At 2025 Auto Expo, TVS Motor took the cover off a few interesting concepts, two of which grabbed our attention a lot. We’re talking about TVS RTS X Supermoto Concept and Vision iQube Concept that look rather good, showcasing a glimpse of the company’s future design direction.
RTS X Supermoto Concept
This is the first time TVS Motor is trying the Supermoto genre. As seen in the pictures, TVS RTS X Supermoto Concept is still far off from the production line. Mainframe of this motorcycle looks similar to that of Apache RTR 310, while subframe is entirely new. This subframe even houses an under-seat exhaust, which looks rather neat.
There’s a long single-piece seat that is set too high to offer a high-riding posture with 875mm seat height. Bodywork includes an edgy fuel tank, muscular tank shrouds finished in a translucent effect, a flat LED headlight with a sharp front beak, partial front fork covers and knuckle guards.
Engine start button is below a fighter-jet-inspired toggle on fuel tank, which means it gets a keyless go feature. There’s also a pill-shaped instrument cluster. USD front forks were not adjustable and TVS RTS X Supermoto Concept gets 17-inch wheels on both ends with fat rubber.
It weighs 144 kg and can sprint to 60 km/h in 2.8s and 100 km/h in 6.3s. It is powered by a 299cc engine, probably the new RT XD4 engine, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Supermoto genre is not exactly popular in India. KTM is likely to be contemplating launching 390 SMC R here. Once that happens, TVS might be prepping a rival for it under Apache RTS sub-brand.
Vision iQube Concept
TVS Motor currently sells iQube range of electric scooters in India with fixed and rechargeable battery options. However, the company seems to be visualising a future where swappable battery tech holds prominence. That’s exactly what TVS Vision iQuve Concept showcased at Auto Expo 2025, seems to be signifying.
Even with design perspective, this futuristic concept vehicle is an astonishing piece. The size quotient has been increased massively. It is much longer and significantly wider than current iQube scooter. Handlebar on this scooter is exposed and they get two square digital screens that seems to take care of switchgear functions.
In place of an instrument cluster, we can see a HUD (Head Up Display). Diamond-shape LED headlight, single-piece seat, muscular side body panels, extending tail section with an inverted ‘U’ shaped LED tail light, massive disc brakes at both ends and fat tyres are notable attributes of TVS Vision iQube Concept.
