2024 Bajaj Pulsar N125With the launch of Pulsar N125, Bajaj has expanded its 125cc lineup, which is its best-selling category and is likely to boost sales further
Being among the country’s leading 2W and 3W vehicle manufacturers, Bajaj Auto, has been radicalising premium commuter and street motorcycle genre with Pulsar brand. Expanding the Pulsar lineup is the new Pulsar N125.
    Bajaj Pulsar N125 Launch
With the just-launched Pulsar N125, Bajaj aims to push the sales boundaries and position itself as the country’s best-selling 125cc motorcycle manufacturer. After launching Freedom 125 CNG, which is the world’s first CNG motorcycle, Bajaj came up with the biggest-ever Pulsar in the form of Pulsar NS400Z.
    2024 Bajaj Pulsar N125
Now, looking at the opposite end of displacement, we have the just-launched Pulsar N125, which is tasked to be the best-selling 125cc bike in India. 125cc Pulsars have been Bajaj’s best-selling category and the company is further expanding its lineup in this displacement class consisting of Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS125.
Pulsar N125 appears to be the sportiest of this trio, while Pulsar NS125 looks the bulkiest, owing to its larger proportions and higher weight. Design-wise, the Pulsar N125 emerges as a handsome machine. Sticking with its Pulsar family genes, Pulsar N125 gets an aggressive design. Muscular tank shrouds and edgy headlight design are stand-out elements.
    2024 Bajaj Pulsar N125
Also notable with Pulsar N125 is a sculpted fuel tank, split seat design, single-piece rear pillion grab rail, a chunky tyre hugger, among others. Like Freedom 125, Pulsar N125 also gets muscular covers on its RSU telescopic front forks, contributing to its macho appearance.
    2024 Bajaj Pulsar N125
Headlights are LEDs and they are vertically stacked. Rear tail lights are LEDs too and resemble other Pulsars. However, turn indicators are all halogen, unlike Hero Xtreme 125R. Looking at the motorcycle, one can see that the rider’s triangle is fairly upright, but with a slight lean on the handlebars.
    2024 Bajaj Pulsar N125
    Specs and Features
Where Powertrains are concerned, Bajaj has gone with a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder motor that is capable of kicking out 11.8 bhp of peak power and 11 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. These are similar numbers to what we saw with the Pulsar NS125, but Pulsar N125 weighs less, giving a better power-to-weight ratio.
    2024 Bajaj Pulsar N125
Componentry-wise, RSU telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, front disc brake option, box section swingarm, 17-inch alloy wheels with same design as Pulsar P150’s, among others. Features include a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and a USB charging port. Hero Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider 125 continue to be the primary rivals to Bajaj Pulsar N125.
In other news, Bajaj Auto share price suffered a massive decline of over 12% on the BSE, down by Rs 1,450, trading at Rs 10,170 currently. Analysts suggest due to the recent Q2 results announced for the FY 2024/25 period and the muted commentary for upcoming festive season.

New Bajaj Pulsar N125With its sporty profile and competitive pricing, Pulsar N125 can help acquire a larger market share in the 125cc motorcycle segment
Bajaj Pulsar currently ranks second in the 125cc space, with a market share of more than 20%. On offer are Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS125. To present something fresh in this space, Bajaj will soon launch the Pulsar N125. Ahead of launch tomorrow, first undisguised photos of the new Pulsar N125 have leaked online. Hat tip to automotive enthusiast Aditya Pandey for sharing these exclusive spy shots.
Bajaj Pulsar N125 – Key features
As there are already two 125cc Pulsar bikes, the upcoming Pulsar N125 will have to offer something special to get the attention of enthusiasts. Teasers reveal that the N125 is programmed to achieve that goal. Visually, Pulsar N125 has a striking presence, similar to other N series Pulsar bikes. A new purple colour was seen in the teasers, which appears quite enigmatic.
    New Bajaj Pulsar N125
Some more attractive colour options could be made available with Pulsar N125. Colour options for existing Pulsar 125 and NS125 appear relatively subdued in comparison to the energetic purple shade seen with Pulsar N125. The bike also gets sporty graphics and decals that further enhance the overall look and feel. Another highlight is the 3D Pulsar logo on the fuel tank.
A walkaround would reveal features such as sleek LED headlamp, sharp tank shrouds, sporty fuel tank design and polygonal rear-view mirrors. Pulsar N125 has an underbelly exhaust that ensures a smooth appearance for the side profile. The bike has a split seat design, short tail section, robust grab rails and rear tyre hugger. A slightly forward-leaning riding position is likely to resonate with the younger generation.
    New Bajaj Pulsar N125
    Pulsar N125 – Agile performance
Based on the teasers, it is evident that Pulsar N125 will be the most agile and manoeuvrable 125 cc Pulsar bike. It is designed to dominate the chaotic urban streets, often seen with heavy traffic. Terms like ‘daring’ used in the teasers clearly reveal the promise of entirely new experiences with a smaller-capacity Pulsar bike. Power will be supplied via a 125 cc, air cooled, single cylinder engine that generates 11.8 PS and 10.8 Nm. Users will have access to a 5-speed gearbox.
    New Bajaj Pulsar N125
In comparison, rival TVS Raider has a 124.8 cc air & oil cooled, single cylinder engine that delivers 11.38 PS and 11.2 Nm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Hero Xtreme 125R has a 124.7 cc engine, producing 11.4 PS and 10.5 Nm. It is offered with a 5-speed transmission.
Bajaj Pulsar N125 – New colour
Pulsar N125 Pricing – Diwali offers likely
Several of the Pulsar bikes are currently available with festive offers. In the 125cc segment, Pulsar 125 and NS125 are available with savings of up to Rs 8,000. It is possible that Bajaj could introduce a limited period special pricing for Pulsar N125. Ex-showroom price of Pulsar N125 is expected to be around Rs 95,000. However, users should be able to save more in case there are special offers. The most affordable is Pulsar 125, starting at Rs 92,883. Pulsar NS125 is available at a starting price of Rs 1,01,050. Ather Care Service Plans Starts From Rs 1,130 – Benefits Up To Rs 5,900

Ather Care Service PlansWith Ather Care Service Plans, the company is working on reducing the customer perception of having pricey after sales service
One of India’s leading electric mobility solutions provider, Ather Energy, recently announced the prices of their service plans. Called Ather Care, these service packs were leaked in August 2024 and were designed to address some of the customer woes relating to high after sales costs associated with Ather products.
    Ather Care Service Plans
Starting from Rs 1,130, Ather owners can opt for company’s official service plans. There are three plans on offer – Ather Care, Ather Care Plus and Ather Care Max. Among these three, Ather Care Max is the priciest at Rs 2,400 and offers the highest benefits for customers of up to Rs 5,900.
These service plans are designed to cater to both new owners in Ather Community along with Ather scooter owners who are transitioning out of the standard 3-year warranty. These plans aim to offer a peace of mind to buyers where after sales service is concerned. These service plans are valid for 1 year or 10,000 km, whichever is early.
Also, the company aims to reduce the financial expenses associated with periodic maintenance of an electric scooter. Ather Care service plans offer a few free periodic maintenance and discounts on replacements of wear-and-tear parts. Along with that, these plans offer value-added services like ExpressCare, washing and polishing.
Ather 450 Range : Image – Anubhav Chauhan
    Plans breakdown
Ather Care – Breaking up the plans, we have Ather Care at the affordable end that offers 2 free periodic maintenance. There is a 10% discount on wear and tear parts and labor for wear and tear replacements. Both once a year only.
Ather Care Plus – Next, we have Ather Care Plus which offers 2 free periodic maintenance, 1 free polishing and 1 free wash. There’s a 10% discount on wear and tear parts and a 15% discount on labor for wear and tear replacements, both redeemed twice a year.
Ather Care Max – Lastly, we have Ather Care Max with 2 free periodic maintenances, 2 free brakepad replacements, 2 free washes, 2 free ExpressCare services, 2 free polishings and free belt lubrication. There’s a 10% discount on wear and tear parts and a 15% discount on labor for wear and tear replacements, redeemed twice a year.
Ather 450S electric scooter service cost
    How do these plans help?
As an electric mobility solutions provider, Ather Energy is not usually associated with offering VFM products. When compared to rivals, Ather products have been priced at a premium and the company also bundles Pro Packs for added cost that will have all the highlight features, adding to overall costs.
Just like the pricing, Ather’s after sales service also had a bad reputation of being expensive. Some owners even demonstrated their ICE car’s and luxury electric car’s service costs were less than that of Ather scooter’s. The newly launched Ather Care Service plans may reduce these perceptions. Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle – What To Expect?

Royal Enfield Electric MotorcycleThe leaked patent design of Royal Enfield electric motorcycle reveal a few crucial details and sheds light on what to expect
One of the world’s most popular motorcycle manufacturer, Royal Enfield, has been expanding its portfolio rapidly. The company has multiple new vehicles planned based on their 350cc, 450cc and 650cc platforms. Now, the horizon is being widened further as the company just teased their upcoming EV.
This is the first time Royal Enfield is foraying into electric realm. Despite being uncharted waters, Royal Enfield seem like they’re confident to offer the combination of nostalgic design and peppy performance with their electric portfolio. Here’s everything you need to know about Royal Enfield’s upcoming electric motorcycles.
    Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Teaser
    Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle
The first image of an electric prototype from Royal Enfield surfaced at the fag end of 2022. Called Electrik 01, this concept has been making quite a buzz over the years. Fast forwarding to today, Royal Enfield has officially teased their upcoming electric motorcycle and is set to “land” or debut on 4th November, 2024.
But what exactly is Royal Enfield debuting on 4th November? Will it be a production-ready motorcycle? Or will it be a more evolved version of original concept? We would lean on the latter as Royal Enfield’s electric motorcycle has not been spied testing on public roads.
    Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle
The image of Royal Enfield Electrik 01 Concept seems to be leaked from an internal presentation. It shows Girder forks at the front along with skinny wheels and tyres. Overall design was still in Royal Enfield’s taste with an edge to being retro and classic. Even the colour combinations used, Green and Rose Gold, looks retro.
    Close-to-production design patent
While the first concept image of Royal Enfield Electrik 01 was seen a couple of years ago, The company has patented the bike’s design in India a couple of months ago. This design patent gave us a closer glimpse at Royal Enfield’s design approach and this patented version is what Royal Enfield is likely to debut on November 4th.
As seen from the design patent, it looks closer to production, when compared to what leaked images of Electrik 01 showed in 2022. To keep its appearance retro, Royal Enfield has used a unique frame design that engulfs the battery area, while still retaining a fuel-tank-like element. Front steering system doesn’t have conventional triple tree, as girder forks steal the show here.
Royal Enfield Electric Bike Design Patent Leaked
Wheels and tyres are skinny, probably to increase range on a single charge. Other notable elements include fancy swingarm, single-seat setup, small circular headlight and what looks like a mono-shock setup. While battery and motor details are not divulged yet, performance is likely to be similar to their 350cc motorcycles. More details will be divulged on 4th November. More

Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Debuts 4th Nov 2024 – First Teaser, Website Launched

Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle TeaserFor every ICE champion such as Royal Enfield, the EV segment throws up entirely new possibilities and challenges
Even as it dominates the middleweight segment, Royal Enfield is actively focused on developing its new range of electric motorcycles. The first of which will make its global debut at the EICMA 2024.
Royal Enfield Electric Website Launched – New Teasers
Royal Enfield has shared the first official teaser of their upcoming electric motorcycle with the caption – Save the Date (4th Nov, 2024). They have also launched a new instagram handle (@royalenfieldev) along with a new website section dedicated to their upcoming electric motorcycles (https://www.royalenfield.com/in/en/electric-vehicles/).
Royal Enfield Electric Bike Design Patent
The electric motorcycle from Royal Enfield is set to redefine urban commuting, combining the brand’s storied heritage with modern-day technology. As seen in the teaser, this new category of electric two-wheelers is designed to meet the demands of urban mobility, offering a seamless, connected, and agile riding experience. The debut marks Royal Enfield’s strategic move to embrace the future of electric mobility, all while preserving the brand’s essence that has captivated riders for over a century.
The company is not in a rush to launch its electric motorcycles. They are looking to develop truly unique products that can generate the desired interest among enthusiasts. One can expect launch in 2025. Just like the existing ICE range, there will be a multitude of Royal Enfield electric bikes to choose from in the future.
    Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric Testbed
Royal Enfield developing two new EV architectures
To ensure better outcomes, Royal Enfield is working on two distinct EV architectures. One of these platforms is being developed entirely in-house. The second platform is being developed in collaboration with a European startup named Stark Future.
As may be recalled, Royal Enfield had made a strategic investment in Stark Future in 2022. RE had purchased a 10.35% equity stake in the company, with the deal valued at €50 million (Rs 439 crore). The partnership covers collaborations in R&D, technical licensing, technology sharing and manufacturing.
Across both EV architectures, multiple new products are currently under development. One of these has already gone beyond the prototype stage. To manage costs and supply chain constraints, Royal Enfield will be sourcing components locally as far as possible. The company has already inked supply deals with 11-12 key EV vendors.
These partnerships go beyond the battery packs. Imports will be an option only where such parts may not be available locally. On the distribution front, Royal Enfield is thinking about various options. It is possible that the company may launch entirely new outlets for its EVs. Royal Enfield is also building a strong team to power its EV business. Recent hires include former Ducati veteran Mario Alvisi and ex-Ola Electric official Umesh Krishnappa.
Royal Enfield EVs won’t get the thump
While it is difficult to imagine Royal Enfield bikes without the signature thumping exhaust note, the EVs will be completely silent. RE is not even planning to use speakers, as it will feel like a fake experience. The thump with Royal Enfield ICE motorcycles is natural, linked to the bike’s rhythm. It is part of the bike’s haptic response system. Doing the same with an EV using a speaker will feel quite unreal. Even though Royal Enfield is working on its electric range, their ICE engines will continue for several decades. Petrol bikes are everyone’s favourite, and they will be in production as long as regulations allow. More
