Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS Modified To Look Like Ducati For Rs 1 Lakh

Ducati’s flagship superbike Panigale V4 2021 BS6 model was launched last year in June at a starting price of Rs 23.50 lakhBajaj Pulsar 200 RS ModifiedWhile Panigale V4 easily makes it to the wish list of most biking enthusiasts, its high pricing remains a challenge. Panigale V4S variant is even costlier at more than Rs 28 lakh. As an alternative, a bike modifier has come up with a mini version of Ducati Panigale V4. Based on Bajaj Pulsar RS200, the mini Ducati gets a range of visual and functional updates.Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS Modified DucatiA significant percentage of stock fairing has been replaced with customized panels. Some key features include dual headlamps, blacked-out windscreen, underbelly exhaust and rising tail section. For a true track-ready profile, various parts have been removed such as rear-view mirrors, rear tyre hugger and tail section. Some components have been retained in their original form such as fuel tank. Visually, the modified bike closely resembles the Panigale V4. Things like front fender, headlamp cowl, side panels and seat design are quite similar to that of Panigale V4. Take a look at the detailed walkaround video below by V3 Valtor.[embedded content][embedded content]Graphics used on the modified Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS are more pronounced, as compared to the stock Panigale V4. For example, ‘Panigale’ in bold lettering covers a large section of the fuel tank and side panels. It is done in a light grey shade, which creates an exciting contrast against the blue-black core theme.Just below is ‘V4’ lettering in black shade. ‘Ducati’ lettering in bold can be seen towards the lower section of side fairing. While Panigale V4 is offered in dual-tone colour option of red-black, modified RS200 mini Ducati gets a blue-black colour theme. This actually looks better than the original version.Modified RS200 has an aggressive riding stance with low-set, pulled-back handlebar and rearset foot pegs. It gets special racing tyres for optimal grip and minimal resistance. They are wider as compared to stock tyres offered with RS200. These updates highlight the bike’s capabilities in a track environment. Practically, it may be hard to manoeuvre in heavy traffic conditions.Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS ModifiedRS200 mini Ducati functional updatesWhile stock Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS has standard telescopic forks at front, modified mini Ducati gets a pressurized cartridge damping system. Ducati Panigale V4 is equipped with Ohlins NPX 25/30 electronically controlled pressurized front forks. It is not certain if modified RS200 uses the same unit or another brand. At the rear, the bike has single-sided swingarm suspension. Braking system is the same as that used with stock RS200. While front has 300mm disc, rear wheels have a 230mm disc. Dual-channel ABS is offered as standard. There are unlikely to be any changes to the engine. Modified RS200 mini Ducati uses the stock 199.5 cc motor that generates 24.5 ps of max power at 9,750 rpm and 18.7 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. In comparison, Panigale V4 is powered by a 1,103cc engine that makes 218 ps and 123.6 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a quick shifter. More

Bajaj Avenger 220 Modified Bobber Samsara – Inspired By Buddha

Bobber motorcycles are yet to make their presence felt on Indian streets; only a few such motorcycles currently available hereBajaj Avenger 220 Modified – Samsara By VP Designs, PuneBajaj has quite a few popular bikes in India and across the globe as well. However, its portfolio currently misses out on a bobber motorcycle. While there aren’t any indications that Bajaj is working on a bobber motorcycle, bike customization shop VP Designs has come up with an interesting bobber-styled makeover based on Avenger 220.Bajaj Avenger Modified – Inspired by BuddhaThis customization project is inspired by Buddha, an enlightened being that lived several hundreds of years earlier. The modified bike has been aptly named ‘Samsara’, which is all about the endless cycle of life, death and rebirth. The bike resonates with all things spiritual and has a powerful influence on everyone who catches a glimpse of this beauty. One of the most noticeable aspects of this modified Avenger 220 is its enchanting blue-black colour theme. It has a calming effect on the mind and exudes a sense of peace, tranquillity and wisdom. It’s also pretty close to having a hypnotic effect that’s difficult to shake off. Blue is probably the best option for this specific theme, as it is associated with things like meditation and transcendence.Bajaj Avenger 220 Modified – Samsara By VP Designs, PuneTalking about finer details, the fuel tank gets an intricate painting of Buddha. It depicts the sage in a deep state of meditation, something that highlights the bike’s spiritual inclinations. While turquoise blue is mostly used, there are other shades of blue as well for a more profound visual experience.Bajaj Avenger 220 Modified – Samsara By VP Designs, PuneEntire bike is done in matte finish, which perfectly suits the theme. Had it been a glossy finish, the bike would have lost much of its mystical beauty. Apart from the fuel tank, blue highlights have been used on the fenders, fender stays, headlamp, handle grips, side panels, wheels and foot rest. These are done subtly, in just the right spot and proportion. Inner layer of the exhaust tips also has a blue shade.Handmade and hand paintedThis project is marked by heavy customization, wherein much of the stock components have been replaced with handmade units. It includes the round headlamp, drag handlebar, handle grips, foot rest, gear shifter, seat, dual tipped exhaust and number plate mount. Single-pod instrument console is mounted on the right side. While the focus is on spirituality, the bike has sporty bits as well. These include LED headlamp with DRL, sharp LED blinkers and sporty exhaust design. The bike has USD forks at front, as compared to standard telescopic forks used with Avenger 220.Other things like engine and braking system are likely to have been retained in their stock form. Extending the theme to the rider, a helmet has been customized with the blue-black paint scheme. Matching riding gloves, boots, jacket, trousers are all that remain to be added. More

2022 Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS Red Colour Gets New Black Alloys

2022 Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS. Image – AUTOHOLIC MANISHIt is likely that Bajaj will replace white alloys with black ones for other bikes such as RS200 as well; NS160 already updatedManufacturers often introduce unique styling for their bikes to differentiate it from rival offerings. However, as the look and feel of a bike is a subjective matter, opinions vary based on users’ individual tastes and preferences. Auto companies do try to choose features that would appeal to majority of users. However, sometimes things may not work out as planned.2022 Pulsar 200 NS black alloysIn its current form, Pulsar bikes like NS200 and RS200 are offered with white alloys in specific colour variants. White alloys have their own charm and may actually be liked by enthusiasts. They come across as something fresh, especially in comparison to the standard black coloured ones used in most bikes. However, scope for coloured alloys depends a lot on the overall design and styling of the bike. For example, orange coloured wheels used for KTM 390 Duke work to enhance the bike’s visual appeal. There are various other examples where bikes have used coloured alloys such as golden, red, blue, etc.In case of Bajaj Pulsar NS200, white coloured alloys don’t seem to enhance the bike’s overall look and feel. They are actually increasing the clutter, which kind of takes away the focus from the bike’s sporty design. NS200 is a good-looking bike, but white coloured alloys don’t seem to fit there. It is certainly more noticeable, but not necessarily something that suits the bike’s overall profile.[embedded content][embedded content]It is possible that quite a few negative feedback about the white alloys may have prompted the company to shift to black alloys. NS200 is available in four colour options of Burnt Red, Metallic Pearl White, Satin Blue and Pewter Grey. Excluding the latter, all three colour options come with white alloys. Black alloys will do a much better job for all these three colour variants of NS200.Bajaj Motorcycle Prices March 2022Pulsar NS200 new priceBajaj Pulsar NS200 prices have been increased by up to Rs 2,000. However, this may be a general price hike coming from increase in input costs. It is not linked to the black alloys, as rest of the bike is same as earlier. New prices will vary based on the location. The current model is available at a starting price of Rs 1.36 lakh in Delhi (ex-showroom).Powering the bike is a 199.5cc, liquid cooled, triple spark motor that generates 24.5 ps of max power at 9,750 rpm and 18.5 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike has Perimeter frame with standard telescopic forks at front and Nitrox based monoshock unit at rear.NS200 has 17-inch wheels at both ends, shod with 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tubeless tyres. Fuel tank capacity is 12 litres whereas ground clearance is 168 mm. It has disc brakes at both ends with single channel ABS. More

Bajaj Pulsar 250 Blue Colour Launched – First Look Walkaround

Bajaj Pulsar 250 F Blue ColourMore colour options a bike has, the easier it becomes to satisfy varying user tastes and preferencesExpanding its Pulsar range, Bajaj had launched its biggest ever Pulsar motorcycles N250 and F250 last year in October. These were offered at introductory price of Rs 1.38 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh, respectively. Current colour options for Pulsar 250 are Racing Red and Techno Grey. Although both N250 and F250 have the same colour option, they have different graphics.Bajaj Pulsar 250 BlueA move likely based on market feedback, a new blue colour has been introduced for Pulsar F250. This shade of blue is slightly different from blue shades used on other Bajaj motorcycles. Bajaj offers blue colour option with several of its bikes such as Pulsar NS200, 220F, Pulsar 150, NS125, Platina 110ES and CT110.This new colour is a darker shade of blue, which comes across as sportier and more eye-catchy. It appears to have a stronger gravity that immediately gets your attention. Not only this shade of blue is different, but also covers proportionately larger surface area in comparison to that of other blue-coloured Bajaj bikes. The blue shade covers most of the front cowl, side fairing and fuel tank. It has also been applied on the front fender, engine cowl and rear tail section. Sporty graphics and stickering further enhance the bike’s visual appeal. Take a look at the detailed walkaround of new Pulsar 250 blue colour in the video below by Dino’s Vault.[embedded content][embedded content]The rest of the bike’s surfaces are in black, which creates an exciting contrast. Bronze shade on the engine adds another interesting dimension to the bike’s aesthetics. On other bikes, this blue shade may come across as gaudy. But on Pulsar F250, it works to compliment the bike’s stunning design and styling. This is truly for those with ‘have it flaunt it’ mindset. It is possible that this new blue shade can be introduced for Pulsar N250 as well. Both bikes have quite a few similarities, so the new blue shade can work for N250 also. We will have to wait for an official confirmation on this.No other updatesApart from the new colour option, everything else is the same as earlier. Pulsar 250 is powered by a 249.07 cc, single cylinder, 2 valve, SOHC, oil cooled motor that generates 24.5 ps of max power at 8,750 rpm and 21.5 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. It is mated to a constant mesh 5-speed gearbox.Bajaj Pulsar 250 F Blue ColourBraking duties are performed by disc brakes at both ends, integrated with single-channel ABS. Pulsar 250 has telescopic front forks and Nitrox monoshock suspension at rear. The bike runs on 17-inch wheels at both ends, shod with 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tubeless tyres. It is rumoured that Bajaj could launch a 500cc Pulsar in future. It will be powered by a new 490cc parallel-twin engine that is currently under development in collaboration with KTM. Bajaj has registered the ‘Twinner’ word mark, which has fuelled speculations about a 500cc Pulsar. More
