Neev Motorcycles Yoddha Is Royal Enfield Wrapped In Warrior Spirit

Royal Enfield Modified By Neev MotorcyclesBarring the engine-gearbox assembly, all components of this custom-built motorcycle have been handcrafted
When it comes to aftermarket customisation in motorcycles, no one can beat Royal Enfield as a brand. The company builds motorcycles that are known to last long and strong hence are the favourites among folks in the aftermarket industry. Here is another case of a Royal Enfield bike being modified into something tasteful.
A Royal Enfield 500cc model, has been modified into a naked streetfighter cum cafe racer. Dubbed ‘Yoddha’ which stands for warrior in Hindi, the bike has been custom built by Neev Motorcycles based out of New Delhi. Going by first impressions, Yoddha stays true to its name.
Royal Enfield Modified By Neev Motorcycles
The key area of focus is the modified design which is an original piece of work by Navneet Suri, Lead Designer & Founder of Neev Motorcycles. For starters, all body panels from the donor motorcycles have been pulled down and replaced by new custom-built components. The side panels are in the form of an armour shield bolted to the mainframe with graphics of a skull on the background of two crossed swords emphasizing on its bad-ass and aggressive nature.
    Custom Design
Speaking of the mainframe, the chassis and swingarm assembly has been custom built from scratch to add a touch of novelty to its style. Makers have made use of a custom paint job comprising a combination of matte black and silver flames/pinstripes that makes the bike a sure head-turner in the crowd.
Royal Enfield Modified By Neev Motorcycles
Elaborating on the styling, the front end features after-market twin headlights and the sides are graced by a sharp-looking fuel tank with a warrior graphic on top of it. It gets a single-piece saddle only accommodating the rider.
Royal Enfield Modified By Neev Motorcycles
The workshop has made use of a custom straight handlebar that has been blacked out. Exhaust setup has been made out of stainless steel while the free-flowing M4 muffler has been finished in raw glass wool fibre.
The front fender has also been chopped off to accommodate new tyres. The rear section has also been completely chopped off. All in all, design components such as fenders, body panels, swingarm, seat, fuel tank, belly pan and exhaust are handcrafted aftermarket components.
Royal Enfield Modified By Neev Motorcycles
    Changes in hardware
Cycle parts of Yoddha are also starkly different from the stock Royal Enfield motorcycle. The hand-built swingarm assembly houses 17-inch front and rear wheels with black spoked alloy shod by tyre profiles of 190/50 and 110/60 respectively.
The stock conventional telescopic forks at front have been replaced by forks while the rear retains a mono-shock. Specifications regarding barking haven’t been revealed but it looks like the front is taken care of by a 300mm disc with 4 piston caliper while a 230mm disc at rear aids stopping duties.
Switchgear on the handle has been retained, although rearview mirrors have been removed. In terms of its powertrain as well, there is no mention of any changes. Hence we can assume that the 500cc single-cylinder motor paired to a 5-speed gearbox delivers the same output figures. More

KTM RC 390 New Gen Launch Soon – Current Model Discontinued?

Image – car.spyshotsNext-gen KTM RC 390 will be launched in the Indian market first
KTM India has removed the existing RC390 from their website. KTM dealers in India are no longer accepting bookings for the RC 390. It is unclear if this is because of shortage of parts, or is it because the new one is ready for launch.
As evident in spy images, next-gen KTM RC 390 will pack in a range of updates. Everything from styling to bodywork, ergonomics, frame and safety has been updated. Next-gen KTM RC 390 will continue to rival the likes of TVS Apache RR 310, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and new Benelli 302R.
Next-gen KTM RC 390 – design and styling
New RC 390 gets full-LED headlamp, which appears to be similar to that of discontinued KTM RC8 superbike. Revisions can also be seen in the handlebar, frame, seats, and wheels. The transparent fairing at the front appears wider, which could provide better wind protection. It houses edgy, boomerang styled LED turn indicators. Another key update is air vents on the side panels, which will ensure optimized air flow.
RC 390 new model gets larger fuel tank, which means less stops at fuel stations. The motorcycle has been equipped with a new rear sub-frame that will ensure more comfortable rides for tall users. Talking about ergonomics, next-gen RC 390 favours a relatively upright riding stance. This appears to be similar to that of TVS Apace RR 310.
2021 KTM RC 200 – New RC 390 will carry similar styling
In comparison, the current model has an aggressive riding position. In other updates, new RC 390 could get a TFT instrument cluster. This could be similar to the one in use with 390 Duke.
    Next-gen KTM RC 390 engine
Current RC 390 comes with a 373 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is capable of generating 44 hp of max power and 35 Nm of max torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. It is expected that engine specs will remain the same as earlier.
Even if there are some revisions to the engine, it would be minor in nature and unlikely to make any big difference in performance. It is possible though that KTM may introduce a larger exhaust canister and few emission related updates for next-gen RC 390.
Suspension setup is the same as earlier – WP inverted telescopic front forks and monoshock unit at the rear. However, braking apparatus appears to have been updated with a larger disc at the front. This will ensure better stopping power.
    Next-gen KTM RC 390 price
With the updates, next-gen KTM RC 390 is expected to be launched at a price of Rs 2.80 lakh. The current model is priced at Rs 2.65 lakh. Just like the current model, next-gen KTM RC 390 will be manufactured at Bajaj Auto’s production facility in Chakan, near Pune. More

    Hero Xpulse 200, Xpulse 200T, Xtreme 200S Prices Increased – Apr 2021

Image for reference. Credit – NischitPrices of other models from Hero MotoCorp would also be increased at a later stage
Hero MotoCorp, like all other automotive brands, has increased the prices of some of its models. This includes the company’s flagship touring lineup of Xpulse 200, Xpulse 200T and Xtreme 200S. The bikemaker had earlier last month announced its intention to hike prices since the start of a new financial year.
All three models have received a uniform price increment of Rs 3,000. The revised prices have come into effect since the beginning of this month. The revision in prices is not accompanied by any sort of updates either mechanical or aesthetic. There are no updates to the feature list as well.
    Price Revision
Despite the increase in prices, all three motorcycles continue to be one of the most affordable in their respective segments. In fact, Xpulse 200 and Xpulse 200T are the most affordable adventure and touring motorcycles in the Indian market at a price of Rs 1,18,230 and Rs 1,15,800.
After the latest revision, Hero’s only faired motorcycle- Xtreme 200S, is offered at a price of Rs 1,20,214 (all prices are ex-showroom). Below are the new prices of the three motorcycles, applicable from April 2021.
Hero New Price – April 2021
    Engine Specs
All three motorcycles draw their energy from the same 199.6cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that delivers an output of 17.8 bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.45 Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. This motor is linked to a 5-speed gearbox.
Apart from the mechanical stuff, all three models also share the same amount of features which include a digital instrument console, a full-LED headlamp and Bluetooth connectivity for navigation and call alerts.
    Hardware Specs
They, however, differ in their on-road dynamics. Suspension setup of all three bikes consists of conventional telescopic forks at front and a mono-shock at rear but they are tuned differently for different purposes for each model. Being an adventure bike, the rear mono-shock in Xpulse 200 is 10 step Rider-adjustable whereas in Xpulse 200T is 7 step adjustable. For Xtreme 200S, the mono-shock is linked to the rectangular swingarm.
Since Xpulse 200T and Xtreme 200S are built for tarmac they are equipped with 17-inch wheels shod by the same 100/80-R17 and 130/70-R17 tubeless tyres at front and rear respectively. On the other hand, Xpulse 200 has been designed to venture into beaten tracks (even though not hardcore trail bashing). Hence it is provided with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels shod by 90/90-R21 and 120/80-R18 tubed tyres respectively. More

2021 Yamaha MT15 Dual ABS Launch Soon – Gets Approval

Image – Dino’s VaultYamaha MT-15 rivals the likes of KTM 125 Duke, Pulsar NS160 and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V
Aiming to improve safety, Yamaha will be introducing dual-channel ABS for MT-15. The current model is offered with single-channel ABS. This move appears to be based on market feedback.
At the time of MT-15’s launch in 2019, enthusiasts had reported the lack of dual-channel ABS and aluminium swingarm. With the latest update, the safety issue will be resolved. In future iterations, Yamaha could also introduce aluminium swingarm for MT-15.
    Yamaha MT-15 dual-channel ABS price
With the update, MT-15 will be available at a starting price of Rs 1.43 lakh. The current model starts at Rs 1.42 lakh for standard colour variants. For customized body colour and wheel colour, prices start at Rs 1.45 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
The standard colour options include Metallic Black, Dark Matt Blue and Ice Fluo-Vermillion. For users choosing CYW (Customize Your Warrior) platform, a total of 11 colour combinations are available. Wheel colour options under CYW include Vermillion, Gold, Racing Blue, and Neon Green.
Yamaha MT15 Dual ABS gets approval
It is expected that dual-channel ABS update will be introduced as a new variant. This will ensure that budget-conscious customers have the option to choose the existing single-channel ABS variant.

Kabira Hermes 75 Electric Scooter Launch Price 89,600 – 120 Kms Range

Kabira Hermes 75 Electric ScooterKabira Mobility Hermes 75 is a High-Speed Commercial Delivery E-Scooter approved under FAME II Subsidy
Kabira Mobility refers to Hermes 75 as ‘India’s First High-Speed Commercial Delivery E-Scooter’. This being the company’s most recent launch. 2021 has been an active year for the fairly new manufacturer with a spate of launches in quick succession.
Hermes 75 is available at a price of Rs.89,600 (Ex-showroom, Goa). While one can begin to familiarise themselves with the new product, it will be available at showrooms towards the end of Q1 FY22 in June 2021.
Kabira Mobility Hermes 75 is planned around ideologies of eco-friendly mobility solutions to last mile delivery partners. Depending on requirement, B2B users can choose between fixed and swappable battery options. Fixed battery offers a range of 100 kms and 120 kms, respectively. Swappable battery should go for 80 kms in standard conditions.
    Hermes 75 ride range
Hermes 75 is powered by a 60V40AH Li-ion battery with fast charging of 4 hours. Ride range is pegged at 120 kms on a single charge. Hermes 75’s 2500W DeltaEV hub motor generates peak power of 4000W. Maximum speed is pegged at 80 kms. According to the EV company this is the fastest electric commercial 2-wheeler in India.
    Kabira Hermes 75 Electric Scooter
The two-wheeler is designed to meet Indian conditions and rugged usage that last-mile delivery vehicles are put through. Currently, this is an approach that appears to be dominating the segment. Considering most big business e-commerce platforms are committed to carbon neutrality requirements, shifting to an organised sector of electric scooters and small cargo LCVs is the current dominating business trend.
    FAME II Subsidy
E-commerce and delivery businesses have rapidly grown in terms of business volume in recent years. This has widened employment opportunities. But by and large such duties are being met on personal vehicles (scooters and two-wheelers). The right and organised solution would be large scale adaption of electric vehicles for such business use.
Hermes 75 depends on 12″ tyres for high ground clearance. Features include Dual Disc Synchronised Breaking System, Swappable Battery, Digital Dashboard, Mobile App, and IoT. It’s also the first commercial delivery E2W approved under FAME II Subsidy.

With the launch of Hermes 75, we intend to reach out to the last mile delivery partners and provide them eco-friendly mobility solutions.
