Hero XOOM 160

Hero MotoCorp has shared three exciting new teasers ahead of the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, building anticipation for the launch of its latest two-wheelers. The teasers spotlight the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250R, and Xoom 160, all of which are expected to be unveiled at the event today. With advanced technology and cutting-edge features, these launches signal Hero’s aggressive push into higher-capacity motorcycles and premium scooters.

Hero Xoom 160

Hero’s flagship scooter, the Xoom 160, introduces a liquid-cooled engine to the brand’s scooter lineup for the first time. Powered by a 156cc single-cylinder engine generating 14 hp and 13.7 Nm of torque, the Xoom 160 promises stability and comfort with its large 14-inch dual-purpose tyres.

Its ADV-inspired design includes an aggressive front beak, dual LED headlamps with DRLs, a large windscreen, and muscular body panels. The scooter boasts modern features like a fully digital instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and keyless entry. With its sporty look and versatile performance, the Xoom 160 takes aim at rivals like the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Aprilia SXR 160.

Hero Xtreme 250R

Hero Xtreme 250R

The Hero Xtreme 250R marks the brand’s debut in the 250cc segment with its first liquid-cooled engine. Delivering 30 PS and 25 Nm of torque, the engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, allowing the bike to achieve a brisk 0-60 km/h sprint in just 3.25 seconds.

Designed for agility and performance, the Xtreme 250R is equipped with lightweight wheels and radial tyres, offering a balanced 50-50 weight distribution for enhanced grip and control. The trellis frame is suspended on golden 43 mm USD forks at the front and a 6-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. Safety features include dual disc brakes and switchable ABS, ensuring confident handling on the streets or highways.

The Xpulse 210, based on the 210cc engine from the Karizma XMR, has been fine-tuned for off-road adventures. The liquid-cooled DOHC engine produces 24.5 bhp and 20.4 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch. Designed for rugged terrains, the Xpulse 210 offers exceptional suspension travel—210 mm at the front and 205 mm at the rear—along with 220 mm of ground clearance. Riders can switch between ABS modes to adapt to varying conditions. The bike also features a 4.2-inch TFT display for navigation and ride data, solidifying its appeal to adventure enthusiasts.

Hero’s Vision for the Future

These new offerings reflect Hero MotoCorp’s strategic move to expand its premium motorcycle and scooter portfolio. By targeting higher-capacity segments and introducing innovative features, Hero aims to appeal to a broader audience, from streetfighters and adventure bikers to urban commuters.

Bookings for the Xtreme 250R, Xoom 160, and Xpulse 210 will likely begin today. Deliveries are expected to commence soon after their grand unveiling at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Stay tuned for more updates from the event as Hero sets a new benchmark in Indian two-wheeler mobility.
