2020 Audi Q7's Least- and Most-Powerful Variants Priced

  • The Audi Q7 SUV is updated for 2020, and it has added a high-performance SQ7 variant.
  • We now have pricing for the base four-cylinder model and the V-8–powered SQ7, which complement the mid-level V-6 model that was announced earlier.
  • The 45 TFSI model is on sale now, and the SQ7 will arrive at dealerships in the second quarter of this year.

Audi already released information about the 2020 Q7 SUV’s 55 TFSI model, and we now have more details on the two versions that bookend that V-6 variant. The base Q7 45 TFSI with its four-cylinder engine starts at $55,795, while the top-dog SQ7 with its V-8 engine starts at $85,795 (the V-6 55 TFSI model starts at $61,975).

The turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four is a carryover engine from last year, and it produces the same 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque as before. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard equipment, and it’s also available in a better-equipped Premium Plus trim level that starts at $58,195.

The SQ7 is a new model that features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine making 500 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. Its base trim level is Premium Plus, and there’s also a Prestige version that starts at $91,395. There’s also an SQ8 model coming with the same powertrain, but Audi has not yet released pricing for that car.

All versions of the 2020 Q7 benefit from an update that includes new styling front and rear, and a new interior layout which features dual touchscreens. The 55 TFSI model also has a new turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 to replace the old supercharged 3.0-liter V-6.
