2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 New Gen Spied For First Time

New-gen Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is expected to be launched sometime early next year2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 New GenRoyal Enfield is currently in a transition phase where it is updating older models for new ones. While Meteor 350 came in to replace the Thunderbird range at the end of 2020, the new-gen Classic replaced the older generation model last year. Both new models are based on a 350cc platform that utilises a new J-series engine.Soon this new platform and engine combination will also be seen in the upcoming Hunter 350 as well has been spied frequently during its testing phase. Another motorcycle that will be employing this combo will be the new-gen Bullet 350 and a test mule of the same has been spotted for the time.2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 New Gen SpiedDevelopment of the new-gen Bullet has been in the news very often but until now there has been no proof of it. The latest spy spics are the first confirmation about the bike’s development. On seeing recent spy shots, one can immediately notice various differences in detail when compared to the existing Bullet 350. The biggest highlight is a double-cradle frame holding the engine as a stressed member, unlike the current model which features a single downtube frame.2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 New GenConstruction and casing of the engine are similar to Meteor and new-gen Classic with a new-gen J-series engine taking over from the outgoing UCE (unified construction engine) unit. Other than this there are some subtle yet significant visual updates.2023 Bullet 350 – Visual HighlightsFor instance, the testing prototype is seen with a new headlamp and taillamp which is starkly similar to Classic Reborn. It gets a new headlamp encasing as well which is embellished in chrome. It gets a brand new single-piece seat although the padding seems similar to the split-style seats in the new Classic. Front and rear fenders will also be different units from their predecessor.Speaking of the seat, the rider saddle gets a nice kink which should be proper lumbar support to the rider’s tailbone. New-gen Bullet gets a similar handlebar which is taller and more pulled towards the rider than the one in Classic Reborn. In addition, it features circular rearview mirrors also dipped in chrome.2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 New GenIt will be interesting to see if Royal Enfield offers a kick start with the new-gen Bullet 350 since many purists love the feel of a kick start. Majority of Bullet buyers are such purists, however, the new J series engine in Meteor and Classic doesn’t come with a kick start. More details are expected to surface in coming months.New Gen Bullet 350 – Expected SpecsPowering the new Royal Enfield Bullet will be a 349cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that kicks out 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque. This motor will be paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Suspension duties will be handled by conventional telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at rear. Braking will be taken care of by a disc brake at front and a drum brake at rear while being aided by a single-channel ABS. More

With Ola registering strong sales, the ‘OATS for breakfast’ diet doesn’t seem to have turned out a healthy choice after allOla Electric Scooter S1 PROOwing to high fuel prices, an increasing number of users are shifting to electric two-wheelers. February sales numbers clearly demonstrate that trend, with combined YoY growth of Ola, iQube, Ather and Chetak rising by 672.65%. As compared to 1,203 units sold in February last year, sales were at 9,295 units in February 2022. MoM growth is also positive at 38.24%, as compared to 6,724 units sold in January 2022.Electric Scooter Sales Feb 2022 – Ola leadsWhile Ola Electric had to face multiple issues since it began deliveries last year, things appear to have been streamlined now. The company has reported sales of 3,905 units in February. Percentage share in sales among these four scooters is at 42.01%. MoM growth has improved by an impressive 254.36%, as compared to 1,102 units sold in January 2022.According to Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, sales in February were actually higher than reported. The company has a fully online model of sales and distribution and there is a significant number of temp registrations. Currently, the Vahan portal is not programmed to count these. Bhavish has also stated that Ola scooter sales will be around 15K in March, making it the top electric two-wheeler manufacturer in the country. At number two in the list is TVS iQube, which continues to be a consistent performer. Sales were at 2,238 units in February 2022. YoY growth has increased by a whopping 1,002.46%, as compared to 203 units sold in February last year. This is the highest in the group in percentage terms. Share in sales is at 24.08%. MoM growth is up by 46.37%, as compared to 1,529 units sold in January 2022.Electric Scooter Sales Feb 2022 – Ola vs Chetak vs Ather vs iQubeAther, Chetak report negative MoM growthAt number three is Ather with sales of 2,042 units in February 2022. YoY growth is up by 140.24%, as compared to 850 units sold in February last year. Percentage share is 21.97%. MoM growth is down by -27.72%, as compared to 2,825 units sold in January 2022.Bajaj Chetak has reported sales of 1,110 units in February 2022. YoY growth is 640.00%, as compared to 150 units sold in February last year. Share in sales is at 11.94%. Chetak MoM sales are down by -12.46%, as compared to 1,268 units sold in January 2022.While there could be multiple factors at play, these numbers do provide some clues as to why Ola and iQube are ahead. One key factor could be the affordable pricing of these two scooters, relative to Ather and Chetak. Ola has the additional advantage of operating a fully online sales and service platform. As compared to other EV manufacturers that work through dealerships, Ola can deliver its scooters to any part of India. As such, its sales are not dependent on the number of dealerships, which is the case with other OEMs. It remains to be seen if Ola’s new system can sustain itself when its customer base reaches a sizeable level. In keeping up with tech trends, the company has revitalized the top end variant. Intent on adding value to its existing lineup, TVS Jupiter ZX variant now benefits from SmartXonnect. Here is a first look walkaround video credit to The Garage Official.New TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect – WalkaroundWith convenience being what we’re all after, Bluetooth enabled commands are rapidly becoming mainstream. Tech dependency is the order of the day, and since such conveniences have pervaded almost all aspects of personal life, it’s only normal to expect the same convenience from our vehicles. With interactive voice assist, TVS Jupiter ZX users can interact with the scooter. Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS Modified To Look Like Ducati For Rs 1 Lakh

Ducati’s flagship superbike Panigale V4 2021 BS6 model was launched last year in June at a starting price of Rs 23.50 lakhBajaj Pulsar 200 RS ModifiedWhile Panigale V4 easily makes it to the wish list of most biking enthusiasts, its high pricing remains a challenge. Panigale V4S variant is even costlier at more than Rs 28 lakh. As an alternative, a bike modifier has come up with a mini version of Ducati Panigale V4. Based on Bajaj Pulsar RS200, the mini Ducati gets a range of visual and functional updates.Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS Modified DucatiA significant percentage of stock fairing has been replaced with customized panels. Some key features include dual headlamps, blacked-out windscreen, underbelly exhaust and rising tail section. For a true track-ready profile, various parts have been removed such as rear-view mirrors, rear tyre hugger and tail section. Some components have been retained in their original form such as fuel tank. Visually, the modified bike closely resembles the Panigale V4. Things like front fender, headlamp cowl, side panels and seat design are quite similar to that of Panigale V4. Take a look at the detailed walkaround video below by V3 Valtor.[embedded content][embedded content]Graphics used on the modified Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS are more pronounced, as compared to the stock Panigale V4. For example, ‘Panigale’ in bold lettering covers a large section of the fuel tank and side panels. It is done in a light grey shade, which creates an exciting contrast against the blue-black core theme.Just below is ‘V4’ lettering in black shade. ‘Ducati’ lettering in bold can be seen towards the lower section of side fairing. While Panigale V4 is offered in dual-tone colour option of red-black, modified RS200 mini Ducati gets a blue-black colour theme. This actually looks better than the original version.Modified RS200 has an aggressive riding stance with low-set, pulled-back handlebar and rearset foot pegs. It gets special racing tyres for optimal grip and minimal resistance. They are wider as compared to stock tyres offered with RS200. These updates highlight the bike’s capabilities in a track environment. Practically, it may be hard to manoeuvre in heavy traffic conditions.Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS ModifiedRS200 mini Ducati functional updatesWhile stock Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS has standard telescopic forks at front, modified mini Ducati gets a pressurized cartridge damping system. Ducati Panigale V4 is equipped with Ohlins NPX 25/30 electronically controlled pressurized front forks. It is not certain if modified RS200 uses the same unit or another brand. At the rear, the bike has single-sided swingarm suspension. Braking system is the same as that used with stock RS200. While front has 300mm disc, rear wheels have a 230mm disc. Dual-channel ABS is offered as standard. There are unlikely to be any changes to the engine. Modified RS200 mini Ducati uses the stock 199.5 cc motor that generates 24.5 ps of max power at 9,750 rpm and 18.7 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. In comparison, Panigale V4 is powered by a 1,103cc engine that makes 218 ps and 123.6 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a quick shifter. More

2022 KTM Duke 790 Debuts With New Updates, Colour

Exact reason for re-introducing the original Scalpel is not known, but one of the factors could be the price difference between 390 Duke and 890 Duke2022 KTM Duke 790In a surprising move, KTM has relaunched 790 Duke in several international markets. It was originally launched in 2017 and had emerged as a popular choice in its segment. It was replaced by 890 Duke in 2021.KTM 790 Duke 2022 model is largely the same as earlier. The bike was fully loaded at the time of its original launch and much of the equipment is relevant even today. There are no major updates in terms of styling except a new grey-black colour option. This is in addition to the signature orange colour theme.KTM 790 Duke 2022 featuresThe bike retains its sporty profile with features such as aggressive LED headlamp with integrated LED DRL, sculpted fuel tank, low-set handlebar, step-up seat, under seat exhaust in stainless steel finish and compact tail section. The exhaust delivers an engaging throaty note, which enhances overall ride experience.2022 KTM Duke 790 has a full colour TFT instrument console that displays a range of information. The screen is a lot more interactive, as it changes colour with increase/decrease in throttle and other similar actions. The display automatically adjusts to ambient lighting, ensuring optimal visibility at all times.2022 KTM Duke 790Much of the original equipment list has been retained such as electronic riding aids, traction control, engine drag torque control, Supermoto mode and stability control with cornering ABS. The bike has driving modes of Sport, Street, Rain and Track. Features that are now offered as an option include cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, quickshifter+, track mode, engine slip control and phone and music connectivity.Powering the bike is the same 799cc engine as earlier. The LC8c in-line 2-cylinder, liquid cooled motor generates 105 bhp of max power and 87 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The only difference is that this engine now complies with Euro 5 emission norms. In Europe, a A2 specific 95 bhp variant will also be on offer. The powertrain is managed by an advanced ride-by-wire system, which significantly enhances ride dynamics. It eliminates issues like jerking, stuttering and unwanted wheelies. Coupled with its lightweight body, the bike offers improved fuel efficiency.2022 KTM Duke 790KTM 790 Duke 2022 India launchIt is not certain if KTM will reintroduce 790 Duke in the Indian market. It was available here earlier, but discontinued due to stricter BS6 emission norms in 2020. The relaunched model is now Euro 5 compliant, which is almost the same as BS6. The bike was imported in India as CKD and last known price was Rs 8.64 lakh (ex-showroom).KTM also has the option to launch 890 Duke here in India. It remains to be seen which approach the company chooses. If KTM wants to go after the popular Triumph Trident, 2022 790 Duke could be positioned as a formidable rival. However, pricing has to be competitive, somewhere around Rs 7.5 lakh to make it work. More
