While focusing on cosmetic touch-ups and new colours, new Bajaj Pulsar RS200 also gets a fully digital instrument panel

Bajaj’s focus on introducing updates for its Pulsar range has ensured that these bikes continue to register strong sales. The New Year starts with the introduction of the updated Pulsar RS200. Bookings are already open at authorized Bajaj dealerships.

2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 – What’s new?

Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gets a new fully digital TFT instrument console. This is a major upgrade from the existing semi-digital instrument console that looks quite clumpy. The semi-digital instrument may have been relevant at a certain point in time, but the current consumer preferences are heavily in favour of a fully digital experience. With the new console, users should also be able to access a larger set of connectivity features.

The new digital instrument also enhances the overall look and feel of the cockpit area. Distinctive colours used in the screen ensure that users can quickly find the information they are looking for. The speedometer is positioned centrally and displays the numbers in a large font.

With ample brightness, the digital instrument should work efficiently across both day and night environments. With the new Pulsar RS200 getting the digital instrument, it will now ensure a similar experience as that of other Pulsar bikes such as NS400Z, N250, N150, N160 and others that have a fully digital instrument console.

New colours and graphics

While the fairing remains largely the same as earlier, updated 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gets new colours and sportier graphics. The bike already has a striking road presence, eliminating the need for a major overhaul.

The outgoing model is available in three colour options – Burnt Red, Pewter Grey and White. Updated graphics and colour combinations ensure a fresh new look for the bike.

Updated tail section

While there aren’t any major changes at the front and sides, the updated Pulsar RS200 does get a new tail lamp configuration. The quirky units seen with the current model have been replaced with vertically stacked C-shaped tail lamps. This new configuration for the rear lighting should look good, especially after the number plates are installed.

Missing items

Based on market feedback, it seems that enthusiasts were expecting a lot more than just some cosmetic touch-ups. For example, many Pulsar fans were expecting that the updated RS200 will be getting USD forks. However, the bike will continue with the existing telescopic forks with anti-friction bush.

Most other hardware will also be the same as earlier. The bike has 17-inch wheels at both ends and a Nitrox mono shock absorber at rear. Braking setup comprises 300 mm and 230 mm discs at front and rear, respectively. Dual-channel ABS is offered as standard. Updated Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will continue with the existing 199.5 cc, liquid cooled, Triple Spark, 4-valve engine. It generates 24.5 PS and 18.7 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
