Suzuki Sales December 2024 – Domestic vs Export

SMIPL recorded total sales of 96,804 units in December 2024, reflecting a 22 percent year-on-year growth. Domestic sales accounted for 78,834 units, up by 9,809 units from December 2023, reflecting 14.21 percent growth. Suzuki Sales December 2024 exports stood at 17,970 units, marking a remarkable 72 percent year-on-year growth with a difference of 7,512 units.

Month-on-month growth for December 2024 stood at 2.58 percent, with total sales increasing by 2,434 units compared to November 2024. Total sales stood at 96,804 units, up from 94,370 units. Domestic sales rose by 501 units over November’s 78,333 units, resulting in a 0.64 percent month-on-month increase at 78,834 units. Export sales grew by 1,933 units from November’s 16,037 units, to almost 18k units. Translating to a 12.05 percent rise.

Q4 Highlights: Suzuki’s 3.11 Lakh Units

In Q4 2024, Suzuki achieved total sales of 3,11,229 units, a 16.53 percent increase compared to Q4 2023’s 2,67,086 units. Outpacing Q4 2023 by 44,143 units. Domestic sales accounted for 2,62,107 units, up by 35,645 units from the 2,26,462 units in Q4 2023, reflecting a 15.74 percent year-on-year growth. Export sales in Q4 2024 rose to 49,122 units, showing a 20.92 percent increase from Q4 2023’s 40,624 units. Export sales increased by 8,498 units to cement Suzuki’s rising export footprint.

Domestic sales made up 81.44 percent of December 2024’s total figures. The increase of 9,809 units year-on-year signifies consistent demand in the local market. Month-on-month, domestic sales rose by 501 units, marking lower growth.

Double-Digit Export Growth

Export sales in December 2024 accounted for 18.56 percent of total sales, emphasising the growing contribution of international markets. Compared to November 2024, export volume increased by 1,933 units, driving the segment’s double-digit growth.

Suzuki Access 125 scooter achieved a production milestone in December 2024, with cumulative output surpassing 60 lakh units. Its reliability and performance is key to its success in the competitive scooter segment.
