KTM has updated the 390 Adventure for 2022 model year with new colour schemes, tougher wheels and 2 riding modes for an increment of Rs. 6,500 over the old model.Old KTM 390 Adventure – Riding Modes390 Adventure came with two riding modes namely Street and Off-Road mode on the 2022 update. These riding modes helped 390 Adventure customers to set the traction control system in two settings based on the terrain they were in. Now, KTM has offered these riding modes for the older model 390 Adventure as well.KTM intends to add riding modes offered with 2022 390 Adventure, on the old model too. Royal Enfield Himalayan Two New Colours – Glacial Blue, Dune Brown

Royal Enfield Himalayan gets 2 additional colours from the company’s previous colour paletteRoyal Enfield Himalayan – New ColoursRoyal Enfield takes credit for properly rejuvenating the adventure-tourer motorcycle genre for the masses. Okay, we had Impulse from Hero MotoCorp before Himalayan. But we never fully appreciated Impulse’s brilliance until it was discontinued. Enthusiasts went overboard and actually swapped its 155cc engine with Karizma’s 223cc engines and called it Karipulse. It was not an actual thing from Hero, but it became a thing even though it wasn’t road legal. We’ll save our rant on the Government’s modification laws for vehicles in India for another day. But two manufacturers seemed to take notice of the Karipulse. They were Royal Enfield and Hero themselves. With the launch of Himalayan, Royal Enfield beat Hero MotoCorp to the finish line of launching an adventure tourer by three years. It was launched in 2016. In BS3 guise, Himalayan was a purpose-built motorcycle designed to take on the, well, Himalayan Range. If they wanted to take on Western Ghats, they would have named it Western Ghats. But Royal Enfield is also developing a bigger and more sophisticated 450cc Himalayan and in the meantime, to keep the aging product fresh, Himalayan 411 gets two more colours to spice things up.Royal Enfield Himalayan Two New ColoursRoyal Enfield has introduced two new colour schemes for Himalayan. These new colours don’t resemble any of the colours Himalayan got before. They stand out like they were intended to. One of the colours resembles the dark pastel yellow colour that Royal Enfield Classic range of motorcycles used to get. It was a special edition on Classic 500 in particular which is now discontinued, and was dubbed as Desert Storm. On Classic 350 that is currently on sale, it is called Single Desert Sand. On the Himalayan, it is called Dune Brown.2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan Dune Brown ColourBut unlike a monotone finish on Classic 500 Desert Storm, the way it has been implemented on Himalayan is very similar to Pine Green shade. The front beak, sides of the fuel tank and side body panels covering toolbox and air box, get an irregular camouflage pattern. This makes it look a lot more interesting than Desert Storm shade on Classic 500 and Single Desert Sand on Classic 350.The other colour Himalayan gets is similar to Lagoon Blue colour shade that was offered with the Classic 350 and Classic 500. This new Himalayan colour is called Glacial Blue. Unlike the other shade with patterns, it is a single colour offering without any patterns to spruce things up. Front beak, fuel tank and side body panels get this mono-coloyr shade. Both these new colours are inspired by the extreme yet picturesque elements of nature.Himalayan New Colours PriceHimalayan currently gets 9 colour options and the new colours add a tasteful variety to the list. These new colours were revealed at the 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey, which was flagged from Delhi earlier today. Images are credited to participants @manavsinha, @kochimachan and @turbochargedmag.In terms of purpose-built hardcore off-roaders, Royal Enfield Himalayan only competes with Hero Xpulse 200. But adhering to genre and pricing, it competes with KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS and the likes. Speaking of G 310 GS, it recently got new colour schemes that might interest you. More

    2023 BMW G 310 R, G 310 GS Updated With New Colour Options

With the G 310 series of motorcycles, BMW targets young and first-time bike buyers at a lower price point2023 BMW G 310 R, G 310 GS – New ColoursBMW Motorrad, BMW’s motorcycle division has been one of the pinnacles in motorcycle engineering and design. The German motorcycle manufacturer has retro legacy motorcycles like R nineT, off-roaders under GS series, corner-carving track machines under RR, XR and S series, sport-tourers under K series, maxi scooters under C series and more. You name it, they have it.What about budget entry-level motorcycles? Well, they’ve got that covered too. To expand their motorcycle envelope and cater to a wider range of audiences across a wider price spectrum, BMW partnered up with TVS Motors. Together, they developed a potent 313cc single-cylinder engine and platform on which both manufacturers have based their motorcycles. 2 such motorcycles by BMW are G 310 R and G 310 GS. They will launch a new one later this month called G 310 RR, more on that later.2023 BMW G 310 R New ColoursKicking things off with the street naked G 310 R, it used to come with two shades namely, Cyanite Blue Metallic and Limestone Metallic. But the German motorcycle manufacturer has discontinued both these colour options. Replacing the Cyanite Blue Metallic, we have Passion Racing Red. And replacing Limestone Metallic, we have Sport Polar White / Racing Blue Metallic.Red comes off as the more striking of the two. It gets a red trellis frame, mostly red fuel tank, red front mudguard and red wheels. BMW has added a touch of white to the headlight cowl and ‘R’ livery on the fuel tank. It gets a blacked-out engine bay, engine guard and gets the typical BMW gold front forks. Sport Polar White / Racing Blue Metallic is the subtler of the two. It also gets a red trellis frame and red wheels. But the splash of red on Passion Racing Red is replaced by white and the white on that model is replaced with metallic blue. The R livery is finished in red though.2023 BMW G 310 R New Colour LaunchBMW G 310 GS New Paint SchemesBMW has added a new version of its G 310 GS namely Basic Cosimic Black 3 in place of Polar White that it used to get before. It is the subtlest of the 3 new colour shades BMW G 310 GS received. It has a black trellis frame, a gloss black finish on top of the fuel tank and top of the fairing, and black wheels. Basically, everything else is black too except for the silver finish on the rear subframe body panels and fairing extensions covering the gold front USD forks.2023 BMW G 310 GS New Colour LaunchSport Polar White / Racing Blue Metallic is another style and it replaces the Triple Black option. It gets a trellis frame finished in red, top of the tank and fairing is now blue with the rest of the tank finished in white. Other elements remain similar to Basic Cosimic Black 3.Replacing Cyanite Blue Metallic is Rallye Kalamata Metallic Matt. It also gets a red trellis frame, but the top of the fuel tank and fairing now gets a dark golden shade that looks very subtle. Rest of the fuel tank is finished in matt black.2023 BMW G 310 GS New Colour LaunchWith the new style variations, BMW hopes to captivate more customers and attract them to BMW’s elite motorcycle club (not a real club). BMW G 310 R is priced at Rs. 2.64 lakh (ex-sh) and competes with the likes of Honda CB300, KTM 390 Duke and the likes. BMW G 310 GS is priced at Rs. 3.05 lakh (ex-sh) and competes with KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan and the likes.
