This week on Window Shop With Car and Driver, we asked our editors to suggest nice used luxury cars that can be found for roughly the same price as a new, base-model Honda Accord or Toyota RAV4. Some of us fit the brief better than others—we’re looking at you, Quiroga—but the fact is, buying a used car may mean a lot more bang for your buck.

Used cars might not come with a warranty and they certainly won’t have that new-car smell, but perhaps some of our suggestions here could sway you. Wouldn’t a 2016 BMW 750i look mighty nice in your driveway? How about one of C/D’s favorite wagons–the Mercedes-Benz E-class wagon–as your new grocery getter? You might even be surprised to find that a pre-loved Bentley or Maserati can fit the budget, sometimes even with money left over for an extended warranty or to save for repairs and maintenance.

Which of our finds pique your interest most? Let us know in the comments section of our YouTube channel.
