We hope there are multiple variants of 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 with top-spec trim offering premium components like USD front forks
After launching ‘Biggest Pulsar Ever’ in the form of Pulsar NS400Z, Bajaj Auto has turned its gaze towards updating its long overdue Pulsar RS200. Expectations on this update include improvements across the board with an overhaul in features and equipment. Pulsar RS200 has stayed more or less the same, ever since it was launched.
Ahead of launch, Bajaj has been dropping teasers of this upcoming motorcycle time and time again. For the first time, we can see spy shots of this upcoming motorcycle, showing us some of the key updates expected with this launch. Let’s take a closer look.
2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Spied
Called Racing Sports, Bajaj spawned a whole new category with Pulsar RS200. This is the company’s first and only fully-faired motorcycle. Whereas, the now discontinued Pulsar AS200 (Adventure Sports) was a semi-faired ADV-style motorcycle with an upright riding posture.
Based on the widely popular Pulsar NS200, upcoming Pulsar RS200 will get meaningful updates in features and equipment. As seen in the spy video by riderkannadiga, we can see that there are a few updates with this particular spy shot in features and technology. Whereas in design, we can hardly see any changes.
As suggested by these spy shots, 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will retain the same fascia with Bumblebee inspired (from Micheal Bay movie series, Transformers) appeal. The twin projector headlights with eyebrow-like LED DRLs continue as is. Underneath the camouflage, there may be some changes in design, which we can’t manage to grasp with these limited spy shots.
What Are The Updates?
Looking at this motorcycle’s componentry, the excitement we had while drawing speculations about 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is slightly lowered. That’s because there doesn’t seem to be any changes with componentry too. This particular test mule dons the same RSU telescopic forks as current model along with the same wheels and same braking components.
Rear tyre seems to have been updated, with fatter 140-section rubber, replacing the 130-section units on current model. Perimeter frame, clip-on handlebars, committed riding position, rear-set footpegs, split seat setup and other attributes are carried over too. What seems to have changed is the instrument cluster.
It is highly likely to be the same unit as updated Pulsar NS200 with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The same 199.5cc KTM-derived liquid-cooled engine with 24.1 bhp and 18.7 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch is this motorcycle’s main strength and will be retained as is. Launch is likely to happen very soon with a slight hike in price, when compared to current sticker price of Rs 1.72 lakh (Ex-sh).
