Not only does 2025 Ather 450S get an Ex-sh price hike of Rs 4,400, associated Pro Pack is now pricier by Rs 1,000, totalling to Rs 5,400
Ather Energy, 4th highest-selling electric 2W manufacturer in India, has just entered 2025 calendar year with a bang. The company is launching updated MY25 versions of popular 450 electric scooter range. These updates have been bestowed upon 450S, 450X 2.9 kWh and 450X 3.7 kWh.
2025 Ather 450 Scooter
Beginning of 2025, Ather launched updated versions of 450S, 450X 2.9 kWh and 450X 3.7 kWh models. Price for updated 2025 Ather 450 scooter range starts from Rs 1.3 lakh (Ex-sh). There are two new colours added to the palette now – Hyper Sand and Stealth Blue. Sadly, Hyper Sand is only reserved for pricier 450X variants.
This entry price of Rs 1.3 lakh (Ex-sh) is for 2025 Ather 450S, which has seen a price hike of Rs 4,400 in Ex-sh. Not just that. Ather has also hiked prices of Pro Pack for 450S to Rs 14,000, by Rs 1,000 than before.
Considering most of the advertised features of 450S are in this optional Pro Pack, cost does add up. In total, price hike for Ather 450S with Pro Pack turns out to be Rs 5,400. For the increase in price, Ather is giving faster charging with 2025 450S as standard. However, increase in Wattage is minuscule at 25W (from 350W to 375W).
More features with 450X
Highest price hike can be seen with 2025 Ather 450X 2.9 kWh variant as it is dearer by Rs 6,400 (Ex-sh). Priced at Rs 1.47 lakh (Ex-sh, without Pro Pack), 2025 Ather 450X 2.9 kWh variant now gets two new colours on the outside – Hyper Sand and Stealth Blue. Notably, Pro Packs for both Ather 450X variants don’t get any price hikes.
Where features are concerned, Ather has added adjustable traction control and Magic Twist. Main addition with MY25 450X 2.9 kWh is that it now gets a 700W AC charger as standard. When compared to 350W charger it got before, charging times are almost halved. While the price hike is highest with this variant, added features look like they’re justified.
Lastly, we have 2025 450X 3.7 kWh variant priced at Rs 1.57 lakh (Ex-sh). Price hike with this variant is lowest at Rs 2,000 (Ex-sh), but it stays more or less the same as before, except for new colours. New Magic Twist feature gets two levels on 450X 3.7 kWh variant when compared to 450X 2.9 kWh variant.
