Royal Enfield Continental GT-R Will Debut The New 750cc Engine

    Royal Enfield Continental GT-R
India’s de-facto Classic motorcycle manufacturer, Royal Enfield, has been expanding its portfolio for quite some time. The company currently operates 4 powertrains – 350cc, 440cc, 450cc and 650cc. Now, there will be a fifth 750cc engine and it will debut on a Royal Enfield Continental GT-R faired Cafe Racer bike. Let’s take a closer look.
    Royal Enfield Continental GT-R
For some time, Royal Enfield has been working on a new engine that packed a greater displacement than its current 650cc engine. Test mules that were packing this new engine have been spied on multiple occasions. These test mules comprised multiple body styles – Interceptor, Himalayan and Continental GT.
    Royal Enfield Continental GT750 Spied
A recent report confirms the new 750cc engine under development at Royal Enfield stables. This new 750cc engine is internally codenamed ‘R’ and it is likely to be a big-bore version of the current 650cc parallel-twin oil-cooled engine. Royal Enfield has done big bore versions before and Continental GT 535 is a stark example.
The theme seems to be continuing as Continental GT-R will be the first Royal Enfield that will reportedly be the maiden vehicle to debut this new 750cc twin-cylinder engine. This motorcycle is under development and is internally codenamed R1E. Testing of this motorcycle has commenced and there have been test mule sightings as well.
Royal Enfield 750cc Faired Motorcycle Spied
We can expect this engine to make more power and more torque than the 47 bhp and 52.3 Nm seen on Continental GT 650. We can expect around 50 bhp to 55 bhp of peak power and around 60 Nm of peak torque from this motor. To counteract this increase in performance, Royal Enfield is offering a dual disc brake setup at the front for better stopping power.
    2025 Royal Enfield GT750 Render
    Design & Components
Rushlane’s render of Royal Enfield Continental GT-R based on these spy shots shows what we can expect it to look like when launched. It looks like it will be positioned on the same chassis as current Continental GT 650 on which Interceptor 650 and Interceptor Bear 650 are also positioned. Spy shots of this bike also showed alloy wheels compatible with tubeless tyres.
We can see a semi-fairing with a retro-style round headlight and a windshield. Suspension components include RSU telescopic front forks and twin-shockers at the rear. We hope there is a higher variant with USD forks on this machine. It could feature the same Tripper Dash as Bear 650 which features music control and Google Map integration.
Royal Enfield 750cc Faired Motorcycle Spied
The company is likely to debut this motorcycle by the end of this financial year. Probably at 2025 EICMA Show. Launch might happen by the end of 2026. Where pricing is concerned, Royal Enfield Continental GT-R might cross the Rs 4 lakh (Ex-sh) mark, owing to the improved components and higher performance.

2025 Jawa 42 FJ Spied Without Dual Exhaust

2025 Jawa 42 FJ Spied With Single ExhaustWith the updated exhaust setup, 2025 Jawa 42 FJ will be lighter, offering a higher power-to-weight ratio and more agile handling
In the competitive sub-middleweight motorcycle segment, unique features can help draw in enthusiasts. A relevant example is Jawa 42 FJ, which uses a dual exhaust setup. While single-cylinder bikes typically don’t require dual exhausts, having them enhances the retro feel. However, based on recent spy shots, it appears that Jawa may be going back to the standard single exhaust setup. Let’s look at the possibilities.
    2025 Jawa 42 FJ spied
As is evident from the image, the 2025 Jawa 42 FJ does not have an exhaust on the left side. On top of that, the single exhaust on the right side is not clearly visible. It is possible that the new 2025 Jawa 42 FJ could also get an underbelly exhaust. Due to the low-resolution image or possibly an optical illusion, it’s difficult to confirm the presence of a right-side exhaust.
2025 Jawa 42 FJ Spied With Single Exhaust
However, since Jawa 42 FJ leans heavily on retro styling, a single exhaust setup is more likely. The retro aesthetics are evident with the circular headlamp, classic teardrop fuel tank design, long exhaust pipe and broad rear fender. Moreover, all the popular 350cc bikes from rival brands utilize a single exhaust setup. Using an underbelly exhaust may actually alienate enthusiasts who prefer the retro look and feel.
    Single exhaust benefits
With a single exhaust setup, users can expect multiple benefits from 2025 Jawa 42 FJ. The bike will become lightweight, effectively enhancing agility and overall control and handling. Users will find it easier to navigate the bike through tight spaces such as heavy traffic and packed parking slots.
2025 Jawa 42 FJ Spied With Single Exhaust
With less weight, the power-to-weight ratio will also go up. Powering the bike is a 334cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that generates 29.17 PS and 29.62 Nm of torque. It is mated to a constant mesh 6-speed gearbox.
Since the dual-exhaust setup is largely a cosmetic feature, switching to a single exhaust can help reduce production costs. It is unlikely to result in any major tweaks to the powertrain components and other related parts. The existing Jawa 42 FJ dual-channel ABS variant is available at a starting price of Rs 2.15 lakh. Users can choose from a total of six colour options.
New Jawa 42 FJ Spied With Single Exhaust
    No other changes detected
Excluding the single-sided exhaust setup, there don’t appear to be any other changes in 2025 Jawa 42 FJ. The bike is a more stylized and powerful version of the standard Jawa 42. Some of the key features include a round LED headlamp, telescopic front forks, a single-piece seat, a split grab rail and an upswept exhaust. The bike uses a double cradle frame.
Both ends have disc brakes with ABS. Front and rear wheels are 18-inch and 17-inch, wrapped in 100/90 and 140/70 tyres, respectively. The wide tyres improve traction at high speeds and also work to enhance the bike’s visual appeal. Jawa 42 FJ has a seat height of 790 mm, which seems ideal for optimal control and handling.

    2025 Hero Glamour OBD-2B
Although engine tweaks have been performed to achieve OBD-2B compliance, there is no change in performance. Powering the bike is a 124.7 cc, air-cooled engine that generates 10.39 bhp and 10.4 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. Hero Glamour DRUM brake OBD-2B variant is priced at Rs 86,698. The OBD-2B DISC brake variant is available at a starting price of Rs 90,698.
2025 Hero Glamour 125 Techno Blu Met Blk
Here too, the prices of OBD-2B variants are Rs 2,000 more than the respective MY24 variants. Hero Glamour Drum brake variants (MY24 + OBD-2B) are available in four colour options – Gun Metal Black Silver, Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blu Met Blk and Black-Sports Red. The Disc variants have the same colours but miss out on the Black-Sports Red option.
2025 Hero Glamour 125 Black Metallic Silver
As compared to the Super Splendor XTEC, Hero Glamour has more stylized and eye-catching graphics on the fuel tank and side panels. Hero Glamour has features such as a fully digital instrument console, LED headlamp and real-time mileage indicator. However, the bike does not get Bluetooth like the Super Splendor XTEC. Excluding the OBD-2B update, there are no other changes to 2025 Hero Glamour. More

    2025 Bajaj Platina 110
The affordable budget commuter segment has been one-sided for a very long time in the favour of Hero MotoCorp’s Splendor range. However, Hero doesn’t operate in the 110cc segment, which is positioned between 100cc and 125cc. That’s where Bajaj’s Platina 110 comes into the scene and for MY25 version, it brings major updates along with it.
    2025 Bajaj Platina 110 Updated
For starters, there seems to be a new set of colours and the one seen in the video by Machine Rules shows a new colourway. Where black acts as the base colour and there’s a light green shade used for highlights and graphics. Same shade of green can also be seen in pinstriping done on alloy wheels.
In contrast, the MY24 Platina 110 was offered in three colourways with graphics – Ebony Black Blue, Ebony Black Red and Cocktail Wine Red – Orange. Apart from the colours, there are a few visual updates to 2025 Bajaj Platina 110 that distinguish it from MY24 model. MY25 version gets a chrome surround engulfing headlight that is absent in MY24 model.
2025 Bajaj Platina 110 Updated With Fuel Injector
Also, Bajaj Auto seems to have stopped offering the translucent knuckle guards on MY25 model or they may not be installed on this particular unit seen in this video. Other updates include the addition of a USB charging port, which is a welcome feature, and a few revisions around swingarm region. Seat cover, halogen headlights, LED DRLs and other components seem to be carried over.
    Fuel Injector replaces e-Carburettor
Main change can be seen in 2025 Platina 110’s engine. This engine will now be BS6 P2 OBD-2B emission standard compliant, which is mandated on all vehicles sold in India after April 1st, 2025. To achieve latest and more stringent emission standards, Bajaj has replaced the electronic carburettor with a fuel injector.

With this new fuel injector, we can expect changes in this motorcycle’s performance metrics and fuel efficiency. For context, the electronic carburettor model used to deliver around 8.5 bhp of peak power and 9.81 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Other than that, there are no other changes and even the fully analog instrument cluster has been carried over. More
