With greater ambitions for CY 2025, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) has launched the updated lineup of its Gixxer and V-Strom SX range. These updated models get new colours for MY25 and are launched in India with OBD-2B compliant powertrains. Let’s take a detailed look at which bikes get what colour.
2025 Suzuki Gixxer
Suzuki is trying to bring new excitement among mainstream motorcycle buyers in India. The company calls Gixxer range ‘Straight Ahead Sports Bikes’. They get a new tagline – Never Lets Me Down. Thus signifying engine’s durability and reliability associated with Suzuki’s Gixxer lineup.
With the new and updated 2025 Suzuki Gixxer range, the company is offering a holistic product that promises to deliver in terms of design, appeal, performance and reliability. The product lineup is broken down into genre and displacement. There is a street naked Gixxer in both 150cc and 250cc classes with a fully-faired Gixxer SF in both 150cc and 250cc classes.
Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 now come in three colour options – Metallic Mat Black No. 2, Metallic Mat Black No.2/ Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red, and Metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White, with prices starting from Rs 1,98,000 (Ex-sh) and Rs 2,07,000 (Ex-sh) respectively.
On the other hand, the 150cc Gixxer and Gixxer SF now get three new colour options – Metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Oort Gray/ Metallic Lush Green. The street naked GIXXER price starts from Rs 1,37,900 (Ex-sh) and the fully-faired GIXXER SF prices start from Rs 1,47,400 (Ex-sh).
2025 Suzuki V-Storm SX
Where the 250cc ADV, Suzuki V-Strom SX, is concerned, we now get three new colour schemes. These include – Champion Yellow No.2, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Sonoma Red with prices starting from Rs 2,16,000 (Ex-sh). This motorcycle is known for its touring capabilities and light off-roading with larger 19-inch front wheels and reasonable wind protection along with an attractive ADV-inspired design.
Apart from the new colours, Suzuki Motorcycles India has made these offerings compatible with latest OBD-2B standard. Other than these changes, all five of Suzuki’s mainstream motorcycles stay the same. Both 150cc (13.6 PS, 13.8 Nm, 5MT) air-cooled and 250cc (26.2 PS, 22.2 Nm, 6MT) oil-cooled engines remain the same.
