Keeway SR125 will get a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine making around 10 bhp and 9 NmKeeway 125cc SpiedWith an announcement of launching 8 2W vehicles in India, Keeway had a retro 125cc street bike in the works. We have seen the launch of Vieste 300, Sixties 300i scooters, K-Light 250V and V302C cruiser bikes and K300 R faired sports bike and K300 N naked, as well. That makes it 6. There is still wiggle room with 8 vehicles announced. One of those 8 offerings was supposed to be a retro 125cc street naked bike. Keeway has a 125cc retro street naked in the form of SR125. Now, we have spotted a Keeway SR125 alongside Sixties 300i at the showroom. So, is it an indication of a launch in the cards? Keeway or its sales partner AARI have not issued any statements regarding this development.Keeway 125cc Spied At Dealer ShowroomKeeway’s benefactor QJMotor has a slew of 125cc vehicles in the form of scooters and commuters at its home turf, China. With commuter motorcycles, this 125cc engine makes 7.5 kW equivalent to 10.05 bhp of power and 8.9 Nm. It is air-cooled and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. They usually weigh around 120 kg.Some of these motorcycles are QJ125(150)-26A, QJ125-9H, QJ125-16R, QJ125(150)-22T, QJ125(150)-26E, QJ125(200)-2G and more. If Keeway SR125 does launch in India, it is likely to don the same 125cc engine making around 10.05 bhp of power and weighing around the ballpark of 120 kg. The one we spotted, credit to TheClutchless, is a white colour model.Keeway 125cc SpiedIn terms of design, it is unlike any other 125cc commuters that we have in India. It has a very interesting design and looks like a culmination of a retro and a scrambler motorcycle. It gets a neatly designed fuel tank with knee recess, to grab onto, finished in white with Keeway badging. Rest of the bike is kept black including its engine bay to give it a sporty appeal.Keeway SR125 gets a round headlight and round blinkers along with a round instrument cluster. It is a fully-digital unit and the functionalities are still under wraps. The ribbed single-piece seat finished in brown, adds to the retro appeal. Adding more retro appeal is an old-school fuel filler cap finished in chrome.Specs & FeaturesSR125 gets telescopic front forks with fork gaiters. This along with dual-purpose tyres and black finished spoked wheels, give it a scrambler-ish vibe. Keeway has also offered functional features like a centre stand and engine kill switch. It can’t be said if the rear gets a disc or not. But, the front for sure gets one.Keeway SR125 gets dual shock absorbers at the rear. SR125 gets a 125cc engine that is likely to make around 10 bhp of power and around 9 Nm of torque and will be coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. Launch details are not yet revealed officially. However, if it does launch, it will be offered at a premium and definitely a lot more pricier than other budget 125cc commuters that we have today. It could take on the likes of KTM Duke 125 and Pulsar 125 in India.Source More

Yezdi Roadking 250cc Restored, Looks Stunning – Old Vs Modified

The motorcycle has a 250cc 2-stroke single-cylinder engine with an integrated gear shifter / kick starter and dual exhaustsYezdi Old To New ModificationThe logical successor of Yezdi Oilking, Roadking was or is one of the most iconic motorcycles India ever witnessed. It was produced by Ideal Jawa Ltd, based out of Mysuru, Karnataka. Yezdi Roadking was in production since 1978 and with low demand, production ended in 1996.Towards the end of its life cycle, Yezdi Roadking had secured a permanent spot in the heart of its owners. With the dawn of 4-stroke era, 2-stroke motorcycles saw their demise. New replaces old. But that doesn’t hold true for everyone. There are people who go to great lengths to restore the motorcycle that plays with their heartstrings. Let’s take a look at one such person that got his Yezdi Roadking restored with many efforts.Yezdi Roadking RestoredOwner of this restored motorcycle is a cousin of YouTuber Mundodi Vlogs. He explains all the hassles that were involved in this process. He further explains how availability of parts quality is extremely scarce as production stopped decades ago. This robs the joy of restoring such classics. He detailed the painstaking processes involving multiple tinkering and metalworking jobs. Most of its body parts had rusted. The part that took the most hit due to rust was its fuel tank. Take a look at the walkaround video of Yezdi Roadking restored below.[embedded content][embedded content]It adversely affected its carburetor and fueling as well. Before restoration, this bike was DOA as its electrical harness was feasted upon by rats. The rake of the steering has been reduced which reduced the overall length and wheelbase too.The brakes were completely jammed and both front and rear suspensions were not functioning. With everything sorted out, the parts were restored to their original condition. Yezdi Roadking restored looks like it came right out of the factory and is real eye candy for classic bike enthusiasts.Specs & FeaturesYezdi Roadking is based on a single cradle chassis with square tubing instead of round. This chassis was believed to be very balanced, stable and agile. It has a racing heritage to it too. Yezdi Roadking is based on CZ 250 which was ridden by Jaroslav Falta who secured runner-up spot in 1974 Motocross World Championship. This bike won several Indian road races and rallies as well.Restored Yezdi RoadkingIt is powered by a 250cc 2-stroke single-cylinder engine with a dual exhaust setup. It was considered to be technologically advanced as it featured a semi-automatic clutch and Jawa / CZ’s trademark gear shifter / kick starter. Even with a 16L fuel tank, Yezdi Roadking only weighed 144 kg wet. Transmitting the engine’s power to the wheels is a 4-speed gearbox.Parts availability and good workmanship are what is dragging the restoration industry down. Parts of certain classic 2-stroke motorcycles are not readily available unlike Yamaha RX 100, which is still supported by the company. Speaking of RX 100, Yamaha has announced its comeback in the near future. Yezdi currently sells Roadster, Scrambler and Adventure. Do you think Classic Legends should revive the Roadking name? More

Royal Enfield Conti GT 865 As A Limited Edition Cerra GT 865

Cerra GT 865 gets a fully faired body like a sports bike that is entirely made up of resin-infused carbon fibreRoyal Enfield Conti GT 865Royal Enfield and racing don’t seldom go hand-in-hand. This is 2022 and the times have changed. Certainly for Royal Enfield, at least. Royal Enfield was rarely associated with performance or lap-times or corner carving. With its 650cc platform, Royal Enfield has opened a portal to what feels like a parallel universe. We say this because 650cc platform comes at an affordable price point and offers decent performance despite its weight. Continental GT 650 is sportier than Interceptor 650. That’s not the extent of sportiness that the GT 650 can achieve. We have seen the GT-R 650 that races at Continental GT Cup. Now, Skunk Machine has come up with their version of this bike. Named Cerra GT 865, this motorcycle is limited to just 25 units. It comes with a fully faired body that is made entirely of resin-infused carbon fibre. Tempted? Let’s take a look.Royal Enfield Conti GT 865 – Cerra GT 865 By Skunk MachineContinental GT 650 is a sporty Cafe Racer motorcycle with a lot of character. Spiritual successor to Royal Enfield Continental GT 535, GT 650 is a far more likeable machine. Cerra GT 865 is built by Carl Cerra from Skunk Machine, a custom modder based in Greensborough Melbourne, Australia.Custom SC Project Slip On ExhaustThis custom motorcycle is only limited to 25 units. Carl Cerra has stuck to a minimalist approach toward this motorcycle. Mechanically, the motorcycle is now enhanced to displace 865cc. It gets dual slip-on exhaust from SC Project along with custom headers. Not just that, the throttle body is now 40mm and with exposed air intake, we can expect this motorcycle to make a lot more power than 47.65 PS of the stock bike. With more oomph, there should be more stopping power as well. Skunk has equipped Cerra GT 865 with a dual disc setup at the front. With Brembo calipers, stopping power is given a boost. Front end is completely custom with front USD forks from a 2015 model GSX-R600. Wheels are still of wire-spoke type. But the wheel size has gone down to 17” from 18”.The stock body panels are completely gone. Cerra has stuck with a stock fuel tank. The fairing covers the entire front of the motorcycle with a circular LED headlight and a Cerra GT 865 badging on top. The fairing is made of resin-infused carbon fibre which has been kept unpainted to reveal its intricate weave pattern.Royal Enfield Conti GT 865Specs & FeaturesRear section has been kept clean with just one panel. Single seat is optioned with a rear cowl. An LED light bar is placed below the cowl that doubles up as a tail-light and side-turn indicator. At the back, this custom motorcycle gets a fatter slick tyre that promises a lot of traction on the track. At the front, Cerra GT 865 gets bar-end LED side-turn indicators.Skunk Machine has equipped Cerra GT 865 with a modern smartphone-like instrument cluster that also doubles up as a dash-cam display with a camera neatly integrated. This allows users to record their track-day excursions from motorcycle’s POV. Pricing is not yet announced and the availability outside Australia is also not yet revealed. Royal Enfield Conti GT 865 production is limited to just 25 units. More

The bike’s pricing can limit its possibilities in India. Nonetheless, the bike will surely be a lot of fun to ride with its track-focused performance and advanced tech features.2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R continues with the same 249.8 cc, in-line four, liquid cooled motor. It generates 51 PS of max power and 22.9 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
