Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc Cruiser Exhaust Sound – New Spy Video

While 650 twins have an athletic profile, Super Meteor 650 is all bulked up for an impressive street presenceUpcoming Royal Enfield 650cc Cruiser – Super Meteor or Thunderbird 650As rivals like Honda, Jawa and Yezdi attempt to challenge Royal Enfield’s supremacy, the company is working to strengthen its portfolio. An average of one product every quarter has been planned for launch over the next five years. This approach will also help cater to larger segment of users with varying tastes and preferences. While 350cc motorcycles like Classic, Meteor and Bullet will continue to be the primary volume generators, Royal Enfield will also be focusing on 650cc segment. One of the new offerings in this space will be the Super Meteor 650 cruiser. It could also be referred to as Thunderbird 650. Royal Enfield is working on Shotgun 650 as well, which is expected to be launched in early 2023.Super Meteor 650 – New Spy ShotsDesigned to dwarf most other bikes on the streets, Super Meteor 650 commands respect and attention with its sheer size. It has a curvy, retro profile with features such as round headlamp and rear view mirrors, tear-drop fuel tank, extra-large rear mudguard and wide rear tyre. The bike gets a horizontally placed exhaust note in chrome finish.Twin pod instrument console looks similar to that of Meteor 350. The larger pod on the left has an analogue dial along with a digital screen in the centre. The smaller pod on the right is likely to be a Tripper navigation system. Below is the latest spy video of the upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser, credit to Inigo M Sabastian. It also captures the exhaust sound of the Super Meteor 650.[embedded content][embedded content]While the bike has large proportions, the scooped-up seat will ensure easy handling even for shorter riders. Seat height can be expected to be close to that of 650 twins. Rider seat section looks wide and snug, but the relatively narrow pillion seat may not be that comfortable. This is especially true in case of longer journeys. Rider fatigue is expected to be minimal with ergonomically placed handlebar and forward-set foot pegs.Super Meteor 650 specsWhile 650 twins have standard telescopic forks, Super Meteor 650 gets USD forks at front. At the rear, the bike has twin shock absorbers. Braking setup comprises disc brakes at both ends, integrated with ByBre callipers and dual-channel ABS. While this test mule has been spotted with alloy wheels, it is possible that wire-spoke wheels may also be offered at the time of launch. The test mule can be seen with road-biased tyres.Powering Super Meteor 650 will be the 648cc parallel-twin, air-oil-cooled motor that does duty on 650 twins. It generates 47.5 PS of max power and 52 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed constant-mesh transmission. In comparison to Interceptor and Continental GT that are available at a starting price of around Rs 2.90 lakh and Rs 3.05 lakh respectively, Super Meteor 650 could be launched at a price of Rs 3.50 lakh. This will make it the costliest RE bike. But it will still be affordable in comparison to 650cc bikes offered by other brands. Next month, RE is getting ready to launch Hunter 350. More

Bajaj Pulsar 250 Vs TVS Ronin 225 Vs Bajaj Dominar 250 – Specs, Prices

TVS Ronin offers a unique mix of motorcycle genres without adhering to stereotypesNew TVS RoninTVS has launched the Ronin in India. It was speculated earlier that it would be named Zeppelin or Retron as hinted by TVS’ word puzzle. But TVS used the one name that was actually not in the word puzzle, good job TVS. It is a scrambler-style motorcycle with a mix of multiple motorcycle genres fused into one bike. But, where does it fit in? What should we compare it to? Ronin is trying too hard to be the Jack of all trades. But looking at Ronin, it seems to be the master of none. It could have been a lot of things. A proper cruiser that brought this dying segment back to life, an ADV that everyone wants or even a street bike or a proper scrambler. But in pursuit of uniqueness, we’re afraid that TVS Ronin might come off as ‘devoid of character’.Bajaj Pulsar 250 Vs TVS Ronin 225 Vs Bajaj Dominar 250In terms of pricing, it falls around Bajaj’s popular Pulsar F250 and N250. It also coincides with Bajaj Dominar 250. Both Pulsar F250 and N250 are powered by a 249cc single-cylinder engine with 2V making 24.1 bhp at 8750 RPM and 21.5 Nm at 6500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox just like Ronin but is more powerful and has more torque too.Bajaj Pulsar 250 Vs TVS Ronin 225 Vs Bajaj Dominar 250If we bring Dominar’s KTM derived 248.8cc engine into the picture, it is far more potent than TVS Ronin. This single-cylinder engine with 4V makes 26.63 bhp at 8500 RPM and 23.5 Nm at 6500 RPM and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. What Can We Expect? In Ronin’s keynote, TVS stressed how low-speed rideability and low-end torque were paramount in the development. The torque figures reflect the same. Ronin makes 20 Nm of max torque at just 3750 RPM. It is almost half the speed where this engine is making its peak power. Bajaj Pulsar 250 makes its peak torque at 8750 RPM and Dominar 250 at 6500 RPM. So, TVS might have an Ace up its sleeves. All in all, for features it offers over the competition like adjustable levers, an integrated starter generator, 41mm USD forks, riding modes and turn-by-turn navigation, TVS Ronin appears to be pricey. At Rs. 1.70 lakh for Ronin TD, it could be dangerously close to the upcoming Royal Enfield’s Hunter 350.Looking at Ronin on paper, TVS would have been better-off with an ADV based on the potent Apache 200 4V. It would have been profitable too and would slot between Hero XPulse 200 4V and Suzuki V-Strom SX 250. Like Aston Martin created the Vulcan with most parts sourced from other cars in their portfolio. Royal Enfield Classic 350 Divine – Modified By Neev Motorcycles

Neev Motorcycles is a custom bike building company that works mostly on classic bikesRoyal Enfield Classic 350 DivineMost Indians have a soft spot for Royal Enfield motorcycles. Even though you may not want to own one, you definitely adore the way it looks. The brand evokes enough nostalgia in you that compels you to maybe want to own one someday. Royal Enfield is one of those things that you can’t really hate. Finding faults, sure. It has tons. But hate, Nah. I would pass and I know you would too.Royal Enfield has stood the test of time and is winning hearts across the globe. Royal Enfield has been eager to add value to their customers in terms of their RSA services that can be summoned through the Royal Enfield App too.As pretty as Royal Enfield bikes are, they can be worked on and made even prettier. One of the ways to achieve it is through custom motorcycles where truly bespoke machines can be filled with character and individuality. One such custom motorcycle is built by passionate custom bike builder Neev Motorcycles.Royal Enfield Classic 350 DivineRoyal Enfield approached Neev Motorcycles to build them a custom motorcycle based on a Classic 350. Neev had a different vision than what Royal Enfield was trying to achieve right out of the factory. Neev wanted it to be very shouty and attention-grabbing but in a classy and elegant way. And they have struck gold at the balance between the two.Royal Enfield Classic 350 DivineNeev went with a bobber-styled machine instead of a cruiser that the Classic 350 is. It had to have a custom swingarm to extend the wheelbase for the low-slung bobber look. They also incorporated balloon tyres on 16” spoked wheels with a ribbed tyre pattern instead of a cross pattern. It would have looked better with white-walled tyres but it certainly does look good without it too. To fit the bigger wheels, Neev also put a custom mudguard on it too.Royal Enfield Classic 350 DivineHardest part of this custom job according to Neev is the fuel tank. As it was hand crafted to perfection with swooping curves and interesting patterns. The whole motorcycle gets a matte black finish and cherry on top, is polished brass fittings across the bike which lends it a royal look.Royal Enfield Classic 350 DivineHandlebar holders, custom RE logo on fuel tank, handlebar grips, footpegs, side panels, sissy bar at the back, fuel filler caps and even the exhaust tip is made by intricately machining and detailing solid brass and polishing it to the max.Gold DetailingBrass radiates yellow light mimicking gold. But Neev wasn’t satisfied with just brass. They used real gold leaves to detail the patterns and pinstripes on the fuel tank. It also gets a custom stitched leather seat cover with custom seats. The headlights are now LEDs and on the road, it is sure to turn a ton of heads.Royal Enfield Classic 350 DivineThis custom project was done by Neev Motorcycles under Custom World initiative from Royal Enfield where popular bike modders like Neev Motorcycles, Rajputana Customs and the likes were asked to build and showcase a custom Classic 350. Divine is Neev Motorcycle’s initiative towards this initiative. More
