Mahindra BE.05 Interiors Spied Revealing New Features – 2025 Launch?

Mahindra BE.05 Interiors SpiedWhen compared to larger siblings like XUV.e8 and XUV.e9, Mahindra BE.05 gets the wildest design both on the inside and outThe frequency of Mahindra’s EV test mule sightings is increasing. Mahindra is testing them in full swing across India in varied terrains and climatic conditions. Recently, Mahindra BE.05 was spied testing alongside XUV700 EV Coupe (XUV.e9) was XUV700 EV (XUV.e8). These spy shots show the eSUV’s interiors. Lets take a look.Mahindra BE.05 Interiors SpiedAmong the five upcoming INGLO platform based electric vehicles showcased by Mahindra, BE.05 is probably the most enticing. It is the smallest of these five and is likely to be the most affordable. It will be the first vehicle to bear the BE tag and associated design DNA. While other two fall in XUV.e lineup.Mahindra BE.05 Interiors SpiedWhere design is concerned, BE.05 is the wildest, with a futuristic appeal. BE.07 and BE.09 carry a similar edgy design DNA. BE.05 is a compact-sized electric SUV that will establish itself as a premium offering when launched. Owing to its design and appearance, it will be positioned above XUV400.The new spy shots reveal a glimpse of BE.05’s interior. We can see a quirky interior that will prove to be striking and futuristic when launched. For starters, there is not inside door handle like in a traditional car. Instead, Mahindra is giving pull tabs with interesting patterns. Coupled with what looks like a door open switch or lock switch beside this pull tab.Mahindra BE.05 Interiors SpiedBE.05 gets a pronounced split on the inside lending a cockpit-like feel to driver. There seems to be a floating-style centre console too. Unlike XUV.e8 and XUV.e9, BE.05 gets two horizontal displays only. Other notable attributes are a hexagonal shape twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo and a cavity for a HUD in the future.Mahindra is using a fabric seat upholstery and the same can be seen in door panels as well. There is a probability that Mahindra is using recycled material and hence there is no leatherette. We can see a wireless charger and the front armrest seems to be sliding-type.Mahindra BE.05 FrontUnique fascia for base modelBE.05 has a sharp fascia with massive C-shaped LED DRLs with sleek LED headlights on the top model. Lower-tier BE.05 variants get a unique fascia with a sleek horizontal LED DRL with a circular projector headlight below, positioned in a larger housing. The grill design is slightly different from base model.Mahindra BE.05 Base VariantThe bonnet seems to have an active air channel which seems to be deflecting air coming in from the front. There seem to be air channels near front wheel arches too. Mahindra BE.05 gets a coupe sloping roof line shape as well, but it is edgier than what is seen on XUV.e9. Aerodynamic alloy wheels and fixed glass roof are other notable highlights.Mahindra BE.05 Top Model HeadlightsPowertrains-wise, Mahindra is likely to offer around 60 kWh of battery pack. We hope BE.05 gets dual motor AWD setup or at least RWD setup. Launch might happen in 2025.Mahindra BE.05 RearSource More

Electric Range Rover And Sport Spied Testing Without Camouflage

Electric Range Rover and Range Rover SportBoth electric Range Rover and Sport are likely to pack similar powertrain elements with features like rear-wheel steering, torque vectoringIn a historic move, Jaguar Land Rover has revealed their plans to go fully electric in the near future. Land Rover had announced and even revealed official images of their fully electric Range Rover. The same has been spotted testing for the first time on public roads. Surprisingly, the unannounced electric Range Rover Sport has commenced testing too. Let’s take a look.Electric Range Rover And SportThe response to an electric future in automotive sector has been slightly iffy. More car makers have been contemplating their decision to go fully electric just to be on the safer side. Many OEMs have incurred heavy losses spearheading into electric mobility.Electric Range RoverJaguar and Land Rover (JLR Group) has come up with a new future roadmap of an EV-only portfolio. Along with this, there will be a radical shift of product positioning in Jaguar’s lineup. Land Rover had revealed the electric Range Rover some time ago in official pictures ahead of launch or unveil. The same has been spotted in testing on public roads, suggesting a probable launch in 2025 or early 2026. The most interesting part about this development is the spotting of electric Range Rover Sport, which was neither unveiled in images nor announced in any capacity.Electric Range Rover SportBoth test mules were spotted in Southern Europe and had no camouflage at all. That’s because there are no design changes with these vehicles at all. Except for the blacked out front grill along with Land Rover logo, both these test mules were virtually identical to their ICE counterparts. There are a few testing equipment strapped on these vehicles and electric Range Rover (full size) even had an element from its rear bumper missing. Which is expected with test mules. That said, both electric Range Rover and electric Range Rover Sport looked very close to production and most of the elements seem to be finalised.Electric Range Rover SportWhat to expect? While they look 95% identical to their ICE counterparts, electric Range Rover and Range Rover Sport might be positioned on an MLA electric platform with up to 100 kWh (speculated) battery pack. There will be two electric motors at least with enough performance to match their V8-equipped ICE variants. Say, 500 bhp to 600 bhp and a 500 km claimed range. There have been various speculations on Jaguar and Land Rover’s future. Jaguar is pulling the plug on all of its vehicles across genres, except for F-Pace. Until the next generation of Jaguars are developed, F-Pace will be the company’s sole offering.Electric Range Rover SportJLR Group has joined hands with Chinese carmaker Chery for platform sharing as well. This should allow for Land Rover to come up with relatively affordable electric luxury SUVs based on Chery Exeed’s platforms like M3X (a.k.a. T2X) and E0X (co-developed with Huawei).Electric Range RoverSource 1Source 2 More

Mahindra XUV700 EV Coupe Interiors Spied – Dashboard, Sunroof, Seats, Steering

Mahindra XUV700 EV CoupeUpcoming Mahindra XUV700 EV Coupe (XUV.e9) is likely to pack 80 kWh battery powering up to two electric motors with 200 km/h top speedTesting for Mahindra’s INGLO platform based vehicles is going in full swing. We have managed to get our hands on spy shots of XUV.e8, XUV.e9 and BE.05 electric SUV engineering test mules across the country. The latest spy shots show the interiors of Mahindra XUV700 EV Coupe (XUV.e9) in full detail. Let’s take a look.Mahindra XUV700 EV CoupeWith electric vehicles taking more prominence than they ever did, more OEMs are taking the electric route. Mahindra is no exception and sells XUV400 in India. However, the company is on the verge of launching its INGLO platform-based born electric vehicles that will play a major role in Mahindra’s global expansion strategies.Mahindra XUV700 EV CoupeIn the recent past, we posted XUV.e9’s interiors while it was loading on a plane, ready to be shipped abroad. For testing or for shooting TVCs, we presumed. But those test mules had a lot of testing equipment and were not very clear, showing fewer details about Mahindra’s upcoming electric coupe SUV.The new spy shots, however, show XUV.e9’s interiors in full clarity, revealing a lot more details we couldn’t grasp with previous spy shots. For starters, we can see that Mahindra XUV700 EV Coupe (XUV.e9) shares a lot of its switchgear and almost all of its components with XUV700. This is not a bad thing as XUV700 is quite a feature-loaded offering.Mahindra XUV700 EV CoupeDashboard is the same as Mahindra XUV700’s, but we get a new free-standing triple-screen setup that takes centre stage. Dual-zone climate control panel and AC vents, headlight control stalk, wiper control stalk, interior door trims, centre console, seats, armrests and other attributes are the same as those of XUV700.Mahindra XUV700 EV CoupeWhat are the changes?Apart from the new triple-screen layout that we mentioned above, there are a lot of new elements that these new spy shots show. For starters, there is a new twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo (Tata Motors vibes here). It is leather-wrapped and has horn pads at the ends for easy reach with thumbs (love it).Centre console still retains the lovely physical infotainment dial from XUV700, but there is a new and fancier gear selector with Blue accents. There seem to be extra speakers with XUV.e9 as suggested by the grill at the top of door trims, but this might just be a non-functional pattern too. What will be functional, though, is a hollow space on the dashboard which will be populated by a large HUD in the future.Mahindra XUV700 EV CoupeThe illuminated logo we mentioned on XUV.e9 is likely to be specific to XUV.e lineup. This is a brand new logo, which looks an infinity. It is different than Mahindra’s Twin Peaks logo. So, we get old oval Mahindra logo for CVs, Twin Peaks for PVs, a new “Infinity” logo for XUV.e range and BE logo for, well, BE range of vehicles. We also get a closer look at the leather seats as well as the fixed glass roof. Powertrains-wise, we expect Mahindra XUV700 EV Coupe (XUV.e9) to pack up to an 80 kWh battery and an option for dual motor AWD layout with around 200 km/h top speed. Launch is likely to happen in 2025 and will rival Tata Safari EV.Also read – Mahindra BE.05 base model gets unique fascia More
