Based on new Himalayan 450 platform, Guerrilla 450 boasts a Roadster-style body that pits it against the likes of other classic Roadsters like Triumph Speed 400, Harley-Davidson X440, Hero Mavrick 440, Yezdi Roadster and the neo-retro Honda CB300R.Where cycle parts are concerned, Guerrilla packs 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless road-biased tyres, RSU telescopic front forks and it lacks all the added mounting frames, windscreen and the heft of Himalayan 450. Owing to less-premium components, Guerrilla 450 will be priced below Himalayan 450. The 40 bhp, 40 Nm Sherpa 450 engine will be retained as is.Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber Patent Image Leaked2. Classic 350 BobberBased on Royal Enfield’s best-selling Classic 350, a new Bobber-style bike is incoming. Initial speculations suggest the name Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber. However, the company has trademarked Goan Classic 350 name in India and is likely to go on this bike. We say Bobber-style and not Bobber version because there doesn’t seem to be any increase in wheelbase.Just an ape-hanger style handlebar, a stubby rear subframe with an optional pillion seat, white-walled tyres, the same tail lights and rear indicators as new Shotgun 650, and not a lot more. It would be nice if RE gave it an extended wheelbase like a proper Bobber. The 20 bhp, 27 Nm J-Series engine will continue as is.Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin3. Classic 650 TwinRoyal Enfield recently trademarked the Classic 650 Twin name. Test mules of the same have been making rounds for some time now. It will be positioned above Interceptor 650 and below Super Meteor 650. In that regard, it misses out on USD telescopic front forks and a few other fancy components.Overall design looks like a proportionately larger Classic 350 and is not a bad thing at all. Classic 650 Twin gets the same chassis as Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650. Powertrain will be shared with other RE 650s in the form of a 648cc parallel twin oil-cooled engine with 47 bhp and 52 Nm.Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Side4. Bullet 650Just like the new Bullet 350, Royal Enfield Bullet 650 will be a variation of Classic 650 Twin. Both motorcycles are essentially cut from the same cloth and get minor design distinctions. Just like their 350cc counterparts, Bullet 350 will be positioned below Classic 650 Twin. When it comes to 500cc+ motorcycle segment, Royal Enfield leads with more than 90% market share owing to the popularity of its 650cc portfolio.Royal Enfield Sales Breakup April 2024 GraphClassic 350 is still Royal Enfield’s best-selling product and is likely to stay that way for a long time. Clocking 29,476 units last month, Classic 350 accounted for 39.28% of Royal Enfield’s total domestic sales. When compared to the 26,781 units sold in April 2023 and 25,508 units sold in March 2024, Classic 350 saw 10.06% YoY growth and 15.56% MoM growth respectively.Volume growth for Classic 350 was 2,695 units YoY and 3,968 units MoM. Royal Enfield is soon spawning a Bobber version of Classic 350 too. In 2nd place is Hunter 350, the most affordable RE 350. With 16,186 units sold last month, Hunter 350 accounted for 21.57% of RE’s total domestic sales.Royal Enfield Sales Breakup April 2024 – YoYHunter 350 saw 2.45% YoY and 3.08% MoM growth respectively and achieved a volume growth of 387 units YoY and 484 units MoM. The iconic Bullet 350 came 3rd in RE’s sales charts with 13,165 units. When opposed to 12,178 units sold a year ago and 11,262 units sold a month before, Bullet 350 saw 8.10% YoY growth and 16.90% MoM growth.In RE’s total domestic sales, Bullet 350 contributes 17.54%. Where volume growth is concerned, Bullet 350 gained 987 units YoY and 1,903 units MoM. Selling 10,132 units, we have Meteor 350 in 4th place accounting for 13.50% of RE’s total sales in domestic market. Meteor 350 saw 33.35% YoY growth with 2,534 units volume gain and 13.04% MoM growth with 1,169 units volume gain.Bikes with sub 10K unitsHimalayan is the newest single-cylinder Royal Enfield bike and is soon spawning a stripped-down Roadster version called Guerrilla 450. Himalayan 450 is down on sales YoY as opposed to Himalayan 411 by 17.15% YoY de-growth, but MoM sales were positive at 31.63% growth and 701 units volume gained MoM.Royal Enfield Sales Breakup April 2024 – MoMIn 6th place, we have Royal Enfield’s 650 Twins – Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, with 2,189 units sold last month. It has seen sales of 97,048 units sold last month which was a 23.31% YoY growth from 78,700 units sold in April 2023.TVS Raider (51,098 units) and TVS Apache (45,520 units) followed in quick succession, both posting a 62.26% and 19.32% YoY growth in sales respectively. This was the highest monthly sales registered by Raider. The two wheeler maker has also expanded its global sales to include Italian markets for its range of ICE and electric scooters.Sales of the Bajaj Platina dipped 4.90% YoY to 44,054 units in April 2024, down from 46,322 units sold in April 2023. It was followed by the RE Classic 350, sales of which grew by 10.06% to 29,476 units on a YoY basis while Honda Unicorn amassed 25,889 unit sales last month.
