Cyber gets an iPad like instrument panel that has GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It supports several functions such as navigation, voice controls and keyless start. Smartphone pairing is also available.

For optimal performance in varied riding conditions, users can select from the three riding modes of Eco, Street and Sport. These can be accessed via the instrument panel.
    CFMoto Zeeho Cyber powertrain
Zeeho Cyber tech specs are quite impressive and better than many of the current breed of electric scooters. It utilizes a 4 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack that sends power to a highly efficient motor with energy conversion rate of 92 percent. It is capable of generating 13.4 hp of max power, which can be sustained over longer durations without the risk of overheating or damaging the battery or motor. Available peak torque at the wheel is 213 Nm.

As per NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) standards, Zeeho Cyber has a range of more than 130 km. It can reach 0 to 50 kmph in just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 110 kmph. This makes it a lot faster than Ather 450x – which is currently the quickest electric scooter on sale in India. Zeeho Cyber also has an higher range, as compared to Ather 450x.
One of the key strengths of Zeeho Cyber is its advanced battery pack that can work in temperature of -20° to 55°. This makes it suitable for most parts of the world. The battery can be recharged 2,500 times, which is around 8 years of lifespan or 3 lakh kilometres for the average user. The battery comes with fast charging, allowing users to load 80% in just around 30 minutes.

It is possible that CFMoto may introduce Zeeho Cyber electric in the Indian market. The lifestyle electric scooter segment has a lot of potential in the country and customers are willing to pay for a good product.
Once launched, this scooter is a potential rival to Ather 450x and the upcoming electric scooter from KTM, based on Bajaj Chetak platform. As of now, CFMoto has four motorcycles in its India portfolio – 300 NK, 650 NK, 650 MT and 650 GT. CFMoto had also teased a Zeeho electric bike, which is another product that could be considered for the Indian market. More

  • Chinese Brand CFMoto To Launch BS6 Motorcycles – Test Ride Registrations Start

Staying bullish on the Indian performance motorcycle segment, Chinese manufacturer CFMoto has revealed its plans for launch of BS6 models
As may be recalled, most players in the auto sector had experienced delays with their BS6 upgrade schedule due to lockdown. CFMoto had entered the Indian market last year and it had started deliveries in November. The company had followed an aggressive pricing strategy for its bikes, much lower as compared to rival products.

Due to lockdown, CFMoto had to suspend bookings earlier this year. Now that things are improving during the ‘unlock’ phase, CFMoto has resumed bookings for its motorcycles. CFMoto plans to launch of BS6 motorcycles in the coming weeks. They have started accepting test ride registrations on their website.
    CFMoto’s current offerings
CFMoto’s existing portfolio comprises four motorcycles – 300 NK, 650 NK, 650 MT and 650 GT. All four are expected to be upgraded to BS6.

CFMoto test ride registrations for BS6 motorcycles
300NK is powered by a 292.4cc liquid cooled, DOHC single cylinder engine that churns out 33 bhp of max power and 25 Nm of max torque. Engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike sports a streetfighter look, which has been designed by KISKA, a subsidiary of KTM. Some key features include sharp LED headlamp, lean fuel tank, TFT LCD instrument console, split seat, 5-spoke alloy wheels and edgy LED tail light. USD front forks and dual-channel ABS are offered as standard.
CFMoto 650NK is primarily a commuter bike powered by a 649.3 cc engine. It makes 60 bhp / 56 Nm and comes mated to 6-speed gearbox. 650MT fits in a multifunctional role and comes with a snazzy, streamlined design. It can work both for city streets as well as mild-off-roading tracks. The bike utilizes the stable CFMoto 650CC engine platform.
650GT is essentially a touring focused motorcycle that boasts of sporty performance and practical features. Engine is the same as that of 650NK. The bike offers a comfortable riding stance and is equipped with an aerodynamic windshield, 5-inch TFT display, and all-LED lighting.
    CFMoto Expansion plans
Being a newcomer, CFMoto has limited presence in the country. With the lockdown, the company’s expansion plans may also have been delayed. The first showroom was launched in Thane last year, followed by one in Bengaluru. CFMoto is likely to be targeting other cities as well such as Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, etc. The plan is to increase the number of dealers to around 50 by end of next year. If things go well, the company can also launch new products in 2021. More
