Top 10 2W Sales FY25 – Splendor, Activa, Pulsar, Jupiter, Access

Honda ActivaIndian 2W market is hailed as the largest in the world, witnessing more sales of motorcycles and scooters than any other nation. Operating in this segment is a matter of intense competition as the contenders are many and continually improving to boost sales. Analysing FY25 sales, we can see 1,34,28,817 units sold with a 9.02% YoY growth over 1,23,17,757 units sold in FY24 with a volume gain of 11,11,060 units.
    Top 10 2W Sales FY25
Like clockwork, Hero Splendor secured the top spot as the country’s best-selling 2W vehicle in FY25. Splendor sold a total of 33,98,449 units in FY25 and accounted for 26.05% of the sales within these ten entries. When compared to the 32,93,324 units sold in FY24, Splendor saw 6.23% YoY growth with 2,05,125 units in volume gain YoY.
In 2nd place, we have Honda’s formidable Activa scooter which has become India’s de facto scooter. Activa sold 25,20,520 units with a clear YoY growth of 11.8% as opposed to 22,54,537 units with a volume gain of 2,65,983 units YoY. Activa contributed 18.77% of the total sales within this list.
Also from Honda, we have the Shine commuter motorcycle range, which is the stark rival of Splendor. Shine sold 18,91,399 units in FY25, making it the 3rd highest-selling 2W vehicle with 27.54% YoY growth when compared to 14,82,957 units sold in FY24. This resulted in a volume gain of 4,08,442 units YoY and Shine accounted for 14.08% market share within this list.
    Top 10 2W Sales FY25
The first contender on this list to register a YoY drop in sales was Bajaj Pulsar in 4th place with 13,25,816 units sold and secured a 9.87% market share of this list. This was not sufficient to outperform Pulsar’s FY24 sales which stood at 14,10,974 units. This resulted in a 6.04% YoY decline in sales and 85,158 units lost in volume YoY.
    XL100 is India’s 8th best-selling 2W
In 5th place, we have TVS Jupiter with 11,07,285 units sold in FY25, up from 8,44,863 units in FY24. This results in a 31.06% YoY growth, which is the highest in this list. HF Deluxe was in 6th place in FY25 as it sold 9,71,119 units. However, it was not smooth sailing for HF Deluxe and it registered a 6.10% YoY decline, losing 63,059 units.
Suzuki Access took 7th place as it sold 7,27,458 units. The company launched 2025 Access some time ago and packs a much better appeal than before. Access registered 14.64% YoY growth, gaining 92,895 units in volume. In 8th place, we have TVS XL100 which sold 5,01,813 units, up from 4,81,803 units in FY24 with a 4.15% YoY growth.
In 9th and 10th place, we have TVS Apache with 4,46,218 units and Platina with 4,38,740 units respectively. Where Apache registered 18.02% YoY growth over 3,78,072 units in FY24 with 68,146 units volume growth, Platina sales fell by 12.69% when compared to 5,02,486 units from FY24 losing 63,746 units in volume. Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Electric First Ever Spy Shots – 2026 Launch?

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 ElectricWhile imbibing classic design elements, the Flying Flea C6 features advanced tech such as ride modes, traction control and OTA updates
Royal Enfield showcased its electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, at the EICMA 2024. The bike has now been spotted on road tests in India for the first time. It’s quite a spectacle in today’s age, with a design that echoes the original Flying Flea of the 1940s. Let’s take a closer look and spot some of the finer details.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 electric bike – Key highlights
One of the striking features is the forged aluminium girder forks at the front. This setup was widely used with several pre-1930s bikes. The original Flying Flea further improved the styling with the use of girder forks. Distinctive aesthetics and a unique riding experience are likely to be the highlights of Girder Forks.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Electric
Flying Flea C6 also gets an articulating mudguard. It has multiple benefits such as improved wheel clearance and enhanced protection from the elements. Other key highlights include a retro-style round headlamp along with round rearview mirrors and tail lamp, echoing the design of the yesteryears.
The full colour digital console follows the same format and displays a range of information such as battery level, speedometer and range. With Bluetooth connectivity, users will be able to access a range of connectivity features. The bike has ride modes, allowing users to choose sporty performance or prioritize range based on their needs.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 – Single Seat
Another distinctive feature is a backlit power button located on the faux fuel tank. Side panels have intelligently designed grooves that will channel air to enhance aerodynamics and ensure optimal cooling. These design elements ensure an eye-catching profile for the bike. Riding stance is quite comfortable with a wide, pulled-back handlebar and centrally positioned footpegs.
The recently spotted test vehicle can be seen with a removable pillion seat. The bike has alloy wheels in comparison to wire-spoke wheels used with the original Flying Flea. At the rear, the bike uses a mono-shock suspension. Wheels are likely 19-inch at both ends, wrapped in 90/90 tyres. Both ends have disc brakes and dual-channel ABS will be standard. The bike will also have cornering ABS, along with a switchable ABS function.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Electric
    Performance, range
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 will be using a mid-mounted permanent magnet electric motor, connected to a belt final drive. This setup ensures a smooth performance. While power and torque figures have not been revealed, the Flying Flea C6 performance could be comparable to a petrol-powered 250cc-300cc motorcycle.
Power will be supplied via a non-removable battery pack that supports fast charging. While range is not known, Royal Enfield’s Chief Growth Officer of Electric, Mario Alvisi, had earlier hinted at a range of around 200 km. This is likely to vary based on the variant. Flying Flea C6 is expected to get multiple battery pack options to capture a large segment of users. This will be based on the specific region. Flying Flea C6 will be a truly global product, targeting leading markets such as Europe and the United States.

2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 Reach Showrooms Before Launch – New Features

2025 Bajaj Dominar 400Earlier this year, spy shots of 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 surfaced on the internet. This is the first time Bajaj has offered a meaningful update to its flagship Dominar brand for a very long time. Now, we can see these units have reached dealerships ahead of launch, flaunting their newfound updates. Let’s take a closer look.
    2025 Bajaj Dominar 400
Marketed as a Power Cruiser, Bajaj Dominar 400 has been a great choice for motorcycling enthusiasts who craved a bike that can do the daily commutes and be able to stretch its legs on the highway. Many motorcycles can do these duties, but not with the same vigorous performance that Dominar 400 offers.
Even with the 2025 model, Dominar 400 continues to be offered in a sole variant with Touring accessories fitted as standard. This motorcycle still carries a functional windscreen, knuckle guards, a rear luggage rack and a pillion backrest. There don’t seem to be any changes in touring capabilities of this motorcycle.
Where we can see changes, are in the instrumentation department. Bajaj is offering an improved fully digital instrument cluster. This is the same unit that made its debut with Pulsar NS400Z, which incidentally, gets the same engine as Dominar 400. With this new cluster, Dominar now gets Bluetooth connectivity for the first time.
    2025 Bajaj Dominar 400
A second tell-tale cluster on its fuel tank has been eliminated completely and in its place, we now get a USB charger. To control this new instrument cluster, Bajaj has updated the switchgear as well, which also resembles the ones seen on Pulsar NS400Z. There’s a D-Pad on left switchgear that will be used to control this cluster.
    What else does it get?
Speculations suggest inclusion of ride-by-wire and ABS modes with 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400, similar to Pulsar NS400Z. We can expect some changes to the engine that will make it compliant with the latest and more stringent BS6 P2 OBD2B emission standards that came into effect from vehicles manufactured after April 1st, 2025.
    [embedded content]
Other than meeting newer emission standards, there shouldn’t be any dramatic changes to Dominar 400’s performance. The 373.3cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine will be capable of delivering around 39 bhp and 35 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Bajaj might add more colours and we can expect a slight price bump over the current model’s Rs 2.26 lakh (Ex-sh) price tag. More

2025 Yezdi Adventure Launch On 15th May – New Design, Colours

Yezdi Adventure (Current model for reference)Last year, Yezdi Adventure received extensive mechanical updates including a recently reworked Alpha2 engine and switchable ABS modes
In the fast-growing adventure-tourer segment, the Yezdi Adventure has emerged as one of the popular options. The bike is preferred for its robust performance, well-rounded features and accessible price point. To make it even better, Yezdi will introduce some more updates to the bike to be launched on May 15th, 2025.
2025 Yezdi Adventure Launch – What to expect?
Since the bike has already received significant performance-oriented updates last year, the focus this time around could be on visual enhancements. Some new colour options could be introduced. The bike can also benefit from sporty graphics, as seen with rival offerings. As of now, graphics and stickering are largely missing. Some may prefer this minimalist approach, but a significant percentage of users would also want a livelier profile for their bike.
Existing Yezdi Adventure has ‘Est. 69’ lettering on the tank brace and Yezdi logo on the fuel tank. Side panels get the ‘adventure’ badging. In comparison, rivals like Hero Xpulse 210, KTM 250 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 have a more dynamic look and feel. A lot more vibrant and captivating colours and graphics have been used. Colour options for Yezdi Adventure don’t seem to align with the bike’s proven capabilities in performance.
As of now, there are two Matte (Tornado Black, Magnite Maroon) and two Gloss (Wolf Grey, Glacier White) colour options available with Yezdi Adventure. None of these seem to match the intensity and perkiness of shades available with rival adventure bikes. Yezdi Adventure can probably deliver better results if some exciting, fun colourways are introduced.
    2024 Yezdi Adventure In Action
    Performance, specs
Mechanicals will remain largely unchanged since the bike was already updated extensively in 2024. Power is derived from a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that generates 29.60 PS and 29.80 Nm of torque. It is mated to a constant mesh, 6-speed gearbox.
The bike utilizes a double cradle frame with 41 mm telescopic front forks and rear mono shock absorber with linkage and 7-step adjustable preload. Front and rear have 21-inch and 17-inch wheels, wrapped in 90/90 and 130/80 tyres, respectively. Both ends have disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
    Pricing
As affordable pricing is one of the key USPs, updated Yezdi Adventure may continue with the existing prices. Or, the prices could be increased only slightly. Prices vary based on the colour selected. The Tornado Black and Magnite Maroon are available at Rs 2.10 lakh and Rs 2.13 lakh, respectively. Gloss colours, Wolf Grey and Glacier White are offered at a starting price of Rs 2.16 lakh and Rs 2.20 lakh, respectively.
    2024 Yezdi Adventure
In comparison, Hero Xpulse 210 starts at Rs 1.86 lakh. KTM 250 Adventure is available at a starting price of Rs 2.60 lakh. Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has plentiful colour choices, with prices of these variants in the range of Rs 2.85 lakh to Rs 2.98 lakh. More

2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Spied Ahead Of Launch – New Changes Walkaround

2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 SpiedHunter 350 is currently the third best selling Royal Enfield motorcycle with a market share of around 20%
Catering to riders who prefer a compact and agile machine, Royal Enfield launched the Hunter 350 in 2022. With its athletic build and sporty profile, Hunter 350 has emerged as one of the preferred options in the 350cc motorcycle segment. The fact that Hunter 350 is the most accessible Royal Enfield bike has also helped boost sales. To sustain the momentum, Royal Enfield will introduce the updated Hunter 350 on 26th April at the HunterHood festival.
2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Spied
This update brings several rider-focused improvements, both in terms of hardware and features, aimed at enhancing the bike’s appeal and addressing customer feedback. Ahead of launch, Motorcent channel has shared detailed walkaround video of the new 2025 Hunter.
2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Spied
One of the most significant updates can be seen in the rear suspension setup. The current Hunter 350 has been known for its relatively stiff ride, a result of its linear spring suspension. The new spy images reveal that Royal Enfield is switching to a progressive spring design at the rear. While this doesn’t automatically confirm a more plush ride, it shows that Royal Enfield is actively responding to customer concerns to improve comfort.
Another important update is the addition of an LED headlight — a feature now being standardized across Royal Enfield’s lineup. With this update, all RE bikes will feature LED headlights except for the Bullet 350.
2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Spied
    New colours, graphics
Another area that Royal Enfield has consistently focused on is to introduce new colour options for its motorcycles. For most Royal Enfield bikes, the number of colour options are usually higher than that available with respective rival offerings. This approach ensures that users can happily choose their favourite colour and don’t have to make compromises.
2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Spied
Colour options currently available with Hunter 350 include Factory Black, Dapper Green, Dapper White, Dapper Grey, Rebel Black, Rebel Blue and Rebel Red. Some updates to the graphics could also help achieve a fresh new look. Excluding the likely changes to the rear suspension, other hardware specifications will remain the same.
Launched as the most affordable Royal Enfield in 2022, the Hunter 350 has maintained its pricing strategy since launch, currently priced between Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom). However, with the latest feature and suspension upgrades, a price revision may be on the cards.

As Royal Enfield prepares for the official debut of the refreshed Hunter 350 later this week, all eyes will be on the brand to see if these changes elevate the ride quality and value proposition of one of its bestselling motorcycles. More

2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Launch At HunterHood Festival – Delhi and Mumbai

Royal Enfield Hunter 350Hunter 350 is currently the third best selling Royal Enfield motorcycle with a market share of around 20%
Let’s ascertain what all could be new with the updated Hunter 350.
2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 – What to expect?
Based on user feedback, one area for improvement is the suspension setup. Many Hunter 350 users have shared their experience about the bike’s stiff suspension setup at the rear. In its current form, the bike is equipped with twin tube emulsion shock absorbers with 6-step adjustable preload. A stiffer suspension ensures agile characteristics and quick manoeuvres, which is perfect for city conditions. However, a stiff suspension can also impact overall ride comfort, especially when negotiating rough patches.
    2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350
Other 350cc Royal Enfield bikes such as Classic 350 use a similar rear suspension, but the tuning is different. On the Classic 350, the rear suspension is tuned to prioritize comfort. This is in line with the bike’s retro-cruiser persona. A softer suspension adequately meets the needs of long rides and complements the bike’s relaxed riding ergonomics.
Effects of the stiff suspension used with Hunter 350 are amplified since the bike utilizes 17-inch wheels at both ends. In comparison, the Classic 350 comes with 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels. Hunter 350’s smaller wheels enhance agility. But combined with the stiffer suspension, overall riding comfort is impacted across rough surfaces.
    2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350
Royal Enfield is known to listen keenly to consumer feedback. As the stiff suspension of Hunter 350 has been highlighted by several users, the updated version could get a new rear suspension. Evidence to support this possibility also comes from an earlier test mule sighting, which was seen with a new rear suspension.
With the updates, Royal Enfield Hunter 350 could be offered at a slightly higher pricing. The base variant, Factory Black, is available at a starting price of 1.50 lakh. The Dapper variants are priced at Rs 1.70 lakh, whereas the Rebel variants have a price tag of Rs 1.75 lakh. More
