Bajaj Avenger Modified Custom Motorcycle Has Harley Davidson Vibes

Bajaj offers two variations of its cruiser bike in the form of Avenger Cruise 220 and Avenger Street 160Bajaj Avenger Modified MotorcycleNeev Motorcycles is a Delhi-based company that is known for making beautiful custom motorcycles that are usually based on a Royal Enfield. We have previously covered some of their work, most of which were based on a Royal Enfield. With a rather blank canvas, Royal Enfield are the preferred choice for modding jobs.Often regarded as ‘sasta Royal Enfield’ Bajaj Avenger is more cruiser than any Royal Enfield motorcycle till date, except for Super Meteor 650 which was launched yesterday. Bajaj Avenger sticks with textbook cruiser parameters and offers unrivaled comfort and ease of riding. Neev Motorcycles have done a recent job on a Bajaj Avenger and will leave you impressed.Bajaj Avenger Modified Custom MotorcycleAn eye-catching design along with a bobber style single seat layout makes Atom an attractive proposition. The entire motorcycle is finished in black and has a custom fuel tank with a centrally-mounted fuel cap. Harley Davidson vibes are clearly visible. There is an interesting pattern on top of the fuel tank finished in grey which resembles a Christian cross or Denmark’s flag. Regardless, it does look tasteful. There are custom fork covers, engine guards, auxiliary lights, and a beautifully finished quilted pattern seat cover.Bajaj Avenger Modified MotorcycleSome of the chassis is left exposed and there are new battery covers and air filter covers that are custom and don Atom branding which looks scientific, based on its design. Bajaj Avenger modified motorcycle gets new after-market LED turn indicators at the front and rear. These look very snazzy. An aftermarket exhaust grabs a lot of attention and dons a slip-on end can from SC Project.Bajaj Avenger Modified MotorcycleAt front, we now have a new LED headlight that is circular in shape just like stock Avenger. Neev has also installed an aftermarket instrument cluster which is fully digital, replacing the old analog one.Bajaj Avenger ATOM by NeevSwitchgear is retained from stock motorcycle, which aren’t of high quality. There are bar end mirrors which add a lot of swag. Bajaj offers 17” alloys at front and 15” at the rear with Avenger Street 160. Which are spoked wheels with Avenger Cruise 220. Neev Motorcycles has used the same alloy wheels that Bajaj offers, but switched.Bajaj Avenger Modified MotorcycleConfused? Neev Motorcycles has put the rear 15” wheel at front with a fat and high profile block pattern tyre which looks a lot more muscular than Bajaj could have ever achieved with its stock Avenger. The skinnier 17” alloy which was supposed to be at the front, is now at the rear. Weird choice, but it works beautifully to make Avenger look beefy and attractive, which it does.Bajaj Avenger 160 Street comes offered with a 160 cc single-cylinder engine that makes 14.79 bhp of power and 13.7 Nm of torque. Avenger Cruise 220 is offered with a 220 cc engine that makes 18.4 bhp of power and 17.55 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed gearbox.Source More

Under the skin, Bajaj Dominar 200 and Dominar 160 are rebranded Pulsar NS200 and NS160 respectivelyBajaj Dominar 160 and Dominar 200Bajaj Auto may not be among the top three highest-selling 2W brands in domestic market, as those spots are occupied by Hero MotoCorp, Honda and TVS. Where exports are concerned, there is no beating Bajaj as it is the highest-exported 2W brand from India. Even the second highest 2W exporter, TVS, is shipping almost half the volume of Bajaj.Latin America is one of the markets where Bajaj is currently active in a big way. There are new developments when it comes to Bajaj’s portfolio in Brazil. Bajaj has launched two new motorcycles that are very familiar to Indians, but with different names. They are Dominar 200 and Dominar 160.Bajaj Dominar 200 And Dominar 160These are not new motorcycles. Instead, these are essentially the same as Pulsar NS 200 and NS 160 that are on sale in India. These get almost similar componentry, except for the addition of USD front forks. In India, the Pulsar NS 160 and NS 200 do not get USD forks.India-spec Dominar comes in two different engine specifications and is named accordingly, Dominar 400 and Dominar 250. Bajaj markets the Dominar range as power cruisers, a term which is inspired by Ducati Diavel. Both Dominar gets LED lighting, beefy and muscular proportions and powerful engines.Bajaj Dominar 160 and Dominar 200In Brazil, Bajaj has launched India-spec NS160 and NS200 as Dominar 160 and Dominar 200. Hat tip to automotive enthusiast Varun Murali for sharing the update. In India, Bajaj is headed in a new direction when it comes to the Pulsar range. We have seen it with Pulsar N250 and F250, N160 and recently launched P150.It is speculated that the NS lineup will be absorbed by the N lineup in Bajaj’s portfolio. We have seen the launch of N160 and N125 being tested and geared up for launch. Classic OG Pulsar lineup is said to be transformed into the P lineup as we saw with P150. With an extensive global portfolio, Bajaj might be rebranding the NS lineup as Dominar for Brazil.ChangesBrazil-spec Bajaj Dominar 200 and Dominar 160 get USD forks up front unlike regular telescopic forks found in NS lineup in India. Bajaj is offering 31 mm USD fork on Dominar 160 and 33 mm USD fork on Dominar 200. New Bajaj Platina 110 ABS At Dealer Showroom – First Walkaround

Displacing 115.45 cc, Bajaj Platina 110 ABS engine makes 8.44 bhp of power and 9.81 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed gearboxNew Bajaj Platina 110 ABSCompetition leads to better products for end consumers. This has stayed true in almost every segment. To create competition there has to be someone to take the leap of faith or take the first step. That’s exactly what Bajaj has done with Platina 110 ABS.By launching Platina ABS, Bajaj has introduced the safety net of ABS in 110-115cc budget commuter segment. As seen in top 10 motorcycle sales charts, Hero Splendor and Honda CB Shine secure the top spots while Platina takes 5th spot with 33K units in its name.Bajaj Platina 110 ABS WalkaroundPriced at Rs. 72,224 (ex-sh), Bajaj Platina 110 ABS is a good buy when rivals are considered. Post-launch, display units have started to arrive at dealerships. Thanks to BikeDirector channel, we now have a detailed walkaround to understand what this new vehicle offers. Let’s take a look. This segment-first ABS safety net is likely to bring increased sales for Bajaj. The company has received feedback regarding better braking hardware as the target demographic faced a lot of panic braking situations. Roads are filled with random idiocies and unregulated factors result in panic braking situations which further lead into wheel locking and skidding. These are major concerns and often lead to accidents.[embedded content][embedded content]Now that Bajaj has introduced ABS in this budget commuter segment, it is highly likely that rivals will take notice and implement similar tech. Speaking about the motorcycle in question, the walkaround video gives good insights. For starters, design and powertrain are identical to the Platina 110 ES model, without ABS.We get a fairly stylish design when commuter standards are concerned. Alloy wheel differs from Platina 100 and gets an option of disc brake as well. Headlight assembly gets a black surround and a semi-transparent visor, which is opaque on lower trims of Platina 100. It gets a long seat which should appeal to the target demographic. We now have ABS stickers on front telescopic forks which is a visual identifier as opposed to other variants in Platina 110 lineup. The digital instrument cluster offers a fair amount of information and even displays ABS indications as well.Specs & FeaturesComponentry is kept identical to standard Platina 110, except for the new ABS hardware. The overall motorcycle weighs in at just 119 kg and is very manoeuvrable by an average person. Combining this lightness with a 115.45 cc single-cylinder engine, one can expect impressive fuel economy figures. This fuel injected engine is capable of making 8.44 bhp of power at 7,000 RPM and 9.81 Nm of torque at 5,000 RPM. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox connected to rear wheels via a chain drive. Bajaj Platina 110 ABS retains the 11L fuel tank from the outgoing model and offers a decent tank range. More

Bajaj Platina ABS 110cc Launch Price 72k – First In Segment

Bajaj Platina 110 ABS will ensure better safety for riders, who often have to deal with panic braking situationsBajaj Platina ABS 110ccContinuing on its mission to improve overall user experience, Bajaj has launched Platina 110 ABS. It is India’s first motorcycle in 100-110cc segment to offer the safety net of ABS. The bike also gets a digital speedometer that shows a broader range of information including ABS indicator.Even with first-in-segment ABS features and other updates, Bajaj has ensured that Platina 110 does not compromise on the affordability factor. Platina 110 ABS is available at a starting price of Rs 72,224 (ex-showroom Delhi). This is around the same as 100cc Splendor Plus, the largest selling motorcycle in the country.Bajaj Platina 110 ABSRiding on two wheels can never be 100% safe. But at least new features can reduce some of the risks that riders face on an everyday basis. Platina 110 ABS does just that by providing the right equipment to effectively deal with panic braking situations. Based on consumer feedback, it was noted that one of the key challenges two-wheeler users face is panic braking. Such situations can arise due to various factors such as stray animals, rash driving, bad patches on the roads, potholes, wrong side driving, etc.ABS helps, as it significantly improves balance, handling and stability in such challenging situations. ABS also reduces braking distance, which helps avoid direct collisions. With ABS, users can avoid skidding and crashing, which can result in serious bruising and other injuries. ABS becomes all the more important here, as India accounts for the world’s highest road deaths. Among them, around 45% of the accidents involve two-wheelers.Bajaj Platina ABS 110ccApart from improved braking, Platina 110 ABS is equipped with a new digital speedometer. It displays a range of information including ABS indicator, gear indicator and gear guidance. Platina 110 ABS has longer front and rear suspension that helps avoid jerks and vibrations. The bike has a long, wide and well-padded seat for optimal comfort of both rider and pillion. Platina 110 ABS has state-of-the-art headlight with integrated DRL, which ensures clear visibility to the rider. Will other commuter bikes get ABS?Segment-first features are always welcome and even more so when they are meant to prevent injuries and save lives. In various tests, ABS has demonstrated its capabilities to prevent accidents. As ABS offers clear, scientifically verifiable benefits, it raises the question as to why it should not be made mandatory for all two wheelers. If helmets can be made mandatory, why not ABS?Increased cost is apparently the primary resistance, but if Bajaj can do it why not others. Lakhs of 100-110cc bikes are sold annually, which demonstrates the significant number of users that stand to gain with ABS.Even if there is no regulatory intervention, it is possible that market forces may prompt other OEMs to introduce ABS with their commuter bikes. People who care about their safety and their loved ones will naturally prefer bikes that offer enhanced safety. More

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Discontinued – Replaced By New P150

Pulsar 150’s successor P150 has already been launched, which will continue to rival the likes of Honda Unicorn, Yamaha FZ 15, TVS Apache 160 and Gixxer 155Old Gen Bajaj Pulsar 150 DiscontinuedPulsar 150 and Pulsar 180 have played a key role in establishing Bajaj Auto as a leading player in motorcycle segment. The bikes are preferred for their sporty profile and powerful performance. Pulsar range has been expanded over the years and it continues to be the primary contributor to overall sales. After an exciting journey of more than two decades, Bajaj has taken the decision to discontinue Pulsar 150. It was inevitable, as Bajaj had launched the successor Pulsar P150 in November 2022. Pulsar 150 discontinuation is part of Bajaj’s ongoing initiative to revamp its Pulsar range. As part of that plan, Pulsar 180 was discontinued in August 2022, whereas Pulsar 220 production was stopped in 2021.Pulsar 150 evolutionWhile Bajaj had once dominated the scooter segment in 1980s and 90s, the market transformed rapidly with availability of affordable 100cc commuter bikes. These were faster, more agile and offered higher fuel efficiency. Such developments prompted Bajaj to step-up focus on motorcycles, which eventually resulted in launch of Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180. The Pulsar twins got the attention of enthusiasts with their superior look and feel and peppy performance.Over the years, a number of changes and generational updates have been introduced for Pulsar 150. The first-gen Pulsar 150 used to generate 12 bhp of max power and was mated to a 5-speed gearbox. A big update for the bike was DTS-i Digital Twin Spark Ignition technology in 2003. It boosted overall performance and also improved fuel efficiency.New Pulsar P150Another feature that made Pulsar 150 popular was Nitrox rear suspension, which was probably a best-in-segment feature at that time. It ensured smoother rides and was especially useful in tackling rough patches on the streets. In its current form, Pulsar 150 churns out 14 PS of max power and 13.25 Nm of peak torque. The bike has a dominating street presence, with features such as wolf-eyed headlamp, carbon fibre accents and dagger-edged graphics. Pulsar 150 runs on 17-inch wheels at both ends and comes with 260mm ventilated front disc, integrated with ABS.Pulsar P150 featuresWhile legends are difficult to replace, the successor Pulsar P150 has a lot more to offer. Design has been completely overhauled to achieve a sharper, sportier profile. Some of the key highlights include sleek headlamp, sculpted fuel tank, slim waistline, underbelly exhaust and crystalline LED tail lamp. The bike is available in a range of exciting single-tone and dual-tone colour options.Power-to-weight ratio is higher now, as the bike weighs 10 kg less than the outgoing model. The all-new refined engine onboard Pulsar P150 generates 14.5 PS and 13.5 Nm. Improvements have also been made across torque availability, gear shift smoothness and reduction in noise and vibrations. Users can expect better ride quality, as Pulsar P150 has advanced monoshock rear suspension. All these updates have prepared P150 to take on the baton from Pulsar 150. More
