    Pulsar NS200 Single ABS Variant
    For a long time, Bajaj Pulsar has been a popular name in the premium street motorcycle genre. With the Pulsar NS200, Bajaj introduced a more premium powertrain and made performance and sophistication affordable to the masses. With the 2024 model, Bajaj improved on this motorcycle with new design and features along with more premium componentry.
    2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Single ABS Variant
    Fast forwarding to April 2025, Bajaj is carving out a more affordable variant of Pulsar NS200 with less premium componentry to strike a more attractive pricing. This will help Bajaj to boost its appeal in India’s premium street bike segment and boost the sales of Pulsar brand, which is its #1 volume generator.
    As seen in the video by Sunil Tech Knowledge, we can see 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Single ABS variant has been reaching showrooms. It is offered in the same colour options as regular Pulsar NS200 launched last year. These include Cocktail Wine Red – White, Glossy Ebony Black, Metallic Pearl White and Pewter Grey – Blue.

    The main changes with the new affordable variant is that Bajaj is offering conventional 37mm RSU telescopic front forks. These are less premium than the USD front forks Bajaj used to offer on the model launched in 2024. Also, ABS is now single channel only, acting on the front wheel mated to a 300mm rotor and Grimeca calipers.
    What all have changed?
    The model launched in 2024 came with dual-channel ABS as standard. Which will continue to be offered in the top variant along with USD front forks. Other than these two changes, we don’t see any other revisions to differentiate the new affordable variant with the fully kitted-out model launched last year.
    2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Single ABS Variant
    This is a good thing as Bajaj is offering the same fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth and Navigation. Lighting setup including LED DRLs, LED headlights, LED tail lights and LED turn indicators have been retained. Wider 100-section front tyre and 130-section rear tyre are part of the equipment list too.

    Also retained, is the 199.5cc liquid-cooled SOHC 4V/cyl single-cylinder engine that is capable of generating 24 bhp of peak power and 18.7 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.     To target the fast-growing sub-middleweight motorcycle segment, Triumph had introduced the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X in July 2023. Triumph 400cc bikes have emerged as popular options, collectively ranked in the top ten list of bestselling 300cc-500cc motorcycles. In line with evolving needs of enthusiasts, Triumph will soon introduce the 2025 Scrambler 400X with multiple updates. Let’s explore what’s in store.
    2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X – What’s new?
    Updated 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X was recently spotted during a shoot in Pune. Instantly noticeable is a new yellow colour, which complements the bike’s sporty, agile character. A similar yellow shade is available with the Speed 400, but the paint format is different.

    One can also notice the distinctive graphics and Triumph logo on the fuel tank. Other additions include a raised front fender and a compact windshield. Both of these are painted in the body-coloured yellow shade. It remains to be seen if this sportier paint scheme is implemented for all variants or is exclusive to the yellow variant.
    Existing colour options available with Scrambler 400X include Matt Khaki Green / Fusion White, Volcanic Red / Phantom Black, Pearl Metallic White / Phantom Black, and Phantom Black / Silver Ice. The USD forks in golden finish are common for all variants. Other features include a circular headlamp and rear-view mirrors, knuckle guards, split seats and upswept exhaust.

    Tubeless wire-spoke wheels, enhanced off-road kit
    To make it a more versatile machine, Triumph has introduced multiple upgrades with the 2025 Scrambler 400X. Key among them is tubeless wire-spoke wheels, as seen in the spy images. While wire-spoke wheels perform better across off-road tracks, pairing it with tubed tyres creates major hassles when handling a flat. The task of removing all the parts to access the tube and fitting it all together again is just too painful.
    It’s the reason why many enthusiasts choose to go with aftermarket tubed-to-tubeless conversions. With the new 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X, enthusiasts won’t have to experience such hassles and additional expenses. With tubeless wire-spoke wheels, users get more confidence to unlock new experiences.
    Off-road capabilities are further enhanced with the addition of a full-metal engine bash plate. The existing model utilizes a plastic bash plate. It provides basic coverage but lacks the durability needed for tougher terrain. Enthusiasts will also be wishing for sintered brake pads in place of the organic ones in use currently. These organic units have a limited lifespan and also impact braking efficiency.
    New more affordable variant?
    Other than the aforementioned updates, most features and hardware remain unchanged for 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X. New Scrambler 400X could cost around Rs 12,000 more than the current model. To ensure it remains easily accessible, Triumph could introduce a new more affordable version of the Scrambler 400X.
    A similar strategy is already being used with the Speed T4, which is around Rs 42,000 cheaper than Speed 400.     With more than 4 crore units sold, Hero Splendor Plus is the world’s No 1 motorcycle. Hero MotoCorp has introduced updates at regular intervals including new colours and special editions. A new test vehicle was recently spotted, fueling speculation about potential upgrades. Let’s explore what Hero could be planning for its top selling two-wheeler.
    2025 Hero Splendor+ – OBD-2B compliance
    In line with the stricter emission norms, Hero Splendor+ will be updated to comply with the OBD-2B standards. This is part of the Bharat Stage 6 (BS6) Phase 2 emission norms. Under OBD-2B, vehicles are required to continuously monitor emissions via advanced onboard diagnostics. If any emission related issue is detected, a malfunction indicator lamp lights up on the dashboard.
    Various parts and systems are monitored such as oxygen sensors, catalytic converter, fuel system, misfire detection, etc. Other OEMs such as Honda and TVS have already updated several of their two-wheelers to comply with OBD-2B emission norms.
    Talking about Splendor+, the upgrade to OBD-2B standards is unlikely to result in any change in the bike’s performance. Equipped with a 97.2 cc, air cooled, single cylinder engine, Hero Splendor+ generates 8.02 PS and 8.05 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

    2025 Hero Splendor+ – New features?
    Based on the test vehicle spotted near Jaipur, most of the features appear to be the same as the current model. There could be a possibility of new colours, but the spy shots do not provide a clear view. The graphics on the side panels do seem a little different in comparison to that of the current model. It appears that Hero could be aiming for a more refined aesthetics for the 2025 Splendor+.
    Hardware specs will remain the same for 2025 Hero Splendor Plus. The bike utilizes a tubular double cradle frame, with telescopic front forks and 5-step adjustable dual rear shock absorbers. Both ends have 18-inch wheels, wrapped in 80/100 tubeless tyres.
    Braking setup comprises 130 mm drum brakes at front and rear with integrated braking system. Splendor+ is preferred for its compact and agile characteristics. The bike weighs 112 kg and has a ground clearance of 165 mm.

    Splendor+ variants, colours, pricing
    Base variant of Hero Splendor+ is available at a starting price of Rs 77,176. Colour options include Black Grey Stripe, Force Silver, Sports Red Black, Black Red Purple and Blue Black. Splendor+ i3S (Idle stop-start system) variant is available at a starting price of Rs 78,426. Colour options are the same as the base variant. At the same price of Rs 78,426, users can choose the all-black variant. This colour option ensures a sportier profile and enhances the bike’s road presence.
    Another captivating colour option for Splendor+ is Matt Axis Grey (Splendor+ 01 Edition). This variant is probably the best-looking version of Splendor+ currently available. The matte grey colour ensures a more premium look. This variant also gets distinctive graphics on the headlamp cowl, fuel tank and side panels. Splendor+ 01 Edition is available at a starting price of Rs 79,926.

    Honda CB350 H’ness is available in three variants – DLX, DLX Pro and DLX Pro Chrome. Prices start at Rs 2,10,500 for the DLX, Rs 2,13,500 for DLX Pro and Rs 2,15,500 for DLX Pro Chrome. Honda CB350 H’ness DLX variant is available in two colour options – Pearl Deep Ground Grey and Pearl Igneous Black. Both are single-tone colours and come with standard black seats.

    The DLX Pro variant is offered with three colour options – Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Deep Ground Grey and Rebel Red Metallic. All three are single-tone colours, but overall look and feel is enhanced with the tan seats.

    Top-spec DLX Pro Chrome variant is available in colour options of Athletic Blue Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Grey and Pearl Igneous Black. A distinctive feature is the liberal use of chrome on the front and rear fenders. DLX Pro Chrome variant has tan seats and distinctive graphics on the fuel tank.

CB350RS is the sportiest bike among Honda’s 350cc range. The DLX variant is available in two colours – Pearl Deep Ground Grey and Pearl Igneous Black.     As compared to the other two CB350s, the Honda CB350RS has some distinctive features. For example, the broad fenders have been replaced with sleeker units. The bike also gets fork gaiters for a rugged look and feel. It has a single-piece seat, as compared to the twin seat setup of CB350 and H’ness. Exhaust pipe and rear suspension springs come in a black finish instead of chrome used with the other two bikes.

    Honda 2W Sales March 2025 and FY 2025 – Ends FY As No 2

    Honda ActivaHonda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) recorded a total of 4,27,448 units in two-wheeler sales for March 2025, marking a 10.61% year-on-year growth compared to 3,86,455 units sold in March 2024. The growth was primarily led by a strong uptick in domestic market demand, while exports registered a decline.

    In the domestic market, Honda sold 4,01,411 units, registering a healthy 12.08% YoY growth over 3,58,151 units sold in March 2024. Month-on-month, domestic sales also improved by 4.56%, up from 3,83,918 units in February 2025. Domestic sales contributed over 93.9% of Honda’s total two-wheeler volumes for the month.

    However, Honda’s export performance saw a decline of 8.01% YoY, with 26,037 units exported in March 2025 as against 28,304 units in the same month last year. Compared to February 2025’s 38,531 units, exports dropped sharply by 32.43% MoM, reducing export share to just 6.09% of the total volume.

    Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) concluded FY2024-25 on a high note, posting a strong 19.16% year-on-year growth in overall two-wheeler sales. The company sold a total of 58,31,104 units during the financial year, up from 48,93,522 units in FY2023-24 — an impressive increase of 9,37,582 units.

    Honda’s domestic two-wheeler business saw a robust performance, with 53,26,092 units sold in FY2025, marking a 17.57% growth over the 45,30,196 units sold in the previous fiscal. The strong demand was driven by popular models such as the Activa, Shine 125, and Unicorn, supported by expanding rural and urban market penetration.
    HMSI’s export division also delivered an outstanding performance, registering 5,05,012 units in FY2025, a jump of 39% over 3,63,326 units in FY2024. Exports now account for 8.66% of the company’s total sales, reflecting Honda’s growing global footprint and its increasing focus on overseas markets.

    Despite its impressive growth in both domestic and export markets, Honda 2-Wheelers narrowly missed out on overtaking Hero MotoCorp to become the No. 1 two-wheeler manufacturer in India for FY2025. Honda registered total sales of 58.31 lakh units, falling short by just 68,083 units when compared to Hero MotoCorp’s 58.99 lakh units. While Honda outpaced Hero significantly in exports—shipping over 5.05 lakh units versus Hero’s 2.87 lakh units—it was Hero’s stronger domestic sales performance that helped it retain the top spot for yet another fiscal year.     New Benelli Leoncino 250 Spied Testing In India – Launch Soon?

This test mule did not have any testing equipment on board and most of the components look production ready. A launch might happen in the coming months positioning Leoncino 250 as the company’s most affordable motorcycle.

    Not a long time ago, Benelli India used to offer smaller capacity twin cylinder motorcycles as well as single-cylinder offerings. Fast forwarding to April 2025, Benelli India’s most affordable model is Leoncino 500, priced around Rs 5 lakh (Ex-sh). The single cylinder offerings like Imperiale 400, TRK 251 and Leoncino 250 were discontinued.
    Benelli seems to be keen on re-launching Leoncino 250 in the Indian market, as suggested by the recent spy shots. This will open Benelli’s portfolio to a much wider audience if the new Benelli Leoncino 250 was launched around the Rs 2.5 lakh mark (Ex-sh). At that price point, it will take on other neo retro bikes like Honda CB300R.
    Leoncino 250 can also be a great candidate to rival Royal Enfield Classic 350 to some extent, considering Benelli is a stalwart legacy motorcycle manufacturer with a rich heritage and legacy as well. Leoncino 250 will pack a significantly modern engine with liquid-cooling and will weigh a lot less.

    What to expect?
    When compared to the Benelli Leoncino 250 sold till 2020 in India, we don’t see a lot of differences with this new model. It is still a classic neo retro motorcycle with Roadster like silhouette. It looks cool and distinct, which will be its trump card. The main changes can be seen in the exhaust shape and this new Leoncino 250 seems to have tank shrouds.
    Other than that, it still gets a tail tidy with a tyre hugger mounted LED number plates. While this test mule didn’t have rear turn indicators, the production version will. There is a single-piece seat and street-style handlebar allowing the rider to sit upright. Rider footpegs are slightly rear-seat for sporty aggression.
    ORVMs are not round anymore, while LED headlights seem to be. We wish Benelli offers a TFT cluster in place of the LCD unit seen on the discontinued model. It still gets USD telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS along with 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 110-section front and 150-section rear tyres.
    New Benelli Leoncino 250 Spied
    Powering this vehicle is likely to be the same 249cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with around 25 bhp and 21 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. However, it will be BS6 OBD2B emission standard compliant, this time around. Launch is likely to happen in the coming months.
